00:00okay today is going to be a very
00:01exciting video for two reasons first
00:04reason it's the main Channel debut of my
00:07hair cut if you watch my second Channel
00:09this is old news but this is what
00:11happens when you leave me alone with
00:12scissors for an hour and a
00:17half and the second reason why this is
00:19going to be exciting is because I am not
00:21late to the party I am right on time I'm
00:24potentially the earliest to the party
00:26Kylie Jenner has decided to dive into
00:29swimwear again after the incredible flop
00:32that was Kylie swim and usually I don't
00:34want to throw around words like
00:35incredible flop but I think we can all
00:38agree that was an incredible flop now I
00:40already reviewed Kai by Kylie Jenner and
00:43I waited until there was three
00:44collection launches and we got into it
00:46we did a deep dive we did the ethics and
00:48sustainability we tried all three of the
00:49collections there was a lot of sizing
00:52errors that we ran into so my entire
00:54brand review was in that video and I
00:56wasn't planning on touching Kai again
00:58but when I saw that there was going to
01:00be swimwear I could not physically
01:03contain myself because I need to see
01:06what Kylie learned from Kylie swim and
01:08brought over to Kai swim and yeah this
01:10swimwear collection launched last
01:12Thursday and I'm already reviewing it
01:15and before you ask no the brand didn't
01:16send me this I went on my computer on
01:18launch day a minute after launch and I
01:20ordered it and it arrived so quickly and
01:23no Customs which is kind of crazy cuz
01:26remember how much Customs was on Kylie
01:28swim 15 $55 of Customs on it normally
01:33when reviewing Brands we do dive into
01:35ethics and sustainability because I feel
01:37like consumers deserve to know what's
01:38going on in a brand but since I already
01:40reviewed Kai I'm not going to get into
01:42it again because it's the same thing
01:44nothing new to report now also a week
01:46after this launch a lot of these items
01:48are still in stock the entire launch is
01:50available in four different colors there
01:52is a black a brown a red and an orange I
01:55honestly liked the color combinations
01:57from Kylie swim More Than This launch
02:00but this one's a little bit more what's
02:06word Bland but in a good way they're
02:09really not that Cutting Edge that they
02:10would be Niche they're pretty basic I
02:13like that and Kylie launched four
02:14different bikini tops plus a strapless
02:17kind of like tube shirt six different
02:19bottoms plus a Minik skirt to cover and
02:21even three one pieces now Kylie swim did
02:25have one pieces but I feel like they
02:27defeated the purpose of a one piece
02:29because I don't know about you but when
02:30I'm wearing a one piece I'm like I'd
02:32like to cover up a little bit and these
02:33one pieces I feel like will deliver on
02:36this and then there also was a whole
02:37collection of coverups I didn't really
02:39get into that because I was more curious
02:41about the swimwear now as far as pricing
02:43is concerned I would say it's more of a
02:45highend swimsuit the tops are priced
02:47from $56 Canadian to $90 the bottoms are
02:5153 to 56 so not like Frankie bikinis
02:54$100 a piece but still pretty pricey
02:57under details it says four-way stretch
03:03lined can we just do a round of
03:06applause Kylie has come so far we went
03:09from an unlined thin yellow swimsuit we
03:13all remember it to a lined
03:16swimsuit that's growth okay I am most
03:20critical of companies that are made by
03:22famous people who are billionaires
03:24because I'm like this better be amazing
03:27you know if you're going to slap your
03:28name on it and you know all your fans
03:30are going to love it and they're going
03:31to buy it because it's you at least give
03:33them a fantastic product so that's what
03:35I'm hoping this is because Kylie swim
03:37was not bad so I think we have chit
03:38chated enough let's get into trying them
03:43on now my orders came in two packages
03:46and it's not because they shipped
03:47separately it's because there's a
03:4910piece maximum on each order so I had
03:52to place two orders which is fine they
03:54limit the amount that you can buy I had
03:56to buy more than 10 pieces for the sake
03:58of this video by by the way no normally
04:01I wouldn't rush out and buy these
04:02swimsuits but I know there's going to be
04:04a ton of eyes on this and I just want to
04:06do the review so I can waste my money so
04:10you don't have to waste yours I think
04:11we've been saying that on the channel
04:12for like 9 years but seriously let me
04:15risk my credit card so you don't have to
04:17trust me I'll give you the full scoop
04:19this bag is made with 50% recycled
04:21material and filled with 100% awesome
04:25okay Kylie I mean I can't lie I do like
04:27that okay so these are definitely the
04:30same as skims this looks exactly like
04:32skims but it has the kai on the top
04:34which I would say is a pretty major
04:36upgrade from the last Kylie swim bags
04:38these ones were plastic and they had
04:40like a full heavyduty zipper I much
04:43prefer this here are all four of the
04:45color options so we have the orange the
04:47red black and brown it's definitely very
