00:00I'm I'm okay I'm okay I'm I'm fine it's
00:04just I have like okay for those of you
00:06that know and don't know uh I have a
00:10port uh and for those you that don't
00:12know what a port is a port is an
00:15implanted device inside of your chest
00:19that sits underneath the skin uh and
00:22it's anchored usually to the collar
00:24Moone and then it has a catheter in it
00:26and it threads into your heart uh so
00:29that when when you get medication you
00:32get medication through that little uh
00:35device somebody puts a needle in the
00:38skin in your chest and then the needle
00:40sits there and it's connected to a
00:42machine and it brings your medicine into
00:44your into the catheter in your heart so
00:47I have one of those on uh I have one of
00:50those on and uh I get I get medicine all
00:54time I got medicine all the time so uh
00:59some times uh I think I think lately
01:03because I've been moving around a bit
01:05more and I tried using my tread Moon
01:07stuff sometimes the device like shifts
01:10around it could also shift around when
01:11you like when you do exercise or when
01:14you uh when you lose weight and stuff
01:18when you have weight changes and
01:24around so sometimes it shifts around and
01:28mine shifted around a little bit but not
01:30too much and then I guess
01:33like I like when I put on my medicine
01:36earlier I forgot to like close my line
01:39there's usually like a little what do
01:41you call that like a little uh thing
01:43that stops the line that you can close
01:45it and it like it closes the tube
01:51right it closes the tube I forgot to
01:54close the tube and I guess like because
01:56I've been like moving around
02:00uh my my endcap like got unscrewed kind
02:04of and I had the tube open so because
02:07the catheter is connected into your
02:10heart sometimes your heart blood comes
02:13out of the tube sometimes your heart
02:15blood like comes out and it just starts
02:17dripping out and I didn't notice that it
02:20was happening until we're watching the
02:25video we're watching the video and I and
02:28I felt like I was kind of like I was
02:30like why do I feel wet and I look down
02:33oh oops and I'm I'm like blood is like
02:38over just like coming
02:41out so I had to I had to change my shirt
02:44and and change my tubing and do all this
02:47stuff and and uh get it fixed and stuff
02:51leak I sprung a leak sprung a
02:55leak you watched your pork getting
02:57stitched into your Cloud dude I they
03:00didn't let me watch oh mousy you're such
03:05heart i' I've had a few poor insulations
03:08and like I think like two of them I was
03:10like totally put put to sleep and then
03:12one I was just like under I went under
03:17up and they like put a sheet over my
03:24see I thought it was
03:27dreaming I know I wanted to see
03:32I wanted to see man they they like cut
03:34open my chest and they were just like
03:37working in there and no I just wanted to
03:39see what was in there I wanted to take a
03:41look well so yeah I I have a I have one
03:44of those uh I have a port thingy mine is
03:50titanium when I got when I got it
03:53installed they gave me they gave me like
03:54a license for it like I have a card with
03:57registration and like
04:00the serial number and like everything
04:03about it cuz like you know if you I I
04:06don't go anywhere but you know if you go
04:07to the airport and you travel you need
04:09just show it to them because it'll set
04:13metal it's a device people be like what
04:16the is that get down on the ground freak
04:19this is like I think this is my this is
04:22like my fifth one I've had five of them
04:26cuz what they what people don't know
04:28typically what when a person has a port
04:30it's for a limited time also people
04:33usually a lot of people with who go
04:35through chemotherapy have them you know
04:37because it's easier uh and also also
04:40because chemo you can't do chemo through
04:41the veins cuz it's very like harsh you
04:44can't do it through your normal veins it
04:45has to be through through the
04:49artery it's very bad for
04:52you but you know there are people like
04:54me that use it all the time and because
04:56I'm always accessed and I use it all the
04:58time my port like dies faster like it it
05:03the wear and tear it's supposed to last
05:06like 5 years like at least five years
05:11and I I since I use it every day I I go
05:17fast you have to Ure such cybernetic
05:21equipment it's covered by my
05:26insurance the closest I had was having a
05:28pick line for my ke I fuing hate pick
05:31lines I've had so many pick lines in my
05:33life and they've given me nothing but
05:35problems you can't like if you're an
05:38imuno compromised person having a pick
05:40line is the worst thing that you can
05:42have cuz they can get infected so e so
05:45much easier than a port they get
05:48infected pretty pretty
05:50fast I've had several of them and
05:53they're very painful every time I've had
05:55them they're very painful to deal
05:57with what the heck are pigl a p line is
