01:15 either early he was sorry he or barakah
01:17 was seldom at aslim and Katherine Naomi
01:20 Dean am bad before we start today's part
01:27 in today's Jews of the Quran the third
01:29 Jews I just want to mention a few few
01:32 points number one when we did our first
01:34 session about Surat al-fatiha I was
01:37 discussing the relationship between the
01:40 basmala the bismillah with the fatiha
01:42 and how some scholars considered that
01:45 bismillah to be a verse of surat al
01:49 fatiha while others do not
01:50 but for some reason that was the first
01:52 day the first fast I kept saying
01:55 Fatiha instead of busmalis I kept saying
01:58 the Fatih is a verse of the surah
02:00 al-fatiha so that's confused a few
02:02 people so I just want to clarify that
02:04 that what it means is the relationship
02:05 between the bismillah and suratul fatiha
02:07 and whether that's a verse of surat al
02:10 fatiha or not number two just some
02:15 suggestions to try to get the best out
02:17 of this one of them is that if it's
02:20 possible that you can keep a copy of the
02:22 most of the Quran or a no translation if
02:26 possible so that you can easily access
02:28 things quickly if possible that will
02:30 make you know allow you to maybe make a
02:32 few notes marks here and there and be
02:34 able to maybe put some reminders for
02:37 something that you want to check further
02:39 and a few other things that I want to
02:41 mention is I don't know if anybody is
02:44 writing down thorough notes but if you
02:48 are then that would be really good to
02:50 let us know and just any other feedback
02:53 or any other recommendations you can
02:57 feed that back to us insha'Allah through
02:58 either my twitter account that's at
03:00 mufti AR m or you--if you really have to
03:04 then you can email us but it's better
03:06 just to do it on the twitter and that
03:09 way we can ensure Allah
03:10 understand how you guys are dealing with
03:13 this and how you're finding it and shut
03:14 Allah but now be very interested to know
03:16 if anybody is taking detailed notes
03:19 because that would be insha'Allah
03:21 something very useful for us to know
03:23 about okay so we are about to start the
03:26 third use of the Quran and we will be
03:30 looking at in Charlotte various
03:32 different aspects yeah I just want to
03:33 give you a quick overall what to expect
03:36 it starts off we're going to be treated
03:40 by some very very valuable verses I mean
03:42 all the values verses of the Quran are
03:44 very valuable but today we're going to
03:46 be treated by two treasures one is the
03:48 ayat you could see the verse of the
03:50 throne and number two is the final
03:53 verses of Surat al-baqarah which are
03:55 also considered to be a huge treasure
03:56 and extremely profound so we're going to
03:59 be treated to those two verses we're
04:02 also going to be treated to several
04:04 different stories that highlight some
04:05 very important points then eventually
04:08 we'll do a roundup of suratul baqarah
04:10 because surat al-baqara will end and
04:11 surah al-e-imran will begin and the
04:15 several different themes here that we'll
04:17 be looking at just to give you an idea
04:19 what to look out for number one there's
04:22 a lot of discussion about spending
04:23 spending in a path of allah various
04:25 examples provided for that aside from
04:27 the stories then the economic rules of
04:31 Islam to do with loans to do with RIBA
04:34 usury interest business and witnessing
04:39 such things all of this is discussed in
04:42 great detail in this surah and then we
04:44 have the discussion or in this chapter
04:47 rather and then of course another great
04:50 ayah that we have here is just by its
04:52 mere size is the longest eye in the
04:54 Quran is also in this juice in the third
04:57 juice of the Quran so let us begin now
05:00 allah subhanahu wata'ala begin this
05:03 surah begins with the ending of surat
05:06 al-baqara and as you know that certain
05:08 baqara so far has got numerous
05:09 legislative laws legislative rulings
05:12 because it's mostly a Medini surah a
05:13 medinan surah but then he also has
05:16 discussed discussions about the prophet
05:18 sallallaahu sermon the other prophets so
05:20 here it actually begins with a
05:22 discussion about the various messy
05:23 just till Caruso for Donna about the
05:26 home I'll about this discussion is that
05:28 while we do not denigrate and put down
05:29 any messenger what is mentioned here is
05:32 that there are between the messengers
05:34 there is a slight hierarchy some are
05:37 superior to others some do have certain
05:39 virtues over others and there's no doubt
05:41 about that Allah provides a few examples
