00:00 for the last eight months I've been
00:01 experimenting with as many AI tools as
00:04 possible every day it's for this channel
00:06 but you could also call it an obsession
00:09 I've taken my whole list of tools and
00:10 narrowed it down to the best free option
00:12 for every use case and I mean actually
00:14 free let's start with a couple that are
00:16 just really fun then we'll get into the
00:17 more practical with Luma Labs you're
00:19 able to take a video on your phone and
00:20 turn it into a fully interactive highly
00:23 detailed 3D scene like
00:31 that uses neural Radiance Fields or
00:33 Nerfs they also released a new feature
00:35 called interactive scenes that uses gsh
00:37 and splatter and you don't have to know
00:38 either of those terms the interactive
00:40 scenes have a small file size so you can
00:42 embed them anywhere or send it to a
00:44 friend for them to explore there's
00:46 endless uses for this in retail real
00:48 estate travel we'll start seeing these
00:50 across tons of Industries but also for
00:52 Creative uses as well as my favorite
00:54 reliving old memories just download the
00:56 free app on your phone there's uploads
00:58 from other users you can check check out
01:00 for inspiration I love the way these
01:04 load then you just move your finger
01:06 around on the screen to navigate to
01:08 create your own either start a new
01:10 capture and follow the steps on the
01:11 screen or you can take a normal video
01:13 outside the app just walk around a scene
01:15 or if you're doing an object you'll get
01:17 the best results if you do multiple
01:18 circles around it each from different
01:20 heights just upload and let it render
01:23 once it's finished you can navigate
01:24 around the scene right on your phone or
01:26 you can go to the web version on your
01:27 computer you can create custom videos
01:29 using key frames you can guide the
01:31 camera movement throughout the scene in
01:32 any direction at any angle here's a
01:34 really cool one I saw on Twitter from
01:35 Ruben fro using Unity so you can import
01:38 these into game engines if you want
01:39 there's a lot of different export
01:41 formats one of the ideas I'm working on
01:42 is using Google Earth Studio it's
01:44 another free tool you can pick anywhere
01:46 on Earth and it will zoom in or Zoom
01:48 between locations they have presets to
01:50 do it really quickly or an area where
01:52 you can fine-tune exactly how fast it
01:54 moves and the angles it takes it's
01:56 really fun to play around with and easy
01:57 to jump in and use there's a lot of
01:59 tutorials on YouTube YouTube if you want
02:00 more complex camera movements this seems
02:02 like a good spot to test out on
02:10 there that was my first test combining
02:12 those tools I don't have the process
02:14 dialed in yet but I think it has some
02:15 potential either way these are both
02:16 really fun tools to mess around with
02:18 each on their own Luma Labs has one more
02:20 recent release called Genie it's a text
02:22 to 3D model that's free right now during
02:24 the research phase it's operated in the
02:26 Luma Discord server in any of these
02:28 Genie channels using the in command just
02:31 add your prompt and it generates
02:32 incredibly fast and is by far the best
02:35 version of text to 3D I've come across
02:36 in terms of quality and time there's
02:39 people rigging entire scenes with this
02:40 that look amazing I don't know how long
02:42 this will be free but here's a few more
03:05 I'll go into a lot more creative stuff
03:07 for music images video and 3D but I'm
03:10 also very into productivity and learning
03:12 tools so let's switch to that for a few
03:14 one of my favorites that I use all the
03:16 time is perplexity it's a fine-tuned
03:18 chat GPT basically an interactive Search
03:20 Assistant that you can ask anything uses
03:22 up-to-date information and browses the
03:23 web across multiple sources and comes
03:25 back with concise answers almost
03:27 instantly it shows you what sources it
03:29 Ed and you can click through to the
03:30 article for further reading it starts
03:32 responding immediately and sometimes
03:33 we'll cite like 10 sources allinone
03:35 response if needed and if you're using
03:37 the desktop version it can pull up
03:39 images too you can also upload PDFs and
03:41 ask questions about them I use the
03:43 mobile app most and find myself using it
03:45 over Google most of the time for
03:46 question based searches there is a pro
03:48 version but the free version is huge
03:50 I've never felt any need to upgrade from
03:52 the free plan and I'm only talking about
