00:01within this video i want to show you an
00:03actual example channel in a case study
00:06of a channel that's actually doing this
00:08method and how they're doing it so in
00:10this video i'm going to reveal to you
00:12how to potentially make money on youtube
00:14without even making videos and without
00:17ever even showing your face and i've got
00:19a crazy case study to show you within
00:21this video so the case study channel
00:23we're looking at today is a channel
00:25called tech zone tech zone has over 3
00:28million subscribers and they upload
00:29videos talking about different cool
00:31gadgets and technologies that's out
00:33there and this channel gets an
00:36incredible 22 million views per month
00:39and i'm gonna break down exactly how
00:41much they could be making exactly how
00:42they're getting their content created
00:44and exactly how you could potentially do
00:46the same as well now before i do that if
00:49we take a look at any one of their
00:50videos right here we can see that they
00:52just use other people's videos but they
00:54make it transformative and they make it
00:55fair use and they do a voice over on top
00:58of the videos just showing all kinds of
01:00cool technology as you can see ingenious
01:03inventions that'll help you in the event
01:05of a natural disaster in the case of
01:07this video right here and they just make
01:09videos about cool technology so just to
01:11break this down for you guys to show you
01:13exactly how this is working this tech
01:15zone channel right here is getting 20
01:18million views per month and they upload
01:21five videos per week on their channel
01:24and out of these five videos per week i
01:26estimate that it costs about a hundred
01:28and fifty dollars for each video to be
01:30produced now this is from my own
01:32experience in running channels very
01:33similar to this and that would come out
01:35to around three thousand dollars a month
01:37just for content creation
01:39now being incredibly conservative here i
01:42estimate that this channel has a cpm of
01:44around six dollars in fact it's probably
01:47much more than that due to technology
01:49being such a high cpm niche but we're
01:51gonna be conservative we're gonna say a
01:52six dollar cpm and that would bring the
01:55monthly earnings on this channel to a
02:00per month and remember they're probably
02:02making much more than that and that's
02:04not even including any affiliate sales
02:07that they could potentially make as well
02:09just by putting affiliate links to any
02:11of the products that they talk about
02:12within their videos and now you might be
02:14saying matt i don't have three thousand
02:16dollars a month to spend on content
02:18creation so how could i get these videos
02:20produced for cheaper so what i would
02:22recommend doing initially is actually
02:24creating the content yourself and this
02:26is going to consist of going to channels
02:28just like tech zone right here and you
02:30can actually go into any of their videos
02:32and they actually put links to all of
02:34the different products that they show
02:36within their videos as you can see in
02:38the case of this video right here if we
02:40go to the description they have links to
02:42all the different products they show so
02:43what you could potentially do is go to
02:45channels like this see the different
02:46products that they talk about use some
02:48of those products within your own videos
02:50making it in your own way making sure to
02:52do a voiceover making it fair use and
02:54also make sure not to just copy these
02:56videos directly but to use them as
02:58inspiration and model them and this
02:59means writing the scripts in your own
03:01words making sure to run your scripts
03:03through a website called copyscape which
03:05just ensures that they're 100 unique and
03:08also not doing the same exact order of
03:10all the products that are talked about
03:11within any videos that you're modeling
03:14make sure you choose products from
03:15different videos and make it in your own
03:17way to make your own video and once
03:20you've written your script then it's
03:21time to do a voiceover for your video
03:24talking about each of the different
03:25products you're going to show and a
03:27really easy way to make sure that your
03:28videos are at least 10 minutes long
03:30which ensures that you can put multiple
03:31ad breaks throughout the video to make
03:33the most amount of money is by talking
03:35about each product that you show for at
03:37least one minute that way you only have
03:39to talk about 10 products for one minute
03:41each and there you go you have a 10
03:43minute video now for actually recording
03:45voiceovers i recommend just getting a
03:47cheap microphone like this one right
03:48here which is called a zoom h1 and then
03:51i'm using a 30 sony microphone right
03:54here to record for this video that i'm
03:56recording right now and a free option is
03:58just to use your mobile phone to record
04:00voiceovers the quality probably won't be
04:02as good but it's a place to start and
04:04that's actually where i started and i
04:06got to my first three thousand dollars a
04:08month doing so and then now it's time to
04:10edit your videos now for editing your
04:12videos you can use a free software like
04:14open shot shot cut or hit film express
04:17or you can use my personal favorite paid
04:19editor which is called powerdirector and
04:21i recommend making sure that you only
04:22show each clip of a particular product
04:25or image for less than seven seconds
04:27each this actually does a couple things
04:29number one it potentially makes it less
04:31likely to deal with copyright stuff and
04:32number two it helps keep people's
04:34attention and also i recommend putting
04:36titles throughout your video to help
04:38keep people's attention so for example
04:40if you're talking about specs of a
04:41particular tech product then you can
04:43just put a title on screen is showing
04:45that now you might be saying matt making
04:47a hundred and thirty thousand dollars a
04:48month would be incredible but what if i
04:50were to tell you that the person who's
04:52behind this channel is likely making way
04:55more than that and that's by doing this
04:58secret technique that i'm about to share
05:00with you so what i just showed you was
05:01the english version of the tech zone
05:03channel which could very well be an
05:06independently operating business in of
05:08itself however that's just the english
05:11version the people behind this channel
05:13also have tech zone in spanish german
05:17russian portuguese and more and all of
05:20these translated versions of tech zone
05:23are getting a ton of views just as well
05:26as the english version and translated
05:28videos are typically much cheaper to
05:29have produced due to the fact that you
05:31already have the content from the
05:33english video and then i recommend
05:34paying around four dollars and fifty
05:36cents per minute to have the video
05:38translated and cover any english text in
05:40the video with the translated version of
05:42that title and then doing a native
05:44language voiceover over the video and
05:47syncing it up and if each of your videos
05:49is on average 10 minutes long multiply
05:51that by four dollars and fifty cents per
05:53minute that would only be forty five
05:55dollars per video as opposed to the 150
05:58that you're initially spending to have
05:59the initial english version produced so
06:01here's the spanish version of tech zone
06:04which actually has more subscribers than
06:06the english version with almost 5
06:08million subscribers and this channel
06:10pulls in over 10 million views per month
06:12then we have the german version of the
06:14channel right here we have the
06:16portuguese version right here which
06:18pulls in an extra six million views a
06:20month and finally we have the russian
06:23version right here and these were just
06:25the versions of the channel that i could
06:27actually find i'm sure that the person
06:29behind this channel is running tons of
06:31more versions of tech zone as well as
06:33other channels in different niches and i
06:35would guess that this operation and this
06:38youtube empire right here is pulling in
06:40well over a million dollars per month in
06:43revenue which is absolutely crazy and if
06:46you go ahead and do this method please
06:48make sure to put any affiliate links to
06:51any products that you talk about in the
06:53description of your videos that right
06:55there will likely make you a lot of
06:56money and in many cases just as much if
06:59not more than ad revenue alone so make
07:02sure you don't make the mistake that
07:03this channel is doing right here by not
07:05putting in affiliate links these are
07:07just links to the actual products that
07:09they're talking about make sure you get
07:11affiliate links for example if you're
07:12talking about like amazon products or
07:14something like that make sure you put
07:16those within the description so if
