00:18different youtube channels and i've
00:19grown channels to over a million
00:22without ever showing my face and i have
00:24other multiple channels with over a
00:26hundred thousand subscribers and have
00:27you ever watched a youtube channel in
00:29which the person running the channel
00:31never got behind a camera or didn't show
00:34their face and the answer to that
00:35question is more than likely yes
00:37but i bet you didn't know that some of
00:39these channels could be making a lot
00:41more money than you probably think
00:43and at this point you might be saying
00:44matt i don't believe you i need an
00:47here's a channel that's actually doing
00:49this that doesn't even show their face
00:52or get on camera and they're estimated
00:54to be making between 1.6 000
00:57and twenty four point nine thousand
01:00and that's literally just from ad
01:03in this video today i'm going to be
01:04showing you some secret ways to make a
01:06lot more money than just
01:08ad revenue but i would guess they're
01:09making on the higher end of these two
01:12based off of running similar channels so
01:14how exactly is this channel making money
01:17and more importantly how can you earn
01:20without even making videos first let me
01:23break it down into a three-step process
01:25and then i'll go over exactly what you
01:27need to do to make this happen
01:29and step one is to come up with video
01:32step two is to have a video creation
01:36generate the videos for you and finally
01:40is to upload and optimize the finished
01:43now before we come up with any video
01:45ideas we first need a niche
01:47or a category of content that we will
01:51so what are some good niches some good
01:52ones are the luxury niche
01:54the tech niche the animal niche the
01:56psychology niche the lifehack niche
01:59the top 10 niche and the health niche
02:02so for the purpose of this example let's
02:05the luxury niche and why would we choose
02:08this niche over all the different
02:09categories of content
02:11that we could do on youtube well one of
02:13the reasons is because this niche
02:15the luxury niche or the financial niche
02:17is what i would consider to be a high
02:20niche meaning you'll make a lot more per
02:24from ad revenue as opposed to other
02:27and also there's a secret way that we're
02:29gonna be able to make a lot more money
02:31in this niche that i'm gonna be going
02:33later in this video but first of all how
02:37youtube pay you do you get paid based on
02:39how many subscribers you have
02:41or how many views you're getting not
02:43exactly so youtube will pay you based
02:45off a variety of factors
02:47but first you must get in something
02:49called the youtube partner
02:50program which requires that you get 4
02:52000 hours of watch time
02:54and 1 000 subscribers on your channel
02:57that might seem like a lot but i have
02:59some videos on my channel that'll help
03:00you meet these requirements
03:02as soon as possible and in some cases in
03:05under 30 days so once you're a part of
03:08the youtube partner program
03:10youtube will put ads on your videos and
03:12pay you for every single time
03:14someone watches an ad on your video and
03:17i'm sure you've seen ads on youtube
03:19and every single time you watch an ad on
03:22a video the owner of that channel
03:24is making money and in some cases it can
03:27be a lot more money than you probably
03:29so now let's get back to how exactly we
03:31can earn money from youtube
03:33without even making videos so we've got
03:35our niche which in this case is the
03:38and now it's time to come up with a name
03:41channel and if you want to come up with
03:43an awesome name super fast
03:45check out my video that will help you
03:46come up with a name for your youtube
03:49channel but in this case let's say that
03:50we were to name our youtube channel
03:52luxury lion so now it's time to actually
03:56the channel and all you need is one
03:58google account and you can make as many
04:00youtube channels as you want under that
04:02single google account
04:03so now that you've made your youtube
04:05channel it's time to make it look
04:07professional and that includes putting a
04:09logo and channel art
04:10on your channel and you can use a
04:13completely free image editor like
04:14paint.net if you're on windows or snappa
04:17if you're on either windows or mac or
04:19you can literally just pay someone five
04:22to make a professional looking channel
04:24art and logo so now it's time to come up
04:28different video ideas and why 33
04:31because i've observed 33 uploads to be
04:33the average amount of uploads that i
04:35upload on my youtube channels until one
04:37of them starts to get traction and
04:39obviously this can differ a lot between
04:41different youtube channels that i run
