00:02Hyer today because they released a DLC
00:05called journey to
00:07volcalist and hey developers thank you
00:09for a key so I can be a nuisance in your
00:11game yet again our wild Journey Begins
00:14as it always does in front of the ever
00:16amazing Ember cradle where usually the
00:18first thing I like to do is run on over
00:20here to our trusty tools and explain how
00:22the game works but we're going to save
00:23that till we get to the DLC so let's get
00:25our trusty vehicle here excuse me didn't
00:28mean to hit you excuse me excuse me what
00:32I was going to say is we need to go find
00:34the DLC but obviously first thing we
00:36need to do is pulverize a random
00:37bystander who seems more than happy for
00:39me to just roll them over again and
00:41again anyway enough of that guy let's go
00:42find the DLC and if I were DLC where
00:45would I be would I be up here in this
00:46mountain area didn't they say something
00:48about a volcano come on game where is
00:50this DLC oh you know what I think maybe
00:52I figured it out well let's go then
00:54onward to the DLC don't worry this will
00:57just flip over on its own okay surely
00:59this vehicle can just go all the way to
01:01it
01:02right oh I see now that I look around
01:04I'm pretty sure that's what that boat is
01:06for but I want to go over there with my
01:08vehicle come on I can't seem to find a
01:12place where I can break through well
01:14maybe I can just drive this thing right
01:15into what do you mean it won't fit in
01:17there okay so be it if we go through
01:19here we even see a little sign that
01:20tells us not to do that which goes
01:22against every fiber of my being but I'll
01:24allow it this time just so we can get to
01:26the DLC okay here we are a beautiful
01:29ship all for us aren't we so lucky and
01:32something tells me if we pull this lever
01:33it's going to take us exactly where we
01:35want to go yep that'll do it ah yes look
01:37we're getting underway and everything
01:39say goodbye to the island of whatever
01:40this is called and then after a quick
01:42loading screen say hello to our new
01:44island volcano Ville here we come now

01:50off the boat let's find out no quickly

04:03nukes and I thought that was that silly
04:05me I guess I got to try harder this time

04:09pulled into a cut scene a cut scene
04:11where I still have control over my
04:12character as it turns out meanwhile the
04:14guy's trying to explain to me how the
04:15DLC works but meanwhile I'm in the
04:17background just being distracting and
04:19you might be wondering why I look this
04:20way well stuff happen What happens if
04:22while this guy is talking to me I just
04:24open up the menu and I click
04:26unstuck there's no oh I'm just gone and
04:29I have no idea where I'm supposed to be
04:31and then it zooms back out to where I am
04:33as they continue to talk well that was
04:35great I see that where they were is back
04:36over here somewhere but I'm pretty sure
04:38whatever they had to say couldn't have
04:39been that important what is important is
04:41that we have a fancy new vehicle one
04:43that's absolutely going to wow us and
04:45also appears to be fueled by lava oh boy
04:47can't wait to see what Adventures await
04:49us and it looks like the sign's going to
04:51tell us everything we need to know
04:52digging is that way well you don't have
04:54to tell me twice or even once you're a
04:56sign you can't talk and oh my goodness
04:58here we are and there's the volcano and
05:01let's see this sign right here says
05:03either we can go to the right for
05:04digging or to the left for volcano well
05:07I think we know what we're doing we're
05:09going up the volcano no question and
05:11it's nice to see as I'm driving up here
05:12that there's so much new stuff to look
05:14at like look at this I uhoh uh we're
05:17fine like look at this we've got lava
05:19and more lava not to mention over here
05:21we also have lava and then as we get up
05:23even higher it looks like we have a big
05:25giant lift that takes us up somewhere
05:27what happens if we get under the lift
05:28before it gets here
05:31here okay and then it just pops you on
05:33the platform I'll take it and here we
05:35are at the top and how about that
05:37there's even more lava up here as well
05:39as a thing up ahead not really sure what
05:41I'm looking at and if we go around the
05:42side here it looks like there's also a
05:44lever that if we pull it does nothing ah
05:47whatever I'm sure in time we'll figure
05:49out what this all means something tells
05:50me it's going to be Anvil adjacent all
