00:01Warships today we're taking a look at
00:03the Michelangelo this is the new
00:06dockyard ship this is a tier n Italian
00:10Cruiser that is very secondary focused
00:12it is a very very weird ship but this
00:15dockyard is going to run throughout
00:17Christmas and through January I would
00:19assume it's going to be 32 phases and
00:22you can buy five phases for 6,000 to
00:25balloons 10 phases for 10,000 to Bloons
00:28and the cheapest way to get it is is
00:30through that five-phase option for 6,000
00:32bons keep in mind that is only available
00:35at the start as always with these
00:37dockyards they're trying to force you to
00:39buy in early and then if you don't
00:41finish it at the end well then those
00:43deons were kind of wasted right uh
00:46that's kind of the whole idea behind a
00:47dockyard right so keep that in mind if
00:49you don't have a lot of time we'll see
00:51if this ship is uh worth grinding for
00:54but it really does look like a secondary
00:57Cruiser here a lot like Napoli we have
00:59the these sap secondaries here the 90
01:01mil ones but we also get a bunch of
01:04these 152s they almost look like main
01:06guns they're actually located in the
01:09main Gun Slots here right at the front
01:10of the ship kind of insane so I think
01:13the weird part of this ship is going to
01:16be trying to make use of these main guns
01:18in the middle of your ship well uh
01:20trying not to die because the armor is
01:23not as good as the napol as we can see
01:25here no ice breaker here and uh much
01:28much larger areas of 25 mil plating that
01:31said we do have more HP right we do have
01:3466,000 HP and our secondary DPM is
01:37actually slightly better than the Napoli
01:40is we only get 10 1 12 km of range
01:43instead of 11 like on a full built
01:45Napoli but still tier 9 with these
01:48secondaries I think could be pretty
01:50insane our concealment is 11 km but we
01:53do struggle with ruter shift a little
01:55bit here um this can be improved further
01:57I have gone with prop mod as I usually
01:59do but we might have to swap that out
02:02Torpedoes are only 8 km this time um but
02:04their damage output is actually pretty
02:06high and they're very very fast so keep
02:08that in mind the torps are a little
02:10scarier at closer ranges we of course
02:12also get the fuel smoke or exhaust smoke
02:15here it allows us to just play within
02:17our smoke doesn't matter whatever speed
02:19we're going this will cover us for 48
02:22seconds at least with this build we do
02:24get a hydro as well a 5 km Hydro feels
02:26pretty nice to have a little more
02:28comfortable to play around submarines as
02:30well as just generally getting torped
02:32out as you're pushing in the build of
02:34gone withd of course is a full secondary
02:36build here at least to start with we
02:38might need to try out these 320 mm guns
02:41running a more gun focused build we do
02:44get sap on those big guns so that's a
02:46lot of damage over 10,000 Alpha damage
02:49on those sap guns that could be pretty
02:51insane the AP also does some pretty nice
02:53damage as well uh so we do have some
02:55pretty highly damaging main guns they
02:58might be worth using at tier 9 here we
03:00do get a little easier Matchmaker but I
03:02have mostly gone in with secondaries
03:04Pack-a-Punch here of course as well as
03:06top grade Gunner giving us that extra
03:08range and reload so that's all for the
03:10build let's see what I can do in a few
03:13games so for starters with this ship
03:15it's very obvious we're meant to be
03:17pushing in aggressively these main guns
03:19do both rotate based on being pushing
03:23forward um they're going to have to
03:25rotate the Long Way unfortunately if you
03:27are kiing away so you do want to be
03:30pushing in this ship torpedo angles are
03:33okay here I would say but we certainly
03:35are uh going to have to show a lot of
03:37broadside for the torps as well as these
03:39main guns actually I find uh it a little
03:43odd to not be able to shoot forwards but
03:46I guess that's the secondary's job
03:49right um we are spotted here that's a
03:53unfortunate okay hayate let's
03:55go in comp out wide that's pretty bad
04:01okay main gun sap secondary
04:05sap okay 2,000 damage yeah so the 90 mil
04:09guns just have ridiculous arcs as
04:15but oh that's bad for us hey we got a
04:18hydro at least right hyro are
04:23nice let's see can we shoot this guy
04:25again no we can't at least not with the
04:28main guns all right we do Dodge the
04:30Torpedoes at least yeah you got to show
04:32a lot of broadside to get those main
04:34guns off on people that is
04:39unfortunate even here I can't even shoot
04:43now how awkward is that uh let's see do
04:47we have a battleship Crossing no doesn't
04:50it reverse out this smoke should help us
04:53out for a little bit here I actually
04:55didn't check our smoke fire what are we
04:56at 11.1 okay so we're not not quite as
05:00insane as like a Napoli when it comes to
05:05smoke so that is a little trick here oh
05:09radar that's awkward for us I was kind
05:12of getting ready for the schling look at
05:14that the '90s even trying to shoot over
05:17crazy the incom could be a problem for
05:22us oh the's just out of
05:26range and we still can't shoot our uh
05:30even at this angle wow that's
05:35tricky okay we'll shoot and hopefully we
05:37stay dark nice yeah so 111 is going to
05:41be a little awkward to use we'll
05:44say we'll send some torps if the crch T
05:46pushes we are risking quite a lot just
05:50here especially since our team is kind
05:55away but I want to I want a limit test
05:58let's see what we we can do
06:05here will get out of range on us that
06:09fine the shell velocity is actually
06:11really really poor on these main guns H
06:16very weird very weird ship to play I
06:18will say it doesn't feel well I haven't
06:21played it enough but it seems to not
06:25Appley which is a good thing I was kind
06:27of worried it would just feel like an NA
06:30really quickly oh this could hurt
06:33ban again we have very easily overmatch

