00:00I found seven high-paying Tech related
00:03remote jobs and you don't have to worry
00:05about having a degree or previous
00:06experience because all of these you can
00:09land without that so the first one on
00:11the list is going to be one of my
00:13absolute favorites and that is Tech
00:15sales and specifically the career you'd
00:18be trying to go for at the beginning is
00:19going to be Business Development
00:21representative also known as sales
00:23development representative now typically
00:25these are referred to as bdr or SDR and
00:28basically what you'd be doing in these
00:29roles is prospecting or reaching out to
00:31other businesses that need the service
00:33of the business that you are working for
00:35now the average person in Tech sales
00:37makes about a hundred and thirty one
00:39thousand dollars a year but as a bdr or
00:41SDR you'll probably start off between 60
00:43and 80 000 and in this position you're
00:45going to need strong communication
00:47skills persuasion skills and also a
00:49solid grasp of the technology that
00:51you're selling itself this is one of
00:53those roles where a lot of companies are
00:54willing to hire and train you without a
00:57college degree or previous experience so
00:59this is one where I've been interviewed
01:00a ton of people who have been able to
01:01get into it it's a great career lots of
01:04opportunity I'm going to give it a 9 out
01:06of 10 opportunity score the next on the
01:08list is another phenomenal career and
01:10that is software QA engineer and QA
01:13stands for quality assurance and
01:15basically what you're going to be doing
01:16here is very similar to what an editor
01:19would do for a writer so if the writer
01:21was a software developer or a software
01:23engineer software QA would be like an
01:26editor you are going to be looking
01:27through the software developers code and
01:29you're going to be searching for
01:30glitches and also just making sure that
01:32the code is put in such a way where if
01:34you do things in the future it's not
01:36going to mess everything up and this is
01:37a big problem that Twitter had for
01:39instance where they made their software
01:40code so convoluted and so complicated
01:43that it was very difficult to even
01:45change anything or understand how the
01:46whole system works so this becomes more
01:49and more important as you scale a
01:51company and you make their offering more
01:53complicated this is kind of like
01:54building the foundations for a
01:56skyscraper if you don't have Good
01:57Foundations you might be able to get to
01:59you know four or 5 floors but once you
02:01get up to 10 20 30 40 floors you need to
02:04make sure that the foundations are
02:06incredibly solid and software QA
02:07engineers make about a hundred and six
02:10thousand dollars a year so basically in
02:12this position you want to be very detail
02:14oriented and you want to have Precision
02:16patience and a Sherlock Holmes type of
02:18ability to find and solve problems now a
02:21great way to get started here is to dive
02:23into a program like careerist that will
02:25teach you everything you need to know to
02:27land that first entry-level job and this
02:29job is definitely a route worth taking
02:31and if you're considering this I've
02:32actually partnered with careerist where
02:34they actually offer online live courses
02:36to get you started with jobs just like
02:38this one and according to
02:39coursereport.com careerist is one of the
02:41best boot camps in the United States and
02:44career as graduates are already working
02:45in 1 000 plus companies across the U.S
02:48they're in companies in 40 different
02:49states and the salaries usually vary
02:51between 65 to 100 000 a year based on
02:54the courses that they take with
02:56careerist and these courses are manual
02:58QA sales engineer hearing ux design
03:01systems engineering and data analytics
03:03now what sets careers apart is it
03:06actually caters to individuals that have
03:07no prior Tech experience and they
03:09provide comprehensive training that will
03:11equip you with all the skills necessary
03:13to secure a high-paying job in the
03:15technology industry careers also
03:17provides a supportive learning
03:18environment for your technology career
03:20Journey you will attend live classes
03:22internships to practice your skills
03:24receive personalized guidance from
03:25career coaches and receive support at
03:27every stage of the program until you
03:29achieve your goals on average careers
03:31graduates find a job in Tech within two
03:33to four months if they follow the
03:34provided job search instructions and the
03:36average starting salary for a careers
03:38graduate is sixty eight thousand dollars
03:40so careerist is awesome and if you
03:42follow the link down in the description
03:43below you'll get a 10 discount on
03:45whichever course you choose so thanks
03:47again to careers for sponsoring this
03:48video and for this particular career I'm
03:50going to give it a 9 out of 10
03:52opportunity score as well next is going
03:54to be web developer and this is a career
03:56that's been around for a very long time
03:58and it's one of the most base basic
04:00forms of software development and it's
04:02basically software development for
04:04websites so you're going to be
04:05responsible for Designing and developing
04:07websites that people use every day and
04:09you're going to focus mostly on the
04:11front end of the website which is what
04:13people see and web developers make about
04:15eighty one thousand dollars a year now
04:17this used to be one of the easiest jobs
04:19to land 10 years ago even five years ago
04:22it was pretty easy but it has gotten
04:23saturated and it has gotten harder to
04:25land a job it used to be that 10 years
04:27ago you could basically just have a
04:28pulse and land a job very easily now you
04:31actually have to know what you're doing
04:33and you want to be up to date on the
04:34latest Frameworks as well as programming
04:37languages so overall this is still a
04:39really good one but you do actually have
04:40to know your stuff here and for that
