00:18me through a lot tape it's a lot of

00:20people's favorite drink what is a latte

00:23and how we gonna make one at home so a

00:25latte is traditionally a 10 to 12 ounce

00:28drink that's made from espresso and

00:32steamed milk and some places it might be

00:3416 ounces up to 20 ounces but the

00:37principle remains the same you're just

00:40adding espresso and milk together it's a

00:42really simple drink and it's really

00:44delicious so what I'm gonna do is I'm

00:47gonna pull my normal amount of espresso

00:50I'm just adding more milk than normal so

00:54I'm gonna do just under 2 ounces of

00:56brewed espresso and then about 10 ounces

00:59of milk will go into this drink for me

01:02so for this I'm gonna steam it pretty

01:05hot my milk is gonna get up to about 160

01:07degrees you can kind of take it from

01:10there depending on what you like the

01:12idea is this is a big cup you're gonna

01:15be sipping on it for a while so you're

01:17gonna want it to be on the hotter end of

01:19the spectrum so it stays hot longer and

01:21you can enjoy it as much as possible so

01:24I'm gonna go ahead and get started on it

01:41so I am putting about 16 and a half

01:45grams of ground coffee into my

01:49portafilter it should be pretty on par

01:52with a home machine I'm going to pull

01:59the espresso directly into my mug I'm

02:08gonna steam my latte note and I'm

02:12looking for just little gentle sounds

02:15like paper tearing I'm gonna heat my

02:21milk until it feels just uncomfortable

03:05steamed milk over here and I'm gonna go

03:08ahead and pour it in I'm gonna tilt my

03:09cup go about three or four inches above

03:12it just begin to fill it up at first

03:17full gonna stop and I'm gonna get as

03:20close as I can in there with my pitcher