05:43 by saying that some of them Allah spoke
05:45 to directly one is cally milada Musa
05:48 Musa alayhi Salam others we've put above
05:51 some of the others in terms of their
05:53 level isa Ali Salam is then spoken about
05:56 in general later on asylum is going to
05:58 be spoken about in a lot of detail and
06:00 so that's to give an understanding that
06:03 prophets were different messengers were
06:06 different that also contributed to their
06:09 Umar's their communities being different
06:11 and thus the community of the prophet
06:13 muhammad sallallahu wasallam was the
06:16 final and most superior messenger is the
06:18 highest of the messengers so that's a
06:20 kind of a lesson we get from this then
06:22 the second verse there starts off with
06:24 spending encouragement to spending
06:27 youwhen Lenina hermano and vehicle
06:29 Nomura's are kanakam spend of that which
06:32 we've given you we've given it to you in
06:34 the first way we're just telling you
06:35 spend from what we have given you before
06:39 a day comes where there'll be no more
06:40 trade there'll be no more friendship no
06:43 intercession then you really need it
06:46 then after that masha'Allah after
06:49 mentioning these allah subhanho wa taala
06:51 then treats us to one of the most
06:54 profound verses in the quran one of the
06:56 mightiest verses in the quran and is the
06:58 reason why it's so and that's the ayatul
07:00 kursi the verse of the throne it's only
07:04 made up of about 50 words 50 words you
07:07 put it all together
07:08 and you can cluster them into ten
07:11 clauses so if you split the that that
07:15 one long verse up you can split it into
07:18 ten clauses ten points which I made and
07:21 that's as I said with 50 words and in
07:24 there seventeen times is allah subhanho
07:27 wa taala mentioned 17 times either
07:31 directly or indirectly either allusion
07:36 one of his names so that that is the
07:40 verse there are numerous father and
07:42 virtues of this verse along it with it
07:44 being a source of protection most of the
07:47 time in many many cases around the world
07:49 in Muslim families it is probably one of
07:52 the first after some of the small sewers
07:55 on Surat al-fatiha is probably one of
07:56 the first verses long verses that are
07:59 memorized by children because I guess
08:01 the idea is that we want our children to
08:03 be protected there's a huge story a very
08:06 profound story of the how we came to
08:09 know that this so this ayah is a extra
08:14 is a very very secure source of
08:17 protection from all evils out there gin
08:20 evil influences and other things of that
08:23 nature so I guess parents like their
08:26 children to know that first so it is a
08:28 tradition if your parent if your
08:29 children do not know it yet you should
08:31 definitely get them to memorize it it's
08:33 a beautiful very moving very lyrical
08:35 verse of the Quran and inshallah that
08:39 would be a great source of protection
08:41 after that the discussion moves on to
08:44 the few stories the discussion moves on
08:47 to a few very profound stories and one
08:51 of them is the story of ibraheem
08:53 alehissalaam and number oude even
08:56 looking on who was this really arrogant
09:00 ruler who lived at his time and ibrahim
09:03 alaih-is-salaam had to confront him on
09:06 an occasion this this ruler used to
09:09 consider himself to be the god a god
09:11 like literally used to consider that
09:14 he's got the power to do different
09:15 things so such foolishness where abraham
09:18 al-islam challenged him to say that you
09:21 know my lord the true lord gives life to
09:24 people and can take life away and give
09:26 death so this guy foolishly to try to
09:28 prove that get somebody who's about to
09:31 be crucified or something a guilty guy
09:32 and sets him free gets another innocent
09:35 guy off the off the street and puts him
09:37 in prison saying i can do the same thing
09:39 but eventually when he's challenged with
09:42 word where the sun is brought from each
09:44 day which is sun comes out the east
09:46 allah subhanaw taala provides
09:49 the movement of the Sun from the east
09:50 that was something that he couldn't so
09:52 he he became silent then the next story
09:55 that's mentioned again you can go in to
09:57 the detail tafseer books and read this
09:59 to your heart's content here we're just
10:02 giving you a preload of all of these
10:04 things number two the the next story is
10:07 about oka lady Morella Korea well yeah
10:11 Haruna or Uchiha this in verse two
10:15 hundred two hundred and fifty nine
10:17 refers to as a rally salaam one of the
10:19 prophets of the Bani Israel
10:22 Ezra his name is Ezra in the biblical