03:54 tools that have really robust free plans
03:56 like this I want to mention when they
03:57 have paid upgrades available mainly to
03:59 give you the full picture of how much
04:01 comes in the free plan that way you
04:02 won't waste your time experimenting with
04:04 something only to find out you have to
04:05 pay to do what you actually wanted it
04:07 for siace is the easiest way to find
04:09 learn and understand any research paper
04:12 so similar to perplexity but this only
04:13 cites research papers not websites or
04:16 the overall internet so it's geared
04:18 towards people that are students or
04:19 researchers but it's great for anyone
04:21 that has questions in the realm of
04:22 science that wants research back answers
04:24 so ask any question and it will give you
04:25 Insight from the top five papers up at
04:27 the top with citations you can click
04:29 through to read the paper and then more
04:31 relevant papers below you can also chat
04:33 with the copile about the answers you
04:34 received another cool feature is you can
04:37 upload a PDF of any paper and get a
04:39 summary and ask questions related to the
04:41 paper you could also add the Chrome
04:42 extension to use all those features
04:44 while you're browsing if you're reading
04:45 a paper online you can ask it to
04:47 simplify complex language ask clarifying
04:49 questions clip math equations or tables
04:52 to find out what they mean it's a really
04:54 powerful research tool to get answers in
04:55 real time all of that is completely free
04:57 they do have some additional features
04:59 for writing that are paid here's one
05:01 more in this realm similar to perplexity
05:03 but built right into Google it's their
05:04 new search generative experience which
05:06 also just got the ability for text to
05:08 image so this is an experimental feature
05:10 you can turn on to use AI in search it
05:12 pops up on the top of your search and
05:13 gives a concise summary of some answers
05:15 with sources on the side you can expand
05:17 it to read more and ask follow-up
05:19 questions it can be really helpful in a
05:20 lot of situations so I have it turned on
05:22 all the time to set it up go to labs.
05:25 goole.com click get started then switch
05:27 it on there's some additional options
05:29 here for coding and adding AI to sheets
05:31 and you can get back to turn the AI on
05:33 and off at any time with the beaker in
05:35 the top right they also very recently
05:36 added in the ability to generate images
05:38 you just type in the search bar what you
05:40 want it to generate from there you can
05:42 click ask a followup and then you'll
05:43 have a nice space to generate in you can
05:45 add follow-up prompts to change things
05:46 until you have something you like I
05:48 actually liked this one with the guitar
05:50 click export and download or hit edit to
05:52 go into a new workspace there's a button
05:54 to have it help you write a better
05:55 prompt let's give that a try and
05:58 sometimes it ends up not generating all
06:00 the images I think it's just censoring
06:01 itself but this one is
06:04 solid and there's more text to image
06:06 generators that do a better job at
06:07 various things I will be covering those
06:09 a bit later now I wanted to pack this
06:11 video with as much information as
06:12 possible and that is made possible by
06:14 today's sponsor skillshare before I
06:16 started this channel I wanted to get
06:18 better at video editing I knew the
06:19 basics but I wanted to really improve so
06:21 I went to skillshare this is the course
06:24 I watched by Phil eer it was great I
06:26 used what I learned in that course to
06:28 make my first few videos on this channel
06:30 I've of course learned more since then
06:32 and I'm always trying to get better but
06:33 that course was extremely helpful and
06:35 this channel did grow from Zer to over
06:37 100,000 subscribers in 8 months so not
06:40 bad and I've used skillshare over the
06:41 years for all sorts of stuff photography
06:44 Photoshop illustration a lot of creative
06:46 courses I also took some for coding a
06:48 while back and they have a wide range of
06:50 other courses on like entrepreneurship
06:52 social media marketing productivity and
06:54 a ton of other Niche topics as well
06:56 honestly I take a lot of courses I have
06:58 time carved out every week that I
07:00 dedicate to learning new skills that
07:01 involves multiple sources of course but
07:03 one of the main ones is skillshare I
07:05 love the learn by doing approach they
07:06 take each course has something
07:08 actionable with a project you can share
07:10 and get feedback on I've gotten a lot
