00:03the produced strategy execution software
00:05in this video we'll give you a quick
00:07overview of all the features that we
00:09offer on the Purdue platform and how
00:10they all work together but for most of
00:13the features we do stay at the surface
00:15watch the other videos in this playlist
00:17to really understand uh the details of
00:20how specific features work and how you
00:22can benefit from them
00:23and so this what you see on the stream
00:25right now this is your home view every
00:27time that you first log that you log in
00:29you'll land on home what a home does is
00:32that it surfaces the most important
00:34information for you as an individual
00:36user so here I can see the goals that
00:39I'm currently responsible for and here
00:41on the right I can easily see how these
00:43goals are currently performing and if
00:45you use Purdue also for your one-on-one
00:47meetings then here you'll be able to see
00:49the action items from these one-on-one
00:52meetings that have been assigned to you
00:53and you can see your teams so these are
00:57the teams that you're either a member of
00:59or that you have favorite it and then
01:02here you can easily stay on top of the
01:03performance of these teams and same for
01:08here on the right you have a Kudos feet
01:10Kudos is a peer recognition feature so
01:14if you click give kudos you can send
01:15praise to a colleague so Nick here sent
01:18kudos to Oscar for great work that is
01:21done on the initiative to shorten the
01:24demo flow other people in your company
01:26can then respond to these by adding
01:28emoticons and here on the right you can
01:31see your direct reports and you can see
01:33whether or not they have checked in and
01:35if they did check in you can click on it
01:37to then see the latest check-in report
01:41um where I want to go to next is a
01:43strategy strategy map because this is
01:45typically where most companies that get
01:47started with Purdue start to set up
01:49their company strategy produce a
01:51strategy execution software so the first
01:53thing that you have to do of course is
01:54set up your company strategy on the
01:56Purdue platform now the way that we
01:58approach that is that we always start
02:00with the ultimate goal of your business
02:01that is your mission and vision for us
02:04at Purdue that's to help mid-sized
02:05organizations accelerate growth through
02:07the successful execution of strategy
02:10what you do next is set up your
02:12company's strategy in the form of
02:14strategic pillars and then each each
02:16strategic pillar should explain how your
02:18company is differentiating itself from
02:21the competition and and what are your
02:23how to win choices that will help you
02:26win in your chosen markets so to give
02:28you two examples by the way you can use
02:30this zoom in and zoom out functionality
02:34um but to give you two examples from
02:37um one important choice for us for how
02:38to win in our Market is to become a
02:40great place to work that's what we need
02:42to be in order to attract and retain the
02:44talent that we need to build a
02:47um and another important strategic
02:49pillar for us is to offer the best
02:51resource support and Consulting we've
02:53learned early on that
02:55um for the market that we're in it
02:57usually takes more than just a software
02:59to make our customers successful and we
03:02are a full service provider so we offer
03:04all the resources support and Consulting
03:06that you could possibly need to become
03:08successful with Purdue and successful
03:10with strategy execution now you see that
03:12if I move my mouse over these at a
03:14tooltip appears with more details and
03:16this as a CEO this really helps me
03:18explain to everyone not only what is our
03:20strategy but also explain why this is
03:23now once you have a strategic pillar set
03:25up you can then align both kpis and okrs
03:27starting with kpis first
03:29um if so when we set the strategy to be
03:32a great place to work we then asked
03:34ourselves of course what are the areas
03:36of our business that we constantly need
03:38to invest in and need to look at to make
03:40sure that we are remain a great place to
03:42work so we set employee happiness that's
03:44obviously going to be important and we
03:46decided to measure that by looking at
03:48enps employer MPS now when you click on
03:51that kpi it opens the kpi model and then
03:53here you can see how progress evolved
03:55over time for that kpi that's the blue
03:57line and you can also see how the target
03:59changed over time that's the gray line
04:01so as you see here at the bottom for
04:03each kpi and Purdue you can change the
04:08now currently we're targeting value of
04:0950 current value is 75.8 that's why this
04:12kpi is marked as healthy I don't need to
04:15update this kpi manually in Purdue
04:17because you see here that it's
04:18integrated so in this case progress is
04:20automatically updated via the Google
04:21Sheets integration that's simply because
04:23the way we measure emps is we send out a
04:26Google form at the start of each quarter
04:27to the team and as our team answers that
04:30survey and the Google form is integrated
04:32we produce it automatically pushes
04:33progress for this okr here in Purdue as
04:37so that's how kpis tie into this and
04:40then next up are okrs the way most
04:43organizations work with okrs they said
04:45annual oakr's the quarter level as you
04:47see here in this swim Lane and they set
04:50quarterly okrs as you see here at the
04:52bottom at the team and individual level
04:54this is fully customizable so if you
04:57want to work with five-year strategic
04:59objectives and then go to semi-annual
05:00okrs and then monthly okrs that's all
05:03possible it's fully customizable and
05:05we'll explain how to do that in a
05:06different in a separate video