10:24 name is Ezra he goes past the
10:26 destruction of Jerusalem such a glory
10:28 fide city that was totally destroyed and
10:30 he just laments he just thinks rings his
10:33 hands he just thinks how is this gonna
10:35 be brought back and amazingly allah
10:37 subhanho wa taala puts him to sleep
10:39 allah subhanho wa taala puts him to
10:42 sleep for about a hundred years and then
10:46 after that he is he comes back and
10:49 mashallah there it is again you know
10:51 Jerusalem is there again so these are a
10:54 number of stories then after that you've
10:55 got a very profound story of ibraheem
10:58 alehissalaam again where abraham a
11:00 lustrum asks allah subhanho wa taala
11:02 that can you please show me how you
11:04 bring dead back to life that's a very
11:07 difficult thing for people to think
11:09 right that's a very difficult thing it's
11:11 throughout I think it's a perennial
11:12 problem it seems right that over the
11:16 ages when people die they because we've
11:18 never actually seen anybody coming back
11:20 we think how is that going to be
11:22 possible that God has said so that
11:25 people are gonna come back and there's
11:29 gonna be a resurrection and it's gonna
11:30 be a whole new life after you've become
11:32 withered decomposed how is that going to
11:35 be possible so Ibrahim Ali Salim he
11:37 asked allah subhanho wa taala he had
11:39 that special connection with allah
11:40 subhanho wa taala so he says arenak a
11:44 federal motor so allah subhanho wa taala
11:46 fondly asks him i will him taught me
11:48 like don't you believe Allah knows our
11:51 Adam told me Carla Bela were lurking Lee
11:53 Optima in Nichole be just I want I want
11:56 to see this in action so then allah
11:58 subhanho wa taala tells him what to do
11:59 is take the meat of two
12:01 four Birds four different animals and
12:04 then split them up mix them up and split
12:06 them up and then call on them in the
12:07 name of Allah and they'll all come back
12:08 as a special that was a special miracle
12:12 that happened for ibraheem alehissalaam
12:13 to provide allah subhanho wa taala
12:14 mentions that here now what i want to
12:18 mention is that you since yesterday and
12:20 the day before surah al-baqarah we've
12:22 heard this discussion about coming back
12:25 to life resurrection importance of
12:27 resurrection surah al-baqarah has
12:29 actually five instances where
12:31 resurrection is mentioned bringing the
12:33 dead back to life is mentioned we're
12:34 gonna just quickly wreak recap those so
12:38 the first is the story if you remember
12:40 surah al-baqarah the Baqarah story right
12:43 which was the whole reason for them
12:44 sacrificing slaughtering the cow
12:46 so that was one that individual became
12:49 alive to say who had killed him so
12:52 that's the first story then you had
12:54 which we didn't really go into into into
12:57 too much detail where the Bani Israel
12:58 where the Israelites they wanted to see
13:01 Allah Allah they wanted to see him in
13:04 real life and allah subhanho wa taala
13:08 had them all killed that he gave them
13:10 all death but then he let them come back
13:12 to life and then after that you have the
13:16 story of those people which we discussed
13:18 at the end of yesterday's where they try
13:20 to run away from the plague then they
13:22 were all died 11 gave them life again so
13:25 that's a third instance the fourth
13:28 instance is this is a release on this
13:29 ezra story for a hundred years and the
13:32 fifth one is ibrahim alaih-is-salaam
13:34 story well it wasn't about him but it
13:36 was the birds or the animals that he had
13:39 to secure to slaughter and then they
13:41 came back to life so you've got five
13:43 discussions about that and then of
13:44 course you've got the other one that
13:45 will come about in suratul calf where
13:47 for 300 years is not about coming back
13:49 to life there it's just that somebody is
13:51 put to sleep for 300 years in a silence
13:54 right in a silence which we'll discuss
13:56 later so now this surah al-baqarah it's
14:03 going to in the following the final part
14:06 of the surah Baqarah in the in the
14:09 remaining verses it's going to discuss
14:11 some major themes number one gonna
14:14 reinforce the idea of islam
14:15 being the true religion number two
14:18 speaking about what it means to be a
14:19 true human being and in Sam number three
14:22 a huge discussion of in fact Lisa be
14:25 Lila spending in the path of allah
14:27 subhanaw taala as i mentioned yesterday
14:29 that is something by which our Deen and
14:32 the people in our Deen remain firm and
14:35 strong money is needed it's important
14:37 just needs to be done in the right way