07:12 from skillshare so it was an easy Choice
07:14 when they reached out about sponsoring a
07:15 video and the first 500 people to use my
07:18 link will get their first month of
07:19 skillshare membership free you can watch
07:21 multiple entire courses in that first
07:23 month to make sure you like the platform
07:25 then continue on if you do so thank you
07:27 to skillshare for sponsoring this video
07:29 and and for helping me create this
07:30 channel now let's move on to some music
07:32 tools this next one is really fun and
07:34 can get kind of ridiculous it's called
07:36 suo and it can generate you a song with
07:38 instruments and vocals just from writing
07:40 a topic it's operated within Discord so
07:42 I'll have the link to the Discord server
07:44 below with all the other links go to one
07:46 of the chirp beta channels use the chirp
07:48 command and either Submit Your Own
07:50 lyrics or write a topic and have chat
07:52 GPT write the lyrics for you let's do
07:54 the greatest movie of all time the big
07:56 leowski then you can type a genre if you
07:58 leave it as random it will choose based
08:00 off the lyrics Bluegrass seems like a
08:01 good fit and that's all there is to it
08:03 the verse and chorus will come back
08:05 right away nailed it then usually just
08:06 another minute or so and it will come
08:08 back with two different options up to 40
08:10 seconds long each let's give it a
08:16 we there's a man they called the do
08:21 be his Rob and is wide mering in hand
08:26 living life in his own way back
08:32 big that's his name that's pretty solid
08:35 especially considering all I entered was
08:36 a few words and there is an option to
08:38 continue it if you want another fun one
08:40 is to use lyrics from a popular song and
08:42 see how it interprets it I'll try Purple
08:52 genre my brain lately things just don't
08:56 seem the same acting funny but I don't
09:00 why Excuse me while I kiss the
09:05 sky purple ha all around don't know if
09:09 I'm coming up or down am I happy or in
09:17 is that's actually insane how good that
09:20 is I'm going to continue that for a
09:22 future project I originally scripted
09:24 this section when it was 100% free and
09:26 unlimited but they have changed that now
09:28 you get five chps per day under the free
09:30 plan they do have a paid option if you
09:31 want but this is mostly just a quick
09:33 tool I use for fun so the free plan has
09:35 been plenty the next one is in the same
09:37 realm but completely free and open
09:38 source it was released by meta it's
09:40 called music gen it generates music
09:42 under tons of different genres really
09:43 well but this time no vocals there's a
09:45 couple ways to use it I'll show the
09:47 easiest one first someone built a better
09:49 interface called waveformer you just
09:50 enter a prompt with whatever you want
09:51 your music to sound like genre
09:53 instruments Tempo feel and click submit
09:55 and let it generate it takes a minute or
09:57 two then usually comes back with a great
10:34 there is another feature where you can
10:35 give it an input Melody to follow but
10:37 they didn't add that into waveformer so
10:39 if you want to use that you need to go
10:40 to the space on hugging face upload a
10:42 file that has a melody in it I'll use
10:44 the outdated reference of the X Files
10:49 theme so you describe the music you want
10:52 then it will use the description and the
10:53 melody to create a song Let's see what
11:10 when I think of the implications of that
11:12 combined witho and some of the other
11:14 technologies that are coming out and
11:16 advancing rapidly I won't be surprised
11:18 at all if people start listening to
11:19 music that's fully generated by AI soon
11:22 this last music one is a really cool
11:23 Suite of tools developed by Google in
11:25 collaboration with Lupe Fiasco they help
11:28 with lyric writing but in a
11:29 collaborative way where the artist is
11:30 really involved in the process they're
11:32 all free and really easy to jump in and
11:34 mess around with I like this a lot
11:35 here's a clip from their promo video
11:37 this bite-sized AI tool that can take in
11:40 any word as input explode it into all
11:43 these different possibilities in the
11:44 same way that Lupe does and that's just
11:47 one tool we built nine others as well
11:50 it's called text effects this tools they
11:53 generate similes they create acronyms
11:56 they parse words it's a entire sweet
11:59 different kind of possibilities dealing
12:00 with text and language now onto the more
12:03 visual side probably the easiest way to
12:05 animate an image is with lupix go to