05:52right well that was exciting let's get
05:54out of here let's see if we can take a
05:55more fun way down ah yes like this lava
05:57fall which ooh looks like it could take
06:00us all the way to this snow globe over
06:01here so off we go oh let's do some
06:04tricks while we're here like a sweet
06:05cork screw before submerging ourselves
06:07completely into the lava which you would
06:09think would kill us but don't you worry
06:11somehow we're just fine besides I'm
06:13pretty sure his beautiful skin is immune
06:15to everything okay and we'll take the
06:17nice easy route I can see the dome in
06:19the distance I think we're getting
06:20closer oh I see there's a bridge I could
06:22have been taking that's going to take us
06:23to new Glade Shelter From The Elements
06:26not sure why I would personally want
06:27that I don't know it seems kind of nice
06:29out here what do they have in there that
06:30we don't have out here oh I guess it is
06:33kind of nice and we can still hit people
06:34so I guess everything's fine actually I
06:36have a more pressing question can we
06:38take these people and launch them out
06:39into the elements oh boy can we where's
06:42your shelter now how does it feel you
06:45seem shockingly not concerned about any
06:47of this I'm starting to think you guys
06:49just like the dome but you certainly
06:50don't seem like you need it here you go
06:52fly into the water now have a nice
06:53little cool off the same goes for us by
06:55the way we don't seem to have a problem
06:57with lava like when we jump on it sure
06:59we bounce around a little bit but
07:00overall if we stay in it we kind of get
07:02used to it anyway let's do a quick tour
07:04of this town first and foremost it looks
07:06like there's a new interesting thing
07:07which is this Museum which if we take a
07:09gander looks like we can go inside and
07:11collect dinosaur bones no not that old
07:14guy like it looks like it might be some
07:16kind of a go fetch some
07:19[Music]
07:26hydrocurl blah Museum return blah blah
07:29blah BL one fossil which will get me 100
07:31Scout Guild tokens which I don't really
07:33know what those are but sure we can keep
07:35an eye out for that and let's see what
07:37else is happening around here what does
07:38this store sell well it looks like we
07:40have construction crates used to
07:42construct stores in New Glade wait a
07:44minute I have to make the town Jeweler
07:46construction crate ticket office
07:48construction crate if you make the
07:49ticket office you can take the ship to
07:51MZ Island to buy more Vehicles oh my
07:53goodness a shiping all that stuff you
07:54must be so excited about your job anyway
07:57past this loser we have some more cool
07:58stuff like this lava drill now we're
08:01talking and this lava Harvester and the
08:03most exciting thing here the task Board
08:06Store task notes for easy display all by
08:0950 thank you anyway that's pretty much
08:11what this game is about digging and
08:12Mining and stuff as you can see by this
08:14other shop over here this furthers what
08:16we're going to be doing we've got all
08:17kinds of supplies like anvils and other
08:20stuff like a gem cutter and this magnet
08:23thingy and this bucket and pan as well
08:25as building stuff a bed for crying in
08:28stuff for people smarter than me and for
08:30some of my personal favorites pipes
08:32pipes and more pipes and as you can see
08:34when we Mouse over them they move lava
08:36around this is different than the base
08:38game where you usually work with water
08:40but it looks like here oops all lava oh
08:42and I guess this thing in the center is
08:43that thing that keeps the Dome up and
08:45unfortunately try as I might the game
08:47doesn't let you actually jump into the
08:49middle and boy howdy do I want to oh and
08:51in case you're curious no you can't
08:53launch the villagers into it they just
08:54bounce right off here let me help you
08:56get back into the museum see there you
08:58go and now that we've seen civilization
09:00let's head back out into the hot cold
09:02and see about some place where we can do
09:03some mining gosh I should have been
09:05paying attention I don't actually know
09:06where I'm going wait never mind here's a
09:08sign H let's see dig town or dig well
09:11I've had enough town for now so let's go
09:13check out this one and after a nice
09:15uneventful drive we arrive at our
09:17destination scoria chamber look at this
09:20it has all the information we need to
09:21know you use the shovel and you
09:23spontanously combust but then I noticed
