00:22i'll tell you which one was my favorite
00:27so in my previous leaning racket
00:28comparison video i compared the xbox 80
00:30the techtonic 9 as well as the aeronaut
00:329000c additionally since i posted that
00:35video the x-verse 80 has since been used
00:37by srikanth kadambi and yuto watanabe at
00:39the thomas and uber cup finals go check

00:43about that racket and also in that video
00:45i certainly said the most unique and
00:46cool looking racket was the aeronaut
00:489000c because of the design decals and
00:51paint job alongside the futuristic air
00:54gaps close to the t-joint on the frame
00:56as well today we've certainly got
00:58another contender for the best looking
00:59racket and that's actually the aeronaut
01:019000i and quite disappointingly in terms
01:04of looks we've caught the bog standard
01:06looking white aeronaut 9000 and since
01:09we're on the topic of looks the normal
01:109000 is the only racket out of the three
01:12that came in a glossy finish i'm not
01:14sure why but the glossy is so last year
01:17or a few years ago and it just makes the
01:18racket looks outdated and kind of cheap
01:21and basic in that sense when it's
01:23actually not on the other hand it's no
01:24secret that i loved rackets with matte
01:26finishing and the 9000 c and a 9000i
01:29combat an instinct for those who are
01:32they looked incredible the amazing
01:33combinations and shades of blue and red
01:35on the 9000c were very striking and
01:37futuristic whilst the gold and purple
01:40accents of the 9000i were super classy
01:42and certainly brought some main
01:44character energy here
01:46and as i mentioned earlier all three
01:47rockets had four air gaps been between
01:49the five and seven o'clock region of the
01:51racket and it certainly made the rackets
01:54other cool looking features on the
01:55rackets were again the two different
01:57types of grommets present on the racket
01:59there are these round grommets on the
02:01lower half of the racket frame which are
02:02fairly tall and protrude quite proudly
02:04from the frame but they look and feel
02:06premium as well as having the leaning
02:08logo embossed on both the top and bottom
02:10of each grommet wow the second grommet
02:13type on these rackets is the square
02:15cubic locking grommets present on the
02:17top half reset section of the racket
02:18frame looking perpendicularly they sit
02:21flush into the recess area and you don't
02:23see them and they also have their
02:25leaning logos on each on the grommets as
02:27well the cubic locking grommets reminds
02:29me of the onyx's control assist bumper
02:31where these grommets are designed to
02:32increase the whole time on the shuttle
02:34upon contact and these square grommets
02:36certainly do look like they are securing
02:38the strings on the racquet frames fairly
02:40well both matte rockets the 9000c and
02:429000i felt like the decals on the shaft
02:44were embossed when you rub your hands on
02:46them whilst the 9000 did not as it
02:49probably had a clear coat on which is
02:51your favorite looking 9000 here put it
02:53down in the comment section below all
02:55three rackets had the same dimensions
02:57the shaft length and the diameter
02:59alongside the frame size and the frame
03:01thickness as well they were all exactly
03:04the same the only difference was that
03:05the 9000 and 9000c were a 3u weight
03:09class racket and the 9000i was a 5u
03:12racket so about 10 grams lighter which
03:14was quite significant in the sense all
03:16three rackets also shared the same grip
03:18size which is g5 in terms of stringing
03:20all rackets were rated up to 32 pounds
03:22in tension even for the 9000 i and i
03:25strung them at my usual tension of 27 by
03:2729 pounds and found that the 9000 c and
03:299000 were very solid but the 9000i had a
03:32little bit of flex whilst under tension
03:35this is to be expected as you probably
03:36have slightly less materials in the
03:38frame of the 9000i to make it lighter
03:39than its brothers and sisters alongside
03:41other weight saving measures ultimately
03:43these records should be fine for the
03:45greater tensions although i've never
03:46gone through a warranty claim process
03:48with leaning if any one of you has let
03:50me know in the comment section below too
03:52in terms of performance leaning listed
03:53these are not rackets as control type
03:55brackets and i can certainly see why but
03:57in terms of balance points and this
03:59again reinforces why i don't use balance
04:01point as a form of measure leaning says
04:04the 9000 c has the lowest bp amongst the
04:07three rackets at around 298 millimeters
04:10whilst the 9000 comes in at 305
04:13millimeters the highest balance point
04:14goes to the 9000 with a whopping 327
04:18millimeters i did my measurements and
04:20they did correspond to those numbers
04:22give or take a few millimeters however
04:24they field and react very differently to
04:26those numbers also bearing in mind that
04:28leaning said that the 9000 c only had a
04:30medium stiff shaft whilst it was as soft
04:33and soft for the 9000 and 9000 eyes
04:37during my testing i certainly got
04:39reacquainted with my trusty old friend
04:40the 3u arc saver 10 as a similar
04:42comparison before going towards the 9000
04:45c and instantly i felt the 9000 c was
04:47stiffer and harder to play with compared
04:49to my arc's labour 10. it wasn't just