14:40 in the right hands then he discusses
14:41 brotherhood sisterhood it discusses love
14:45 it discusses excellence and goodness and
14:48 beautification in things in specially in
14:51 the Deen there is basically nothing in
14:54 the Quran I mean already you've seen how
14:56 many things have just been discussed in
14:58 teachers and today you'll see how many
14:59 more things are discussed and then you
15:02 know you'd be scratching you had to find
15:03 something that is not discussed in some
15:05 way or the other either specifically or
15:07 either in a general sense in the Quran
15:10 and insha'Allah we're here - we're here
15:11 to try to understand that anything of
15:14 goodness it's all mentioned in the Quran
15:15 the next big theme here starting from
15:18 Masaru latina unifier Konohamaru whom
15:20 verse 261 and onwards is spending a
15:25 person's wealth in the path of allah
15:28 subhanho wa taala and to do good with
15:30 subhanAllah just today I got a I
15:32 received a question from someone who
15:33 says that he's got us he's a Muslim he's
15:36 sister he's not mostly when she's
15:37 suffering she doesn't have any money and
15:39 he set up a launch good or something to
15:42 get some money just to make it let her
15:43 survive during these times and he's
15:45 talked to other Muslims to try to help
15:47 because he's a Muslim and they say no no
15:49 we can't we can't give charity to
15:52 non-muslims and that's completely wrong
15:54 the only thing you cannot give to
15:55 non-muslims this is a cards a card is
15:57 strictly for Muslims but every other
15:59 charity is allowed for non-muslims as
16:02 well and you get a reward for giving to
16:04 non-muslims if they need you get as much
16:06 of a reward for any other needy person
16:09 of course it's a person's a Muslim there
16:11 is the icepad aspect of him being a
16:13 Muslim and that's why you may get a bit
16:14 more reward in some cases there but you
16:17 do get the reward for that so people
16:18 should consider that especially when
16:20 you're living among non-muslims
16:21 whoever's in need they're all the
16:24 bondsman of Allah and Allah loves those
16:27 good to his bones people now a few
16:30 examples some very vivid examples
16:32 graphic explicit examples are provided
16:34 here at lots of Hana what Allah says the
16:36 way to spend in the path of Allah
16:37 alluded to this I think was yesterday or
16:39 the day before that we want to observe
16:41 our money increase whereas the Deen is
16:45 so basically Allah provides one example
16:47 he says that take a farmer who puts one
16:49 seed in of corn right one seeding of
16:52 wheat that then produces the the its
16:56 plant now within that there's going to
16:58 maybe seven there's going to be seven
17:01 ears of corn or seven ears of barley or
17:03 or wheat each one of those seven is
17:07 going to have seventy seeds inside so
17:09 your one seed has multiplied to seven
17:12 times seventy right somebody wants to do
17:15 that maths seven times seventy that's
17:17 what you get out of it the other example
17:19 allah subhanho wa taala provides is an
17:22 opposite example is firm Ethel who that
17:25 those who spend maybe spend even in the
17:28 path of Allah maybe they're building
17:29 huge mosques but they're doing it to
17:31 show they're doing it for the wrong
17:33 reason without sincerity for another
17:35 ulterior motive Allah says for methyl
17:38 hookah method is soft when Ali hit Rob
17:41 fasabi who were bill vitarka who sal de
17:43 la coruña regime in mecca Sabu and this
17:46 is verse 264 which talks about another
17:50 farmer for instance who goes and finds a
17:53 place and he thinks it looks very good
17:54 but what it is is that it's a very it's
17:56 a big boulders it has a small amount of
17:59 somebody scattered a bit of soil and
18:00 then he goes puts his seeds in there and
18:03 suddenly the rain comes just a bit of
18:05 rain or whatever and it just basically
18:07 washes all the soil and seed and
18:09 everything away and he's left with
18:10 nothing so even though he may have done
18:14 something big and produce something huge
18:16 but he gets nothing out of that
18:18 that's why sincerity in a class of one
18:20 pound one dollar one rupee spent in the
18:23 path of Allah is huge compared to so
18:27 much more spent without any without any
18:29 sincerity so those are examples that are
18:33 provided in these verses and then after
18:35 that allah subhanho wa taala mentions
18:37 the number of other i mean you can tell
18:41 is very it's very restricted in its
18:45 words right because it mentions
18:47 everything within you know 114 surahs of
18:50 the Koran of varying sizes so it's very