04:42reason I'm going to give it an
04:43opportunity score of 8 out of 10. next
04:45on the list we're going to talk about a
04:47full stack developer and this is
04:49somebody who understands the front end
04:51AKA what people see on a website or a
04:54piece of software but they also
04:55understand the back end and that's what
04:57people don't see and that's typically
04:59more complicated but the truth is there
05:01is a ton of interaction between the
05:03front end and the back end so having a
05:05more holistic view on this is going to
05:07help you not only when it comes to
05:09helping your company but also making
05:11more money and that's why full stack
05:12developers make 97 000 a year now again
05:16this is one just like every other one on
05:18this list that you do not need a college
05:19degree or previous experience in order
05:21to land in these entry-level jobs but
05:23with that being said you are going to
05:25have to know your stuff so if you can
05:26learn that online completely free on
05:28YouTube that's great many people decide
05:30to purchase courses or training programs
05:32online to help them out and also
05:34networking is going to help you out
05:36tremendously when it comes to Landing a
05:38job but overall this one is still
05:39amazing I'm going to give it a 9 out of
05:4110 opportunity score the next one on the
05:43list is one that in my opinion is
05:45incredibly hot right now and that is
05:47data analyst now we've all seen the
05:49stories data is now more valuable than
05:51oil or gold and there is a reason for
05:54that because companies can make
05:55decisions based on that data that makes
05:58them much much more money and basically
06:00what you're going to be doing as a data
06:02analyst is you're going to be analyzing
06:04a bunch of data and extracting
06:05meaningful insights from that data and
06:08then communicating that to a layperson
06:10AKA someone who is going to be making
06:12business decisions and the concept of
06:14data analysis actually dates back
06:16hundreds of years as early
06:18mathematicians and statisticians which
06:20is a word that's really hard to say
06:22began laying the foundations for modern
06:24analytical techniques and as a data
06:26analyst you can expect a rewarding
06:28salary of eighty thousand dollars a year
06:30and keep in mind this is basically the
06:32entry-level job you can make a lot more
06:34than that once you go up the salary
06:36chain now this is another one where you
06:39absolutely do have to have the skills so
06:41you might be learning languages such as
06:43SQL or R you might also learn some basic
06:46Python Programming and of course you're
06:48going to have to be very very familiar
06:50with Excel now this is another one where
06:52you do not need a college degree in
06:54order to land an entry-level career many
06:56people choose to get a college degree in
06:58something like statistics because it
06:59does have help out but you don't need it
07:01many others choose to go to boot camps
07:03such as careerist for instance and many
07:04others choose to just simply teach
07:06themselves which probably is going to
07:07take longer but it's going to be more
07:09affordable so overall this one is a
07:11little bit harder to get into without a
07:13college degree but with that being said
07:14it's still a fantastic one I'll give it
07:16a 9 out of 10 opportunity score next one
07:18on the list is probably the number one
07:21job if you're trying to get a remote job
07:23travel the world get paid really well
07:25have incredible benefits and all those
07:28things that you would want and that is
07:29going to be a software engineer now the
07:31difference between software developer
07:33and software engineer is highly debated
07:35many times it's literally just a title
07:37but generally speaking software
07:39Engineers are going to have a deeper
07:40understanding of what's going on when it
07:43comes to the code so it's almost like a
07:45software developer someone who's
07:46building a house and they don't really
07:47understand architecture whereas a
07:49software engineer might also be building
07:51the house but they do have a pretty
07:52solid grasp of architecture as well and
07:55that's why when you look up software
07:56engineer on Glassdoor they make 139 000
07:59and dollars a year so this is another
08:01one where you don't have to have a
08:02college degree or previous experience
08:03but you do have to know your stuff so
08:06whether you self-teach you get a college
08:08degree you go through boot camp whatever
08:10way you end up learning this you're
08:12probably going to have to build a
08:13portfolio to prove that you know what
08:15you're talking about and networking
08:17helps tremendously as well but overall
08:19I'm going to give this one a 9.5 out of
08:2110 opportunity score and next we have a
08:24cyber security engineer so cyber
08:26security is another one that is
08:28incredibly hot right now and everyone is
08:30kind of focusing on software engineer
08:32software developer and they're sort of
08:34sleeping on cyber security data analyst
08:36different Cloud related careers Etc now
08:39with cyber security I will say that you
08:42probably do want to start off in
08:44something else such as a lower level
08:46cyber security job or maybe an I.T job
08:48that is the most common career path for
08:50most people so a lot of people for
08:52instance will start off at it help desk
08:53they're moving to a higher level I.T job
08:56and then they'll transition into cyber
08:57security and basically this is exactly
08:59what it sounds like you're going to be
09:00protecting data of different software as
09:03well as websites and this is incredibly
09:05important because if your data gets
09:06leaked if it gets hacked that can be
09:08terrible for your customers as well as
09:10your company and this is why cyber
09:12security engineers make a hundred and
09:13thirty one thousand dollars a year so
09:16overall because it's a little bit harder
09:17to break into I'm going to give this one
09:19an 8.5 out of 10 opportunity score so if
09:22you haven't checked it out already go
09:23ahead and check out my remote job tier
