00:03this is going to be my spells Slinger
00:04Arcane guide for the beta so first off
00:07standard disclaimer this is beta things
00:09will change in fact they'll probably
00:10change within a week from now so enjoy
00:12it while it lasts uh number two we don't
00:14have Sims for this so this is going to
00:16just be based on my own findings based
00:18on basically fely craft right we don't
00:20actually know how to play this but I've
00:22been looking at logs I've been talking
00:23with other players and I also have over
00:24a decade of experience playing Mage so I
00:27think I have a pretty good idea or at
00:28least as good of an idea as you could
00:30have at this point of which talents are
00:32good and uh and how to play it and
00:34you'll see that too represented in the
00:36actual performance here cuz I'm showing
00:38you my damage basically uh in these raid
00:41bosses so that you can see like how
00:43arcane Stacks up um and just like how
00:45powerful it is obviously tuning is just
00:47way out of control right now this thing
00:49is going to get nerfed 100% but um I
00:52just want to show you how to play it so
00:53you can enjoy it while it lasts and
00:54because I think it's actually really fun
00:56like even if the numbers get adjusted
00:58down and some of the bugs are fix
01:00because there are some bugs I think
01:02they're maybe a little overblown in
01:03terms of uh what people think is causing
01:05the damage I think a lot of it's maybe
01:07just due to high tuning but um once they
01:09fix some of the bugs both positive and
01:11negative I think that this game play is
01:13going to be really really solid because
01:15Spell slinger just is super fun to play
01:16like you you'll see in the background
01:18I'm just constantly shooting out these
01:20Arcane orbs um constantly firing Arcane
01:22barges I mean it really does feel like
01:24you're slinging those spells all right
01:26so this is going to be how your Spell
01:28slinger Arcane Mage looks in the War
01:30within and as you can see we're going to
01:31get a ton of these little Arcane
01:32splinters those things fly out they give
01:34us resources they do a ton of damage and
01:36this opener has a ton of AOE burst it's
01:39very very strong right now definitely
01:40overtuned I think they're definitely
01:42going to tune this one down a bit uh but
01:43as you can see we're just sending out a
01:45ton of abilities Arcane charges you get
01:47those all the time with this we also
01:49send out Arcane orbs automatically so a
01:51lot of this is passive a lot of it's
01:52automatic but it looks super flashy
01:55really awesome does a ton of damage in
01:56AOE and single Target uh but what we're
01:58going to do here is we're going to break
02:00down the rotation I'm going to pause at
02:02certain intervals so I can explain my
02:03thought process and which ability is
02:05coming next and then after we talk about
02:06the rotation I'm going to going to give
02:08you a deep dive into the talents the
02:10hero talents Mastery Arcane charges Etc
02:13so you can hopefully understand the
02:14context here and and get why the
02:16decisions are being made this way uh and
02:18then we'll also talk about how you're
02:19supposed to play this if you don't run
02:20siphon storm as well because that is an
02:22option you do not have to run evocation
02:24so I want to start you off with just a
02:26quick explainer and also a sample of the
02:28rotation for Arcane consider this your
02:30tldr we're going to go into way way
02:32further depth so if anything in here
02:34doesn't make sense just know that I will
02:35explain it later uh I just want to give
02:37you just a quick understanding of this
02:39okay so Arcane has two resources it's
02:41got mana and it's got Arcane charges you
02:43going have four charges and your Mana
02:45bar is obviously something you want to
02:46not run out of but there are ways that
02:48we get Mana back uh so we want to
02:50generate charges a lot of different ways
02:52to do that this build will primarily do
02:53it through Arcane missiles and Arcane
02:55orb but we can also generate them
02:57through Arcane blast this ability will
02:58deal 60% increase damage for each Arcane
03:00charge that's further increased with our
03:02Mastery it's also going to have a
03:04reduced cast time and it's going to cost
03:05more Mana uh this is one of the main
03:07ways we spend our Mana okay and then we
03:09also have Arcane orb which we're going
03:11to be procing all the time through Spell
03:12slinger we also have talent still procet
03:14too uh but this also gives us Arcane
03:16charges uh we have Arcane explosion