09:25this they want me to pay for this no
09:27thank you I'll be taking my goods
09:29elsewhere and then instead of taking the
09:30road we're going to take a shortcut so
09:32that we can never truly get a sense of
09:33where we are but I don't know this looks
09:35promising it's the town of burville oh I
09:38get it because it's cold here you're all
09:40so clever but it's good to know this
09:41place exists because here you can buy
09:43conveyor belts and goodness knows I'm
09:45going to want those oh now here's a
09:47citizen I like doesn't talk to me looks
09:49disappointed in me why can't everybody
09:51be more like you anyway that's great and
09:53all but I'm tired of driving around I
09:55just want to do some sweet sweet digging
09:56I know there's a free plot of land
09:58around here somewhere there always is I
10:00guess I should have listened to the guy
10:01at the very beginning who was giving me
10:03clear concise instructions but wait what
10:05have I come across here what the heck is
10:07this ooh looks like someone was murdered
10:09out here let's see what is this a good a
10:12hydroa or leg excellent I'll be sure to
10:13turn this into the local authorities
10:15later I'm just excited to have a piece
10:17of a dead body in my truck oh wait I
10:19found it here I am at the base of the
10:20volcano where I went this way and it
10:22turns out our starting thing is right
10:23over here yep here we are at Beautiful
10:26Dawn rest what a piece of crap but
10:28whatever free is free and now I can do
10:30my favorite part that I do every single
10:32episode and explain how these things
10:34work so here we start with our shovel
10:36bucket and pan and also a torch
10:38apparently and also a map but that would
10:40require reading so here's how it works
10:42we take our shovel and the bucket and
10:44the pan and then we walk all this stuff
10:46all the way closer to the lava we take
10:48the old shovel scoop up whatever this is
10:50dump it into the bucket and do this a
10:52couple more times then drop that shovel
10:54right on the ground pick up your bucket
10:56drop that pile into the pan and then I'm
10:58going to assume we pick up some lava
11:00well let's find out well I think that
11:02did it we can pick this up with our
11:04hands right yep looks like we can and
11:06then we take that lava drop the thing in
11:07the thing and TAA amazing minerals okay
11:10wait I got some questions now if I get
11:12some more lava what happens if I just
11:13dump it on the ice ooh look at that
11:17there's a noticeable indentation that as
11:19the Sun starts to set you can definitely
11:21see it a little bit better well that's
11:22all sorts of exciting I love the idea I
11:24can affect everything without even using
11:26the shovel does the same work the
11:28opposite like if I take this stuff and
11:30then I take it over to the lava does it
11:31melt when I put it near the lava looks
11:33like that's a yes or at least I think I
11:36can still Place some ice here but no
11:38further it looks like although as we get
11:39closer to this side right here we can
11:41get awfully close to the lava so even
11:43though there's some boundaries they're
11:44definitely not like hard boundaries in
11:46fact I'm pretty sure that was more of a
11:48border of our digging space and less
11:49about the lava seeing as how I can just
11:51drop this stuff right in and it doesn't
11:53seem to have any problem with this WOW
11:55Nature's crazy anyway once we have
11:57minerals like this thing which in this
11:59case is a big old thing of gold ore we
12:01can float this thing out in front of us
12:02stroll past our vehicle walk all the way
12:05back to town and here we meet our best
12:07friend the Jeweler staring vacantly off
12:09into space and we walk up to them and
12:11we're like M lad must be swimming in
12:13tokens some all those tickets he sells
12:15sir don't talk to me like we're friends
12:16and then we throw it down on the table
12:18which gives us a beautiful 5C and then
12:20get away from them or else they're going
12:21to keep talking push the big red button
12:23and take our amazing earnings back into
12:25my greedy little hands then turn around
12:27and give this person one last look at
12:29disain and then it's time to walk all
12:30the way back five whole coins richer and
12:33then I'm going to place that right on
12:34the edge of the lava right here just to
12:36keep it warm yeah there's no way I'm
12:38going to lose that I mean clearly this
12:39is all fine we don't seem to have a
12:41problem picking up things that are