18:52 careful how much that the quran wastes
18:56 no words there's no verbosity in the
18:58 quran right there's no that there's no
19:02 extra superfluous information where
19:04 everything is very relevant so now
19:06 spending so much time on the concept of
19:10 spending and how to make your spending
19:11 well worth it and beneficial and pure
19:14 allah subhanaw taala provides a number
19:16 of other things through the following
19:18 verses from 265 and onwards so allah
19:21 subhanho wa taala says that number one
19:22 if you don't have anything to spend what
19:24 do you do after listening to all of
19:25 these virtues hey I want to spend as
19:27 well but I got nothing to spend I mean
19:28 needs so what you do allah subhanho wa
19:30 taala them says well at least speak a
19:33 good word at least speak a good word and
19:38 that in itself for making people call
19:41 ummah roofin or mouthy rotten hiram min
19:44 so departing at baraha other right
19:46 saying a good word and forgiveness is
19:49 superior to that charity which is
19:52 followed by harm oppression hey I helped
19:55 you out you need to do this for me
19:56 calling in your favors afterwards then
19:59 allah subhanho wa taala says another
20:01 adeb or etiquette of charity is that
20:05 make sure that you only give that which
20:07 is good make sure that you only give
20:11 that which is good and pure yeah which
20:15 is yeah you alladhina amanu and vehicle
20:16 mean peggy baty makkah septim right
20:19 verse 267 another one that we forgot is
20:23 do not obliterate and make void your
20:28 charity by reminders hey I gave you or
20:31 by following it up with the difficulty
20:34 so allah subhanho wa taala provides all
20:36 of this guidance allah subhanaw taala
20:38 says looking you can give charity openly
20:40 if you want to there's a benefit in that
20:41 and you can give charity silently where
20:44 nobody knows that's superior because i'm
20:47 the one in the first one you have to
20:48 have a very pure intention because when
20:50 you give something and everybody's
20:52 watching immediately Shaitaan comes our
20:54 and we think like hey they're gonna call
20:56 me very generous or or very righteous
21:00 and so on so that's why you can't give
21:01 it openly because one of the benefits of
21:03 giving openly sometimes is so that you
21:04 encourage others to do the same so if
21:07 somebody does want to match all the
21:09 donations collected in a fundraising
21:11 program and it openly declares that
21:13 that's fine it's up to his intention
21:15 that's what's important right so Allah
21:19 says into so ducati phanie Rhema here
21:21 way in tofua that's verse 271 then surah
21:26 al-baqarah in terms of the other
21:30 legislative rulings that are mentioned
21:32 here allah subhanaw taala specifically
21:36 speaks about a very good recipient of
21:38 charity little for Cara Illidan of ceará
21:40 visa bill Allah lies dr. Llorona Durbin
21:43 yes mo huge our hero of Ania I mean a
21:45 tariff of verse 273 that's a very
21:48 important one who are the best people
21:50 that you can give your charity to saying
21:52 the best that sometimes those who do not
21:55 ask and when you look at them you think
21:57 that they they're okay that they even
21:59 wealthy in some cases but they're
22:00 actually in need but their sense of
22:03 dignity and honor and their trust in
22:05 Allah stops and it stops them from
22:07 questioning seek out those kind of
22:09 people not that people to come and beg
22:11 in your face but it's better to seek out
22:13 these kind of people
22:14 and so holla'd those who will seek these
22:16 people out they'll get a huge amount of
22:18 reward insha Allah then we begin the
22:21 second quarter of the surah of the
22:23 chapter other so in terms of the command
22:26 the rulings that are mentioned there
22:27 allah subhanho wa taala now really
22:29 really takes to toss the whole concept
22:32 of RIBA he wants to completely abolish
22:33 it because remember in makka mukarrama
22:35 when Islam began and prior to Islam
22:38 rebar was rife right user he was rife it
22:41 used to happen they used to do compound
22:43 interest if you couldn't pay up in one
22:45 year then that entire amount including
22:48 the interest becomes the capital and
22:50 then there's a interest on top of that
22:52 then in the third year if that continues
22:54 again that whole amount including
22:56 interest becomes capital and then
22:58 interest on top of that which is which
23:01 was extremely oppressive so allah
23:02 subhanho wa taala DM Haku Lahore RIBA
23:04 where you'll be sadaqa allahu la yuhibbu
23:07 Kula Catherine a theme
23:08 allah subhanho wa taala will obliterate
23:10 and will basically make null anything
