00:36sells courses so they're probably making
00:37a lot more than that so if you do this
00:40which niche should you choose i
00:41recommend anything related to health
00:43wealth relationships or happiness and
00:46all three channels that i just shared
00:47with you are in sub niches related to
00:49these topics and how are these channels
00:51making videos without showing their face
00:53they're finding video ideas writing a
00:56script doing a voiceover and using a
00:58whiteboard animation software to
01:00generate these videos now how can you
01:02find video ideas simply go to some of
01:04the top channels within your niche that
01:06are already doing what you want to do
01:08successfully sorting their videos by
01:10their most popular uploads and then
01:12write these down for ideas then search
01:14your niche on youtube and see what comes
01:16up and then write these down for ideas
01:18and finally you can use a software like
01:20vid iq to search your niche and see
01:22which keywords come up that have a high
01:24amount of search volume and a low
01:26competition and finally write down these
01:28ideas as well now you should have a list
01:30of at least 30 different video ideas
01:33awesome job it's time to start making
01:35them now which really isn't that hard at
01:37all here's how to do it the first step
01:39is to write the scripts simply open up
01:41google docs and another tab in google
01:43search your video idea and open up some
01:45of the first articles and youtube videos
01:47that come up go through each article and
01:50youtube video making notes of the main
01:52points to talk about then expand on
01:54these points and make sure to write them
01:55in your own words i recommend making
01:58your scripts at least 2 000 words long
02:00to make sure that your finished video is
02:02at least 10 minutes long but it's ok if
02:04some are shorter or longer just take the
02:06amount of words it takes you to give as
02:08much value as you possibly can give now
02:10value can be entertainment value or
02:12educational value if you don't want to
02:14write the scripts yourself you can pay
02:16someone on upwork or fiverr to do it for
02:18you for 10 to 30 dollars make sure to
02:20check all your scripts with a website
02:22called copyscape to make sure they're
02:24100 unique whether you write them
02:26yourself or you pay someone else to do
02:28it for you now it's time to record your
02:30voiceover and no you don't need a
02:32professional microphone to do this you
02:34can simply use the voice recording app
02:36on your phone or you can use a better
02:38mic like a blue yeti nano plugged into
02:40your computer then i recommend a free
02:42software called audacity for recording
02:44your voiceover and it's okay if you make
02:46mistakes while you're recording simply
02:48repeat the line and then you can use
02:49audacity to remove those mistakes if you
02:52don't want to record the voice over
02:53yourself you can pay someone on either
02:55upwork or fiverr to do it for you for 10
02:57to 15 dollars the next step is to use
02:59the whiteboard animation software to
03:01make your videos you can use videoscribe
03:04to do this you can import the file of
03:06your voiceover and then drag and drop
03:08elements and text relating to what
03:10you're talking about and i recommend
03:11changing what's on the screen at least
03:13every 6 to 10 seconds to make sure you
03:16keep people's attention so that your
03:17video performs good also make sure any
03:20music that you use is very quiet in the
03:22background of your video so it doesn't
03:24interrupt what you're talking about and
03:26so you can hear your voice clearly and
03:28if you don't want to put together the
03:29whiteboard animations yourself you can
03:31pay someone on fiverr or upwork to do
03:33this for you and i would pay anywhere
03:35from 25 to 40 dollars for someone to do
03:37this your video is done now awesome job
03:39now before we upload your video we need
03:41to make sure that you have what's called
03:43a custom thumbnail to make sure that
03:45people actually click to watch your
03:46video you can use an online website
03:48called snappa to make your thumbnail i
03:50recommend seeing what's worked in other
03:52niches and then modeling their
03:54thumbnails don't copy them directly but
03:55model the main elements of what has
03:57worked in your niche if you use text in
03:59your thumbnails make sure to make it
04:01very big and very easy to read and also
04:04make sure to shrink your thumbnail down
04:06to make sure it looks good even at small
04:08sizes and you can clearly see what the
04:10video is about and what's going on i
04:12recommend having a main primary element
04:14that stands out in your thumbnail
04:15whether that's the text whether that's a
04:17person in the thumbnail whether that's
04:18an animated character and at the very
04:20most you can have up to three primary
04:22elements in your thumbnail but if you
04:24have too much people might not click to
04:26watch your videos as much bright colors
04:28and high contrast are good as well and
04:30you can also make use of arrows and
04:32circles to draw in people's attention
04:34now your video is ready to be uploaded
04:36simply upload your video and your custom
04:38thumbnail to youtube and then fill out
04:41the rest of the info for your title i
04:43recommend seeing what other top videos
04:45within your niche have titled their
04:46videos and modeling them and if you can
04:48include a keyword from somewhere like
04:50vidiq within your title that's all the
04:52better but don't worry if you can't your
04:54main focus should be on making sure that
04:56your title is clickable and it's
04:57something people would actually search
04:59for and for your description i recommend
05:01writing a paragraph or two summarizing
05:03your video and making sure to include
05:05some keywords that are written in a
05:07natural way into the description then
05:09under that you can put some links to
05:11other videos on your channel as well as
05:13a short description of your actual
05:15channel within your description and you
05:17can see my description below for an
05:18example of this then fill out your tags
05:21putting keywords related to your video
05:23you can use the chrome extension called