04:50like fiery colors okay we're having an
04:53interesting thing going on now the
04:55high-rise Bikini Bottom which I can't
04:57say Bikini Bottom which without think a
05:00but I ordered one of these but they sent
05:03two so while they were packing they must
05:05have just accidentally thrown two of
05:07these in which I would much rather get
05:09two and return one than get my order and
05:11something's missing so an extra so this
05:15is the scoop neck bikini top this was
05:18$62 Canadian and I am happy to report it
05:24lined two layers let me check the
05:27stitching because I kind of remember
05:29there was there's a lot about the
05:30stitching errors this one's looking
05:33pretty good now this is kind of personal
05:35preference but I prefer my tops to have
05:37a layer of padding not like push-up
05:40padding just a layer so if I'm cold it's
05:42not like it's just my own preference I
05:45know not everybody agrees but at the
05:47very least it would be awesome for there
05:48to be a spot where you can put it or
05:50that it's sold with that in and then you
05:52can take it out just gives more options
05:54whereas this is just there's nothing and
05:57I don't think there's anywhere where you
05:58can put it in cuz it's all sewn shut and
06:00then we have these to go with the
06:02highrise Bikini Bottom now there are the
06:05high-rise and there's also the lowrise
06:06which we'll get into in a minute
06:08hopefully no major surprises but let's
06:09try it on swimsuit number one it's been
06:13a minute since I did a swim video the
06:15older I get the less I want to do a swim
06:17video it's like I want to review the
06:19swimwear but then I remember it means I
06:21have to do this the material is very
06:23soft and I kind of expected this like
06:26highrise Zone to be pinching in the
06:28sides but because the fabric is so
06:30buttery soft it's not pinching at all as
06:33I move around a little bit the top does
06:34kind of want to slide up because I have
06:36no boobage to hold it down
06:39but that's kind of normal for me the
06:42double layer of fabric is definitely
06:44making the lack of padding less of an
06:46issue and also the room is
06:4926° it's not cold in here basically I am
06:52going to show you the back brace
06:55yourself this is my butt welcome to my
06:58butt honestly it's cheekier than I
07:00thought it was going to be but not too
07:03much okay I really like this I like it
07:06more than I thought I was going to I
07:08could actually see myself wearing it
07:12swim this is a mesh mini swim dress it's
07:16like a swim cover where it's more opaque
07:18on the top and then mesh the whole way
07:20through a great kind of like beach
07:22coverup option or for swimming you could
07:24wear this this is sort of the most
07:26risque most skin bikini bottom that they
07:30sell it's the rouched Thai Bikini Bottom
07:33you can kind of tell that it's going to
07:35be the most showing because the front
07:37and the back are the same size now big
07:40critique I had for Kylie swim was this
07:44crotch area for lack of a better word
07:47was way too thin like to the point where
07:49I was like what and actually the sewing
07:52down by the crotch area is a little bit
07:54strange do you know when you're closing
07:56up a seam but you can't like flip it the
07:58right side out and close it so you just
08:00have to kind of create something like
08:02this this is right in sort of like the
08:04gusset Zone but we must test the crotch
08:07Zone to see okay here's the kai swim
08:11area in question I'm going to pull out
08:14the cursed Kylie swim that I keep for
08:17reference on everything wrong with
08:19swimsuits I literally can't believe this
08:21was even on the market okay with peace
08:24and love this extra inch inch and a half
08:28is great thank you for that going to use
08:30one of my swimsuits as a reference point
08:33this is kind of like what I prefer Kai
08:38smaller but not too bad so yeah I would
08:41say based on this it's come a long way
08:43not at full coverage but I feel like it
08:45doesn't need to be especially cuz this
08:47specific style is one of the more low
08:49coverage options just glad to see it was
08:52more than this same top different
08:55bottoms this is the most risky bottoms
08:57on the site I think I know why now that
08:59I have it on it's just very like it's a
09:01string whole butt alert check completely
09:05out interestingly pretty comfortable
09:07though and I will say this tie up on one
09:09side usually it's like a tie on one side
09:11and a tie on the other I kind of like
09:12the one side I don't know why oh and I
09:15almost forgot this is the swimsuit that
09:16had the gusset threading issue I can't
09:20feel it now let's just say I'm wearing
09:22this swimsuit and I'm starting to feel
09:23like I'm bearing all and I want to cover
09:25up a little I'm going to pull it all the
09:27way oh my gosh it's kind of sporty and
09:30cute I don't know if the intention was
09:32for this to just be able to be the swim
09:35top it feels not thick enough to be that
09:39but maybe that was the intention I kind
09:40of like it actually okay moving from the
09:42RIS bottoms we're going to go to the
09:44most full coverage bottoms would you
09:47have expected Kylie to launch
