00:03homes and behind me is our amazing 40ft
00:06container on a trailer ready to leave I
00:10think Friday it's heading out of here so
00:11we wanted to do a sneak peek it's not
00:13completely spit shine we're going to
00:16shine it up for the customer but I
00:17thought you guys would love I walked by
00:19it and I thought don't you love this
00:21color andand and I we pick his green
00:23color out almost everything the black
00:25trim the white Windows now this is a
00:27more of a customized 40t container we're
00:30going to take you in show you the
00:32inside all the it normally we have a799
00:37container home that is a it's a um
00:40production home it's the same called the
00:42Detroit called the Detroit this is a
00:44little different we sold this when we
00:46were doing some customizations for
00:47things but I wanted to I want you guys
00:49it's got a wood stove it's got a big
00:51shower it's got a big open floor plan
00:54and the back it's their floor plan
00:55because ours you'll see the uh the floor
00:58plan of the Detroit on the website of
01:00course and this is different so totally
01:02different so you guys like take a look
01:04at this come on in here first thing I
01:07just want to point out is this massive
01:09condenser cuz it's got two many splits
01:11and it's got this huge condenser that
01:13runs this thing inside and another thing
01:15too is that just before we leave this
01:17side keep it start counting there's a
01:20set of doors here so a set of French
01:22doors here House of Doors yeah House of
01:25Doors that's right uh remember this is
01:27going to be hauled with a I think a
01:30F350 a newly pickup truck will come hook
01:33a sucker and taking it down the road
01:36which I love this because it's so
01:39still it's still a tiny house it's still
01:41under 400 ft it's 8X 40 was at 320
01:45Square ft and that'ss outside the
01:48outside so it's actually a little bit
01:50actually a little bit less than that on
01:52the inside remember a container is 84 in
01:54inside inside because the outside's 8 ft
01:5796 and something that's super attract
01:59RVE to people is it's on level
02:02living yes one level living and there's
02:06another set of doors another set of
02:07French doors right there you guys can
02:09see the outside I love the color the
02:11black trim what what we're really known
02:14for Manda if you could shoot underneath
02:16here okay and I want to show some
02:18details this metal trim right and we
02:22have to cut it along all this right here
02:25right we have to cut it according to
02:27these um cores y now they change
02:31actually so okay the ribs change from
02:34the ends to the sides so this pattern is
02:37not always the same oh okay so these
02:39have to be customized to fit around and
02:43weatherproof this whenever you cut into
02:45a container that's our only when you
02:48perforate this thing that's when you've
02:50got them potential for leaks we've got
02:52it down now we've been doing this for a
02:54long time and now we know how to seal
02:56these things up and this person they
02:58have added oh wood stove a wood stove
03:01which a lot of people want in a tiny
03:03house believe it or not they ask about
03:04that well we just built the fire in it
03:06the guys are testing the cap it and man
03:08it was drawn and smoke was coming out it
03:10was doing good all right so we're going
03:12through this set of um French doors and
03:18too got there you go okay French do too
03:21have these that it's just like so nice
03:24to have it they're more expensive but to
03:27have these blinds that are inside they
03:29don't get dirty you don't have to clean
03:31them you can close them just by you know
03:34pulling this totally worth the money
03:35yeah totally worth the money and then
03:37you can pull it all the way up look at
03:39that so worth the extra money yeah you
03:43know when you got them blinds on the
03:44door remember how they swing and they
03:46flop around oh they're terrible yes so
03:48that's really nice that they chose that
03:50so as soon as I walk in let me turn
03:52around here and you describe of course
03:53this is this big mini split you got one
03:56in the back and one here the scon lights
03:59these are SC you can see now he added a
04:02ton of different windows we got windows
04:04up here that are hopper Windows three
04:06more across the kitchen area now this is
04:09a different layout like Amanda said our
04:12Detroit has double counter stop
04:14countertops big living room it's got
