00:03steroids and I had as of 3 months ago
00:08relapse and gone back on a full steroid
00:12cycle now the reason why I stopped in
00:15the first place for those who didn't
00:17watch the video is to stop compromising
00:22health to ensure that I can have a happy
00:27healthy marriage with my wife and to
00:30more on my business being PR and now the
00:37gym I faced several challenges with my
00:41company PR that led me to go into panic
00:45mode and make a decision to pursue
00:47bodybuilding in an attempt to bring more
00:49eyeballs on what I'm doing and in turn
00:52help my brand get back to where it was
00:54and even better now that is a massive
00:58mistake that is not what I should have
01:00done to build my brand I know how to do
01:06a coward approach because I was scared
01:09to venture into the mindset of a
01:12businessman and abandon what I know best
01:15which is creating content and generating
01:17sales based on what I'm doing as an
01:20individual and not what I can do for the
01:23brand as taking a different approach
01:26with my content and focusing more on
01:29product development vment and marketing
01:31the products not marketing myself as an
01:36me choosing to get back into
01:40bodybuilding was not from a place of
01:44passion because since I started training
01:47bodybuilding was never a passion of mine
01:51not bodybuilding on a competitive level
01:57training that got me into Fitness I Lov
02:01lifting heavy I love hitting PRS I like
02:04watching my physique change but I've
02:06never been interested in posing or in
02:11trying to become the next Mr Olympia
02:13whether I had the potential to or
02:15not so this decision to get into
02:18bodybuilding was coming from the wrong
02:20place it was coming from a place of
02:23despiration of letting me get on stage
02:27let me win my Pro card and that will put
02:30eyeballs on me what I'm doing on my
02:33brand and that will help me build my
02:35business but that is the wrong approach
02:38again that's a coward approach that is
02:40me being afraid to not be Larry Wheels
02:46anymore and now be Larry Williams and
02:49focus on marketing my brand and my
02:53products but I'm going to dive in the
02:57deep end and I'm pulling out of this
02:59competition I said I would do I don't
03:02want to get my Pro card I don't want to
03:04pursue being a competitive athlete
03:06anymore because it's a distraction from
03:08what I want out of my life moving to my
03:1030s I'm now 29 years old and my
03:14aspirations and Ambitions have changed
03:17dramatically from when I first came on
03:18to seeing the social media I have more
03:21responsibilities now I have a wife a
03:23serious commitment to her and I want to
03:26make sure that we have a happy and
03:28financially secure future
03:30and me hopping back on steroids is going
03:33against everything I said I would do
03:35it's compromising my health my Integrity
03:38because now I'm going against my own
03:39word it's compromising my trust and with
03:43you the fans that are watching my
03:45content it's compromising my future and
03:48most importantly my business because
03:51when I'm focused on being a competitive
03:54athlete it's taking away from energy and
03:58time that I could be putting
04:00into my business which is going to give
04:02me dramatically more in return than me
04:05stepping on stage as a bodybuilder or me
04:08breaking another world record as a
04:09powerlifter or me trying to become the
04:12number one arm wrestler in the world or
04:14trying to become the world's strongest
04:16man in my early and mid 20s those were
04:20aspirations of mine but living a life as
04:23a competitive athlete I know firsthand
04:26from experience is a very recluse and I
04:31lifestyle especially as a bodybuilder
04:34which is why I never was able to commit
04:38one being a competitive
04:41bodybuilder even at the amateur level
04:43trying to go pro let alone as a pro
04:45level at the pro level trying to become
04:49Olympia is a very restrictive lifestyle
04:53and my hat goes off to those that are
04:56able to keep a healthy relationship and
05:00build their business and
05:02live and manage a successful career
05:06while being a competitive professional
05:08bodybuilder because for
05:13on the kitchen sink as a cycle Tren Clen
