00:27 and those products are getting upvoted
00:30 by the community and people can say what
00:33 is the best product of the day out of
00:34 those products then the best product of
00:37 the week is decided this daily ranking
00:39 of the products allows you to create
00:42 large volumes of traffic for your
00:45 website and for your service or product
00:48 the best thing about product is that
00:50 it's totally free it's super easy to use
00:52 and to launch on broader hand has an
00:54 unlimited potential for new users
00:57 imagine that with its launch you will be
00:59 getting five to six k of traffic to your
01:01 website if you rank on the top five
01:04 so in the rest of this video what we're
01:06 gonna explain is how you can rack
01:08 actually on top five and how you can
01:10 actually succeed post your loans

01:52 to do so there are four essential things
01:54 that you need to do before launching
01:57 step one find the day that you're gonna
02:02 debate on which date you're going to
02:05 so if you go on mondays and tuesdays you
02:08 get a lot of traffic but also lots of
02:09 competition but if you go on fridays or
02:12 the weekend you actually get less
02:14 competition but you get
02:16 less traffic as well
02:18 so the sweet spot i believe is launching
02:21 on the day that you feel more
02:22 comfortable with and that you feel that
02:24 your teams feel more comfortable with
02:27 the thing is that my personal view is
02:29 that you actually should launch on the
02:31 days that you actually have the most
02:33 traffic the reason is that you don't
02:36 actually care about the upvotes but you
02:38 mostly care about more people seeing
02:41 now i can see that you can be considered
02:44 successful having 200 to 500 upvotes
02:47 most probably with 200 to 500 you will
02:49 land to the first five spots and if you
02:52 get 300 to 500 you'll definitely launch
02:55 on the first spot so
02:56 my advice on that is that you actually
03:01 on mondays and tuesdays and aiming for
03:03 300 to 500 upvotes so that you just get
03:06 for sure in that street top five spot
03:09 second one and that's
03:11 significant and super essential is that
03:13 you find your own hunter so who are
03:16 hunters hunters are established members
03:18 of the brotherhood community
03:20 and those people are and have spent lots
03:22 of time on product and upvoting
03:24 commenting on on products finding the
03:27 best products the thing with those
03:30 people is that they're rare to find
03:33 you have to actually book them in
03:35 advance at least a month and make sure
03:37 that you have communicated to them all
03:39 the necessary things that your product
03:42 will have now what i want you to
03:45 actually do before i talking to a hunter
03:48 is finding who they are and sending a
03:50 personalized message to them speaking
03:52 about how they can help you and why they
03:54 are the best person to do that
03:56 you can outreach to many hunters and
03:58 there is no problem if you actually
04:00 have 200 at the same time
04:02 product hand allows you to only have one
04:05 but you can definitely have more hunters
04:07 speaking about your product and that
04:09 will just skyrocket
04:11 your conversions and your traffic so
04:13 make sure you outreach to as many as you
04:15 can and then pick the one that best
04:16 suits you so if you comment below i will

04:20 that i've seen on product
04:22 and with a with the people that you
04:24 should be outreaching to step number
04:27 and that's the biggest one because if
04:29 you don't do that right even a hunter
04:31 can help you what you have to do is to
04:33 prepare your hunter kit
04:35 so now a hundred kit is a set of things
04:38 that are necessary for product so what i
04:41 would do now is that you take out a list
04:43 and notes and write down all the things
04:46 that are like all the product things
04:48 that you need to have i will have them
04:50 in my video description as well for your
04:53 better under not understanding but i
04:58 that you actually pay attention to why
05:00 those things are essential
05:02 so it is one icon and this should be an
05:04 icon of your pro of you either your
05:06 product or your logo now the icon
05:09 established by protagon should be
05:10 actually gift so this is how production
05:13 communities started and this is like the
05:15 history of product and respecting the
05:17 history and uh is showing good intention
05:20 and is sitting really well with the
05:22 protocol community so make sure that you
05:23 create an icon gift for your loans
05:26 headline create a custom headline for
05:28 your product make sure that this
05:29 headline represents the target audience
05:31 you speak to and as well the problem you
05:33 solve the more generic it is the better
05:36 for this case subject line
05:39 so the subject line can try to make
05:42 something more engaging and call people
05:44 to action you never have to ask for up