12:07 convert. lay ofix.com click upload and
12:11 easy as that you have an immersive depth
12:13 animation there sliders to change how
12:15 long the animation cycle is and the way
12:17 it animates also an advanced editor
12:19 where you can get more customizable then
12:21 just select your export format it's
12:23 super easy but I love the way these
12:38 you get 60 credits when you join but to
12:39 export in Full Resolution costs 20
12:42 credits so it's really only three uses I
12:44 have no idea why they call that 60
12:46 credits but I included it because you
12:48 get unlimited free exports in 720p which
12:51 is still pretty high quality also you
12:52 can export unlimited depth maps for free
12:54 which we will use in our next tool insta
12:57 3D this is by Lumin AI it's kind of like
13:00 lupix but makes it even more immersive
13:02 this is the home screen there's some
13:04 samples you can test out at the bottom a
13:06 bunch of these look really cool and
13:07 gives you a good idea of what works well
13:09 in here then right here you can upload
13:10 your own image once you've done that you
13:12 need to upload a depth map so back to
13:14 lupix upload your photo then export
13:18 map now upload that in insta 3D and it's
13:22 good to go you can move all around the
13:24 scene they have some different effects
13:25 down at the bottom to mess around with
13:27 some types of images work really well
13:28 for this and any of them start to get a
13:30 little wonky when you go far into them
13:32 but it is really amazing that you can
13:34 generate this so easily from a 2D
13:42 image this one is research from meta
13:45 it's fun and really easy to use it's
13:47 designed to animate children's drawings
13:49 but you can upload any character you
13:50 want it just needs to be on a white
13:52 background with each limb separate and
13:53 visible click upload photo agree then
13:56 adjust the frame here if it doesn't
13:58 capture the full character on the next
14:00 page you can fix the mask if there's any
14:02 issues then find each of the
14:04 joints then let it do its thing and
14:07 there it is we have a bunch of different
14:08 animations to choose from again it's
14:10 made to animate children's drawing so a
14:12 lot of the animations are pretty silly
14:14 but it's fun to mess around with you
14:15 could key out the background and let it
14:17 play over another image also it looks
14:20 completely ridiculous if you upload a
14:24 person on to pabs which is amazing and
14:28 absolutely incredible that it's still
14:30 100% free I'm sure at some point they're
14:32 going to move to a paid model but it's
14:33 been free for months and still is
14:35 currently it's all within Discord as
14:37 well you can operate it in their
14:39 generate channels or to generate in
14:41 private come up to the paa bot click
14:43 this member list button if you don't see
14:45 it then rightclick the bot and hit
14:47 message now you'll be able to DM the bot
14:49 anytime you want to generate use the
14:50 create command and for text to video
14:54 prompt there's a parameter for frame
14:56 rate if you want- FPS s and a number
14:59 between 8 and 24 then aspect ratio is-
15:05 AR that looks great but I hardly ever
15:08 use text to video image to video is
15:10 where it gets really powerful I'll use
15:11 the create command again then type what
15:13 I want to happen in the image I'll use
15:15 the copy bar playing guitar I generated
15:17 with Google sge and another parameter is
15:19 camera movement like zoom in pan or
15:21 rotate it's dash camera then I'll try to
15:23 zoom in Click the plus one to add the
15:32 that looks awesome so you can dial in
15:34 really solid images first then use paa
15:36 to animate them and the possibilities
15:38 are endless capcut has a whole Suite of
15:40 AI tools that are in beta under the
15:42 magic tools tab there's a bunch of
15:44 different tools here many of which can
15:46 be found on other platforms but the one
15:47 I want to highlight is this video
15:49 upscaler you can upscale videos by 2x
15:51 which is perfect for videos from Pika
15:53 those are at 720p and this will convert
15:55 them to 1080p I started using this
15:57 recently and haven't seen any mention of
15:59 a limit to the free uses on this or any
16:01 of the other tools So currently this is
16:03 the best free video upscaler I've been
16:05 able to find those are some great video
16:07 tools but a lot of the time you need to
16:08 start with an image and before we jump
16:10 into the image generators something
16:11 that's useful for any images you may
16:13 have ai or otherwise is upscaling and
16:16 restoration most of the UPS scalers I