12:42probably really really hot and we'll
12:44just go over here and do this a whole
12:45bunch more times and then we do this
12:47process over and over again until this
12:50turns into this it's mineral
12:52Extravaganza I don't know what most of
12:54this is and to top it off we're going to
12:56give it a little
12:57garnish yeah there we go now it just
12:59looks like one big Clump and then back
13:02to this guy don't do it don't say
13:04anything okay good anyway look at that
13:06one day I will buy shut up anyway we dug
13:09up enough minerals to land us a cool
13:126,024 coins what a deal hey what's your
13:15problem you didn't want the lava that's
13:17okay consider this a tip from me to
13:20you whatever I'm sure he's fine anyway
13:23there should be plenty of starting cash
13:24for us to buy some fun things hey
13:26everybody it's me again I'm here to buy
13:28some stuff specifically these things
13:30because nothing gets my heart pounding
13:32like a ticket office so give me one of
13:34these and go put it over here on this
13:35buying platform and then actually we're
13:37just going to grab all of these so this
13:39tier one store as well as Jeweler thingy
13:41on you go and this tier 2 thingy and
13:44also tier three who cares we have the
13:46money and then you take your cash bring
13:48it on back over here and feed the
13:50payment bucket and then push the big red
13:52button and this all becomes ours oh boy
13:54so many things that I'm not quite sure
13:55what they do okay let's see how this
13:57works what do we do with this crate oh I
13:58think I figured it out something tells
14:00me it goes in the Big Green Space okay I
14:03see well it sure doesn't look very done
14:05what do we have to oh no oh no
14:08objectives now we've done it we have to
14:10get he stone blocks and iron bars I
14:12knowbody I'm upset too that we have to
14:14mine in a mining game well I guess let's
14:16get started well now I'm curious what
14:17these tear crates do and here's an empty
14:19spot to put one right
14:21now oh it's the it's the tier 2 store
14:24how silly of me and just like the last
14:26thing there's requirements for this
14:28thing too this one takes the same things
14:30as before just more of them with the
14:32addition of cladium bars what do you
14:33think about this sir yep I get it just
14:35Blair witching into a wall and now to
14:37start our wild Empire let's get some
14:39supplies ey wager the first thing we're
14:40going to need are some pipes pipes of
14:42all kinds really and we'll pick up a
14:44bunch of this other stuff too okay let's
14:45go do some fun stuff with all this crap
14:47we bought okay so here's my plan I don't
14:50actually have a plan I'm just going to
14:52pick all this stuff up and put it down
14:53for now okay that should about do it I
14:55think we're about ready to start doing
14:57some stuff I mean I'm not exactly sure
14:58where everything is but I know it's in
15:00there somewhere so I'm sure we'll figure
15:01it out for starters we're going to need
15:03one of them pipes that pulls the things
15:04from the thing yeah this the lava intake
15:07pipe pumps lava into pipe system which
15:09means all we have to do is take this
15:11pipe and slap it right into the lava ah
15:14yes what a lovely
15:16noise then we can take one of these
15:18other pipes perhaps this one and then
15:20just slap it onto the front and we can
15:21extend its reach luckily somewhere in
15:23here we have one of these twisty dealies
15:25excuse me a valve hook which stops the
15:27passing of water lava were logic well I
15:30don't need a device to stop the logic
15:32but at least we can attach this to the
15:33lava pipe then give it a little twist a
15:35thank goodness it's stopped and that
15:37lets us do a bunch of building without
15:38fear of that thing making noise or
15:40dribbling lava on everything which I
15:42wouldn't have cared about If This Were
15:43water but when it comes to Lava
15:45something more dire can happen here
15:47allow me to show you oh dear there it
15:49goes when is it going to stop excellent
15:51question I don't know but I sure I'm
15:53excited to find out so if we just peer
15:55in here it doesn't look like it's going
15:57very far but then I real realiz
15:59something it might be up against this
16:00icy ramp like we've got all this ice we
16:02can dig but there is like a foundation
16:04we can't dig through see look right
16:06there's the wall which leads me to
16:07believe if we keep digging right here
16:09we're going to see that this lava made
16:11hole probably only extends that far yep