05:25socialblade to see what other keywords
05:27people are using within their tags and
05:29then you can include some of those
05:31within your videos as well but only
05:33include ones that are actually related
05:34to your video fit iq can also really
05:37help with this as well by finding high
05:39search volume low competition tags to
05:41include within your video tags and once
05:43you've done that now you can simply hit
05:45publish and your video is up now do not
05:48worry if your video gets no views within
05:50the first couple days and you might be
05:52asking matt should i be promoting my
05:54videos at all and my answer to that is
05:56that the number one promotion that will
05:58get you the most amount of traffic and
06:00will compound on itself increasing
06:03exponentially is letting youtube promote
06:06your videos for you and you can do this
06:08by optimizing your videos making sure
06:10you're modeling what has already worked
06:12making sure that your videos are at
06:14least as good quality as the other
06:15videos within your niche uploading 33
06:18videos and analyzing and optimizing the
06:20next batch that you upload now if you do
06:22already have other social media
06:23platforms like facebook page or an
06:25instagram account you can feel free to
06:27promote on those platforms as long as
06:29they're in the same niche as your
06:31channel and your video this way you have
06:33the right audience and youtube knows who
06:35to promote your videos too and most of
06:37my channels that have over 100 000
06:39subscribers i don't have a facebook page
06:41or an instagram account and the only
06:43promotion that those videos get is from
06:46youtube itself so just continually
06:48uploading good content focusing on what
06:50we can actually control which is
06:52continually putting up good videos on
06:54our channel and don't promote to your
06:55friends and family unless they're
06:57actually interested in the niche of your
06:59channel now you might be asking matt how
07:01am i going to actually make money doing
07:03this you will make money once you get 4
07:05000 hours of watch time and 1 000
07:07subscribers on your channel and you
07:09might be saying matt won't that take
07:10forever to reach those milestones and
07:13know it can actually happen a lot faster
07:15than you probably think but you need to
07:16make sure that you're optimizing your
07:18channel correctly and i show how to do
07:20that in a few different videos on my
07:21channel and i'll link to those in the
07:23description then you can join what's
07:24called the youtube partner program in
07:26which youtube will put ads on your
07:28videos and then you'll get a cut of that
07:30ad revenue and if your videos are at
07:32least eight minutes long then you can
07:34place multiple ad breaks throughout your
07:36video to multiply the amount of money
07:38that you make i recommend putting ads at
07:40least every couple minutes throughout
07:42your video also to multiply the amount
07:44of money that you make i recommend
07:46signing up for any affiliate programs
07:48relating to your niche and then putting
07:50these affiliate links within your
07:51description i recommend checking
07:53digistore24 and clickbank for products
07:55to promote and you can make much more
07:58doing this than from just ad revenue
08:00also you can make your own online course
08:02like that channel practical psychology
08:04did and it might sound intimidating to
08:05make an entire online course but a
08:07course can literally just be a
08:09collection of your whiteboard videos
08:11teaching a certain topic and you still
08:13don't even need to show your face for
08:14that now you might be saying matt i've
08:16got some videos made but how often
08:18should i be uploading on my channel i
08:19recommend choosing a regular schedule if
08:22you can do one video a day that's the
08:24best that's amazing but if you can't do
08:26that then do three videos a week and if
08:28you can't do that then do one video per
08:30week it's possible to grow your channel
08:31with any of these schedules and there's
08:33examples of giant channels uploading
08:35with each of these different upload
08:37schedules but the best schedule is the
08:39one that you can stick to long term for
08:42example it's way better to upload 10
08:44videos over the course of 10 weeks
08:46instead of uploading 10 videos all in
08:49one day and then uploading nothing for
08:51the rest of the 10 weeks now you might
08:52be saying matt i know how to choose my
08:54niche i know how to generate videos i
08:56know how often to upload but how long
08:59realistically is this going to take me
09:01to get results and to start making money
09:04with this and my answer to that is that
09:06it depends on a lot of factors and keep
09:08in mind that a lot of the top channels
09:10have to upload hundreds of videos onto
09:12their channels before they get big and
09:14consistent results the goal of what i
09:17teach is to upload 33 videos modeling
09:19what's already worked within your niche
09:21and then analyze and optimize for your
09:23next batch of 33 videos and typically i
09:26like to see some type of traction with
09:28one of my videos getting similar views
09:30to another video within my niche in the
09:32first 30 to 60 videos on the channel so
09:36i would look to get some type of
09:37traction by then and the reason that
09:38this strategy works of uploading 33
09:41videos and then analyzing and optimizing
09:43for your next batch is because there's
09:44an actual strategy instead of just
09:46guessing and hoping that something's
09:48going to work that said you can make
09:50money much sooner by selling something
09:52with your channel because that way you
09:54don't have to wait to get monetized on
09:56your channel and that can be done with
09:58affiliate links or selling your own
09:59course and yes this is really possible
10:01to do i have tons of students doing this
10:03i just talked to one of them the other
10:05day who's making between three and five
10:07thousand dollars a month doing this
10:08exact method not even showing their face
10:10and i've gotten millions of subscribers
10:12doing this exact method and i've made
10:14millions of dollars online and i'm
10:16continuing to do it right now now you do