04:51the shaft that felt stiff it felt as if
04:53the whole racket was stiffer and
04:55depending on technique it did make life
04:57a bit difficult when you're out of
04:58position or when you're laid to the
05:00shuttle when you're swinging the racket
05:02it did have a boxier feel which reminded
05:04me of the old-school unix armatex which
05:06also had these feelings when you're
05:08swinging them around it actually made
05:10sense as the 9000c as well as the 9000
05:12and 9000i all had pretty boxy frame
05:15designs this means they won't be the
05:17fastest frames around but the frames
05:19will be pretty stable during power
05:20transfer in terms of power the 9000c
05:23undoubtedly had more power compared to
05:25the r710 and it turns out to be the most
05:27powerful out of the three right here if
05:30you can catch the shuttle right of
05:31course additionally i also want to add
05:33that the 9000c feels pretty unique in
05:35terms of head heaviness yes it's not an
05:37outright head heavy racket but it feels
05:39as if there's a good even distribution
05:41of weight across from the shaft through
05:44to the frame it certainly doesn't feel
05:46and behave like how a 298 millimeter
05:49balance point racket should feel
05:51when i then moved on to the normal 9000
05:53and wow immediately i was able to
05:55imagine why anthony genting and toyi
05:58likes this one even with the same 3u
06:00weight class the 9000 felt a lot easier
06:02to play with compared to the 9000c it
06:04was faster easier to maneuver and again
06:07repeating myself easier to play with i
06:09certainly really enjoyed the feedback
06:10and feel i was having with the 9000 and
06:13it did feel slightly more hollow
06:15compared to the 9000c
06:16but i had lots of nice feedback with
06:18aerobyte strings on and it felt great
06:21some of the net shots that i managed to
06:22pull off with this 9000 made me feel
06:24like i was anthony genting after all i
06:26had the same setup an aeronaut 9000 with
06:28aerobyte overall the 9000 doesn't feel
06:31and behave like a 3d racket and felt
06:33much closer to a 4u racket here and
06:35that's why i was pretty confused to find
06:37out the 9000 had a higher balance point
06:39compared to the 9000c power wise yes
06:42it's less than the 9000c but still packs
06:45a lot of punch this is the nicest
06:46feeling leaning racket for me thus far
06:48and it's my current favorite out of the
06:50lot if we then look at the 9000i and wow
06:53this thing is 5u all right it's very
06:56light and it's pretty fast but nowhere
06:58near as fast as the neon external flare
07:01800 lt which is also a 5v rocket but due
07:04to the 9000 eyes box c frame alongside
07:07its protruding grommets and because of
07:08how light the 9000i is it struggles to
07:10generate the same amount of power as the
07:12other two 9000 series rackets to
07:14generate good power you need to have
07:16very accurate timing and focus on
07:18transferring your body weight forward i
07:20found myself really focusing on getting
07:21my timing right and occasionally getting
07:23good results when using the hammer grip
07:25for sharp power shots only using your
07:28arms in this instance will not get you
07:29much power as with a lot of super right
07:31rockets defensively this thing is
07:33amazing and counter-attacking with it is
07:35super fun as i felt i was able to get on
07:37top of the shuttle and get away with
07:39most things although i certainly did
07:41struggle to get good length on my back
07:42and clears when i was caught and was
07:44late to the shuttle again if the racket
07:46had a bit more weight then i might have
07:47been able to get out of trouble with
07:48this one but i should have been better
07:50prepared for the shot and not get caught
07:52in the first place all in all this
07:54racket will be very nice play within
07:55doubles although you will need to have
07:57good technique and physicality to fully
07:58maximize its potential for casual
08:00players this will be a light and
08:02relatively easy racket to play with some
08:04final food for thought here i'm not too
08:05sure if leaning had to stiffen up the
08:07bottom side of the frame close to those
08:09four air gaps during manufacturing
08:10process to increase durability and from
08:13this process it sacrificed some form of
08:15percentage of usability for us in that
08:18regard i personally thought the four air
08:20gaps did nothing whatsoever and is
08:22completely a gimmick you'd expect these
08:24rackets to be crazy fast just by seeing
08:26holes and gaps on the frames but now
08:28that i've had a closer look at the
08:29design as well as testing them out
08:30completely the rackets play just like
08:32any other rackets and these air gaps are
08:34for looks they don't impact performance
08:37at least not for us my personal sweet
08:39spot was certainly the 9000 although
08:41some of us might find that you'll need
08:42some time to get used to it to a slight
08:44difference in timing but it will grow on
08:46you in terms of racket appearance i
08:48certainly think the 9000c and 9000i are
08:50certainly two of the best looking
08:52racquets i've ever come across leaning
08:54has a lot going on with his fashion
08:56design it's certainly transferring over
08:58to his racquets too and that can only be
09:00a good thing altering rackets certainly
09:02play very differently to each other and
