00:00this build is a giga tank that starts
00:01ramping defense very early the trade-off
00:04for this is that clear speed SL damage
00:06is pretty low early without good gear
00:08however it still clears a decent speed
00:11so far it has been a very smooth
00:12experience point to build up to level 93
00:14in hardcore and probably the most fun
00:16build I play started with the potential
00:17to clear very high corruption with the
00:19right gear recommend checking out the
00:21Maxell guide if you want a deeper dive
00:23on different gear sets and whatnot
00:25however it will be slightly different
00:26than my version I also recommend
00:28checking out their General warlock
00:36warning there is a potential one shot
00:40that happens to you the player not the
00:41enemy in this build the arena areas in
00:45monoliths they spawn these circles that
00:48do do now for some reason the necrotic
00:51one which is like a bluish one will onot
00:54you as it bypasses all of your ward I'm
00:57not sure if this happens with other
00:59Arena circles so I advise not standing
01:02them first source of defense is putrid
01:06recovery this gains Ward whenever you
01:08hit an enemy and it just so happens this
01:10build hits dozens of times a second so
01:13even with basically no Ward investment
01:15this node can give you up to two round
01:182,000 Ward by just spamming your ability
01:21on a single boss now it won't stay there
01:24but as long as you're attacking you'll
01:25have a ton of Ward and is great for
01:27defense early even if you're not Ward
01:30you get tons of HP per hit if you're
01:32Ward based this doesn't really matter
01:35but before you turn into Ward you have a
01:38ton of HP regen you get leech as well as
01:41health gain from chaos bolt you also get
01:43chill and you stack a billion chills and
01:46then eventually it will freeze you can
01:49scale this with freeze rate multiplier
01:51potentially on a blessing curses reduce
01:54damage on enemies huge damage reduction
01:57while channeling ghost flame get minus
02:0040% there get a ton of Ward while
02:03channeling converts Dodge rating to
02:05armor and it gives you a huge flat
02:07amount per intelligence you see 69%
02:11armor it releases a curse on the tree
02:15there is also a node that will give you
02:16more damage reduced from channeling rip
02:20blood gives you extra Ward by taking
02:23this node and then this node which will
02:25increase the health restored per
02:26intelligence giving you a ton of Ward
02:29this is a good option early when you're
02:31switching to Ward just to make sure you
02:32have enough I think in the end end
02:35version of the game you should probably
02:36Swap this out for either Harvest or
02:38transplant but early on it is a good
02:41defense boost on the tree we get some
02:43Ward retention SL threshold we got Ward
02:46threshold Ward Decay
02:50here and then there's a few other nodes
02:53like right here gives Ward retention we
02:56have ex sanguinous this replaces our
02:59health with w W last steps of the living
03:01does basically the same thing the main
03:03thing is it's replacing our HP with W
03:05frostbite shackles gives us a ton of w
03:07retention in the freeze is also nice
03:10Twisted heart converts our HP to Ward
03:12this is so we have an easier time
03:14staying low life because we have so much
03:16health gain on hit even with this it is
03:18kind of hard to sustain low life so you
03:21will not always be low life you will
03:23need another piece of gear with more HP
03:26Ward conversion which will come from an
03:28experimental AIX from Rogue Exile I
03:31believe final unique is B bone clamor
03:34gives W per second per uncapped necrotic
03:37grow the main offense of this build is
03:39generating hundreds of bleed Stacks
03:41potentially up to over a thousand by
03:44using cthonic fissure in conjunction
03:46with chaos bolt first you lay down
03:50cha fissure which releases spirits and
03:53then this node will'll convert the
03:55spirits to chaos bolts we change the
03:57chaos bolts to Fizz damage so it's able
03:59to bleed with the bleed Stacks we're
04:01also self-c casting it to get more as it
04:06auto targets and shoots by itself
04:10leading to a massive amount of bed
04:13enemy we get extra damage per curse on
04:16the Target from here and a few other
04:19sources so we stack a bunch of curses
04:21even if they're not bleed we get bonus
04:24damage from Ghost slam after channeling
04:26it for like a second to get the
04:28decrepify curse which gives 15% more
04:33sources when it does that it's ready to
04:38go we gained various damage bonuses from
04:41being on low life such as here I don't
04:44want to put too many points in though
04:45because this build does have trouble
04:47staying completely low life as we just
04:50get so much life on hit and I don't
04:51believe there's any way around that
04:53other than getting more HP loss per
04:56second from items which I do not have
04:58yet Mana stain now early on it is
05:02basically impossible to fix while
05:03leveling you are going to have Mana
05:05issues up until early end game once you
05:08get to early end game and start getting
05:09your gear it is manageable although it
05:12is still possible to lose all your Mana
05:14if you are not careful with how you cast
05:15your spells so the main ways to sustain
05:18Mana is Devour the damn node gives you