09:49these this is like a high-waisted
09:52decently full coverage on the back not
09:54completely full it's still going to be a
09:55teeny bit cheeky but this is the
09:57high-waist bikini bottom and I'm
10:00obsessed with this this is exactly what
10:03I want it's cute let me see if the
10:05gusset has the same no see this one's
10:08this one's fine let me show you the
10:10difference this is kind of how it should
10:12look there sort of like the seam is on
10:14the interior so it looks clean from the
10:17outside this is what this one looks like
10:19so not like a huge deal but it's
10:21something that I do notice because you
10:22know you're paying a lot of money you
10:24expect a high quality piece and I can't
10:26help but notice it but that's because
10:28I'm really looking at at them but I like
10:30the color I don't think it's going to
10:31look fantastic on my skin but we'll see
10:34now to try on with that we have this
10:36Bando top and I'm actually very pleased
10:39with this because it has that kind of
10:41gummy sticky lining here which when
10:44strapless tops don't have that they can
10:47kind of move around a lot more but this
10:49sticky piece really helps keep it on
10:52it's kind of like fashion tape I will
10:55$56 you could make this just putting it
10:58out there I actually really really long
11:01time ago right when Kylie swim came out
11:03I started a video where I was making
11:05Kylie swim but better it never came to
11:08fruition because it was hard but if you
11:10want to see that let me know you could
11:12encourage it to happen wen't you glad
11:15that I bought this in
11:17orange one thing that I do have a little
11:19bit of an issue with Bandos is when it
11:22pinches in too tight and I thought this
11:24one wasn't going to do that but it kind
11:26of is doing that which is fine it's just
11:28not the most comfortable I still like it
11:31and I'm glad it has that gummy bit cuz
11:32it really doesn't feel I'm jumping
11:35around I'm testing it it doesn't feel
11:37like it's going to fall off as for these
11:39bottoms these are cute okay they're good
11:42coverage on the back great coverage on
11:45the front I could just splash around a
11:47pool in this like I think this is nice I
11:50think it looks cute and sporty because
11:52here I am in Orange a vision in Orange
11:56these are the classic bikini bottoms now
11:58these are kind of kind of like going to
12:00be a little thy I actually really like
12:03they have an adjustable almost like a
12:04bra strap but on the side you don't see
12:07that all the time and I think it's good
12:08for adjustability and then we have the
12:11micro triangle bikini probably an Ode to
12:14the micro thong from skims which we have
12:16reviewed to my demise it is micro
12:20because I have very small boobs and this
12:22is going to be small on me little alone
12:25if you're Waltzing around with like
12:26Double D's this is going to be a going
12:29concern and I really like that Kylie
12:31gave us some more full coverage options
12:34and then also gave some not full
12:37coverage I'm just realizing I didn't buy
12:44pieces I could have swore I bought
12:48them I was in such a flurry while I was
12:50ordering them and they're not even sold
12:52out it took me to this moment to
12:55discover I didn't even get those they're
12:57$125 my guess is they also don't have
13:00any like padding my favorite is
13:01definitely the one shoulder okay well
13:03that sucks okay well we still have a ton
13:05of pieces to get into even without the
13:08one pieces okay this is definitely the
13:10most risky one I don't want to move too
13:13much because this is you two right if
13:15you see the Subscribe button pop up at
13:17all hit that subscribe button but also
13:20just know we're censoring something now
13:22keep in mind I have no boobage and this
13:26is what this top looks on me keep that
13:28in mind cuz it's covering enough on me
13:30but no boobage now the bottoms I like
13:34the adjustability of the bottoms these
13:36are definitely um fullon thong risking
13:39it all I'm glad that this was an option
13:41in the collection but if I was
13:43purchasing for myself I probably
13:45wouldn't need this one in particular I
13:49prefer the others so we tried the
13:50high-rise Bikini Bottom this is the low
13:53rise see how many options of bottoms
13:55there are this one's quite nice and in
13:57the black color I also got the little
14:03skirt and then this corset swim top
14:07which I thought this was really cool so
14:10it's a zipper and then it has a clasp
14:12which I think is a really good idea
14:14because then it doesn't just like force
14:15itself open on the website it had this
14:18over top of bikinis but you could
14:21probably wear it on its own as well and
14:23it literally has boning in it like it's
14:26a corset here are some bottoms with a
14:28little bit more coverage more coverage
14:30on the front more coverage on the back
14:32as you can see you can really tell the
14:34difference when I have them on one
14:36before the other I probably should have
14:38got these in a medium not a small
14:40they're just pinching a little bit and
14:42you can always tell with swimwear when
14:43it pinches because it kind of like
14:46pushes it out do you know what I'm
