00:16manage to pull this off all alone let's
00:18Journey back in time before collectors
00:19became famous even outside of Roblox on
00:22November 4th 2014 is when coeptus first
00:24started heavy development on bloxburg
00:26and was in development for over four
00:28years but then the game was made public
00:29on August 6 2016. while also making
00:32bloxburg the most unique and most
00:34outstanding game that still has the many
00:36years stands out from every other Roblox
00:38game on the platform with a very solid
00:40and detailed building system enabling
00:42the possibilities of creating literally
00:44anything as well as some very polished
00:46role play element with a huge Community
00:48always building things that brings the
00:50game attention to a lot more players
00:51outside of Roblox bloxburg definitely
00:53has one of the strongest role play
00:55communities but I still don't fully know
00:57who the owner of bloxburg is most games
01:00on Roblox you know who the owner is for
01:02example a Simo you know exactly who he
01:04is especially bad CC who's been on the
01:06BBC News before but coaptus has been
01:07very secretive about his identity he's
01:09one of the most secretive Roblox
01:10developers who's never faced revealed
01:12gave any sort of information on who he
01:14is and of course me being nosy I did
01:18some research so let's Journey back a
01:20few years to find out who he really is
01:22and his history collectus first made his
01:24Roblox account on June 28 2014. the
01:27bloxburg development started on November
01:296th of 2014. seems weird right he tells
01:33us that he had another Roblox account
01:35way before the coaptus account the
01:36biggest theory in the community is that
01:38collectors is actually but who is he
01:41said he was one of many few Roblox
01:43developers to be hired by Roblox 14
01:45years ago and has been working for them
01:46for many years and still does today but
01:49here's something stuck back in 2014 when
01:51bloxburg was a development who I just
01:52made this decal which says Telemann
01:55cleaning which is shubletsky's second
01:56Roblox account what's more suspicious
01:58while I was researching is lesky made
02:00bloxburg on his account back in 2013.
02:03very close if you ask me the account
02:06collectors has no past games or words
02:09he's shown besides bloxburg which is
02:11what started the rumors on shaletsky
02:13being coept us with everything we've
02:14just uncovered it's safe to say coopters
02:16is a very Anonymous person and probably
02:18won't reveal anything about him anytime
02:20soon now let's fast forward back to
02:22present day to truly understand where
02:23and when bloxburg success started to
02:25Skyrocket because the game has won
02:27several block scenes which include best
02:29of tech best showcase and best game
02:31trailer also being talked about outside
02:33of the Roblox it's importantly being the
02:35first game to be talked about in a TV
02:37show also bringing in hundreds of
02:39YouTubers who don't even play Roblox to
02:41come on blockford to join Community
02:43while not many people are able to afford
02:4525 Robux to play the game bloxburg
02:47averages about 100 000 concurrent
02:49players daily and has been able to
02:51manage 7 billion visits which is crazy
02:53for a paid access game the possibility
02:56in community of bloxburg kept Rising as
02:58players would record their or speed
03:00builds which then posting it on Tick
03:02Tock or YouTube which gained more than a
03:04million views borrowing lots more eyes
03:06to bloxburg and to players who don't
03:08even play Roblox bloxburg is one of many
03:10few Roblox games that has been standing
03:12for eight years but still a very strong
03:15and dedicated Community growing each
03:17year lock Springs updates always
03:19prioritizes on making the building
03:20system even more advanced now once I
03:24will update would make blocks for 10
03:25times more popular than it already was
03:27on September 3rd 2020 bloxburg did a
03:30huge map expansion and did a revamp
03:32which made the game feel more fresh with
03:34a lot more roleplay elements added more
03:36places to build and just making the game
03:38feel more realistic with a bigger map
03:40added this update alone made the
03:42community of bloxburg more excited for
03:44what's coming in the future with all of
03:45these new gameplay changes being
03:47implemented all these big updates and
03:49all of this hype things do sound very
03:51good coleptus is successful
03:54but even after all that success cuatus
03:57was getting something weird happened
03:58which made majority of the block for a