05:47 votes and you shouldn't do that but you
05:49 have to act people and ask them to check
05:52 your page check your videos so what i
05:53 would do in this part is i would ask
05:56 people to just take an action on my
05:58 launch so it would be take on our video
06:01 and see for yourself how this grows so
06:03 all those things are just making people
06:05 click through and once people click
06:07 through and have more interactions the
06:08 more likely they are to upload and get
06:10 your product uh as first of the day
06:14 i mean the description is something that
06:16 you most probably have already it's what
06:17 your product does it's what you would
06:19 pitch to as an investor or to a sales
06:22 prospect if they actually got interested
06:24 in your product and then the most
06:26 essential thing is the video
06:29 so make an engaging video use your
06:31 marketing video if you have one if you
06:33 don't you can actually check my my
06:35 youtube video about that but my point is
06:37 that this is a necessity to have from
06:38 research it is shown that products with
06:40 videos have like 80 better conversions
06:44 and that is across web but the point is
06:46 that this will also translate to product
06:48 so make sure you create a fancy video
06:50 about your project and about what you do
06:53 also you want your people who vote
06:55 actually understand what you do and what
06:57 is the best way than a video and then
07:00 something that is super essential for
07:01 product hunt and it's something that
07:03 makes an impact especially for the
07:05 communities that make your comment
07:07 protagon is about the founders it's
07:09 about the people behind the products and
07:12 not the products alone so if you
07:14 actually take the time and create a make
07:17 your comment you'll see the reactions
07:19 and the upvotes that these will get and
07:21 this will just put almost all the
07:22 conversions that you're getting the more
07:24 engagement you get the better it sounds
07:26 you have to land on product hunt as i
07:28 said before there is a chance that you
07:31 actually land and have the most up votes
07:33 but not get on the first uh fight and
07:37 the reason is that you haven't actually
07:39 done the rest you haven't got up votes
07:41 from other members you haven't got
07:43 upvotes and you haven't got engagement
07:46 enough like if you don't have enough
07:47 comments then that just doesn't
07:48 translate to the algorithm ranking you
07:50 as the first product so once you have
07:52 done that you have to actually design
07:55 all the things you need to make to just
07:58 launch and succeed in your product hand
08:00 launch and the thing is that
08:02 most people don't make this preparation
08:05 right because they focus lots on the
08:07 first part which is extremely important
08:09 but forget and leave the last part for
08:15 people to do is to focus also on the
08:17 second part and pay equal attention for
08:20 me the ideal time that you need to have
08:22 to launch on product hand is two months
08:24 ahead one month preparation of the
08:26 assets and one month warming up and
08:29 building up the launch day so thinking
08:31 of the launch day what i think you
08:33 should be doing is that you should be
08:35 actually getting people
08:40 and your subscribers and your users to
08:42 product so register people ahead so for
08:45 example send an email a month away from
08:47 your launch and ask all the members of
08:50 your community to register in protohunt
08:52 this way the day they get launched they
08:54 won't be new users because product hand
08:59 new users and that's not something that
09:01 you want because they get less points in
09:03 their app votes because of the
09:04 algorithms understanding
09:06 that these people just got introduced
09:08 the day of the hand
09:10 so what you want to do is to have them
09:12 ahead one month and ask them to not only
09:14 register but also vote and if you think
09:17 that's difficult then we go to the next
09:20 what you need to do is to engage with
09:22 the protohun community as i told you the
09:24 progression community consists of 5
09:27 million users monthly
09:29 you can understand that 5 million users
09:32 is a big deal and there is a lot of
09:34 potential for your product to get
09:36 introduced to those users
09:38 what you need to do is to go to the
09:39 communities that those people are
09:41 there's different slack and facebook
09:44 that actually can boost your product and
09:47 for me what you need to do is start
09:49 building relationships in those
09:50 communities so make sure that you
09:52 actually comment and upvote on all the
09:55 previous people who have a product hunt
09:58 make sure that you actually send out a
10:00 message to those people introduce
10:02 yourself make sure that you create
10:04 relationships and trust me the day of
10:06 the launch all those people will support