14:48saying I can't wait any longer I have to
14:51try this I'm so curious about it so you
14:54just do it up like this it feels like
14:57I'm going to burst it's always hard to
14:59know like am I supposed to size up or is
15:01it just like supposed to be that or with
15:03Kai like last time is it just sized
15:06wrong you know cuz last time we had air
15:09oh my gosh this is horrible ew what
15:12excuse me okay first of all I love the
15:14idea but the edges are all messed up
15:17like if you look at the bottom it's like
15:19poking out here and here anywhere where
15:21there's boning it's like not a perfect
15:24line and up here just looks so messy
15:27honestly like this I liked the chain
15:30part but it just it looks unfinished at
15:33the top oh my gosh this is this what it
15:35looked like on the website I'm straight
15:37up confused cuz I was actually excited
15:39about this piece before you ask it
15:41doesn't really feel like a waist trainer
15:43or anything like that okay looking at it
15:46on the model which they are serving it
15:49does not look like that oh my gosh no
15:51this does not look the same at all wait
15:54do I have it on backwards show me the
15:56back no I have it on the right way this
15:58doesn't do look anything like the
16:00picture in the picture it actually looks
16:02finished and the zipper goes all the way
16:03to the Top This needs work okay this is
16:06kind of the first thing that I'm like
16:07this isn't right not to mention this is
16:10$90 and then I did buy one full cover up
16:13it's so big and the mesh is very soft
16:16yeah it's just like a big long almost
16:18like skims dress but mesh and for
16:21swimming also this I don't know if I've
16:23mentioned but pretty much everything's
16:24made in China from what I'm seeing
16:26anyways on the tags this a full mesh
16:30lurk usually I don't wear coverups
16:32usually I'll just be that person with
16:34like shorts on with like a giant wet
16:37mark on the butt but this is quite
16:39luxurious you know like when you can go
16:42swimming at 10:00 and then a fancy lunch
16:45at noon my intrusive thoughts are
16:47telling me I could make this I don't
16:49even know if I'd want to cuz I don't
16:50think I need it but I think I could also
16:52it goes right to the
16:54floor a High School Musical jump to show
17:01okay these types of bottom these are the
17:02lowrise boy short I love this type of
17:05bottom I think it's so cute so
17:07flattering I got it in the red I think
17:09it's going to be a little bootylicious
17:11on the back unfortunately I'm going to
17:13be bearing all in this
17:14video so I think these types of bottoms
17:17are cute and these are kind of harder to
17:19find so I like that Kylie launched it
17:21and this top is called the classic
17:23triangle top it has adjustable straps
17:25this is probably my favorite one and I
17:28probably will make a slight little
17:29incision in it and put padding in cuz I
17:31could actually see myself wearing this
17:34last swimsuit we've got the red I said
17:37it before I'll say it again boy shorts I
17:40do like this style it's like High
17:42coverage but also not full coverage I
17:45think it's so cute and I just find them
17:46to be so incredibly comfortable when
17:49playing in the water this top from a
17:50distance looks really pretty I feel but
17:52when I get up close I'm kind of like why
17:55is it doing that it feels like I'm
17:57wearing a bullet bra why does the fabric
17:59have to do that like that's not me I
18:02know why it's happening because there's
18:03kind of like a pucker right here but I
18:05don't like what the result is I do kind
18:08of find with these tops for some reason
18:11they feel like they're going to fly off
18:12when I jump in water I think I might
18:14need to put that to the test keep your
18:16eyes peeled for that red swimsuits are
18:19kind of a classic I feel like they look
18:20good on everyone they're fun they're a
18:30okay I have a few things to say first of
18:32all I was impressed with the fabric it's
18:35buttery soft and it feels quality I
18:37really really like the amount of options
18:40there are for bottoms you had the more
18:42thong style all the way to the
18:44high-waisted more full coverage none of
18:46them were like full full coverage but
18:48they were pretty good especially if I'm
18:50comparing it to Kylie swim which I can't
18:52help but have that playing on repeat in
18:54my head and it's probably making me like
18:57these way more because that was so bad
19:00the one thing I'll say that Kylie swim
19:01had the upper hand on is I liked the
19:04colors more I'm a pink lover and I wish
19:07that there was like a hot pink option
19:09but I also like that they went more
19:11standard colors not the most expensive
19:14far from the least expensive but if you
19:17love Kylie and you want to support her
19:18and you're looking for new swimsuits and
19:20you're not really concerned about how
19:22they're made or what fibers they're made
19:25of I think they were nice were they
19:27amazing no but they were good if you
19:30made it to the end of this video comment
19:31the Frog emoji that way there can just
19:33be a bunch of frogs in the comments and
19:35nobody knows why except for the real
19:37ones who made it this far thank you for