06:01a central line it's a type of line that
06:03they put in your body uh that's threaded
06:06into your heart and it's like big tubing
06:08and they usually put it either in your
06:10arm like in in the inside of your arm
06:14and it threads all the way into your
06:16heart and it just like comes out of your
06:19skin cuz they put it in through the
06:20major artery of your arm into your
06:25heart I'm scar you I'm sorry if I'm
06:27scaring you it it does sound terrify
06:29Ying it is terrifying I'm not going to
06:31lie when I first started like getting
06:32very very sick and like I started having
06:35to go through Pig lines and like all
06:37this other [ __ ] I was very scared it was
06:40very scary it was very scary cuz it you
06:42don't know what to expect and you've
06:43never been through that before and it's
06:44really scary but then after a while it's
06:50anothering tuol I got in
06:52there modern medicine is terrifying it
06:56is terrifying but you know what we've
06:58come so far and and I think it's great
07:00that people like me can survive like to
07:03be old because back then uh we would die
07:09fast cuz we just didn't have the
07:11resources we didn't have the knowledge
07:13or or technology to to help with things
07:18this as opposed with old medicine yes we
07:22humors we must balance the humors give
07:25me let me get the the red oil in your
07:27body and the yellow oil we got to get
07:31out like I have a I have a 1in needle in
07:34my chest like right now it's just there
07:37I don't really think about it cuz I've
07:39had I've been on this for so long and
07:40I've been like uh sick for so long that
07:45to me it's just like it's just there but
07:48I remember when I first started getting
07:49like uh access in my port like it would
07:52freak me out it just freaked me out
07:54knowing there was something inside of my
07:57chest I hate needles me too me too I'm
08:01glad that I don't get stuck a lot
08:02anymore I just get stuck once and they
08:05just put in my chest and that's it I
08:07think I find that far more far more
08:10better than having to get stick stuck in
08:12my arm multiple times cuz I used to have
08:14to get stuck a lot cuz I have very bad
08:17veins from overuse so now I have the
08:21port thingy and I just get access one
08:24time and then people pull out blood they
08:25put in medicine they pull out blood you
08:27know it's it's in there also the good
08:30thing about ports is after a while you
08:32lose feeling in the area because you get
08:33stuck with needles there so many times
08:36that the nerves all die and then you
08:38don't feel the needle going anymore
08:40after about like several months you
08:42don't even feel it anymore if you do
08:44feel it and it hurts that means it's in
08:48wrong which can happen sometimes you can
08:51one time a nurse was really oh my God
08:54I'm very sorry for talking about a nurse
08:56I because I know that you guys are
08:57overworked and I respect nurse so much
08:59but I had this dumbass nurse one time
09:02that she didn't know how to she didn't
09:04know how to put a needle in a port and
09:06she ended up bending the needle inside
09:08of me cuz she didn't know how to put it
09:10in and I'm just like Jesus
09:12Christ it was the most excruciating pain
09:18crazy I just don't understand why you
09:20would tell people that you know how to
09:22how to access aort when you don't don't
09:24lie on your resume people
09:27please oh oh you used to inject yourself
09:30in the tummy with blood thinners me too
09:32I used to have to take the blood
09:34thinners all the time in my tummy I had
09:36to inject myself they do it they give it
09:39to you especially when you when you know
09:41when you're bed all the time I had to
09:44inject my tummy every
09:46day and I bruise really easily so I've
09:50always had like a bruised up tummy all
09:53time m not alone I'm not alone I have
10:00I was born with a CLE pallet and I
10:02thought my surgeries were bad but fun
10:05fact I have my hip bone in the roof of
10:07my mouth whoa that's crazy that modern
10:17cool yeah I think dude I think about
10:19that too sometimes I like so I have to
10:22get regular I get x-rays to like check
10:25for stuff and every time I see my port
10:27in my x-ray I'm like
10:30damn I I remember that that's
10:33there I'm like oh and then you see the
10:36little the little catheter going into my
10:40like is it is that to remove fluid oh I
10:44have a catheter in my heart to put
10:50there cuz I got to get medicine through
10:53there cuz I've been sick for a long time
10:56and oral medicines don't work well on me
10:59I feel like now after a long time my
11:02stomach is slowly repairing itself so I
11:05might be able to start taking more oral
11:07medication again but I take a lot of
11:10strong stuff that can't be taken
11:13orally P says medication
11:17yes the first time I heard she had a
11:19port I thought it was a
11:22USB hell yeah put my USB port in
11:29yeah I can charge my phone with my
11:32boob can you imagine I wish
