00:42making money on youtube
00:44without making videos works is that
00:45basically we start a channel
00:47in a very specific niche and then we get
00:50other people to make the videos
00:52for us and the beauty about this method
00:54is that if you don't have
00:55upfront money to invest to get other
00:57people to make the videos for you
00:59you can always make the videos yourself
01:01as well and i'll be showing you exactly
01:03how to do this no matter what your
01:05is so if that sounds good keep watching
01:08this video so first of all
01:09we want to choose a niche for our
01:11channel now some of the best niches out
01:13there to make money on youtube without
01:16include the psychology niche the
01:19the finance niche the luxury niche and
01:22the health niche now
01:23these are just some of the best niches
01:25out there on youtube
01:26now there's so many different channels
01:28in these niches on youtube
01:30and i thought in this video i would
01:31reveal to you another niche that i've
01:34never revealed before on youtube
01:36and i think you're going to get a ton of
01:37value from this video right here so it's
01:40one thing to tell you how to make money
01:41on youtube without making videos
01:43but it's a whole nother thing to
01:44actually show you examples
01:46of channels doing this so with that
01:48being said let me jump on my computer
01:50right here to show you some actual
01:51examples of channels doing this
01:53and then i'm going to reveal to you
01:54exactly how you can make the most amount
01:56of money doing this how you can get
01:58and actually blow up your channel and
02:00get other people to make the videos for
02:02you as well as generating the videos
02:04all of that and much more covered in
02:06this video so keep watching
02:07first of all let's jump on my computer
02:09right here and take a look at an example
02:12and this channel is called viral
02:13vehicles as you can see they have 200
02:16and if you can't tell already today
02:20the car niche so the car niche the
02:24and basically the automotive niche in
02:28niche on youtube and a niche that
02:30doesn't necessarily even require you to
02:32show your face or get on camera and a
02:34lot of the channels that i'm showing you
02:36don't even show their face or get on
02:39their videos their videos are literally
02:42just pictures that they didn't even take
02:44with videos that they didn't even make
02:45with them doing a voiceover on top of
02:48and making it transformative making a
02:50fair use and making it into their own
02:53videos so the way that they're doing
02:54this is if we go to this channel right
02:56here called viral vehicles
02:57with over a quarter of a million
02:59subscribers is they just make videos
03:01viral topics like seven car features
03:03that no longer exist
03:053.2 million views on that video and if
03:08we take a look at this particular video
03:11as you can see it's literally just a
03:13title on the video with stock videos
03:16playing in the background
03:17with pictures in the video and this
03:20200 000 views a month on their channel
03:24some of these videos get millions upon
03:25millions of views and as you can see
03:27right here they're not even uploading
03:29nearly as much as i would actually
03:31if possible i do recommend uploading
03:33every single day but if it does take you
03:35longer to produce content then i would
03:37do three uploads a week
03:38and if you can't do that then i
03:40recommend one upload per week
03:42now this channel is only pretty much
03:44uploading once a month
03:46two videos a month on some months some
03:49times they go like two months without
03:50uploading and i would guess that this
03:52channel could easily hit a million views
03:55if they were to upload every single day
03:58and you can get an instant competitive
04:00advantage on all the other channels out
04:03just by uploading more frequently than
04:05them and this channel right here viral
04:07vehicles in the car niche
04:08is by far not the only channel doing
04:10this in fact here's another channel
04:13and as you can see this channel just
04:15talks about different types of cars
04:17motorcycles and all that kind of stuff
04:19five forgotten car mods five types of
04:23this guy actually just basically rides
04:25his motorcycles while he's talking about
04:27these different cars
04:28and then he shows pictures of the cars
04:30and the engines or whatever he's talking
04:32in the video overlaid on top of his
04:34motorcycle footage and
04:36i know there's a lot of youtubers that
04:37do this there's youtubers that just show
04:39like gameplay in the background of their
04:41video because people are really just
04:42listening to the video
04:44and then maybe show the occasional image
04:45on top of the video as well
04:47and that's really all you need to do to
04:49make a channel that and this channel
04:51almost has over 100 000 subscribers
04:53getting over 200 000 views a month on
04:55the channel and here's yet another
04:57channel called bladed angel with 400 000
05:00same types of videos this one is just
05:02showing like pictures and videos in the
05:04while talking on top of the video this
05:06channel almost has half a million
05:08and they get over 60 to 100 000 views
05:12a day on their channel and in just a
05:14second i'm going to be revealing exactly
05:16how these channels are making money
05:18and more importantly how you can too but
05:21let's jump in here and take a look at
05:22another channel called vizio racer
05:24with 400 000 subscribers and they just
05:27do videos like the nine small engines
05:28with lots of cylinders 1.3 million views
05:31and if we take a look at one of their
05:33as you can see it's literally just
05:35showing different videos with text on
05:37with someone doing a voiceover in the
05:39background of the video and this channel