05:20Mana gain against cursed enemies this is
05:23a big help in sustaining cuz you hit so
05:25many times the Colts mind no will give
05:27you more Mana so you don't just run out
05:29soul stealer per curse on enemies it
05:33gives you a chance to gain Mana so this
05:35can stack based on amount of curses and
05:38you have a lot of curses so this helps a
05:40lot as well as various sources of Mana
05:42region around the tree and all in your
05:44gear something also pretty important to
05:46get is the minus spell Mana cost ideally
05:48you would get like an AIX on it to help
05:51sustain it if you can squeeze it in and
05:54also on the konic fissure node which is
05:56the majority of your Mana cost you can
05:58put points in the fr agile crust to
06:00reduce the Mana cost and then
06:02additionally if you are cursed or an
06:04enemy rare SL boss is cursed it will
06:08refund some of the Mana so make sure
06:10when you're doing Maps you curse a ram
06:13monster first before you cast it and it
06:15will refund some of the Mana also don't
06:18waste it on like three monsters or
06:20something or else it'll just be a waste
06:22of mana and it will severely hinder your
06:24clear as you wait for your Mana to regen
06:27here's a planner that I made the order
06:29the passives you should take now beware
06:34this node drains your HP so if you're
06:36not using something like rip blood or
06:39you don't have the HP on hit chaos bolt
06:41stuff you should not take this node
06:43right away you don't have to do this
06:45exact order either if you see anything
06:47that would help you in the moment don't
06:49be afraid to take it this game is very
06:51flexible in terms of what you should
06:53pick blessings with this build are
06:56pretty flexible you're pretty much going
06:58to just be capping your resistance
06:59resistances you need however if you get
07:01good enough gear you can probably swap
07:03the resistances for some other benefits
07:05like fizz shred or freeze ray important
07:09affixes to look for on your gear not
07:10necessarily an order of importance plus
07:13skill levels intelligence HP crit
07:15avoidance cast speed Ward per second
07:17ward retention damage over time Fizz
07:19damage Fizz pen and then various other
07:22acolyte things such as bleed penetration
07:25and bleed duration look for HP bleed
07:27chance any dot damage Ward retention
07:30resistances stuff like that you're going
07:32to want to look for things with Ward
07:34Decay threshold SL Ward retention or
07:37Ward per second of the build is first
07:39you cast Spirit plague to get the
07:40initial curse on which will give you a
07:42ton of Ward on hit and some additional
07:44bleed Stacks then you can Sonic fissure
07:47start your main damage hold Shadow flame
07:53that like that see that okay once it
07:58does that you get 15% more damage and
08:00then you just hold right click and your
08:01right click will refresh curse duration
08:03so you don't have to worry about
08:04recursing they will be permanent as long
08:07as they are getting hit that includes
08:09your spirit bolts or C bolts whatever
08:12they're called from theic f as
08:15well so the way Ward generation Works in
08:18this build is we have these uniques that
08:20is converting our health to Ward
08:23essentially the main two is ex sangon
08:25and last steps of the living these are
08:28the two that you need if you want to
08:30swap at the absolute earliest you need
08:33these two things ideally you have bone
08:35clamor and Frostbite shackles as well
08:38frostbite shackles is really easy to
08:40Target bone clamor is a little bit
08:43harder we want our health to be as low
08:45as possible that's what the current
08:47health loss per second is for that being
08:49said if you are mapping and your health
08:51is filling up because you don't have
08:53enough Health loss you will lose Ward
08:56because you're not gaining any if your
08:58health is full that is the problem the
09:00main problem to solve in the build now
09:04it's not completely solved for me but
09:05it's mostly solved Twisted heart does a
09:08good job at solving this without Twisted
09:10heart you will pretty much constantly be
09:13on full HP now you can still swap toward
09:15and is probably still better than life
09:18you get EX sanguinous for the chest
09:19piece this is from blood Frost and death
09:21timeline unique body armor nodes then
09:24the last steps of living boots which is
09:27also from the blood Frost and
09:29timeline but it's from the final boss
09:31frostbite shackles which is from the
09:33final boss of the same timeline and then
09:35Twisted heart which is from Reign of
09:38dragons final boss bone clamor which is
09:41the black Sun timeline unique helmet and
09:44then two things which I'm not using
09:46right now will be your unique Shield you
09:50can either get Flare's Pride for damage
09:52what I recommend doing is using this for
09:54bossing because this gives Health gain
09:56on kill for mapping this will make it
09:58very hard to sustain low life and then
10:01also life's journey for mapping this
10:06will lose more health help you sustain
10:09low life and also apply Spirit plague on
10:11melee hit if you click the Harvest node
10:15in chaos bolts which will give you a
10:18chance to attack with Harvest per decks
10:20you don't need that much decks like 10
10:22just whatever you get from blown clamour