04:17glass doors on the end not on the sides
04:19so this is a custom home right this beam
04:21up here is actually made to hold a
04:23hammock that's great Isn't that cool
04:27so um but yeah you can open both of
04:30these have both decks right screen them
04:34in and actually have two rooms I think
04:36that that might be what they're I'm
04:38remembering a little bit now I remember
04:40being in this with the homeowner I
04:41believe and talking about how the
04:43outdoors can come in and how this
04:45hammock's going to be in here and of
04:47course you guys seen this wood stove yes
04:48let's show the stove this is a stove
04:50that the owner sent mhm yep we built a
04:53little fire in there look at the little
04:55T man it got warm it did get warm quick
04:59yeah so we installed that so I'm going
05:01to turn around here so I'm basically in
05:02the living room so here's what's
05:04different about it I mean you see all
05:05the plugs and everything across there
05:07but there's no countertop there and then
05:09there's the uh the hopper windows that
05:11they've added it was it was custom built
05:14yeah these are the Hoppers
05:16mhm we've used those Manda since we've
05:19been in business you know 100% those
05:20Hoppers and it's well the first time I
05:22think that you used a hopper was it in
05:26bathroom mine has M you added a into my
05:30bathroom basement they're a basement
05:32window for a basement and we've used
05:34them in our tiny homes for years man
05:37yeah they're inexpensive so $100 and if
05:40you wanted a casement awning window that
05:42you crank out oh you're talking three or
05:44400 bucks hey I wanted to point out also
05:47there's a plug that was specifically
05:50made to go right there right also Amanda
05:54we do have a sprinkler in here sprinkler
05:57head which we're so proud to show very
06:00proud sorry about that and custom light
06:03fixture over the sink straight down
06:06massive custom sink with a inch and a
06:09half countertop this is our butcher
06:10block and these are custom built uh
06:13cabinets this is not our Matrix cabin
06:15yeah and look remember the toe watch yep
06:19and underneath here did I do it right
06:21yeah there it there it is toe kick yep
06:24toe kick drawer isn't that neat that is
06:26so neat yep is that a Randy Rack or is
06:29that a see oh my gosh is a big one I
06:32love those are so handy people
06:34absolutely love them and they stuff them
06:36too yep Josh building our cabinets does
06:39such a great job absolutely beautiful
06:41countertop and then here's the sink you
06:44were talking about very deep one uh one
06:46big sink one big bowl yep the goose neck
06:49faucet is a little bit different of our
06:51regular Goose necks mhm so you have a
06:54big 220 plug I'm sure a washer and dryer
06:56or dryer is going to go there something
06:58the washer and dryer I think is in there
06:59that that might be for stove I believe
07:02yes so you know what I bet they're going
07:04to put a countertop or something I think
07:06they're doing something there yes and
07:07put that stove there MH okay yeah then
07:11you got your barn door which a barn door
07:13awesome which we we do have a barn door
07:16on the the Detroit right there okay I
07:18just want to make sure yep but normally
07:20the kitchen is down here a little bit
07:21more cuz you got man you got like 12T of
07:24living room living room area and they've
07:26swapped that living room area out for in
07:29here and too their fridge I'm assuming
07:31will go here I bet yeah yep designated
07:34plug yep so there's how it looks that
07:37way so when you come in here there's me
07:40I don't know I was thinking me being a
07:42guy and having I don't like a lot of
07:44cabinets and stuff and storage this is
07:47to me it just felt big and roomy man I
07:50mean this going to be a washer and dryer
07:51right here love it washer and dryer
07:54there you got this big old utility sink
07:57a utility sink which I think is
07:58practical when you got a toilet in your
08:00bathroom water heater and all this yeah
08:03there's a this is a cabinet for
08:05something oh it is ain't it yeah there's
08:07a cabinet I think screwed through the
08:09wall oh is it oh Oh I thought it was no
08:12uhuh that's going somewhere I don't know
08:13where I don't know where it's going but
08:15this is a big laundry area they're going
08:16to be able to store all kinds of stuff
08:18right here got it yeah okay another
08:22Hopper window with these custom lights