05:41is getting 2 million views a month on
05:44here's yet another channel called modern
05:46muscle with over 180
05:48000 subscribers same types of videos
05:50videos in which they don't even show
05:52their face getting over 1 million views
05:54a month so what all of these channels
05:57is they're in the car niche and one of
06:00the great things about the car niche
06:02is the fact that i would classify this
06:05semi-high cpm niche now what exactly
06:08now i'm going to be revealing exactly
06:10what that means in just a second but
06:12first of all you need to understand how
06:13making money on youtube works
06:15especially in this context of not even
06:19so the way it works is that you upload
06:20videos to youtube you best optimize your
06:23your videos start getting views and
06:24promoted by the youtube algorithm
06:26and this doesn't just happen
06:28automatically you need to optimize your
06:30videos in very certain ways
06:32and once you do that and your videos
06:34start getting traction
06:35once your channel gets over 1 000
06:37subscribers in 4 000 hours of watch time
06:40you can join something called the
06:41youtube partner program in which youtube
06:43will put ads on your videos
06:45and you can make money every single time
06:47someone watches an ad
06:49on your videos so typically the more
06:51views that your videos get
06:52the more money that you'll make and they
06:55pay out every single
06:57month to your bank account and like i
06:59said the card niche is what i would
07:01classify as a semi-high
07:03cpm niche now what is cpm cpm
07:06also stands for cost per milli or how
07:08much money that you make
07:10per thousand views on your channel and
07:12the higher that cpm is the more money
07:14per thousand views now most channels on
07:16youtube get like a one to three dollar
07:19cpm on their channel
07:20meaning they make around that much per
07:22thousand views from my own experience
07:24however with higher cpm niches you can
07:26make a lot more than that sometimes even
07:28up to 50 dollars per thousand views on
07:31your channel depending
07:32on how many advertisers want to
07:34advertise on that particular niche and
07:37type of content that you're producing so
07:40the carnage for example
07:41would be a semi-high cpm niche so you're
07:43probably gonna make a lot more than one
07:45to three dollars per thousand views on
07:47your channel and the reason being
07:49is that there's so many different car
07:51manufacturers and local car dealerships
07:53and so many different people advertising
07:57youtube and you can tap into this market
07:59by doing a channel in the car
08:01niche and i know there's a lot of car
08:03enthusiasts out there as well
08:05so if this is something that you're into
08:07this could potentially be a viable
08:09income for you so at this point you
08:11might be saying where am i going to get
08:12content for my youtube channel first of
08:15all you can get content from youtube but
08:17be careful doing that
08:18make sure that either one you ask for
08:21permission from the people that you're
08:22asking to get content for
08:24either sending them an email or
08:25something like that or you make your
08:27video transformative in fair use
08:29by doing things like making it
08:31educational doing a voiceover on the
08:33and writing an original script for the
08:35video to make it into your own
08:38video now like i said you can do this
08:39yourself or pay other people to make the
08:41videos for you which i'm going to show
08:42you how to do in just a second
08:44but first if you were doing this
08:45yourself what you would do is break this
08:47down into a process and the first step
08:49of the process is choosing your niche
08:51let's say for example we're doing a
08:53channel in the car niche just like these
08:55channels that i was showing you right
08:57and after you choose your niche now you
09:00and the way we get video ideas is going
09:02to viral channels just like this channel
09:04right here viral vehicles
09:06in your niche go to big channels in your
09:08niche and sort their uploads by their
09:10most popular uploads
09:12and see which videos of theirs got the
09:14most amount of views
09:15and then take notes on which videos
09:17there's got the most amount of views
09:19for example this one right here six cars
09:22and as you can see this video is six
09:23minutes long try to produce a better
09:2610 minute version of this video and you
09:30a lot more views this is actually what i
09:33try to do within my youtube operation
09:34with the nine different channels that i
09:36we try to find viral videos that are
09:40six minutes long and recreate them
09:42recreate ten minute long versions at
09:44of those videos longer the better and
09:46you're going to get a lot more watch
09:49and sometimes even in some cases
09:51outperform the original
09:52video now you don't want to copy the
09:54video word for word what you want to do
09:56is write a script in your own words
09:58instead of just going over the six cars
10:00banned in america go over the top 12
10:02cars banned in america
10:04and if that topic works so well think
10:06about what other countries you might
10:07want to target as well maybe do the six
10:09cars banned in japan
10:10or the six cars banned in india or
10:13whatever country you happen to be in or
10:14the country you're trying to target
10:16or just trying different countries out
10:20six cars being banned is such a big
10:23on youtube as referenced by that video
10:25and you can do the same for all these
10:26different videos on all these different
10:28channels take a look at the most popular
10:29videos make notes of it
10:31another way to find popular videos is to
10:33go into youtube right here
10:34and type in your niche let's say we
10:36wanted to make top 10 car videos