16:13it's stopping on the ramp what I mean to
16:15say is we still don't know how far this
16:17will drip down will it go through all
16:19the ice to do an accurate test we're
16:21going to have to build out a little
16:22further a lot further yeah that's
16:24probably better if we Zoom all the way
16:26out we can see that it's essentially in
16:28the dead center of our little frozen
16:29pond thing which hopefully means this is
16:31the deepest spot okay let's find out
16:34well it's definitely doing its thing
16:35dropping that lava further and further
16:37and we can definitely see it's doing
16:39something like with every drop we can
16:40see some kind of cosmetic change
16:42happening it looks like it's not going
16:43down any further so either that's as far
16:45down as it'll dig or that's the bottom
16:47of the map well let's find out we'll
16:49just go down the oldfashioned way and
16:51see as I stare at the blinding blinding
16:53white and dig a hole at least it's later
16:55in the day and I can see again we're
16:57getting kind of closer but not really
17:00actually as I was digging all this stuff
17:01out I realized that if I crouch and then
17:03shove myself way in here I can actually
17:05see through the ground now I know this
17:07might look weird at first but this long
17:09column you're seeing here is actually
17:10this we're just seeing it from a
17:12different angle like we're not supposed
17:13to and because of that we don't see all
17:15the surrounding dirt or anything we just
17:17see straight through to whatever tunnels
17:18have been made well that's all I needed
17:20to see now that I know how far down this
17:22is going to melt this opens up to a
17:24grand plan which is I want to use all
17:26these supplies over here to do the
17:28digging for me so just give me a second
17:30this won't take very long okay this
17:32should be better plenty of pipes to drop
17:34lava all over the place and if all goes
17:36according to plan it should create nice
17:38little divots for us so let's go ahead
17:40and fire it up and see what
17:42happens oh wow look at it go look at
17:45that lava just cascading down and it's
17:47definitely making holes everywhere it
17:49lands what a beautiful thing to watch
17:51quickly let's head into our underground
17:53little thing and clip through to see
17:54what it looks like oh my goodness well I
17:57think we can see it's definitely digging
17:58down for us we can see all these points
18:00where when the lava hits it makes their
18:02little Caverns bigger well I'm sure
18:03pleased that this is working on to the
18:05next stage of our plan so the next thing
18:07we need to do here is take one of our
18:08machines I think it's this one the lava
18:11drill the deeper you dig the better the
18:13resources yeah that sounds great how
18:14about instead we do right on the surface
18:16see here's how it works this thing goes
18:19and then this thing goes but in order
18:21for that to happen we got to plug it
18:23into some lava you know out of the back
18:24of its head no problem we'll just set up
18:26another one of these things oh okay okay
18:29let's see if it works well shiver me
18:31timbers it does what a convenient
18:34nature-made funnel well if one is good
18:36more has to be better right of course it
18:38does after all what's the point of all
18:40these holes if we're not going to use
18:41them as ice repositories and the way
18:43I've set these up is they all connect to
18:45the same little Pipeline and all I have
18:47to do is turn the valve to open up the
18:48flow of lava so what are we waiting for
18:51let's do it ah there they go talk about
18:53efficiency grinding up and spitting out
18:55ice to fill into holes made of ice
18:58although is as this is I'm noticing a
19:00flaw in my plan what I wasn't accounting
19:02for is that these little pieces of ice
19:03can combine with other pieces of ice to
19:05make bigger Pieces Of Ice And if that
19:07happens nothing's going to fit down the
19:09hole anymore see I want you to be more
19:11like this and less like this don't worry
19:13though I have an idea of how to fix this
19:15because while these little ice cubes
19:16might change size you know what'll never
19:18betray me the size of the ore that comes
19:20out of them I'm going to assume that
19:22stuff like this gold ore will also fit
19:25down
19:26here yep safe and sound that's fine
19:29we'll just adjust this process a little
19:30bit we were going to have to set up
19:32these things anyway the lava Harvesters
19:34breaks ice and frost Rock chunks into
19:36resources now one way I could fix this