04:43sometimes i have channels take off after
04:45only uploading a couple videos and
04:46sometimes i have channels take off after
04:48uploading 50 or even more videos
04:51and if you're not doing this correctly
04:53some people will never have their
04:55at all and i want to make sure i'm
04:57giving you the best chance possible so
04:59that your channel will blow up and i
05:00want to make sure i'm helping you as
05:03to give you the best chances of blowing
05:05up so we need 33 different video ideas
05:08but how exactly do we get these video
05:10ideas well i recommend going to big
05:13in your niche which in our case is a
05:15luxury niche so we can go to channels
05:19or a lux and then i recommend taking a
05:21look at their most popular uploads
05:23to see what's working on their channels
05:25and then i recommend taking notes on
05:27what's working on their channels
05:29because if it worked once there's a very
05:31good chance it'll work
05:32again and then along with doing this as
05:34well you can go to youtube
05:36and you can key in your niche in the
05:38search bar and then sort the uploads by
05:40the most popular uploads
05:42uploaded in the last week the last month
05:46and make sure as well that these are
05:49to make sure that it's not just a fad
05:51that will die out immediately
05:52so once we have our list of 33 different
05:56now it's time to put together our video
06:00machine so the goal with the video
06:03is to put a video idea in one end of the
06:06and to get a finished video out the
06:09other end and the components and people
06:10that make up a video creation machine
06:13are one the scriptwriter two the
06:17three the video editor and finally for
06:20the thumbnail designer
06:21so the only steps that you need to do in
06:25are coming up with video ideas and then
06:28optimizing the finished videos and
06:30that's actually what i do within my
06:33and that's how i'm able to run nine
06:35different youtube channels eight of
06:37which i don't even show my face on and i
06:39only work on those channels
06:40about two hours a day so where can you
06:44each of these jobs i recommend
06:47and fiverr.com and another option is to
06:50one person to do the entire video
06:54for a given youtube channel and when
06:56you're hiring someone whether it be a
06:58script writer a voiceover artist or a
07:00video editor whatever job you're hiring
07:03make sure to hire them as a test at
07:06just for one video as a test and then
07:08make sure that's good
07:10and do a couple more videos as a test
07:12until actually hiring them long term
07:14and then start paying them on a weekly
07:16basis and then eventually start paying
07:18them on a monthly basis
07:20and when you start paying them on a
07:22monthly basis you'll be able to
07:23negotiate the rates down and pay a lot
07:26less per video so how much should you
07:29i recommend paying between 25 and 80
07:3310 minute video and like i said the more
07:35work that you can give people
07:37the more you can typically negotiate the
07:39cost down but what if you don't have
07:40any upfront money to invest well you can
07:44on youtube without ever getting in front
07:46of a camera and without ever showing
07:49by generating the content yourself and
07:51that's really the true beauty of this
07:54is that you can generate the videos
07:56yourself if you want and then eventually
07:58when you do start making money
08:00you can pay other people to make the
08:02videos for you and that's exactly what i
08:04and if you're going to be generating the
08:05videos yourself you can literally just
08:07record voiceovers using your phone
08:09that's actually what i did when i was
08:11starting out but i was at the point of
08:13making over nine thousand dollars a
08:15from my youtube channels more than my
08:17parents more than my friends and today i
08:19make over thirty thousand dollars a
08:22just from ad revenue alone and a lot
08:25more from some other sources that we're
08:26going to be getting into
08:27in this video so you can either use your
08:30phone to do voiceovers
08:31or you can pick up a cheap microphone
08:33like this this is the blue yeti nano
08:36and you can just get a cheap microphone
08:37plug it into your computer and do it
08:40so now what about video editing how can
08:41you edit your videos for free
08:43without spending an arm and a leg on a
08:45video editor well i recommend a
08:47completely free video editing software
08:49called open shot that you can find at
08:51openshot.org and it's free for both mac
08:54and pc now what about doing this on a
08:56phone can you do this if you're using
08:59a phone and the answer is yes you can
09:02and you can do that by using a
09:03completely free app called powerdirector
09:06that's free for both ios and