16:18 come across have limited uses but
16:20 there's two that are completely free and
16:22 unlimited replicate has a full Suite of
16:24 image restoration and UPS scalers
16:26 upscaling is under super resolution
16:28 you'll find a bunch of models for
16:30 different needs some can forx the
16:32 resolutions some will de noise and
16:34 smooth it out others will add some
16:36 detail pick one for your needs and run
16:38 it the other option I use in replicate
16:41 is image restoration there's a ton of
16:43 cool ones in here for touching up old
16:45 photos colorizing black and white photos
16:48 night enhancement or what I find the
16:54 deblurring replicate is great for quick
16:56 web based upscaling but if you want
16:58 something you can run on your own
16:59 computer that has the option to batch
17:01 upscale upscale spelled with a y.org is
17:04 the way to go it's free open source
17:06 software you can download so it has
17:07 multiple options to choose from for
17:09 different types of upscaling most of the
17:11 time I like this real sran 4X you can
17:13 even upscale it to 16x if you want I
17:15 also like the digital art model for some
17:17 cartoons or vector art styles that
17:19 Smooths it out a bit if you regularly
17:21 need to upscale images then I highly
17:23 recommend this and a lot of images that
17:25 come out of these AI art generators do
17:26 need upscaling now for the cool this
17:28 name on the list illusion diffusion
17:30 there's a ton of awesome ways to use
17:32 this it was originally trained to make
17:33 these really cool QR codes you may have
17:35 seen then Mr ugay figured out this
17:37 workflow for these Spirals and other
17:39 Illusions I love these it reminds me
17:42 of these by Octavio ampo so yeah I love
17:47 this style it's a ton of fun and you can
17:49 do it all for free they have some
17:50 examples to use down here I like the
17:52 spiral a lot illusion strength is how
17:54 much the spiral will impact the image
17:56 between 8 and 1.2 2 is a good starting
17:59 point it depends on what you're going
18:00 for and can take some experimenting type
18:02 in your prompt then click run time
18:04 frames will vary based on the time of
18:06 day it's usually around 30 seconds or
18:08 less for me but it can be much longer
18:09 during peak hours and that looks awesome
18:12 the illusion strength has the biggest
18:13 impact on how this turns out that's the
18:15 main option I usually adjust when I'm
18:17 fine-tuning these there are also some
18:18 Advanced options you can mess around
18:20 with to adjust it further but here's
18:21 that same prompt run but only changing
18:27 strength instead of using their images
18:29 you can upload your own and the
18:31 possibilities are endless a couple
18:32 common ones are text other cool patterns
18:36 logos and faces and a lot of these you
18:39 have to shrink down or squint to see the
18:41 illusion so keep that in mind as you're
18:43 fine-tuning them someone who went all
18:45 out with this is herolus on Reddit they
18:47 spent 14 hours doing this for every
18:50 frame of Never Going To Give You Up you
18:52 pause at any point and it's a normal
18:54 landscape then hit play and get Rick
18:56 Rolled there's so much that can be done
18:58 an easier one is to create a brand promo
19:01 video using a logo I'll do the YouTube
19:05 prompt that comes back looking great I
19:07 did that with a bunch of different
19:17 boom now for the text to image
19:20 generators there's a ton of options out
19:22 there each have their pros and cons the
19:24 first three are pretty straightforward
19:26 and easy to use the last one is the most
19:28 versatile with the most features so I'll
19:30 go more in depth we'll start with
19:31 ideogram if I click over onto this top
19:34 tab you'll start to see what it can do
19:35 well and where it struggles it is great
19:37 with text based designs logos and
19:40 illustrations this isn't going to be as
19:41 good as the others for things like photo
19:43 realism or getting really specific with
19:45 what you want when you type your prompt
19:47 it will pop up with a bunch of different
19:48 styles you can choose one if you want or
19:50 just direct it with your prompt then
19:52 there's a couple aspect ratios to choose
19:53 from and generate it comes back with
19:55 four options if there's one you want to
19:57 work with you can click click remix and
19:58 it will generate four more that are
20:00 similar you can do that as many times as
20:02 you want until you have something you
20:09 like Dolly 3 was just rolled out to Pro
20:12 users in chat GPT so you can use it
20:15 there if you have chat GPT Pro if not