03:18which is an AOE ability it's instant
03:20cast but it will also generate a charge
03:22if it hits an enemy um and we have the
03:24way that we spend our Arcane charges
03:26which is Arcane BR so Arcane br will
03:28deal 30% increase damage per Arcane
03:30charge and then there's a ton of talents
03:32that also affect it and also our Mastery
03:34is going to further increase that that's
03:35why it says 33% here on the tool tip
03:37when it comes to our cooldowns uh some
03:39of these are talents that we may not
03:40always pick but the ones that we will
03:42always have are Arcane Surge and touch
03:44of the Magi Arcane surge is going to
03:46spend all of our mana and it's going to
03:48give us this crazy buff that basically
03:49fills up our Mana instantly it's also
03:51going to generate clear casting and it's
03:53going to make us do a ton more damage
03:55and we pretty much want to use this on
03:57cool down touch of the Magi is uh a dam
03:59accumulator we put out on the target
04:01it's going to instantly generate four
04:03Arcane charges it's going to gain damage
04:05as it's out think of it like you're
04:06you're charging it up as it's out and
04:08then it's going to pop at the end and
04:09there are other talents also that we
04:11want to use to make this deal increase
04:13damage and give us other opportunities
04:15while it's out evocation is a talent
04:17that we'll only really pick if we are
04:18specked into siphon storm which is in a
04:21way kind of like a cool down to uh it's
04:23basically going to be like an INT
04:24steroid it also generates an Arcane
04:26charge we're always going to get a clear
04:28casting from it as well but yeah the
04:29idea with evocation is we just want to
04:31pair this with our Arcane surge so every
04:34minute and a half roughly we're going to
04:36be using evocation into Arcane surge
04:38into touch of the Magi and then between
04:41those intervals we're also going to be
04:43using just touch of the Magi on its own
04:45another cool down we're going to be
04:46using is Shifting power uh this is cool
04:48down reduction and it's also going to
04:50generate splinters for us we pretty much
04:51want to use shifting power as soon as we
04:53can outside of the Arcane surge buff
04:56presence of mind is just going to be
04:57instant Arcane blast you really don't
04:59have to use this t all buts nice for
05:00movement and uh we have to take it if we
05:02go siphon storm anyways okay so let's
05:05break down that opener you saw at the
05:06start of the video so before the pull I
05:08want to use Mirror Image just so I don't
05:09get threat this will pause my thread
05:11essentially and then I'm going to pre-
05:13evocation this is obviously me playing
05:15siphon storm so this evocation is going
05:16to do three different things number one
05:18it's going to give me clear casting
05:19that's this pink parenthesis here number
05:21two it's going to give me one Arcane
05:23charge one of four I need to have four
05:24to go into my cool Downs number three it
05:27will also give me a buff siphon storm
05:29will increase my int so I'm going to
05:31have a lot more damage and that's going
05:32to last for 20 seconds so it'll be up
05:33for all my cool Downs so as this
05:35evocation finishes we are still before
05:37the boss has been pulled so I'm going to
05:39pre-cast an Arcane blast this is going
05:40to hit as the boss is being pulled so
05:43once this Arcane blast finishes I'm
05:44going to have two Arcane charges I still
05:46need two more all right so let's break
05:48down that rotation you saw earlier so
05:50before the pull I want to use Mirror
05:51Image just so I don't get threat I'm
05:52going to do a ton of burst I don't want
05:53to pull the boss and I'm also going to
05:55cast evocation before the pull this is
05:57obviously only if I'm playing siphon
05:58storm now this evocation is going to do
06:00three things for us number one it's
06:01going to give us a free clear casting
06:03that's this parenthesis right here
06:04number two it's also going to give us an
06:06Arcane charge number three it is also
06:08going to give us a buff all right we're
06:10going to have more int for 20 seconds
06:11and that's going to stack with all of
06:12our other damage modifiers so uh yeah
06:15we're just going to get a lot more burst
06:16out of this thing now before the boss is
06:17pulled I'm also going to pre-cast an
06:19Arcane blast right here as this Arcane
06:21blast finishes normally what you would
06:22do is Arcane orb this would guarantee
06:25that you have four charges because I'm
06:26going to get one charge from the blast
06:27two charges from the orb and now I'm