19:38is I could take these machines and place
19:40them up a little higher which means also
19:42the ice comes out higher and then we can
19:43put the Harvester right in front of it
19:45so in theory the ice will pop out of
19:47there fall into this and be ground up
19:49and then minerals will pop out of this
19:50shoot which will then fly down into
19:52these holes but I've already done
19:53Contraptions kind of like this so let's
19:55do something a little bit different
19:57instead we're going to leave everything
19:58on the same level that it is now and
20:00move it back just one tile we're going
20:02to fill this new space in with something
20:04else which is one of my favorite things
20:06to use in basically any situation which
20:08we're going to pick up back over here in
20:10burville watch out coming through ah
20:12there they are my beautiful beautiful
20:14conveyor belts we got old favorite here
20:17the one that goes straight ahead and
20:18then the one that goes up the two that
20:20help change direction and then the ones
20:22I forgot what they do there's also an
20:24additional thing we're going to have to
20:25worry about which is these these aren't
20:27lava pipes like we have back at the base
20:29oh no they're water pipes because even
20:31though everything else now takes lava
20:33these things only work by hooking on to
20:35water pipes so in addition to all that
20:37lava stuff we have to figure out how to
20:38make these water pipes work for us too
20:41okay so this is how this is going to
20:42work first and foremost right over here
20:44is the machine that we're going to use
20:45the ice melter melts ice to produce
20:48water basically it's kind of a
20:49three-part process step one lava goes in
20:52there no problem and once we've done
20:55that the lava will heat this up and the
20:57water will come out of here but that
20:58water is not just going to make itself
21:00that's why we have to fill up this thing
21:01full of ice and I could go over here and
21:03just grab some ice and then hop up here
21:05and just dump it into the machine but I
21:07don't want to do stuff by hand why do it
21:09by hand if we can automate it so I guess
21:11we're going to set up some lava drills
21:12in the sky after all but we can't place
21:14them yet this High because they need to
21:16be sitting on ice or else they don't
21:17have any ice to grab and spit out no
21:19problem it's time to make some snow
21:21piles so we'll just grab some of this
21:23and put it over here and keep doing this
21:25until we have a nice big snow column and
21:27then once we have that go ahead and just
21:29put some ice like that and then just
21:31wrapping around okay and there we go
21:34it's beautiful it's like a big fluffy
21:35Cloud threatening to strangle this whole
21:37thing and now it's time to place our
21:39drills look how good that looks the only
21:41way it could get better is if we added
21:43two more and now all we need to do is
21:45feed lava up to these things too and
21:47that should about do it there we go
21:49everything's connected with lava pipes
21:51and since I was here I went ahead and
21:53added another lava pipe that extends
21:55right on past our base past the main
21:57road up on top of this Glacier where it
21:59goes and goes and continues to go all
22:02the way back to the starting boat that
22:04got us here and where exactly does it
22:06lead oh just to a little known
22:08shopkeeper who sits completely unaware
22:10for when I turn on the flow of lava
22:12anyway no time like the present let's
22:14flip this thing on and see if it works
22:16here goes let's fire it up oh my
22:18goodness it's actually working the
22:19drills do their drilling thing the
22:21shoots are shooting and the ice is being
22:23instantly melted into this thing ofab
22:26and water's coming out the water pipe
22:27what a wonderful little system we've
22:29created for ourselves and of course we
22:31need to find out how this pipe is
22:34doing yep working as intended now all we
22:37need to do is get our pipe system
22:39together so all we need to do is connect
22:40these and a bunch here and then all the
22:43way down past the drills okay great
22:45we're really filling up the space and
22:47now that we have all the pipes laid out
22:49it's time to go back over to the truck
22:50and get our conveyor belts which all we
22:52have to do to make these function is
22:53attach them to the now functioning water
22:55pipes see there it goes and now all we
22:57need to do is connect all the way down
22:59the line yeah a little something like
23:00that so let's open up the lava again and
