00:00after many many hours we finally have
00:02the platinum trophy and Dragon Ball Z
00:04Kakarot for finished in every single
00:06achievement in the game which as always
00:07means it is time for things I wish I
00:09knew earlier and this is another one of
00:11those games with so many tips and tricks
00:14and cool things I didn't realize until
00:15like late game or even post game so I
00:17actually had to narrow them down and
00:18make the list shorter anyway let's not
00:20waste any more time and jump straight
00:21into it now you guys know in this series
00:23I really try my best to make sure I'm
00:25not just sharing the same tips that you
00:27ain't gonna find out in the first 10
00:28minutes of the game or they'd have
00:29already seen and 20,000 other videos
00:31here on YouTube and the reason I'm
00:32explaining this is because this first
00:33tip is actually going to be an exception
00:35to the rule and it is something you're
00:36probably seen in many many places
00:38already however it's really important
00:39we'll just make sure you do these
00:41submissions which are the blue side
00:43quest markers that show up as soon as
00:45they show up on your map between every
00:47mission quickly check the world map see
00:49if there's any sub missions going around
00:50and then immediately go and do it
00:52usually they're pretty quick you can get
00:53them done in a couple of minutes some of
00:54them do go on for a little bit longer
00:55but the reason these are so important is
00:58because this is how you get most of the
00:59soul emblems which are the things you
01:01put into the community boards to
01:02actually rank them up now again this is
01:04something you will figure out pretty
01:05quickly however by the time you figure
01:07it out it might be a little bit too late
01:08and you might have already missed out on
01:10a few of them because they are miserable
01:11usually after one or two story missions
01:13these would disappear and you won't be
01:14able to do them again throughout the
01:15rest of the game which means you'll
01:17potentially miss out on a lot of soul
01:19emblems throughout your playthrough even
01:20if you realize this quite early though I
01:22guess once you're in post game you can
01:23use the time machine to go back and
01:25click them afterwards but really once
01:27you're in pose game they're not that
01:28necessary I mean it's cool to have them
01:29playing through the game anyway moving
01:31on to the first real tip is the best
01:33method to farm pretty much anything in
01:35the game personally I use it for farm
01:37mince any words the currency which we
01:39explain in just a second but the method
01:40consists of going into any of these
01:42caves that you can break down or really
01:43any mineral spot in general preferably
01:46an area with at least three to four
01:47these crystals to destroy destroy all of
01:48them to get stuff like gold and crystals
01:51and stuff like that which you can sell
01:52for a ton of money then all we need to
01:54do is save the game then load the same
01:56save file and was born in the same place
01:58but all of the stuff around us will have
02:00respawned so now we can destroy the
02:01things again and simply rinse and repeat
02:03and like we said before you can sell
02:04these at a pretty high price especially
02:06if you have a well-put-together adult
02:08community on your community boards you
02:10can actually get a ton of money really
02:11really quickly and if you're in postgame
02:14method is actually find all seven of the
02:16dragonballs summon Shenron use one of
02:18the wishes to get rich and if your post
02:20game it will actually give you 100,000
02:22seni which is a ton of money early on in
02:25the game will give you like 30000 then a
02:26bit later on I think it's like 60 or 80
02:28thousand and then in postgame it's 100
02:30thousand but as we know the Dragon Balls
02:32need 20 minutes real life time to
02:34respawn so in those 20 minutes while
02:36you're waiting you can simply use this
02:37method to stock up on stuff to sell and
02:39then once you sell them find the Dragon
02:41Balls again and rinse and repeat next up
02:43something that's not really that
02:45important but it's more of a pet peeve
02:46of mine when you casually flying through
02:48the air which is collecting all of these
02:50orbs and then you get these big rings of
02:52orbs that you can't really fly through
02:54and get all of them at once so you find
02:55yourself turn around to pick up the
02:57final one or the ones you leave behind
02:58and also it's not worth the time it
03:00takes to actually turn around and grab
03:01them and though you don't need every orb
03:02in the game if I do fly through one of
03:04these circles and only click like half
03:05of them I feel really uncomfortable if I
03:07don't go back and collect the other half
03:08as well and luckily I found a solution
03:10to this which is press the triangle
03:11button or I'm guessing the Y button on
03:13Xbox and you do a bower roll and this
03:14will actually collect every single orb
03:16in these big circles that is what the
03:18barrel roll is intended to do now when
03:19it comes to temporary buffs in video
03:21games especially JRPGs I've never really
03:23been a big fan I prefer to know my
03:25characters are powerful enough without
03:26the need of like temporary boosts in
03:28this case the cooking mechanic which is
03:29something I didn't really pay too much
03:31attention to for the reasons I just
03:32mentioned however there's something
03:33really really helpful in the cooking
03:35mechanic in this game foods on this game
03:37have two separate types of buff the
03:39first one up here are the regular
03:41temporary buffs we get by consuming that
03:42food however below that that's another
03:44section that's called stat boost now
03:46it's kind of deceiving because it
03:47doesn't actually say this specifically
03:49but the stat boosts are actually
03:51permanent Acin if in the stat boost