06:29ready to s cool Downs however if you do
06:31that on the war within you're actually
06:32missing out on a ton of value very very
06:34bad to do this because we have a new
06:37Talent called magn spark and it's going
06:38to duplicate the first Arcane barrage
06:41that hits the target okay so this Arcane
06:43blast is going to finish and this
06:44missile very likely that this is going
06:47to give me two Arcane charges but the
06:48other thing it's going to give me is two
06:50nether Precision Stacks uh and there is
06:52actually more to it as well so as this
06:54missiles finishes couple things are
06:56happening right Arcane debilitation on
06:58the Target Target's taking more Damage
07:00Big Brain buff we have more int Arcane
07:02Harmony we're going to end up with eight
07:03stacks of this so that's going to be 5%
07:06more damage on our next Arcane brush per
07:07stack remember it's duplicating the
07:09Arcane brush so that's going to be
07:10double value and on top of that we also
07:12don't have to spin the Arcane orb and
07:14using Arcane orbs inside of our
07:15cooldowns is very very good we actually
07:17get double the value of splinters out of
07:19orb during Arcane surge so it's much
07:20better to use those orbs inside of our
07:22cool Downs as opposed to before so as
07:24this missiles is finishing I'm just
07:25praying that I reach four charges here
07:27uh each missile has a chance to procet
07:29most of the time it does proc though so
07:30as you can see here it finishes I get my
07:32for charge and now we are ready to go
07:34all systems go so we're going to use our
07:36trinket our potion everything else we
07:38have and we're going to start our Arcane
07:40surge cast right here so Arcane surge is
07:42coming out and as this Arcane surge is
07:44finishing I want to make sure I'm
07:46queuing up an Arcane barrage the Arcane
07:47barrage will be sent from the Arcane
07:49Surge and before it makes contact with
07:51the target dummy I'm going to instantly
07:53press touch of the Magi so basically
07:55there's going to be three things
07:56happening at the same time here Arcane
07:58surge will finish arcane barrage will
08:00leave my hands touch of the Magi will be
08:01applied to the Target touch of the Magi
08:03is off the gcd it's instant okay so I'm
08:06I'm spamming the Arcane brage and as
08:08soon as the Arcane brage goes off I'm
08:10instantly pressing touch of the Magi
08:11here so here it happens the Arcane surge
08:14finishes you notice how I have no
08:16charges here okay in just a moment
08:18you're going to notice that I now have
08:19four charges again because touch of the
08:21Magi goes out so the spell is in the air
08:23okay Arcane surge goes off touch of the
08:26Magi applies to the Target I have four
08:28charges now and would you look at that I
08:29have another Precision for an Arcane
08:31barrage here perfect setup right this is
08:33another benefit of doing the uh Arcane
08:35missiles on the opener here is both the
08:37barges are getting that 20% damage
08:39increase so I'm going to send this
08:40barrage here since I've got four charges
08:42and one nether Precision perfect
08:43situation so we send that barrage and
08:45then after this I now have no Arcane
08:47charges I have no nether Precision so
08:50the obvious answer is I need to press
08:51Arcane missiles that's going to give me
08:53a chance at Arcane charges and it's also
08:55going to give me two uh nether Precision
08:57Buffs as well so we send the Arcane
09:00now I'm looking at the situation and
09:02it's hard to react in real time because
09:03obviously I can't pause it whenever I'm
09:05actually playing so at this moment what
09:06I'm going to do is make a split decision
09:09if I see I'm at two charges I'm going to
09:10send an orb if I if I see I'm at three
09:13then what I'm going to do is use an
09:14Arcane blast into an Arcane barrage and
09:16if I end up with four I'm just going to
09:17press Arcane barrage okay so at this
09:19exact moment I'm basically choosing
09:20between three options in real time so as
09:23this finishes I see I have two okay it's
09:25orb time so we send the orb right here
09:27that brings us to four charges and now I
09:29have have my nether Precision ready so
09:31right here I'm going to send this
09:32barrage this is going to have four
09:33Arcane charges and my two nether
09:35Precision Buffs so I'll get 20% more
09:37damage here plus the four charges and
09:39everything else I have plus Arcane
09:41Harmony yada yada so this barrage is
09:43going to hit and then after that barrage
09:45uh now I want to use my Arcane or but I
09:47notice I get a four-piece bonus proc