20:16 you can use it for free in the being
20:18 image Creator you just type your prompt
20:20 and hit create it does a good job with
20:22 text the best part is it's prompt
20:24 understanding you can get really
20:25 specific with what you want and it Nails
20:27 it you get 25 free credits when you
20:29 create an account and then your boosts
20:41 week and now that we're in the text to
20:43 image section I'll just revisit Google
20:45 sge quickly so that's a really good
20:46 option that is completely free to
20:48 generate as much as you want here's a
21:01 stable diffusion is open source
21:03 uncensored and amazing if you have a
21:06 capable computer you can install it
21:08 locally and use it completely free but
21:10 that involves some technical steps and
21:11 is not beginner friendly other platforms
21:13 have been built on top that utilize
21:15 stable diffusion and make it much easier
21:17 to use for most of them the free plans
21:18 are very limited but there is a platform
21:20 that's extremely versatile with a ton of
21:22 features and the free plan gives you 500
21:24 Generations per day which is huge it's
21:26 called playground AI it's a canvas-based
21:28 platform where you have a full workspace
21:30 to move around and create in it looks
21:32 intimidating at first but it's really
21:34 powerful these are all just from today
21:36 under the free plan when you're on the
21:37 canvas you can drag the corners here to
21:39 change your size and aspect ratio under
21:41 the frame is where you can type a prompt
21:43 anthropomorphic frog playing a banjo on
21:46 the right are some options you can learn
21:48 and mess around with I'll just use this
21:49 one for four generations at a time on
21:51 the left is where we can choose the
21:53 style to apply to the image it has a
21:55 huge impact this whole workspace was
21:57 basically just me testing out the
21:58 different styles I'll demo them in a
22:00 second hit generate and it goes pretty
22:02 quick and every one of these looks
22:06 amazing let's say I like this
22:08 composition but want some variations the
22:10 image to image button will use this as a
22:12 reference image then I can adjust the
22:14 strength over here you could adjust the
22:15 prompt or style too now I've got four
22:17 more to choose from that was all with
22:19 the haze style here's some other of my
22:21 favorite styles using the same
22:31 so we've got some cool images but
22:32 there's a lot more we can do up here was
22:34 with the neon Mecca style these turned
22:36 out awesome so I made a bunch I also did
22:39 anthropomorphic frog playing a fiddle I
22:41 didn't really prompt for scenery but
22:43 these two looked similar and I want to
22:44 merge them I can move the generation box
22:49 generate I combine them well but there
22:51 is this weird robot looking thing right
22:53 here no worries I'll just use the
22:58 that doesn't look perfect but I'm going
23:00 to be bringing in a singer anyways this
23:02 should look good but I need to remove
23:04 the background so hit remove
23:06 background then I'll drag it on here and
23:08 make it look nice crop off the bottom
23:11 and there it is that's a fast and easy
23:13 composite shot so I'll select the whole
23:14 thing then copy and paste now it's one
23:16 image I can export there are tons and
23:18 tons of other features in here if you
23:19 want to learn a really good resource is
23:21 their YouTube channel now that I've got
23:22 this image let's see how it looks
23:26 Pika that's not bad but I think there's
23:28 just too much going on with it I had a
23:30 ton of other images so I'm going to
23:31 animate those then I want to add a song
23:33 fromo I'll use the chirp command and
23:35 these frogs have a kind of futuristic
23:36 style they look like a prag rock band to
23:38 me then they're kind of cyborg looking
23:40 so frog cyborg for the topic and
23:43 actually I think I have to do it yep I
23:49 myself all right this song is so good
23:51 I'm about to spend way too much time
23:53 making a frog cyborg music video but
23:55 I'll just use tools I covered in this
23:56 video playground Pika and and
24:04 the wires and steel CTIC Warriors ready
24:11 reveal leing strong and
24:24 before Ro SL BS and BBS
24:51 B now that I've got that song stuck in
24:54 your head if you want to stay up to date
24:55 on all of the latest and greatest AI
24:57 tools go to futurepedia doio AI moves
25:00 fast so a video like this can get
25:02 outdated but futurepedia is constantly
25:04 updated and there's various filters to
25:06 find the best tool for whatever you need
25:08 if you want all of those tools and tips
25:09 to implement them delivered directly to