05:09now if you want to get more details
05:11about a specific OCR simply click on it
05:13that opens the okr model here you can
05:15then see the logic that we use so we
05:17always start with the objective in this
05:19case provide the optimum demo experience
05:21the objective always tells you where you
05:23want to go you can then create key
05:25results which you recognize over the
05:27blue icon key results the results that
05:29you need to achieve in order to reach
05:30your objective and if you wish you can
05:32also use Purdue to track your
05:34initiatives which you recognize here by
05:36the green icon initiatives are all the
05:38projects and tasks that people work on
05:39in order to achieve the key results
05:42now if I click on one of these
05:43initiatives you see that you can then
05:45also break down this initiative in
05:47smaller tasks that need to be done in
05:49order to complete the overall initiative
05:54so that's it regarding strategy kpi and
05:59um for each strategic pillow that you
06:01have set up I would also recommend going
06:03into kpi boards and then set up a kpi
06:06board for each strategic pillar that's
06:08what we've done here be a great place to
06:09work offer the best resources and
06:11support to give you two examples on this
06:14kpi board you can then see exactly how
06:17that strategy is performing over time so
06:19you can see for each kpi that you see
06:22here you can see what was the Target in
06:24January 23 it was 50 current value is
06:2652.6 we achieved a Target so that's why
06:31um this is Mark the screen here you see
06:33that we were targeting a time to hire
06:35below 60 in January 23 the current value
06:38was 61 so that's why this is marked with
06:41an orange dot to warn you that you
06:43didn't achieve the Target that month
06:45as you can see here we also use kpi
06:47boards to set up our company's funnel
06:49this is a simplified version of that but
06:52you can set up a kpi board to then
06:54really build your funnel and how so here
06:56are the website visitors
06:59visitors we need to convert to leads
07:01need to be converted to customers and
07:03that would then translate to mrr and
07:05then again here on the screen you can
07:06see for each kpi what was the target
07:08each month and did we achieved that yes
07:12um when you use Purdue you also set up
07:14all your teams and users so if we click
07:16here on teams then you see all the teams
07:18that I'm a member of if I click on all
07:20teams I can see all the teams in my
07:22company this view is also what we use in
07:25our company all hands so during our All
07:27Hands we pull out Purdue we pull up the
07:28old teams overview here and then we
07:30click on customer success the head of
07:32customer success steps forward and gives
07:34a quick update on how customer success
07:37performed last month how the kpis and
07:39okrs have progressed then we go to the
07:41next team customer support Marketing
07:43sales Etc and then really within half an
07:46hour the entire company is up to date
07:48again about what are all the different
07:49goals that the different teams are
07:51working on and how are these goals
07:52progressing so that really helps boost
07:54transparency and accountability in your
07:58if you go to the sales team you see here
08:00that we have kpis and okr set up sales
08:04kpis right simple and straightforward in
08:06our case close x million in Revenue
08:08bring on board new customers our sales
08:10team contains is consists of two sub
08:12teams so we have a major a mayor region
08:15here in the North American Latin region
08:17and they each track similar kpis so
08:20close x million in revenue and bring on
08:22board new customers and the kpis from
08:24these sub teams they integrate with the
08:27top level team kpis here so
08:30um yeah as our sub teams update
08:32Salesforce the information from
08:34Salesforce pushes the progress updates
08:36for the kpis for the sub teams and that
08:38automatically drives progress for these
08:40top level team kpis here on the platform
08:42so you can also build these internal
08:45and then underneath it you'll see the
08:47okrs of course again you can click here
08:49on height or show key results to get the
08:52overview that you want and Purdue of
08:54course will also remember the view so if
08:56you go back to this page it remembers
08:57the settings that you have here
09:00for users it's quite the same so if I go
09:02to click on users then under my profile
09:04I can see all the users that are
09:06responsible that that are relevant to me
09:08such as my own profile on my own profile
09:11I can see all the goals that I'm
09:12responsible for right now I can see my
09:15manager if I had one set and I can see
09:20and then yeah Purdue is more than just a
09:21gold tracking solution so you can also
09:25um help you and your organization to
09:27achieve the goals that you're
09:27responsible for for that we have a
09:29check-in feature which we'll cover in
09:31another video uh the check-ins integrate
09:34with one-on-ones which we're also cover
09:36in another video that's what you'll see
09:38here and the performance reviews which
09:40again is this is all covered in separate
09:44um we have reporting set up on the
09:45platform there's a Health Report and
09:48this really Zooms in on the performance
09:50of your strategy execution program
09:51there's a progress reports this really
09:54looks at the performance
09:56um of of all your goals that you have
09:58set up on the platform there's also a
10:01custom reporting features if you go into
10:03all goals you can apply filters you can
10:05build like your own custom tables and
10:09dashboards as you can see here
10:11and you can save these reports there's a
10:13lot of details to it so that's why we
10:15zoom in on these specific features in in
10:19so that was it that's a very brief high