08:57the angle as well for those secondaries
09:06though how do those 150s hit decently

09:27do a lot of damage keep in mind you know

13:54H 80k from secondaries in that case
14:00so the idea here really is I guess just
14:01to full send it into

18:46aggressive there but hey I think that's
18:49a pretty decent result that first one
18:52especially can limit test a bit this
18:55thing definitely has a citadel unlike
18:57Napoli we definitely have a
19:02citadel suppose it is
19:05spaced yeah okay yeah above water
19:07Citadel by quite a lot actually no
19:09Turtle back so you're going to you're
19:11going to eat some pretty big pain if
19:14broadside but hey this thing is pretty
19:17nuts with the secondaries I'm really
19:19surprised we didn't kill the Shima there
19:21that seems like exactly what this ship
19:24is designed to do um to just secondary
19:27down DDS like that at close range but
19:30okay main guns are kind of junk if you
19:33don't build for them obviously we're not
19:35doing anything with range or accuracy on
19:38them or reload so yeah it's all into the
19:41secondary range and accuracy and reload
19:44at least for this build might have to
19:46try more main gun cuz 320 mil saamp
19:48could be just ridiculous if you build
19:50for it um but for now I think it is a
19:53bit of a secondary ship it's probably
19:56not as good as Napoli just just because
19:58the armor isn't quite there but if you
20:00pick the right times to push as you can
20:02see uh you can do some pretty nasty
20:05stuff with this ship um limit testing
20:08though it does seem that close range to
20:10battleships not the best idea do try and
20:12avoid those and uh yeah the main guns
20:16are awkward on this thing at least with
20:18Napoli you are shooting your main guns
20:20even if it is mostly a secondary ship it
20:21kind of plays itself this ship really
20:24feels like it just kind of plays itself
20:25you're mostly positioning it
20:28and then the guns are going to do the
20:30rest uh the secondaries that is so there
20:32you go this is the dockyard ship uh let
20:34me know what you think are you planning
20:36on going for this one if you do have an
20:38Napoli already this is pretty similar
20:40ground uh and if you are interested in
20:43this ship or Napoli Napoli probably is
20:45just better even though it is a tier
20:46higher I do think that extra armor is
20:49going to be a big deal although that
20:51said we were kind of up tiered both
20:52games super ships and then that second
20:54game was mostly tier 10 so the prospect
20:57of fighting against uh tier sevens and
21:00tier eights as this thing is kind of
21:01ridiculous actually considering how well
21:03we did as uh as a bottom tier ship so