10:37so we type in top 10 cars we go to
10:40filter we sort by the view count
10:42then we go to filter again and we sort
10:44by videos that have been uploaded in the
10:46this will show you videos the biggest
10:48videos that have been uploaded in the
10:50month that have that keyword top 10 cars
10:53like this one right here top 10 best
10:55upcoming cars in diwali
10:57the top 10 off-roading cars in india top
11:01selling cars in september 2020 and these
11:03videos are getting a lot of views so
11:05take notes on what's working
11:07right now so that you can potentially
11:09recreate this in your own way
11:10and make money as a result and another
11:14for producing videos make sure that your
11:16videos are at least eight minutes long
11:18so that you can put multiple ad breaks
11:19on your videos i recommend putting one
11:21at about every two minutes throughout
11:23because you're gonna make a lot more ad
11:27and another option for getting content
11:30completely free stock footage websites
11:34pexels.com and they have a ton of free
11:36videos and pictures that you can use for
11:39or you can even go to paid websites like
11:43and literally just pay like a monthly
11:45fee and get access to
11:46thousands upon thousands of videos that
11:48you can use within your videos for free
11:50do a voiceover on top of it and
11:52potentially get a lot of views on
11:54your videos a lot of the top channels
11:56out there literally just use free stock
11:58footage in the backgrounds of their
12:00and a great example channel of this
12:01would be the channel brainy dose which
12:03is in the psychology niche
12:05so after you choose your niche you come
12:07up with a list of video ideas i
12:09recommend around 33 video ideas
12:11and then once you write scripts for all
12:13of these different video ideas
12:14now it's time to record voiceovers and
12:17there's a few different options of doing
12:18this one option is to literally just use
12:20your phone when i started out on youtube
12:22i had this really crappy iphone with a
12:24bunch of cracks in the screen
12:25and i literally just recorded voiceovers
12:27using this really crappy iphone
12:29and i got to the point of making nine
12:31thousand dollars a month now i'm not
12:33guaranteeing that you'll make that much
12:34if you just record videos with your
12:36but i was very lucky to be able to do
12:38that and it took a lot of trial and
12:41seeing what worked and what didn't and
12:42now with this channel right here and
12:44with this video right here i can just
12:46straight up show you
12:47what works so either use your phone or
12:49use a cheap microphone like the blue
12:50yeti nano or something just like the
12:53zoom h1 which is actually what i'm using
12:55to record this video plugged into this
12:59and like i said you can get other people
13:01to do all of this stuff for you which
13:02i'm going to show you how to do
13:04in just a second but now that you've got
13:06your videos recorded now it's time to
13:08edit your videos and i don't want you
13:09spending an arm and a leg on some
13:11expensive video editor when you can
13:12literally just get video editors that
13:15that can do the same thing and some
13:17great examples of free video editors
13:19which you can check out at openshot.org
13:22and a free editor called hitfilm express
13:24and try to do as many fast cuts
13:26throughout your videos as possible
13:28to increase audience retention or how
13:30long people watch your videos on average
13:32because that'll give you more watch time
13:33and youtube will recommend your content
13:36and then once you edit your videos now
13:38it's time to upload them
13:39and what i recommend doing is scheduling
13:41your uploads one per day so i recommend
13:44batching this entire process
13:45doing all your voiceovers at once for
13:47the first month of your channel and i
13:49recommend uploading around 30 videos for
13:51your first month about one video a day
13:54and then batching the recording of them
13:56bashing the script writing and all of
13:57that batching all the video editing do
13:59that in a couple of days
14:01and then what i recommend doing is
14:02uploading all your videos to youtube
14:04at once and then scheduling them to be
14:08video per day and then that way you'll
14:11you'll have 30 videos scheduled for the
14:13month ahead and you could potentially
14:15take a break if you wanted to or produce
14:17and get even further ahead now look i
14:19understand that in some
14:21instances it's really hard to upload one
14:23video a day in which case you'll do
14:26and if you can't do that then i
14:27recommend one video a week
14:29just something that you can do on a
14:30sustainable schedule and you want to
14:32make sure that your videos are optimized
14:34and i have tons of completely free
14:36videos that you can find on
14:38this youtube channel make money matt in

14:41your channel fast from scratch
14:43i've used some of these tactics to grow
14:45a brand new channel that i started from
14:47to 500 000 subscribers in a single year
14:50and everything i teach on this channel

15:43it really doesn't take that much time at
15:47and i recommend hiring people from both
15:48upwork.com and fiverr.com now an extra
15:51bonus tip to make as much money as you
15:53possibly can doing this
15:55is to incorporate affiliate marketing
15:57into your channel meaning promoting
15:58other people's products that you didn't
16:00even make on your channel to make a lot
16:02more money than potentially just from ad
16:05now the best places to find affiliate
16:07products to promote are both
16:10and clickbank.com or if you have your
16:12own product or business or service
16:14to promote you can do that as well and
16:16potentially make a lot more than from
16:19a lot of these channels could be making
16:21a ton of money from just ad revenue
