02:13interview a conversation that's doing

02:19Harvey ended up going over 11 million
02:21views I got a couple at six million
02:22views I said but do you understand what
02:24105 million views is I say a a a sitcom
02:28that get 10 15 million views will be on
02:30for 20 years if they got those numbers
02:33once a week and so you telling me that
02:37no I didn't know no the only person that
02:39knew that he could generate this was cat
02:42because he told me and he said your

02:48are gonna want to going to want to come

02:52space for people to tell their truth but

04:01Floyd Mayweather I had my brother I had
04:03Demar de rozan I had Lamar Odum I had
04:06Steve Smith it's two podcast oh I'm
04:09messy so one less than
04:12two% of the podcast that I've sat down
04:15with people that's how you judge
04:25knows he told you this was gonna happen
04:30that let you know how powerful he know
04:33what he was holding in right he knew his
04:37greatness he knew what he was giving you
04:40he knew it that's why he can call it out
04:43they gonna come for you there's only a
04:44few people that can beat that interview
04:47and one is them telling on themselves

05:01world those are the only two entities
05:05right that can come out and do some

05:09when someone says man Shannon I was like
05:12oh because he's supposed to know right
05:15he he he got his answers I said Shannon

05:21his own [Â __Â ] play and my thing was I
05:24was talking I was talking to my um I was
05:26talking to someone I said so let me ask
05:28you this who who that's in my space that
05:31do what I do would have told Cat

05:35to I don't want to interview cat I I
05:37don't want to interview Mo'Nique I don't
05:39want to hear whatever you say we don't
05:40believe and after he said because at the
05:42end of the day you might sit down with
05:44someone but you don't have to air it and
05:47would have sat on that I just want to
05:48know chat how many people you think that
05:51do what I do from whomever The Breakfast
05:54Club or whomever let's just say there
05:56are 500 people that's in the space that

06:03off and not and even if they do the
06:06interview and he said exactly what he
06:08said on m not release it how many people

06:17she would get I remember talking I said
06:18I believe she'll do somewhere between 10
06:20and 15 million if you do the breakout
06:23clip she's over 15 she's over 15 million
06:26but I thought the the entire episode
06:27would be somewhere between 10 15 so
06:30she's right there smack down 13 million
06:32um probably by the end of the year she
06:34probably be at 15 million so it'll do
06:35what I thought it would do but when you
06:38look at all the people that's occupy the
06:41space that I occupi I don't believe I
06:44believe they're being disingenuous when
06:47they said oh he would I wouldn't have
06:49let him do this or I wouldn't have said
06:50that or I wouldn't have even aired the
06:52clip I don't believe it they're like
06:55they're lying because the problem is
06:58they when you're interviewing someone if
07:00I interview a football player right now
07:03right I only have certain information on
07:06the guy right so he's telling you his
07:10truth you don't know what's a truth
07:12what's a lie for you to even call him
07:15out on anything and that's why I said no
07:18matter who says something zero people
07:21would not Heir that zero people is not
07:23going to air the the Cat Williams order
07:26monice because they don't know what
07:29you're just listening to the guy talking
07:31boom boom boom you don't know what to
07:32edit you don't know because it's their
07:34story they're telling their story we're
07:36listening right the only people that
07:39know that some of this stuff is a lie is
07:41the people that's involved now the

09:22who I would pay my money to go see but
09:25all this other stuff that he was talking
09:27about I ain't know I didn't and was and
09:31I'm watching it from I'm watching it
09:32from the standpoint of a host and I'm
09:34saying all right what would I have cut
09:37right and I'm sitting here
09:39like nothing what am I cutting out right
09:43right if if you know Cedric the
09:46Entertainer said this and I allowed it
09:49then I have to give him a chance to
09:51respond Steve Harvey a chance to respond
09:53so these guys I have I have to give him
09:55a chance to respond on the things that
09:57were said about him so there's really
09:59nothing I can cut out without doing him
10:01any disj justice because the one thing
10:03you don't want to do is you don't want
10:04to erase something and then he calls you
10:06like exactly because everybody say well

10:13time 98% of the time 99% of the time the
10:18interviews ran into an
10:20entirety yep unless they say something
10:23that jeopardizes the interview itself

10:32said anything but like if he makes some
10:34anti-semitic statement or something that
10:36I think is gonna not only damage him but
10:40also I I can't put that out and there
10:44you know so for me they like well sh I

13:27up so high so he had to have done

13:33he had to have sold out his people even
13:36though nobody could tell you what I sold

13:54believe it with 60 million views and
13:56they know if you're in this space they
13:59know what 60 million views does they
14:02know the the the the monetary because
14:04people have done people have done things
14:07trying to say well well if he does this
14:09much cpms and he gets this much RPMs and
14:11he get this many downloads and he get
14:13this many this and he gets many B
14:20on you you you you are you are during
14:24covid Amazon right now yeah right you
14:28are you are Amazon right now for for for
14:31content right if anybody want to get
14:34something out and they know it's going
14:35to go Voom they coming to you if Kevin
14:39Hart wants to talk you gotta come to you
14:41if you are you are that dude right and
14:45that what the problem is you gotta
14:47remember for for the most part
14:50haters right no one knows how to compete
14:52and say hey I'm trying to keep up with

14:59it's like I'm trying to we trying to

15:48doing great content I don't expect in my
15:51lifetime to ever do another interview
15:54like this and that's okay this is my
16:00Thriller bad was not a bad album Off the
16:03Wall was I believe Off the Wall was his
16:05greatest album even though it didn't
16:07have the commercial success as Thriller
16:09did I think I've done some great
16:11interviews the Steve Harvey all I I
16:14think for the most part all the
16:15interviews that I've done have been very
16:17good great I mean I got 24 interviews
16:19with at least two million at least two
16:22yeah million views that's just the full
16:25episode not counting the breakout Clips
16:27so to make it seem like all of a sudden
16:29I just burst on the scene Club sh sh is
16:32about to be four years old in
16:34September and I've been doing this and I
16:36got a 110 episodes I think the Johnny
16:39Manzel interview is gonna be is great
16:42but if you don't think I can interview
16:43people go back and look at some of my
16:45work at CBS when that's what was
16:48required that that was their platform
16:50and I got to go out and I gotta like
16:52okay you say this well I got to say well
16:54I got the stats to say that because that
16:56was that was a different that was a
16:58different uh uh genre that was a that
17:01was an interview I'm having a
17:04conversation bro I ain't asking nobody
17:06where you from sitting down with with
17:08Tony Romo or or Matthew Stafford or
17:11somebody like that I ain't uh when I sat
17:13down with Gates a where you from come
17:18on like like you you see me when I ring
17:20number seven I'm I'm H what right um
17:25because when if you're a real competitor
17:28right you're looking at what PE what
17:30makes people great you're not sitting
17:33there saying why them right because
17:36because asking the question of why them
17:38you already lost you said it you got