05:18T3 anavar this that everything and get
05:21my hands on and efforts to become Pro
05:23and be a competitive bodybuilder it
05:26changes me it changes who I am and and
05:30when I'm malnourished I'm eating
05:34thousand calories a day I'm on no carbs
05:36I'm not sleeping because of the drugs
05:38I'm taking I'm irritable right I can't
05:41go out and enjoy my life with my wife or
05:44really do anything beyond train and
05:48eat which was okay before I was married
05:52I've had Partners I've had girlfriends
05:54and they come and go and if they W
05:56willing to support my lifestyle for me
05:59that was was fine I was selfish I was
06:01saying listen if you don't want to live
06:03this life with me then you can go kick
06:06rocks but most of them tolerated it and
06:09it wasn't an issue but for the level of
06:12commitment I have to my wife it's
06:15betrayal to her she didn't marry a
06:17bodybuilder I was in a bodybuilder when
06:19she met me and I don't even like myself
06:22when I'm deep in prep as a bodybuilder
06:25because of the reasons I mentioned I'm
06:26irritable I'm not sleeping I'm hungry
06:29all the time I'm frustrated when people
06:31around me are enjoying food and enjoying
06:32their life I just feel like I'm a Debbie
06:35down and I'm bringing down the people
06:36around me I don't want to be that person
06:38and again I tip my hat to those that are
06:40able to live that life all the time and
06:42not compromise their relationships and
06:44not compromise their business I
06:46personally cannot do it and it's
06:48frustrates me to say that it's not for
06:50me it's too hard for me I cannot apply
06:53myself and commit to that lifestyle and
06:56I believe it's because of the lack of
07:00passion and the reason why I got into it
07:03in the first place the reason why I set
07:05my goals on bodybuilding in the first
07:06place it was from a place
07:10of well can I get more famous doing it
07:14can I earn more money doing it and I
07:16thought yes and attempting to become one
07:19of the best in the world with that being
07:22my aspiration with that being my
07:24motivation my driving force is the very
07:27first and biggest mistake if it it was
07:29coming from a place of I love
07:31bodybuilding and I would be willing to
07:33die for this Sport and I don't need to
07:34collect a check from I don't need to get
07:37a Pat in the back for doing it I don't
07:38need to try and become more famous or
07:41grow my business or grow my platform
07:43it's not important I just love the sport
07:45I love the lifestyle that's different
07:47and the ones that truly enjoy it and
07:49they don't expect anything in return
07:50from it are the ones that rise to the
07:52top and I'm speaking from experience
07:54because I know when I was a powerlifter
07:57as a late teen early TW in my in my and
08:0120s I did powerlifting because I enjoyed
08:05it and I didn't have any aspirations to
08:08make a living from it it wasn't till
08:11years later that I decided to monetize
08:13it because my coach and the people
08:15around me realized I had the opportunity
08:17to but it NE was never the driving force
08:20I didn't care if it made me famous or if
08:22I earned money from it that's not what
08:24got me into it that's not why I continue
08:26to do it and it was that passion of I'm
08:30willing to die for this sport because it
08:32brings me so much joy that money and
08:35fame is just the icing on top it's not
08:41now I publicly made an announcement a
08:43couple weeks couple days ago on my
08:47Instagram saying I'm going to do a show
08:48in Ireland I'm not doing that show I'm
08:50not committing to it I'm not following
08:52through with it I don't want that
08:54lifestyle for me or for my for my wife I
08:57don't want to do USA it's not for me my
09:01motivation to do it is wrong
09:04and does that make me a quitter I
09:07believe yes I am quitting I'm not
09:09following through and I believe it's for
09:12the better it's for the better good of
09:15my relationship and more importantly for
09:17my business I have a patented belt that
09:20I'm releasing later this year and I
09:21haven't spoken about it once and I
09:23started developing it early last year
09:26because I'm so caught up in trying to be
09:30bodybuilder it really DET detracts from