10:08 you so another strategy that i've used
10:10 in the past is to send to people two
10:12 weeks ahead the message and ask them for
10:14 feedback on my product hand loans you
10:17 can send them the assets you can send
10:18 them everything you do and people will
10:20 be more than willing to give you
10:23 that will create and warm up your
10:25 relationship so the day of the hand they
10:26 will definitely upvote you without even
10:28 you requesting so make sure you do that
10:31 and make sure that you engage the
10:32 production community as much as you can
10:35 and last but not least is the next thing
10:38 building something that is related to
10:40 the program community
10:42 so i've seen so many great examples of
10:44 people trying to engage the community
10:46 and one of the best is actually one of a
10:49 client of mine they're helping
10:50 podcasters build up websites and what
10:52 they did is that they actually created
10:55 a website page for the product hand
10:58 podcast so the product and kitty as it's
11:00 named got its own product page and you
11:02 can see how this looks on the right of
11:04 the screen and the point is that with
11:06 this the engaged production community
11:09 and got lots of engagement lots of
11:11 comments and lots of love from the
11:13 community so make sure that you think
11:15 with the community in mind be sure that
11:17 people like brotherhand and they will
11:20 definitely also love people who actually
11:22 spend the time on it the day of the
11:25 so the day of the launch it's a 24 hour
11:28 long day and to be honest be prepared
11:31 make sure that you actually are able to
11:33 succeed that you have all the potential
11:36 your team from your team that you have
11:38 the necessary resources so that someone
11:41 is let's say active on the hand every
11:43 day make sure that you comment back on
11:45 people make sure that you create
11:46 engagement make sure that you point
11:48 people to your product because at the
11:49 end of the day you want to bring traffic
11:51 so every time there is a comment coming
11:53 back and say to them you know this is
11:54 the next action that you can take if you
11:56 like our product so
11:58 once you've done that you're ready to
12:00 message to the people that you already
12:01 have to message to people that you've
12:02 already worked up and the most important
12:04 thing is to share your milestones on
12:07 twitter now don't be this person who
12:10 says okay we got 400 up votes on product
12:14 please help us get to 500. this is a bit
12:17 spammy i wouldn't say it's like the
12:19 craziest spam i've seen but yet there
12:21 are many better ways so for example take
12:24 screenshots of the comments of people
12:25 and say wow we're excited that this
12:27 person said this about us
12:29 tag the most popular users that you have
12:32 so if you have users with large twitter
12:34 following tag them on the day of launch
12:36 they comment on your tweet and they this
12:39 gets reposted to their
12:41 followers so make sure that you just
12:44 virality that this can have as much as
12:47 you can and this is also
12:49 getting me to my last
12:51 section which is what you actually do
12:54 post launch support launch you shouldn't
12:56 stop protagon has so many but so much
12:59 potential and so many users that you can
13:01 actually launch multiple times
13:04 along with that what you can do is that
13:06 you can actually leverage product spr
13:11 so get on the communities that your
13:15 actually are hanging and make sure that
13:17 you create posts that you speak with
13:19 them that you leverage this relationship
13:21 and so to them that your product got
13:23 famous that got many upvotes that became
13:26 a super significant product and success
13:29 and then what you can also do is have
13:31 people write articles about it
13:33 distribute those articles and use them
13:34 as backlinks to your website or your
13:38 what that means is that most people will
13:40 see your loans see what happens and see
13:42 the social proof that your loans has so
13:44 for example with 600 upvotes that's a
13:47 no-brainer for so many people to just go
13:49 and try your product it creates
13:51 authority and you can even not have a
13:54 product before doing it
13:57 my point is that you should be actually
14:00 leveraging for the hand you should go
14:02 out there and test your product
14:04 with brotherhand you should take the
14:06 chance it doesn't count and doesn't
14:09 request so much effort or time to
14:11 actually rank on the top five if you do
14:14 the things methodically and you do them
14:18 it's actually gonna you're gonna rank at
14:21 the top five at least and you're gonna
14:23 rank maybe among giants so make sure
14:26 that you actually leverage the product
14:29 as a community and make sure that you
14:31 actually succeed using it so
14:34 having said that my question back to you
