00:00 what's going on everyone so we just had
00:01 the first Tekken talk of like the
00:03 post-launch Tekken 8 game and they
00:05 revealed basically like the future road
00:06 map for a bunch of upcoming updates it
00:08 wasn't like a super big announcement we
00:09 didn't get like any like specifics like
00:11 balance patch updates or like anything
00:12 like that but they did like reveal a
00:14 bunch of the stuff they're working on
00:16 going down the road from like the most
00:17 recent update that's coming soon to like
00:19 some further stuff down the road and it
00:20 ended with an Eddie reveal so I'm just
00:21 going to be quickly recapping that for
00:23 anyone who doesn't want to watch the
00:24 hour and a half because I reacted to it
00:26 live in my stream it was very long it
00:28 was very long and there was a lot of
00:29 fluff so as you can see on the screen
00:31 we're starting with the second official
00:33 update this is going to come they did
00:34 not give us specific date which is very
00:36 important they said between the end of
00:39 February and the beginning of March
00:40 that's what they said is actually pretty
00:42 interesting I like this that they're not
00:44 giving a specific date because they're
00:45 not like pushing deadlines like they're
00:47 like basically saying if we do need more
00:49 time we'll give ourselves more time we
00:50 have like some leeway in this date so no
00:52 specific date yet but as you can see
00:54 there in-game collaboration which
00:55 doesn't whatever there's new feature
00:57 called Tekken shop so there's actually a
00:59 full like ingame shop like like in all
01:02 these other games like this um it's
01:04 basically you pay real life money they
01:06 said it was about $4 per skin so it's
01:09 kind of like similar to a bunch of other
01:10 multiplayer games um in my opinion
01:14 $4 or whatever your currency is but
01:16 it'll be like the equivalent $4 for just
01:18 one skin in Tekken to me is like way
01:21 overpriced but they did say that they're
01:23 using that money to help like develop
01:24 the game and work on costs like that so
01:26 I guess it does make a little bit more
01:28 sense in that respect but yeah fully
01:30 in-game shop they said they're going to
01:31 update it about every month like once
01:33 every month twice every month they're
01:35 gonna be like custom events like they're
01:36 doing the special like unic Colo event
01:39 at first and as you can see in the
01:40 bottom right there's like custom like
01:42 Legacy skins like there's Tekken 4 Jin
01:44 um Tag 2 June so like they're it's going
01:47 to do well like people are going to buy
01:49 that I was talking about it on my stream
01:51 as soon as they add the bikini Raina
01:53 skin that's going to just make millions
01:54 from horny people immediately so much
01:56 money but yeah there's the Tekken shop
01:59 they didn't like I said they didn't go
02:00 over in specific what the balance
02:02 changes would be but they did say a
02:04 couple things as you can see here
02:06 Victor's throw Escape windows are being
02:07 looked at thank God Alysa follow up to
02:09 Brute Force attack I'm going to be
02:10 honest I have no idea I haven't really
02:12 played against any Alysa yet not sure
02:14 about that one and but chain throw is
02:16 becoming unbreakable during a punish is
02:17 also being looked at so these things are
02:19 going to be fixed for the update thank
02:21 God they really need to specifically
02:22 King just getting like 100 damage off of
02:24 a a punish chain throw yeah it's G need
02:27 that needed to be fixed and it's going
02:28 to be fixed which is which is pretty
02:30 great um I'm pretty happy about that in
02:32 terms of other stuff we did get some
02:34 other stuff um mainly there was like
02:36 well they talked about like a lot of
02:37 stuff that's going to be happening in
02:38 the future like a long time in the
02:40 future but some of the more like uh like
02:42 recent stuff that's going to happen they
02:44 said there the next update is going to
02:45 be like an April and there's going to be
02:46 one in May or Beyond um they're adding a
02:49 photo mode they're adding a game quit
02:51 button on the main menu which is
02:52 whatever not a big deal they said that
02:55 the DLC characters will get their own
02:56 story modes like their own like special
02:58 story segments and even if you don't buy
03:00 the character you can still access it so
03:02 they're going to be making I'm guessing
03:03 like new cut scenes new fight scenarios
03:06 but with the DLC characters which is
03:08 pretty cool they also showed as a thing
03:10 of Eddie um on like the home screen so
03:13 you know how Kia is like usually I can
03:15 just show it here I have an image of it
03:17 um they said that it's going to be like
03:20 the latest DLC character is going to be
03:22 on there I think as you can see here
03:23 this is from high buff gigas go check
03:25 him out but they did say they are
03:27 looking into you being able to like
03:29 change to any character you want in the
03:30 future so that could possibly be coming
03:33 later um they they did at least mention
03:35 it so that's something worth noting like
03:37 I said there's a bunch of other like
03:38 crazy stuff they talked about harata was
03:40 saying 3v3 or 5v5 game modes in the
03:43 future that sounds pretty crazy and
03:45 there's the super ghost battle mode
03:47 where like ghosts can fight each other
03:49 like you know how they can like train
03:50 your ghost you can train you play your
03:52 ghost against someone else's ghost
03:53 they're going to add that in the future
03:55 um they mentioned an online training
03:56 mode they're working on so like you can
03:58 play training mode with your friends who
03:59 are like really far away that's a really
04:01 cool update not going to lie I'm that
04:02 that's like that would be amazing um
04:04 they did a whole section talking about
04:06 plugging and how they're working on an
04:08 issue but it's not that simple because
04:10 they don't want to get sued for Banning
04:11 people in my opinion pretty lame um I
04:14 talked about this on stream and I'm
04:15 going to make a full video addressing it
04:17 but in my opinion there's a really
04:18 simple solution to the plugging and
04:20 that's literally just if you plug make
04:21 it just count as a loss you lose 300
04:23 points and your opponent wins 300 super
04:25 simple we don't need to ban people if
04:27 plugging just counts as a loss then no
04:28 one's going to plug anymore I'm purpose
04:30 you don't need to like ban people it's
04:31 just people just stop plugging if they
04:32 lose cuz I think the whole issue of
04:34 plugging is just CU you don't get you
04:35 don't get a loss right so yeah pretty
04:38 disappointing but they did say they're
04:39 looking into it they have a list of
04:41 people that're they're thinking of
04:42 banning right now so be careful you
04:44 don't want to get on Hera's uh her's
04:46 naughty list but that's basically been
04:49 it they did a Showcase of Eddie at the
04:51 very end um I'm going to make a whole
04:52 video on that separately but if you just
04:54 search up like Eddie showcase you'll
04:55 find a ton of that stuff on YouTube he
04:57 looks really cool he has like a new
04:59 level up system like he gets he gains
05:00 levels to make us Attack stronger um
05:03 super cool looking character he's going
05:04 to be very gimmicky I was saying that on
05:06 my stream as well if you're new get
05:07 ready to be cheese a lot and ranked but
05:09 that's the nature of Eddie he's a really
05:10 cool character I'm I'm growing on his
05:12 design a lot more so that's all the
05:14 major stuff that were announced in this
05:15 update pretty much um so I hope you guys