23:02see if it works there we go working like
23:04a dream I mean for right now it's not
23:06going anywhere it's just stacking up
23:08over here and oh no but that's okay at
23:10least we know it's working that and I
23:11feel like this is just making beautiful
23:13Modern Art so the next thing we need to
23:15do is make sure it goes along the other
23:16side too shouldn't be much of a problem
23:18just got to replace one pipe with one of
23:20these send water over this direction
23:22hook up all the pipes and conveyor belts
23:24and there we go and now that this stuff
23:26is ready to go it's time to show off
23:27where these conve a belts are going to
23:29lead to and that's going to be up in the
23:31air and we set these things to go up and
23:33up and it's happening on both sides here
23:35let's use a piece of ice to show The
23:37Majestic Journey that it takes first it
23:39makes its way down the conveyor belt
23:41before it connects to these other
23:42conveyor belts that takes it higher and
23:44higher and oh boy does it travel far so
23:46far in fact that it goes past our lava
23:48machine that makes the lava rain and
23:50then eventually on its Journey it makes
23:52its way up to here where it meets this
23:53machine that puts it in the dead center
23:55before connecting in the middle centered
23:57again and then sent up even higher and
23:59then once it reaches the top it gets
24:00centered again and at least at the
24:02moment that's the end of our conveyor
24:03belt right now it just kind of falls off
24:05and that's because right here that's
24:07where we're going to place our lava
24:08Harvester there we go ready to grind and
24:10then burst forth with minerals that'll
24:12fall down below and with any luck
24:14they'll fall through all of this and
24:16land into the holes below oh I guess I
24:18got to get this stuff out of the way
24:19first thankfully we've got this little
24:21toy a magnet on a stick attracts
24:23resources when activated so all we need
24:25to do is aim it at some of this ice and
24:27then activate
24:29bait okay there we go a nice big ball of
24:32this get on the Belt have a nice trip so
24:35far so good all of the ice is Slithering
24:37its way up the conveyor belt and as it
24:39reaches the top it all centers up like
24:41it's supposed to makes its way around
24:42the bend and starts its further Ascent
24:45looking even more like a snake than ever
24:47before oh boy here we go it's time to
24:50see if this will work oh yeah minerals
24:53Galore and is it absolutely waterfalls
24:55minerals down on us the hope is that
24:57some of it makes it way through the
24:58cracks and falls down into the holes
25:00below look one fell in right there the
25:03whole thing is working we saw it with
25:04our own eyes now all we need to do is
25:06clean up all this crap just throw it all
25:08around like a pile of laundry I love it
25:10too cuz the magnet's pulling the stuff
25:12all creepily out of the holes which let
25:13me tell you is as satisfying as it is
25:15creepy okay that should about do it most
25:18of the ice is cleaned up and making its
25:20way up the belt obviously glorious
25:22results and now it's time to turn our
25:24attention to exactly what we're doing
25:25with all these minerals if we head on
25:27over here and use our x-ray Vision we
25:29can see that it's actually working look
25:31at our little vials of minerals which
25:32means now it's time for the next stage
25:34of our plan hollowing the space out so
25:36we can get to the minerals oh and here
25:37we go uncovering all of our secrets and
25:40as you can see as we reveal all this
25:42stuff we can indeed see the holes
25:44created by the lava oh what an
25:45underground Fortress we're building for
25:47ourselves okay I think that should about
25:49do it we have a nice little cave with
25:50these weird immortalized Columns of
25:52minerals easy fix we'll just get this
25:54out of the way with our handy dandy
25:56magnet there we go everything out of the
25:58way and also I don't know when this game
26:00became such a magnificent poor
26:01unclogging simulator but here we are and
26:04let's take all these minerals and dump
26:05them in our little bucket here which is
26:07this magical infinite thing where if we
26:09keep slam dunking minerals into it long
26:11enough they'll all
26:13settle okay that'll take care of that
26:15let's see if the new minerals come
26:17through oh yeah look at it working one
26:20tiny mineral at a time but over time
26:22it's working great also you might not
26:24know it by looking at this but the more