09:08android devices now what about getting
09:11in your youtube videos how can you get
09:13content and use them in your videos
09:16without having to worry about copyright
09:17or anything that goes with that
09:19well you can use completely free
09:21websites like pixabay.com
09:23or pexels.com which have completely free
09:27and pictures that you can use to use
09:30your videos and if you do have a budget
09:32to do this you can also use a website
09:34called storyblocks.com
09:36that has even more videos and pictures
09:39and they do cost money but in my opinion
09:41it's well worth it and another option is
09:43to use videos directly
09:45from youtube and if you're going to be
09:46doing this make sure that you read up
09:48and you abide by the terms of fair use
09:50that youtube lays out and also here's a
09:53quick bonus tip for doing this as well
09:55to help you not run into any copyright
09:58first of all make sure that you run all
10:00of your scripts whether you wrote them
10:02yourself or you paid someone else to
10:03write the scripts for you
10:05make sure that you run all of your
10:06scripts through a website called
10:09this will make sure that there's no
10:11copyright infringement in any of your
10:13and you want to make sure that your
10:15scripts are completely unique
10:17and original and also when it comes to
10:19using music in your videos
10:20i recommend using the youtube audio
10:23library and then sorting the music
10:25by no attribution required meaning you
10:27can literally just download the songs
10:29and use them in your videos for
10:31completely free and that way you don't
10:34any copyright issues and you can still
10:36make money on youtube
10:37without even making videos or showing
10:40now let's talk about making thumbnails
10:44videos so thumbnails are incredibly
10:46important and if you don't know what the
10:48it's the image that appears on youtube
10:50videos before you actually click to
10:52watch the video and it's really
10:54that you make your thumbnails as
10:56appealing as possible and some ways to
10:58do that to increase what is called the
11:01or the percentage of people who click to
11:04is to incorporate a lot of human emotion
11:06whenever possible in your thumbnails
11:08and also to include things like red
11:12in your thumbnails while still trying to
11:14keep it as simple as possible
11:16and another thing you can do is model
11:18what's already working on youtube
11:20in terms of thumbnails that doesn't mean
11:22to straight out copy what's working
11:24but instead to look at it and think
11:26about how you can do that in
11:27your own way by looking at already viral
11:30your niche and as for making thumbnails
11:32here's some completely free softwares
11:34you can use if you're on windows you can
11:37if you're on mac you can use an online
11:39software called snappa
11:41and if you're doing this on your phone
11:42you can use an app called pixel lab and
11:44i have videos on my youtube channel
11:46talking about exactly
11:47how you can make youtube thumbnails
11:49directly on your phone
11:51so now that you've got your 33 different
11:54now what do you do do you just upload
11:56them all to youtube at once
11:58no you want to make sure that you
11:59schedule your uploads one video to go up
12:02per day and if you can't keep up with
12:04that schedule and you can't produce one
12:07that's no problem at all then i
12:08recommend uploading three videos a week
12:11and i understand in some circumstances
12:13it's even hard to do that for example if
12:15you were doing animation videos or
12:17something like that where it takes a
12:18long time to make each video
12:20then i would recommend uploading a video
12:23but the more videos you upload the
12:25bigger chance you have of having one
12:28and go viral now if you were to just
12:30upload a bunch of videos to youtube and
12:32they got no views whatsoever
12:34would that just be a waste of time and
12:36the answer is yes that would be a waste
12:39but i want to make sure you're not
12:40wasting your time and that you can get
12:42as many views as possible on
12:44your channel and potentially start
12:46making money from youtube
12:48without even making videos and the way
12:50we do that is by optimizing
12:52our videos and in order to optimize our
12:54videos we're going to want to make sure
12:56we have a good title
12:57description tags thumbnail
13:00and subtitles and if you want to get the
13:02best tags and keywords and everything on
13:06to make sure your videos are as
13:07optimized as possible i recommend a
13:09completely free chrome extension called
13:12and i'll leave a link down below where
13:13you can get it so you want to include
13:15keywords that vid iq suggests in your
13:17title and description