09:49here so that's what this little pink
09:51square is so what the four piece bonus
09:53is going to do for me is it's going to
09:54increase the damage on my next Arcane
09:55barrage and it's going to make that
09:56Arcane barrage return for Arcane charges
09:59to me so what I want to do here is I
10:01want to get to four charges and I want
10:03to send that barrage and then I want to
10:05make sure I have nether Precision up
10:06because having nether Precision up for
10:08every Arcane barrage if I can manage it
10:10is really really nice right if I end up
10:11with four charges and I don't have
10:13another Precision usually I just send
10:15the barrage but if I have the four piece
10:16bonus it's going to be 20% on top of
10:18everything else so it seems like it's
10:19more uh more beneficial to have that
10:22nether Precision buff so right here uh
10:24what I'm going to do is cind the Arcane
10:25orb that brings me up to four charges
10:27now I have another precision and I have
10:29have my Arcane barrage buff up I'm going
10:30to send this Arcane barrage and it will
10:32immediately return four charges that's
10:33why you see the charges haven't changed
10:35here right here I don't have another
10:36Precision but I do have four Arcane
10:38charges so I'm just going to send this
10:41here and then now I'm back to having two
10:44Arcane charges no nether Precision so
10:46obviously in this case since I have the
10:47clear casting I'm going to send my
10:49Arcane missiles but there is one thing
10:51that I need to make sure I do before
10:53this touch of the Magi ends which is I
10:55need to make sure I actually get one
10:56Arcane blast in this thing in order to
10:58proc the big hit at the end of Magny
11:00spark I need to do one Arcane blast also
11:02the one Arcane blast I send is going to
11:04duplicate damage so it's generally
11:05better to have this thing be like a
11:07three four charge Arcane blast uh so
11:09right here I send the missiles like I
11:10was talking about I do a pom Arcane
11:12blast to make sure I get it in right
11:13there at the last second because touch
11:15Magi only has 3 seconds left uh and then
11:17right here I've got nether Precision
11:19buff zero Arcane charges but I don't
11:21have an Arcane orb available so what I
11:23do instead of casting another Arcane
11:26blast at zero charges which would do
11:28basically no damage I'm just going to
11:29opt to press Arcane missiles I've got
11:31three clear casting anyway so why not
11:33and that brings me up to the four
11:35charges I need so now I can send that
11:36barrage again and all of this is
11:38happening in the last two seconds of
11:39touch of the Magi so I'm getting a lot
11:41of extra value at the very end there the
11:45boom and then touch of the Magi pops and
11:47I still have a little bit of Arcane
11:48surge left so I'm just going to use a
11:51Arcane missiles I'm going to try to do
11:52two Arcane blast into Arcane barage here
11:54but I also have shifting power right
11:56here I shifting power
12:00so once you do the shifting power what
12:01you're going to do is go into kind of
12:03like a repeated rotation it's always
12:05going to be kind of the same thing
12:06unless you get procs so it's going to be
12:08an Arcane missile into two Arcane blasts
12:10and then you're going to cue a barrage
12:12from that second cast the reason why you
12:14want to do it this way is because it
12:16should basically guarantee that you
12:17always get three valuable spells off
12:20during that nether Precision instead of
12:21two cuz it's two charges but you get
12:23three right because you're queuing the
12:25Arcane barrage from the blast both of
12:27them benefit from NE Precision there uh
12:29so you see me use missiles here into
12:31double Arcane blast I did get a
12:33four-piece buff here so I'm going to go
12:34ahead and try to use this buff right now
12:37just s need the brage on its
12:39own but again it's just missiles into
12:41double blast into brage missiles into
12:44double blast into brush and what I'm
12:46paying attention to here is my touch of
12:48the Magi cool down that is going to
12:50determine basically the Cadence of this
12:51entire rotation is touch of the Magi I
12:54want to make sure that I send all my
12:56cool Downs whenever I'm able to cue that
12:57touch of the Magi from the Arcane surge
13:00it's very important that you don't
13:02offset these a little bit because it's
13:03going to really really mess you up uh
13:05and it's also important that you get
13:06this touch of the Magi off as soon as
13:08possible so that it lines up for your
13:09next Arcane surge as you're line up all
