00:00did you know that it's possible to make
00:02money on youtube without
00:03ever getting in front of a camera and
00:05without ever showing
00:06your face i know it sounds crazy but if
00:10success on youtube without spending
00:13in front of a camera filming videos with
00:16buying extremely expensive video and
00:19and without even being good at
00:21technology then i'd love to introduce
00:25of going about doing this there is a
00:28and a wrong way of going about doing
00:30this and in this video today i want to
00:33the real way which is something called
00:37channels my name is matt parr and i
00:40this method i run nine different youtube
00:42channels eight of which are niche
00:44channels where i don't even show my face
00:46i've been able to get over a million
00:48subscribers on one of my channels and
00:50over a hundred thousand subscribers on
00:52multiple other channels
00:53now just a couple of years ago in 2014
00:56i was a completely broke high school
00:58student and at the time i did have a
01:00youtube channel and i would just upload
01:02all these random videos like backyard
01:04videos with my friends gaming videos and
01:07in all honesty i'd be lucky if i had a
01:10views that is until i came across a
01:12youtube channel that uploaded videos
01:15without ever showing their face they
01:18used other people's videos they did a
01:20voiceover on top of them
01:21and they made them into fair use and
01:23they uploaded them on to youtube
01:25and these videos got millions upon
01:28and the video seems so easy to make so
01:32i took this really crappy iphone that i
01:34had at the time i started recording
01:35voiceovers with my high pitched voice
01:37i edited the videos on my laptop and i
01:40on to youtube and after switching to
01:43this method and uploading youtube videos
01:45every single day on my channel
01:47this was literally like the only thing
01:48that i was focused on in my life and
01:50after a few months doing this i had my
01:53get over a hundred thousand views now
01:56this was just completely mind-blowing to
01:58and i remember showing all my friends on
02:00my school bus i thought it was so cool
02:02now at this point i didn't even know
02:04that you could make money on youtube
02:06that is until i came across an article
02:08talking about how some of the top
02:10make tens of millions of dollars per
02:13year so i looked into it and it turns
02:15out that youtube has something called
02:16the youtube partner program
02:18in which youtube will actually put ads
02:21and they'll give you a percentage of the
02:23ad revenue for every person that watches
02:25the ads that play before your videos so
02:28i asked my parents i signed up for the
02:29youtube partner program and once i was
02:32month my channel was making three
02:35thousand dollars a month
02:36now this was a ton for a broke high
02:38school student at the time and just as a
02:40disclaimer as well that channel was
02:42already getting a ton of views
02:44every single month on it but i didn't
02:46even know about the youtube partner
02:48program and that you can monetize videos
02:50prior to that point and once i
02:51discovered that you can actually make
02:54i double down on it i put school on the
02:56back burner double down on youtube
02:57and i try to discover what works what
02:59doesn't work doubling down on what works
03:01and cutting out all the rest and in just
03:03a few months after that i was able to
03:04scale to making over nine
03:06thousand dollars a month from youtube
03:08with this incredibly unique method
03:10now even though it seemed incredible
03:12making nine thousand dollars a month as
03:14a high school student i was making more
03:16money than my parents
03:17more money than all my friends even
03:19though it seemed amazing
03:20i literally had no time to do anything
03:22else i was all in consumed
03:24with this youtube channel generating the
03:26videos myself and uploading all the
03:28myself completely from scratch that is
03:31until i figured out that you can
03:33actually outsource the work
03:35and get other people to make the videos
03:37for you and this is actually what a lot
03:39of the top youtube channels do
03:41and this is how you can potentially make
03:44without even making videos and that's
03:47truly amazing about niche youtube
03:50channels so i put together a content
03:52team on that channel
03:53and then i started making more channels
03:55in different niches since my time was
03:56now freed up and that brings us to today
03:59where i run nine different youtube
04:00channels and make over
04:02six figures per month from youtube and
04:05it feels absolutely crazy just saying
04:07and i'm so grateful for the position
04:09that i'm in today and i want to help as
04:11many people as i possibly can
04:13with this incredible way of doing
04:15youtube now before i explain what this
04:17unique way of doing youtube is
04:19let me first explain what most people
04:21think of when they think of doing
04:23and this is going to give you more
04:24context so you understand how amazing
04:27niche channels truly are now when most
04:29people think about doing youtube they
04:31think about getting in front of a camera
04:34like i'm doing right now and while there
04:36are a lot of pros with this method
04:38there's also a lot of cons and often
04:42looks like this you spend a bunch of
04:44time and money setting up a studio
04:46buying cameras audio equipment
04:47microphones lighting and then you sit
04:49there trying to come up with video ideas
04:51that you hope will get views
04:53and for most people they never do and
04:55then you spend hours in front of a
04:57filming a video with countless retakes
04:59and on top of that you have to have a
05:01good on-camera personality
05:03and then you transfer your video onto a
05:05computer you spend additional hours in
05:07front of the computer editing that video
05:09and when you finally get your video
05:10uploaded that took so much time and
05:13you have to deal with the fact that one
05:15your video might not get any views
05:18and two people attacking you personally
05:20leaving hate comments
05:21and it doesn't stop there then you do
05:22this entire process again
05:24and again now you may have been thinking
05:26about doing this you may have done this
05:28draining of a process this can be or
05:31you've known other people who've tried
05:32and failed and i've seen so many people
05:36and not get very far with it now a lot
05:38of people think that the only way to
05:40make money on youtube without making
05:42is to simply steal other people's
05:44content from their channels download it
05:47and then re-upload that footage on to
05:49youtube now whatever you do
05:51do not do that that's the wrong way of
05:54going about doing this that i see people
05:56and that's why people aren't able to
05:58build a real long-term business
06:00with their youtube channels i want you
06:04long-term success with your channel and
06:07the way you do that is by doing this
06:09the real way and here are the benefits
06:11of going about doing this
06:12the real way with niche channels you
06:14never have to step in front of a camera
06:16meaning you don't have to have a crazy
06:18personality and you don't have to be
06:20involved with everything that goes into
06:22you can start generating videos for
06:24completely free meaning that the profit
06:26margin with this business can
06:29insane and finally you can outsource the
06:32content creation once your channel is
06:35and scale to running multiple different
06:36channels in different niches
06:38and build a youtube empire and we'll get
06:41to that in just a second