13:19and you want to make sure that they're
13:20written in as natural of a way
13:22as possible and also in terms of your
13:24title you want to ask yourself if your
13:27actually a searchable term so many
13:29people titled their videos wrong
13:31and you want to make sure to think about
13:33it from a viewer's perspective
13:34if i search this term on youtube if i
13:37search my exact title
13:38would that even make sense would a
13:40viewer actually be searching this term
13:42and this will help you get search
13:43traffic and then also eventually
13:45suggested video traffic
13:47where your video will appear in the
13:48suggested bar of already popular videos
13:51and then the next step to make sure that
13:53your channel takes off as much as
13:55is to analyze and optimize based off the
13:58analytics and the way we do that is by
14:00going into our youtube analytics
14:02and taking a look at all the amazing
14:06gives us and the things we're going to
14:07want to look at are our click-through
14:10our audience retention and our watch
14:13when it comes to click-through rate
14:14youtube tells us that the average
14:16click-through rate on youtube
14:18for 80 of videos that are on youtube is
14:21between two and five percent
14:23so if we can beat that and we can get at
14:25least a six percent click-through rate
14:27on our youtube videos
14:28it's gonna help our videos get a ton of
14:30views so always be shooting for a six
14:32percent click-through rate
14:34or at least better than your channel
14:36average and then also look at your
14:37audience retention graphs on
14:39individual videos that you uploaded i
14:41recommend taking a look at some of your
14:43most popular uploads
14:44and seeing what caused those videos to
14:47be your most popular
14:49videos and you can do this by going into
14:50your audience retention graphs in your
14:53and youtube will literally show you
14:56points in your video in which more
14:58and points in your video in which people
15:00are clicking off and as you watch your
15:02video and take a look at these graphs
15:04you want to think to yourself why are
15:06more people watching at this point
15:08and why are less people watching at this
15:10point whatever you're doing
15:11at that point cut that out and never do
15:13that again in future videos
15:15and whatever you're doing in the point
15:16that causes audience retention to peak
15:19try to do that as much as possible in
15:21future videos and some things that can
15:23are doing a lot of fast cuts throughout
15:25your video and when it comes to
15:27statistics to actually aim for
15:29i recommend aiming for a 60 average view
15:32duration on videos that are around 10
15:35and also a six percent click-through
15:37rate if you can hit both of these
15:39it's very likely that your channel is
15:41gonna blow up and you'll go viral on
15:44so now what about making money here's
15:45some secrets on how you can make as much
15:49from youtube doing this method and the
15:52is to make sure that you're producing
15:54videos that are at least eight minutes
15:56long this will allow you to put multiple
15:58ad breaks throughout your video
15:59and make a lot more money as a result so
16:02how many ads should you put on your
16:05if you're producing videos that are
16:07longer than eight minutes i recommend
16:10about every two minutes throughout the
16:11video so that would be putting an ad at
16:14four minutes six minutes eight minutes
16:17and also at the beginning and
16:19end of your youtube video and if you
16:21want to take this to the next level
16:23then you can also put ad breaks at what
16:25you would assume to be high audience
16:28on your video because if more people are
16:30watching at those points
16:32and then they get an ad you'll make a
16:33lot more money as a result so now let's
16:35talk about a secret that'll allow you to
16:37make up to 10 times more
16:39than from just add revenue before we
16:42talk about that if you feel like i've

16:45make sure to leave a like on the video
16:47and subscribe to the channel so i can
16:50money on youtube so part of the reason
16:52we chose the luxury niche like we did
16:54with luxury lion is because not only is
16:56it a high cpm niche and we can make
16:59through ad revenue but we can also make
17:01money through promoting affiliate
17:04i recommend going to places like
17:07and clickbank.com to find products that
17:10are related to your videos
17:12and in the case of the luxury niche
17:14there's so many different like make
17:15money online products that you can
17:17promote on digistore and clickbank that
17:19you can then promote
17:20at the link in the description of your
17:22youtube videos along with
17:24in the pinned comments section of your
17:26youtube videos so let me know down in