13:11of these Coons right the evocation into
13:13the Arcane surge into the barrage touch
13:15of the Magi it's got to be like that
13:16every time so right here um I have my
13:20nether Precision buff and I'm going to
13:22actually send this so one thing I like
13:24to do actually is I like to get two
13:26nether Precision Buffs for touch of the
13:28Magi because if I do it that way I can
13:30basically send backtack barges with
13:32nether Precision so again having a big
13:35Arcane Barrage at the start of your
13:36touch of the Magi it's pretty important
13:38because it's going to duplicate the
13:39damage you want to be as big as possible
13:41here so I'm going to send this missiles
13:43here and then now I have four Arcane
13:45charges so I'm going to
13:47barrage and from this barrage I'm going
13:52Magi that applies right now it gives me
13:54the four charges and now I'm going to BR
13:55again okay and I get a four piece proc
13:58here so this actually the perfect
13:59situation because if I use this Arcane
14:01missiles I should get two stacks of
14:03nether precision and I'll be able to get
14:05the amped up Arcane barage on that first
14:06one and then send another one because
14:08it's going to return four charges just
14:09like touch of the mag I would so I'm
14:11going to arcan missiles
14:12here and I ended up getting a little
14:15unlucky here because I didn't get a
14:16second charge so what I do instead of
14:18what I normally do which would just be
14:20brush brush again um I'm actually going
14:22to send an Arcane blast here I noticed
14:24at the very last second I got this this
14:26one there's travel time on missiles
14:27right so the the charges don't happen
14:29instantly sometimes you can't anticipate
14:31that this is going to happen right so
14:33I'm just going to go for it I'm already
14:34casting the spell might as well finish
14:35the spell uh so I'm going to Arcane
14:37blast here into a barrage that does
14:40unfortunately use both of my nether
14:41Precision Buffs uh and now I have four
14:43charges so I decided to just send that
14:45barrage on its own okay A little value
14:47lost there but what can you do right
14:48it's it's really hard to react in time
14:49when stuff like this happens staying on
14:51the target though is bad because then
14:53you can't really make use of the travel
14:54time for a barrage to put up touch to
14:55the Magi in time so you know it's kind
14:57of like you're between a rock and a
14:58heart Place sometimes you win some
15:00sometimes you lose some anyways so touch
15:02of the Magi is still up uh and I've
15:04already gotten all of the Spells I need
15:06to off in it so I'm just casting
15:08basically missiles into double blast
15:10into barrage right that same rotation
15:12and that's going to be what I continue
15:13to do here until touch of the Magi is up
15:15again so as you can see here I'm just
15:17paying attention to the cool down of my
15:19touch of the Magi it's the same rotation
15:21over and over again missiles double
15:23blast barrage the only thing that will
15:25upset this is if I have a four-piece
15:28bonus or if I'm sitting on two charges
15:30of Arcane orb because I don't want to be
15:31sitting on two charges of Arcane orb if
15:33I can help it all right and that's a
15:35good stopping point for the rotation
15:36let's talk about the talents to
15:38understand Spell slinger Arcane you
15:39first have to understand what the Arcane
15:41splinters are doing and how they work so
15:44we generate Arcane splinters through a
15:46couple different ways uh splintering
15:48sorcery means that whenever we consume
15:50our nether Precision this is the buff we
15:51get from consuming clearcast it's the
15:5320% more damage on Arcane blast or
15:55Arcane barrage with two stacks whenever
15:57we consume that we're going to conjure
15:59two Arcane splinters they're going to
16:00fire at the Target they're going to
16:01embed themselves in there and this does
16:03stack it just deals damage over time we
16:05also have auga bounds whenever we cast
16:07our coold down Arcane surge we're going
16:09to automatically conjure eight of these
16:10splinters and while the buff is up from
16:12our Arcane surge we're going to generate
16:14is twice as many splinters uh we also
16:17have splintering orbs so whenever we
16:19damage an enemy with arcan orb whenever
16:20it hits its first Target that's going to
16:22conjure four Arcane splinters for free
16:25um so it will take two orbs to reach
16:26eight for this and also this is going to
16:28increase our orb damage
16:29and then shifting power is also going to
16:31fire a barage of eight Arcane spiners at