04:00community very upset remember when I
04:03said bloxburg has really talked about
04:04outside of Roblox when I said that I
04:07meant it really gets pushed all around
04:09different communities and areas of The
04:11Gaming Community bloxburg got talked
04:13about so much outside of Roblox to the
04:15point where one of the biggest gaming
04:17companies in the world embracer made the
04:19decision to buy bloxburg for 100 million
04:22dollars well after taxes though just
04:24basically gets 37 million which is still
04:26a lot of money making him a
04:28multi-millionaire and basically having
04:29to never work again in his life but who
04:32is the embracer group and why did they
04:34make that huge decision to buy bloxburg
04:36let's dig a Little Deeper on their
04:37intentions of making such a huge
04:39purchase because we all know there's way
04:41more to this the emracer group is a huge
04:42gaming company that buys other games
04:44around the Gaming Community such as Goat
04:46Simulator Tomb Raider and thousands of
04:48other games the reason they buy these
04:49games is because they see a unique
04:51design in some of these games while
04:53seeing all of these they want to
04:55basically improve upon these unique
04:56games that they see and buy and
04:58potentially making way more money than
05:00the current owner which is coeptus and
05:02as we all may know bloxburg may stupidly
05:04amounts of money every month Blacksburg
05:07is obviously the only game on Roblox
05:08with the cleanest role play elements and
05:10cleanest building UI the Eraser group
05:12saw all of the success and saw how
05:14unique blossberg is and how it stands
05:16out from every other game on the
05:18platform and so on December 5th 2022
05:20they bought welcome but then the news
05:23was given to the Roblox Community about
05:25the purchase on December 26 2022. the
05:27community got scary also very upset but
05:30what made them scared and also upset
05:32let's dig a Little Deeper to understand
05:34the community of bloxburg's perspective
05:36number one the huge purchase means that
05:39coleptus who is the owner of bloxburg
05:41won't have as much control over the game
05:43as he once did the only thing co-opters
05:45will realistically be doing is fixing
05:47bugs and telling them hey this is how
05:49some of the things work and that's it
05:51number two the appraiser group will
05:53either ignore the community or listen to
05:55the community and make their ideas to
05:57make the game even finally number three
05:59making blocksberg free wait why was this
06:02a bad thing after the game becomes free
06:04to play and no longer paid access the
06:06game will Skyrocket to be one of the
06:08biggest games on the Roblox platform
06:09outside and inside of Roblox with no
06:12doubt of course this also means the
06:13players who have paid 25 Robux to play
06:16the game will most likely get nothing in
06:18return for the bar on the paid access
06:19version which is what the huge complaint
06:21is about in the community but here's the
06:23main biggest problem a lot of people buy
06:25bloxburg to actually role play inside of
06:27it and this will disrupt the role play
06:29aspect entirely let me use jailbreak as
06:32an example a jailbreak player will come
06:33inside of bloxburg probably spam L at a
06:39you kind of get the idea will this be
06:41the end of bloxburg or will the game do
06:43even better than what kueptus has been
06:45providing us for many years only time
06:47will tell now collect us with his 37
06:50million will most likely live his dream
06:52life as he is a multi-millionaire he's
06:54probably gonna go to a beach touch grass
06:56find the women buy ice cream with them
06:58yeah I I don't know what else you do
06:59with it but women I've never talked to a
07:01woman got the cap this is history for us
07:04because this is the first game to be
07:05bought out for this much money as well
07:07and you can definitely expect way more
07:09Roblox games in the future to be bought
07:11up potentially even jailbreak Brookhaven
07:13or even Bluff boots for way more money
07:15than just 100 million dollars but let's
07:17just hope the embracer group doesn't
07:19ruin the bloxbury economy they could
07:21either upset the community and make the
07:22game horrible or they could do a very
07:24good job I believe that they will
07:26definitely do a great job as coepticism
07:28on the side and he will observe what
07:30they do and probably try to suggest a
07:31few things but he also doesn't have as
07:33much control so we need to remember that
07:35it is scary but who knows bloxburg could
07:37become a way better game let's just hope