03:52section it says plus 10,000 health
03:54points and you consume that meal all of
03:56your characters will permanently have
03:58plus 10,000 health points for the rest
04:00of the game and is one of the best ways
04:02to become more powerful that really gets
04:03overlooked a lot especially in early
04:04game and like I said it affects all of
04:06your characters not just the character
04:07that actually consumes that food now
04:09would it be a dragon ball see tips video
04:10if we didn't talk about the combat the
04:12first thing I didn't realize about
04:13combat in this game is that there's
04:15actually different ways you can end off
04:16the melee spam let's call it when you
04:18just smash it away the circle bottom you
04:20do a lot of hits and then eventually
04:21you'll knock them away but something I
04:23realized pretty late on in the game is
04:25mase ma'am you can actually end the
04:27combo in two other ways if at the end of
04:30the combo you press square for the key
04:32blast you actually do a key blast attack
04:33knock them away instead of a physical
04:35attack which isn't too impressive
04:36however if you press triangle at the end
04:38of the combos things get a little bit
04:39more interesting you do this a owee sort
04:41of expansion wave around you which also
04:43knocks them back but it actually
04:44recharges a decent amount of your key
04:47instantly and if you're relatively new
04:48to the game you may think well that's
04:49not really that impressive
04:51however at risk of moving into a little
04:52bit more advanced combat tactics here
04:54the reason this is so important
04:55especially if for example you're in
04:56Super Saiyan when your key bar reaches
04:58zero your Super Saiyan transformation is
05:00over and you get reverted back to your
05:01base form serve you in the nova combo
05:03and realize your key is getting really
05:04low and you're bad to lose your Super
05:06Saiyan transformation you can quickly
05:07tap the triangle button at the end of
05:08the combo you'll be able to knock them
05:09away as well as still keeping your Super
05:11Saiyan mode activated and even without
05:13Super Saiyan mode let's say you in a
05:14similar situation when you're in the
05:15middle of a combo and you're running
05:17really low on key oh this is another
05:18really good use for this so you can
05:20press the triangle button knock them
05:21away and get enough key back to follow
05:23it up with some sort of a super attack
05:24quick side note I'm sure most of you
05:26already do this if you've been playing
05:27games well but make sure with all of
05:29your characters you put the same type of
05:31attacks on the same shortcut button for
05:32example stuff like the Kamehameha wave
05:34my senko or the Gallic gone I have all
05:36of those equipped to triangle because
05:38they're all the same style of attack
05:39that will like a beam attack right and
05:41then my melee super attacks with all of
05:42my characters I have them on circle then
05:44wonder the sort of the track in multiple
05:46key blasts I have them on the X button
05:48that way all of my characters have
05:49similar attacks on the same button so it
05:51doesn't get confused in and I know
05:52exactly what I'm doing and it's sort of
05:53more intuitive whichever character I'm
05:55using next thing we're going to be
05:56talking about in the combat category is
05:58going to be surge mode now pretty much
05:59everyone knows how to activate surge
06:01mode and probably use it pretty often
06:03Lee anyway because you get this pretty
06:04much from the beginning of the game all
06:06you need to do is hold down the triangle
06:07button when both your key and your
06:09tension gauge are fully charged up and
06:11it'll produce this special surge mode
06:12the thing is not many people actually
06:14use the benefits of search mode to that
06:16full extent or don't really even
06:17understand the boss this gives you
06:18because apart from actually boost in all
06:20of your stats it does a few other cool
06:22things like it allows you to cancel your
06:23super attacks halfway through in case
06:25you need to dodge and the two most
06:27important things about surge Road that
06:29if you learn how to do them properly can
06:30be really really powerful is that if
06:32Auto chases the enemy after knocking
06:34them back or if you're going to do
06:35another super attack and it also allows
06:36you to spam some of your super attacks
06:39Senko or any of the beam attacks for
06:40that matter and why is this useful you
06:42may ask well just check out a few of the
06:43clips so combining Super Saiyan with the
06:45search mode and then just really spam
06:47away something like my sink or
06:48kamehameha and as we have Auto chase
06:50activated in search mode it'll keep on
06:51spawn and right next the enemy and spam
06:53it away another one and another one
06:55until you run out of key or your search
06:56mode run tell like even against bosses
06:58you can clear some of them out extremely
07:00quickly in this method I will admit it's
07:02a bit cheesy and it doesn't work every
07:03single time there are some bosses they
07:05do a good job of xscape and from this
07:07like they'll hit you're really close
07:08range to knock you back and just like
07:09block the attacks and stuff but honestly
07:11it worked more often than I was
07:12expecting it to it works especially well
07:14with Vegeta's a Big Bang attack and
07:16that's all I'm gonna mention on this
07:17topic you guys can go and try it out for
07:19yourself so if you're interested now
07:20another quick thing that I probably
07:21wouldn't have used anyway but did you
07:23guys know you can run away from random
07:25battles in this game like if you have an
07:26encounter with these enemies flying
07:27around you can actually click down the
07:29right analog stick to unlock from the
07:31enemies and then boost fly in the
07:32opposite direction and you'll eventually
07:34actually escape the battle and I