16:33random enemies it's not your main target
16:34it's just all over the place anything
16:35you're in combat with uh within 40 yards
16:37is going to get hit by this um and then
16:40uh we also have Splinter storm so
16:43whenever we have eight or more splinters
16:45out it will automatically trigger the
16:47spell so we don't have to cast this
16:48oursel it just automatically goes out uh
16:51but what's going to happen is it's going
16:52to shatter all the splinters it's going
16:53to deal all their remaining damage and
16:55then it's going to basically set up like
16:56a barrage of splinters above your
16:58character that all fire out at once they
16:59don't embed themselves in the Target
17:00again it just deals damage but it looks
17:03really cool and it does have a chance to
17:05grant us clear casting so we get a lot
17:06of clear casting as this build now you
17:08notice in the background I'm just
17:09constantly shooting out Arcane orbs and
17:11the reason for that is because any
17:13direct damage from the splinters is
17:15going to have a chance to launch an orb
17:17and uh it's also going to increase the
17:18damage that Arcane orb deals so remember
17:21we have all of these different ways that
17:23we are generating splinters including
17:25orbit self and then once we do the
17:28direct damage there's just a very small
17:30chance of them proing at orb once we
17:32reach eight it's going to do the
17:33Splinter storm but these are all
17:35different ways that we are going to
17:37essentially be doing direct damage with
17:39splinters now we also have two other
17:41talents that are going to make our
17:42splinters AOE first is controlled
17:44instincts whenever we uh strike an enemy
17:46with the orb for 8 seconds they're going
17:48to have their Arcane spiners deal damage
17:50around them so there is definitely a
17:52benefit to having the targets constantly
17:54getting hit by the orbs right we want to
17:55keep this buff as much as possible uh
17:58whether it's through through the spell
18:00Frost teaching one where it's
18:01automatically proed or whether it's like
18:03us casting the orb ourselves uh we also
18:05have volle magic so whenever a splinter
18:08is removed it explodes and it deals
18:10damage to nearby Targets both of these
18:12by the way are going to have damage
18:14reduced above five targets so it isn't
18:16completely uncapped but it actually does
18:17some pretty decent damage um and then we
18:19have some Choice notes in here I'm not
18:21really going to talk too much about the
18:22other two Choice notes cuz these are
18:23just utility okay so now that we have
18:26discussed the spell splinters with Spell
18:29slinger let's discuss Arcane itself and
18:31there are things that have changed so
18:33the Mastery for Arcane is Savant this
18:36gives us Mana regen uh it also gives us
18:38increased damage with our Arcane charges
18:40and this is something where I think you
18:42typically only want to pick Mastery if
18:44it ends up being uh like a a problem
18:46with your Mana like you just don't have
18:47enough Mana I feel like you would fill
18:49in with Mastery to try and fix that um I
18:51really haven't had any Mana issues we
18:53just we spend so many bares that I feel
18:55like Mana is just a non-issue um also if
18:57you go uh ta you just have a ton of exra
19:00Mana regen so yeah I I don't think we
19:03really want too much Mastery but again
19:04it's hard to say with stats because it's
19:06all fely craft right now I'm just
19:07running haste crit as Arcane which is
19:09awesome because haste is definitely the
19:10best for fire to okay so since Arcane
19:12charges were mentioned let's quickly
19:14explain those so you'll notice on my UI
19:16I have like these four lines that you'll
19:18see down here these are Arcane charges
19:20so that's going to increase the damage
19:21on my Arcane blast in my Arcane brage uh
19:24essentially you generate them in two
19:26main ways as this build uh although
19:28there are a ton of other ways to
19:29generate them so the first way is
19:31through high voltage this makes it so
19:33whenever we press Arcane missiles we
19:34just will generate charges like crazy
19:36just passively um and then we also
19:39generate them with Arcane orb you'll see
19:41the tool tip here grants one Arcane
19:42charge one cast and one every time it
19:44deals damage um so if you remember
19:46whenever we talked about the Spell
19:48slinger talents we also had like this
19:49one right here where we just shoot out
19:51random orbs um yeah this just gives us
19:53like a ton of Arcane charges and orb in
19:56general is just like a really great