09:35my aspirations and the reason I said I
09:37was stop service in the first
09:39place going on trt was the best decision
09:43I've made in a very long time I felt
09:47great I looked great and for a short
09:52was having television on my business and
09:56my relationship and creating a more
09:59sustainable and better life for myself
10:00and my wife and I going back to that
10:05mindset and even better I'm going cold
10:08turkey on being a competitive athlete I
10:12believe my purpose here
10:14is to motivate people to get in the gym
10:18to find the version of Fitness that
10:22because for me it never was just one
10:25Avenue of Fitness for me I truly enjoy
10:29seeing what my body is capable of and I
10:31encourage those watching to do the same
10:34I enjoyed powering for a time I enjoyed
10:36arm wrestling for a time I enjoyed
10:38bodybuilding for a time to an extent and
10:42I stop enjoying it when it gets too
10:45extrem let's not forget I also enjoy
10:48strong man for a time but once I've made
10:52enough progress to where I feel like I'm
10:54approaching a professional level that's
10:56where it stops being fun now now it's
11:00tremendous compromise and sacrifice for
11:08and for me again in my late teens early
11:13powerlifter it the only reward I needed
11:16was hitting a PR but entering my 30s my
11:20aspirations and my responsibilties has
11:22changed dramatically and now I create
11:26content to keep me motivated and and
11:30finding more Diamonds in the Rough like
11:32Andrew Jack like Ruby l that is
11:35extremely fulfilling for me the ability
11:38to be able to use my platform to bring
11:40others up to bring eyeballs on people
11:44that haven't ever had the
11:46opportunity to realize their value and
11:49for the world to see that hey there's
11:51something extraordinary over here that
11:54is what brings me the most satisfaction
11:55in the world right now I hope I have the
11:58privilege to find another Andrew Jack
12:00and another Ruby l I hope I can be the
12:03person that can be The Guiding Light and
12:06be able to give him a platform to
12:08prosper off of right I want to be in
12:10that position right I want to take on
12:12that Mentor role and I want to be able
12:15to help those diam with in the rough get
12:18the deserved attention and
12:22opportunity and this is a very hard
12:25video to make because I've never once
12:29me competing in four different
12:31disciplines strongman bodybuilding power
12:34lifting arm wrestling I've never once
12:36pulled out of a competition because I
12:39decided it was too challenging and not
12:41for me even if I knew the prep wasn't
12:45going well or I made mistakes in the
12:47prep like going off program or not
12:51eating or not following my nutrition
12:54plan basically even if I knew that I
12:57wasn't doing what I supposed to be doing
12:58to 100% in the prep I still followed
13:01through and showed up knowing that I had
13:05left things on the table I should have
13:07been done knowing that I'm not going to
13:09take first place because of me because
13:11I've made mistakes during prep because I
13:13wasn't fully committed cuz I didn't
13:14really 100% apply myself this is the
13:17only time I've ever done that and it's
13:19because I'm so against this lifestyle
13:21it's just not for me and I am never ever
13:25going to pursue my Pro card again I'm
13:28not going to say yeah maybe I can step
13:31on the Olympia stage because I'm never
13:32going to be able to apply myself to that
13:34extent the passion isn't there for me to
13:37be able to handle to tolerate the
13:39sacrifice you need to get there and the
13:421000lb deadlift would require me to hop
13:47on more gear and eat more food and be
13:51bigger than I've ever been before which
13:53undoubtedly is the most unhealthy thing
13:55I can imagine right now and I am not do
13:59a that it's not worth the reward I am
14:02very content with my achievements in the
14:04strength world I'm happy with how far
14:07I've gotten on the squat bench delip
14:08overhead press dumbbell this that I've
14:11done many pie of strength and I'm
14:13content with my progress in them and now
14:16I'm ready for the next phas in my life
14:18for anyone that feels let down or like I
14:23apologize but this decision is the best
14:26for me my wife for my future
