01:10 to support us I have a friend named Jim
01:13 who uh as a boy was driving his
01:17 grandmother's Chrysler back in the good
01:20 old day when we drove massive big cars
01:23 in America well he was barreling down a
01:26 Country Lane in the midwest uh to a
01:29 Watering Hole to get something to drink
01:32 and he was driving much too quickly and
01:35 didn't navigate a curve and took her car
01:38 into a ditch where he broke the rear
01:42 axle of the car Jim called his dad named
01:47 JB and JB came and got his son and knew
01:51 exactly why that car had ended up in the
01:55 ditch because his son had been driving
01:58 recklessly so they had the car towed to
02:03 garage and uh there the car was the
02:06 repair started and JB grabbed his son by
02:08 the neck and dragged him to his mother's
02:10 house Jim's grandmother's
02:13 house to explain the
02:16 situation and there before Grandma JB
02:20 launched in to how Reckless his son had
02:23 been driving his mother's car Jim's
02:26 grandmother's car and at as he was in
02:30 the middle of his TI
02:32 raade about his boy Grandma piped up and
02:38 JB I don't want to hear another word Jim
02:42 is a good boy and he would never do
02:47 that she completely quieted all the talk
02:53 of little Jimmy being a bad
02:56 boy well to this day Jim who's now in
03:04 forgotten his grandmother's
03:08 position now JB knew his son had messed
03:11 up and Jim knew he had messed up but the
03:15 owner of the car didn't want to hear
03:17 anything about it even though her car
03:22 damaged Jim has never forgotten as he
03:25 has grown in his relationship with
03:27 Christ that that's what God has like the
03:33 Satan who's called our adversary as
03:36 human beings in Revelation 12 it says
03:39 Satan stands before God and accuses the
03:43 brothers and accuses us as human beings
03:46 Before the Throne of God and that's what
03:49 Satan's name literally means is the
03:52 accuser he hurs accusations well JB
03:56 Jim's dad not even realizing it was
04:00 standing there hurling these accusations
04:03 even though they were
04:04 true at Jim's grandmother and without
04:08 intending to JB was driving a wedge or
04:12 trying to drive a wedge between Jim and
04:17 grandma but she wouldn't hear any of
04:21 it that's what God does that's the
04:23 posture God takes this 2 Corinthians 5:
04:27 17 and 19 says that God was reconciling
04:31 the world to himself through Christ it
04:34 says if anyone uh has sinned and come to
04:38 Jesus the Bible says he's a new
04:42 creation the old things have passed and
04:44 we are made New Creations in
04:48 Christ and God has reconciled the world
04:51 to himself in other words our mistakes
04:54 and our sins have separated us from God
04:57 but God through Jesus when we come to
04:59 him he makes us New Creations and
05:03 himself and so when the enemy comes and
05:06 wants to hurl accusations about this
05:09 thing or that thing that you did or that
05:11 you said and how you messed up here or
05:13 there God's attitude when you know Jesus
05:17 and your sins are covered I don't want
05:21 it cuz Jim's a good
05:24 boy today make sure you're right with
05:28 God make sure you're a new creation in
05:30 Christ and just remember those words I
05:34 don't want to hear any of it Jim's a
05:39 boy you're a good person you're a good
05:43 man you're a good woman when your
05:45 mistakes and your failures are covered
05:48 in Christ's blood you're a new
05:51 creation and God says you're a good boy