19:57spell and again it gives us so yeah we
19:59love that we love that uh the charges
20:02themselves also interact in other ways
20:04so we have this tal up here aring cleave
20:05whenever we have charges and we spend
20:08them on Arcane barrage they're going to
20:10hit additional enemies this Talent is
20:12not something you want in pure single
20:14Target but if there's any sort of cleave
20:15you definitely want this Talent uh if
20:17you're going like pure single Target
20:18I'll definitely swap it out here for
20:20Consortium Bobble this is just going to
20:21be more damage on your blast and
20:23slightly reduced cost uh but anyways I
20:25think Arcane cleave is definitely worth
20:27it if there's like two Targets ever so I
20:29would say this is like the default
20:30talent I don't think you're really
20:31giving too much up uh putting this one
20:33in also whenever we consume charges
20:35we're also going to get a haast buff
20:37that Stacks uh and Arcane Tempo should
20:39pretty much be up the whole time and
20:40then resonance so we actually have
20:42funnel as Arcane Mages but Arcane barage
20:44is just a really hard-hitting spell
20:46because we have a lot of talents that
20:47are giving it extra damage and a lot of
20:49other reasons why it's just great arcan
20:51bombardment is execute whenever a Target
20:52is below 35% health and they take damage
20:54from arcan barage that damage is going
20:56to be doubled uh so if we have one
20:58target Target that's an execute and we
21:00are hitting it with Arcane barrage it is
21:02going to take double damage the other
21:03ones won't unless they're also an
21:04execute but I mean this is just crazy
21:07because your your funnel is essentially
21:08doubled right the funnel from resonance
21:10whenever it targets an execute you're
21:12going to get doubled the value there and
21:13this significantly increases the value
21:15of Arcane barrage just it does a ton
21:17more damage and it's already so valuable
21:19as a spell uh we also have or barrage so
21:20whenever we use Arcane barrage we have a
21:22chance to just launch an orb uh that's
21:24going to deal additional damage and as
21:26you already know we just have a ton of
21:28orbs that we already shooting out and
21:29the value of orbs is really high because
21:31we get four splinters each and it also
21:33increases the damage the enemies take so
21:35yeah shooting out more orbs is great in
21:37AOE sometimes you'll notice me just
21:38getting lucky with my procs and I'm
21:41literally just spamming Arcane barrage
21:43over and over and over again into mobs
21:45are in execute range and the orbs are
21:47flying out every time I think the best
21:48one I had was like 15 Arcane BRS in a
21:51row and the targets were below 35% and I
21:54pulled aggro and I died even though the
21:55enemies were in execute so yeah I mean
21:57just czy Talent here right uh and then
22:00other ways we get damage on Arcane
22:01barrage are Arcane Harmony so every time
22:04we have a missile deal damage it's going
22:05to increase the damage on our next
22:07barrage and this is for all of them so
22:09we're using a lot of missiles right
22:11missiles are how we uh spin clear
22:14casting to get the nether precision and
22:15it's just giving us a ton more damage on
22:17those Arcane bares also obviously we
22:20want to be using a lot of missiles for
22:21high voltage uh high voltage is again
22:23how we get our Arcane charges are at
22:25least one of the ways uh so whenever a
22:27target takes damage from Arcane missile
22:29it's also going to increase the damage
22:30that they take from missiles barrage and
22:32blast this actually can stack really
22:34really high the highest I've ever seen
22:36the stack was about 30 so 30% more
22:38damage so just another way that Arcane
22:39barage can get more damage there so yeah
22:41those are the big things for Arcane
22:43barrage when it comes to optional
22:45talents so I'm running siphon storm I
22:47don't think presence of mind is really
22:48that great but evocation with siphon
22:51storm is nice because it's a really good
22:53way to start your pole I think this is a
22:56pretty good talent if you're primarily
22:57going for single Target
22:59but the problem with siphon storm is
23:00that the actual siphon storm Talent
23:02which you're spending three talents to
23:03get by the way uh is below the Capone
23:06line so what this essentially forces us
23:08to do is not take ather Attunement and
23:11this Talent seems to be bugged when it
23:13comes to the damage but it does still
23:15work with the cleave as far as I can
23:16tell so um yeah the main thing that