07:35generally feel this wasn't explained in
07:36any of the tutorials at the beginning of
07:38the game though then again maybe it did
07:39unfortunate this game doesn't do a great
07:41job when it comes to tutorials at the
07:43beginning of the game it pretty much
07:44just gives you 20,000 pop-ups with all
07:46the information and when you're
07:47bombarded with that much information
07:48that quickly honestly hardly any of it
07:50really sticks until you kind of figure
07:51it out by yourself as you play on so in
07:53Jagan busi Kakarot like we mentioned
07:54before there's actually many different
07:56ways of making your characters more
07:57powerful whether it be by lever knob by
07:59the community boards by eating foods by
08:01unlocking new super attacks by the
08:02training ground so many different ways
08:04of making your characters more powerful
08:05have this one that gets overlooked quite
08:07a bit and it's actually the place you
08:09can learn some of the most insane stuff
08:11and I'm talking about the training room
08:13it's not a secret by any means the game
08:14explains it to you once you get to the
08:16second episode of the Android arc you
08:18gain access to the training room and
08:20never really bothered upgrading it into
08:21a thorium post game and I was really
08:23surprised to see how insane some of the
08:25passive abilities are that you can
08:27unlock through the training room even
08:28some of the relatively lower level ones
08:30like recommended level 50 you can also
08:31do this on a lower level than 50 you
08:33don't need to be the recommended level
08:34you gain 20% damage to every enemy
08:37that's a lower level than you which is
08:39pretty much everything most of the way
08:40through the game except some of the
08:42bosses maybe and what's insane is it's
08:44not really just 20% because once we
08:46unlock it we can go into a super attack
08:48palette we can upgrade this to 30% and
08:50then once more up to 40%
08:52extra damage that's 40% extra damage
08:54instead of one passive ability and up
08:57here we have another one that's another
08:5840% that's really 80% that's almost
09:00double damage just out of these two
09:02abilities alone and they're both out of
09:04the training room something else about
09:06passive abilities in this game by the
09:07way if you actually need to equip them
09:09so go into the same menu as where you'd
09:11equip your super attacks and then press
09:13r1 and you have this other section here
09:14called the no house and this is where
09:16you're going to be equipped in all of
09:18your actual passive abilities if they're
09:20not equipped they're not gonna be taking
09:22effect obviously so make sure you do
09:23this if you haven't already and we're
09:25not quite finished a fanboy over the
09:26training room quite yet given this is
09:28really really late game and it's just
09:30more for a bit of fun or postgame
09:31content but the final ability you unlock
09:34here is called Auto super sane and this
09:36thing is absolutely insane it is by far
09:38the best ability in the entire game in
09:40my opinion what it allows you to do is
09:41start at the battle in a Super Saiyan
09:43form not only do you start in Super
09:45Saiyan but you also don't consume ki
09:48while being in Super Saiyan you heard
09:49that correct and if that wasn't enough
09:51if your support characters can also
09:53transform they will also automatically
09:55transform at the start of the fight with
09:56you even if you only hit this on level
09:58one so your character will only start on
10:00Super Saiyan one your companions will go
10:02straight to their max transformation
10:04possible and then if you get all the way
10:05to level 120 you can actually start in
10:08like Super Saiyan 3 or go hannes
10:09ultimate version and stuff like that
10:11which is absolutely ridiculous and you
10:12can stay that the entire fight because
10:13it doesn't consume any key for being
10:15transformed and I understand as it's
10:17such late game it's not really helpful
10:19for many people they just really want
10:21people to know that this exists that's
10:22it's such a fun thing to use really
10:24really late on so those are the main
10:25tips and tricks I wanted to share with
10:27you guys in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot before
10:28we go though I will share a few other
10:30quick tips with you really really
10:31quickly just in case you hadn't heard
10:32them before first of all make sure you
10:34go back occasionally and speak with
10:36Master Roshi at the Cammy house to claim
10:38your rewards for the turtle school
10:39challenges which I'm sure you've been
10:41completed without even realizing
10:42actually play on just to defeat and
10:43enemies and stuff like that and you can
10:45get some pretty decent rewards from this
10:46so just go back there every now and then
10:47and claim your rewards same goes for
10:49Corrin the cat and PC at the tower at a
10:52certain point of the story he'll start
10:53producing sensory beans for you to go
10:55and collect every now and then you've
10:56got a notification saying you can go
10:57back to Karns Tower and collect more
10:59so definitely stack up on these every
11:01time you get a chance to because since
11:03your beans here 100% of your health
11:05which is really really
11:06and they're completely free if anything
11:08like me you've probably never actually
11:09opened up the see encyclopedia go ahead
11:12and open it up and you should get some
11:13tea medals as a reward for simply
11:14unlocking entries in the scene
11:16cyclopædia and the coolest thing of this
11:17game I didn't realize until after I'd
11:19already finished the game is that while
11:20you're driving around you can actually
11:22go into first person view by pressing
11:24the triangle button which is pretty cool
11:26while you're cruising through the
11:27streets with your power jeeps in the
11:28passenger seat you know but anyway let's