08:25another Hopper look at this I was I was
08:27snooping in here look at this so is that
08:30a to dry clothes let's see how do you do
08:32this is that what that is oh look you
08:37okay and then you close it okay but
08:39that's for like drip dry and clo yeah
08:41look at that yeah is that not cool oh
08:44that is cool yeah so it's right there in
08:46the shower so it can drip down we still
08:48got to clean it so just keep in mind
08:50it's not clean this looks practical when
08:52you got this big tub sink toilet but
08:55this is what's going to blow your mind
08:57okay so I'm I mean the bathroom is huge
09:01I mean it's huge cuz they have that
09:02laundry are it's almost like a big huge
09:04mudroom a big mud exactly and then they
09:07have the bathroom here they're going to
09:08have all kind you got look at I mean you
09:09got room on your toilet this is it just
09:11feels roomier well and two there's not a
09:14door here that normally is and there's a
09:17bedroom back here's a bedroom and look
09:19everybody now this is me toilet shower
09:23think and my bed boom and that's my bed
09:26right here there it is I love it the
09:29bed's going to go right there and
09:31another this is a sliding glass door so
09:34they'll have the bed up in the daytime
09:36so you're going to have a flow you know
09:40yeah walk through flow for some reason
09:42you know we used to build them cabins in
09:45the bathrooms now the toilet wasn't out
09:47in the main room but there was a a
09:48shower or let me turn around this way
09:52yeah yeah so this is the bedroom and so
09:54this will be up during the daytime so
09:56you're never going to see the bed and
09:58it's you're going to have a a walk path
10:00all through the house toilets right
10:03there there's no door and you got the
10:05ceiling fan a mini split bed
10:09bathroom I think it's a real practical
10:12home how they've thought it out now I
10:14know it's not got the bedroom the living
10:16room like we did on the
10:19Detroit but and this is a custombuilt uh
10:21Murphy bed that we did yeah yeah so
10:25um this is back in the day when we did
10:28Customs you y they got their custom
10:31light fixture above that another Hopper
10:33window here everything's polyurethane so
10:36there you have it it's not a Detroit
10:38it's more of a custom we don't do
10:40Customs we we don't like to do Customs
10:42as much because we like to build these
10:44get them out get them gone when you do
10:46customizations they take a lot so much
10:49more more time because and they take
10:50more time and more money they do they do
10:53so anyway we thought you'd like this wow
10:55we walk past that the beautiful green
10:56outside with a black trim and then we
10:58come inside you got a wood stove the
11:00kitchen big sink and you add the porches
11:03to it I mean you've got a big house yeah
11:06and Manda I think the one thing that
11:08we're all forgetting about this 40ft
11:11container yeah is you can transport it
11:15yes you definitely can this can it can
11:17crisscross the country you know I was in
11:19the uh RV park connecting the two houses
11:23together mhm do you know this guy had a
11:25semi-trailer with a huge fifth wheel and
11:28he pulled a vet out of it and a smart
11:30car I mean these are becoming like
11:34crisscross in the country they are
11:36absolutely you could actually this is a
11:38fortress cuz this is a container home
11:40you can crisscut and you don't have to
11:42pay a million dollar no to have a big
11:46huge home like this you can pull into
11:48the class A RV part yeah this is it's
11:52something else and too you know
11:53reference back we just did Martha's
11:55house uh her 40ft container and it's a
11:58whole different layout uh completely and
12:00hers was custom as well Detroit it's it
12:02it was it is but it was we twe that was
12:05like our first or second one and we twe
12:07a little bit absolutely because we did
12:08Michelle's Michelle's was I think the
12:11first one or was it um uh Joy's one of
12:15them I don't know but it was one of them
12:16over there but it there was the first
12:18but it was yeah it's really nice I love
12:21the containers it's something that I
12:23think sometimes if we don't show them
12:24they kind of forget about that they're
12:26in the tiny house class so we want to
12:28REM mind you that containers are they're
12:32still going strong they're awesome we
12:33got like 14 to build and we got them
12:37ordering and going just want to let you