23:19you're choosing is between these two so
23:21if you want to run ather atunement if
23:23there's like a bit of cleave there's
23:25really no point in running evocation
23:27presence of mind then so you can then
23:28move those talents somewhere else so
23:30usually what I do is I'll just pick up
23:33uh whatever is calling out to me uh
23:36maybe it's reverberate if I ever feel
23:37like I'm pressing Arcane explosion uh
23:40maybe it's just more damage on orbs
23:42maybe it's more damage with clear
23:43casting it could even be like your
23:45familiar deals more damage honestly like
23:47the options here aren't too great the
23:49biggest issue is that there are talents
23:51we want to get like we would love to be
23:53able to get lay sight which is just more
23:54nether Precision damage we would love to
23:56be able to get lay drinker assuming
23:58nether Precision has a chance to make
24:00our next Spell echo deal additional
24:02damage and nearby enemies right these
24:04are both really cool talents the problem
24:06is we can't get them they're Out Of
24:07Reach because it takes two points to get
24:10down the left side of the Capstone area
24:12we have to also put two points into
24:13prodigious Sant to go down this side and
24:16we have to waste talents above the
24:19Capstone layer just to get down here
24:20stuff like 5% more Arcane missile damage
24:23right this is just like a boring Talent
24:24it's not good we take a lot of boring
24:26stuff up here this just very low damage
24:28just so we can path down the tree and
24:31the bottom the capsu layer is super
24:33super bottom heavy the top has a lot of
24:35filler so that's what I hope they
24:37address and they keep redoing this tree
24:39like every week so maybe they'll look
24:40into this but the biggest thing is just
24:42having these B2 points having so many of
24:44the important talents be down at the
24:45bottom level uh it feels a little bad it
24:47would be really cool if some of these
24:49great talents were maybe moved up just a
24:51little bit so we'd have more access to
24:52the other cool stuff but anyways that is
24:55it for the Arcane talents all right so
24:58there is more to Arcane but this video
25:00is getting kind of long so I'm just
25:01going to summarize this with some quick
25:03tips and tricks for you uh so number one
25:05is Arcane explosion is great for just
25:07getting one Arcane charge if you have no
25:09charges available and no missiles uh
25:11it's also great to use if you want to
25:14kind of speedrun your Arcane charges
25:16this is primarily useful if the target's
25:18below 35% so remember whenever a
25:20target's in execute range if you get
25:22those bres out they deal double damage
25:24it is a huge amount of damage so yeah
25:26getting as many bres out as you can
25:28whenever the targets and execute big big
25:30value there also whenever you're in your
25:32cool Downs like you have Arcane surge up
25:33I feel like it's actually kind of an
25:35increase to kind of cancel your Arcane
25:38missiles um in general you want to make
25:40sure you have the four charges so as
25:42soon as you have the four charge you can
25:43interrupt your missile for the BR uh you
25:45can also do this with Arcane blast if
25:47you want although I will say I feel like
25:49it's actually better now to just try to
25:50have your touch of the Magi during
25:52Arcane surge just be all missiles in
25:54barrage except for like the one Arcane
25:55blast to proc magn Spark uh and then
25:58other things you can do so obviously you
26:00can run without evocation right we
26:01talked about that earlier if you are
26:03running the ather Attunement talent that
26:05thing Cleaves your missiles so whenever
26:07you're an AOE I would recommend that you
26:10probably just press like Arcane
26:11explosion to use your clear castings and
26:13then just try and send as many bares as
26:15possible but if you get the ather
26:17Attunement buff you should definitely
26:19send the Arcane missile instead uh not
26:21too sure on wi to Arcane explosion
26:24versus missile it's really really hard
26:25to know right now right without Sims so
26:27you you can just feel it out but it
26:29definitely feels like an AOE if you can
26:31just prioritize getting as many Arcane
26:33charges uh and as many barrages out as
26:36possible while also making sure you make
26:38use of the ather Attunement buff while
26:39also prioritizing barrage whenever
26:41Target is low um just trying to get
26:43through as many charges as possible
26:44seems to be the right answer while also
26:47not munching too many nether Precision
26:49Buffs all right and that is everything I