26:26little pieces of ice that come out the
26:28worse the frame rate gets it's not so
26:30bad at first but once things start to
26:32really get going things start to get
26:34real rough real fast also what the hell
26:37is that noise oh God what is happening
26:39here you know in hindsight I think I see
26:41what's going wrong with the frame rate
26:42this thing appears to be clogged and
26:44this giant piece of ice is just getting
26:46more and more let's just go with hard
26:48packed resulting in tons of hitching
26:50frame rates and let's see what happens
26:52when we unclog this
26:54mess oh I see good okay we've cleared
26:57the obstruction now now stuff will work
26:59again and what's probably causing that
27:00to happen is even though these minerals
27:02are hitting these pipes and then falling
27:04down below a bunch of them are probably
27:06finding their way under the conveyor
27:07belt and then they get clogged up above
27:09that's okay I think I know how we can
27:10fix this and that's with these things
27:12splitter conveyor belts Place resources
27:14onree to split so basically all we need
27:16to do is take one of these things and
27:18replace one of the normal conveyor belts
27:20with this thing and now all we need to
27:22do is place on this little tray all the
27:24things we don't want to go up the
27:25conveyor belt and now it stuff makes its
27:27way through and anything that's not
27:28those things gets filtered out what a
27:31deal and now that we've got that set up
27:33on both sides let's use all of our new
27:35sorting talents to turn this underground
27:37ice Fortress into a logistical
27:38Masterpiece who's ready for a tour first
27:42things first is all these minerals come
27:43down and get captured by the conveyor
27:45belts where they continue their Journey
27:47to the end and all head into the next
27:49Cavern where they come face to face with
27:51the Sorting process and now that they're
27:53properly sorted it's time for them to go
27:55onward and upward and up and up until
27:59eventually one by one they Branch off
28:01and this applies to all eight different
28:03types of minerals eventually they all do
28:05a U-turn and head back the other
28:06direction this whole Contraption goes so
28:09high in fact that it goes right over
28:10this thing so while this thing is
28:12sending minerals down all these other
28:14conveyor belts are busy sending minerals
28:16up eventually these things do level out
28:18and go on a conveyor belt that goes
28:20straight across instead of up at which
28:21point they just keep going and going
28:23until they Teeter off the edge don't
28:25worry nothing bad is going to happen to
28:26them cuz they're falling harmless LLY
28:28into these giant funnels look at them go
28:31and down all the way back to the bottom
28:33see look here comes one
28:36now wow look how perfectly it's working
28:39this process isn't excessive at all oh
28:41frame rate you're loving this aren't you
28:43all these minerals raining down from the
28:45sky and then being so stupidly organized
28:47but oh is it worth it you know what the
28:49hell the frame rate's so bad let's turn
28:51the lava back on too there we go now
28:53that's the ultimate now there's so much
28:55crap happening at the same time who
28:57cares about about the game running well
28:59I know I don't doesn't feel like any of
29:01this town stuff matters anymore does it
29:03it's certainly making the villagers a
29:04little uneasy or maybe they just spotted
29:06my character it's hard to know for sure
29:08well we do definitely have the supplies
29:10now to meet these minimum requirements
29:13although I'm not sure what it matters
29:14now since I can barely move nice to see
29:16it's here though I guess hey how much
29:18will you give me for the rest of my bars
29:20here oh okay thanks uncrafted products
29:23fetchy prices they sure do don't they
29:25anyway as awesome as this has been we're
29:27not quite done yet there's one
29:29individual we still need to take care of
29:31and thankfully dealing with this is
29:32going to handle our frame rate problem
29:34too remember this handsome fella we
29:36previously had the lava going right over
29:38his face but now we have it a little
29:39ways off on top of this conveyor belt
29:42and there's a special delivery on the
29:43way luckily it's going to take a little
29:45bit of time before it arrives just
29:47enough time for us to get back on this
29:48boat and get out of here have a nice
29:50summer nuke Tasia ah and here we are
29:52back on the mainland presumably with a
29:54little time to spare