23:14 with ribbon lots of people have had this
23:16 experience where they've dealt in river
23:17 for a very long time and they've just
23:19 suffered at the end and those people who
23:21 didn't do that give sadaqa instead just
23:23 to look at the example of Abdul Rahman
23:25 without Freddie along the way he built
23:26 his business up literally just by
23:28 spending in the path of Allah he would
23:30 spend and he'd make a lot more says I
23:32 can you know you can give a 10 in the
23:35 morning and make a thousand by the night
23:37 that needs a bit of dawah cool but
23:40 believe me I can say from experience
23:42 that this is absolutely true it's it's a
23:45 word of the Quran just saying from
23:47 now what allah subhanho wa taala does he
23:50 is that as opposed to everything else
23:52 this is one of the Severus warnings that
23:55 allah subhanho wa taala provides maybe
23:56 even in the entire Quran from you know
23:59 were in the sense of the world okay lots
24:01 of discussion about punishments of the
24:03 hereafter but in terms of punishment in
24:05 this world or a declaration in this
24:09 world one of the most Severus warnings
24:10 are given with regards to those who
24:12 consume the interest and that is allah
24:15 subhanho wa taala says for Ilham the
24:17 pharaoh like if you do not give up
24:20 you know the yo riba etc the new bihar
24:23 be min allahi wa rasuluh listen to the
24:26 announcement here the announcement of a
24:28 war from allah and his messenger that is
24:33 such a severe warning in this world is
24:36 very limited you find that in terms of
24:39 these kind of warnings and that is
24:41 what's mentioned here then after that
24:45 something very interesting is that Allah
24:50 subhana WA Ta'ala discusses in in you
24:53 know when you when you look back at
24:54 these verse allah subhanho wa taala you
24:56 see that he really discusses the
24:57 benefits the virtues the increase the
25:00 spiritual benefits of giving sadaqa and
25:02 the virtues and adam and so on and then
25:05 he discusses lots of the harms of
25:07 interest and oppressive economics
25:10 oppressive economics so Han Allah this
25:13 time right now that we're going through
25:15 tells you why RIBA is such a problem
25:17 because they know that people you know
25:22 whatever they have right in terms of the
25:24 economic status of this time that's why
25:26 they've just put down the interest rates
25:28 completely right it's just completely
25:31 down I don't know why they just don't
25:33 put it 2-0 they've still got in a small
25:34 percentage well that just shows that
25:36 this should be the default status that
25:38 should be zero right they can only take
25:40 advantage when people have excess money
25:42 and greed right so when they have that
25:45 when the economic economy is supposedly
25:47 doing well it's a big bubble then that's
25:50 actually further magnified by interest
25:52 but this is the real sense that this is
25:54 how it should be way it should be zero
25:58 so these are a few things that we just
26:01 want to give a quick comparison because
26:03 a lot takes so much time doing that here
26:04 right spend so many verses on that the
26:07 difference is between sadaqa and
26:09 interest because it's so difficult for
26:12 people to get out of interest they just
26:13 see it as such a logical way to do
26:16 things why should I put my own money and
26:18 I've spoken to people about it why
26:19 should I risk my own money I take money
26:21 3% from the bank I'm making 7% profits
26:25 so I'm I'm not risking my own money the
26:27 3% I give I still make 4% you know or
26:31 10% or whatever why should I risk my own
26:33 money Subhan Allah there was a family
26:35 who had a number of property hotels etc
26:38 this is what he told me about 15 years
26:41 ago or 20 years ago then I called him
26:43 after about 10 years and they were
26:45 suffering when the downturn happened in
26:47 so these are the difference quickly
26:50 number one sadaqa is one of those things
26:55 where allah ho akbar
26:57 they're totally two opposite so in
27:00 sadaqa there's a concept of ehsan'
27:02 of benefiting somebody of assisting
27:05 someone of purity right of pure
27:08 intention of mutual assistance
27:11 whereas in RIBA it's all based on it's
27:15 based on bocal it's based on would you
27:19 call it my Salinas agreed the dirt
27:24 interest and all of that is basically
27:26 the dirt of the wealth and on very
27:29 selfish nature number two sadaqa is
27:34 in in when you give sadaqa it's much
27:37 easier because when you give sadaqa it's
27:38 maybe difficult to give in the beginning
27:40 but then you forgotten because it's gone
27:41 it's gone to Allah now you don't have to
27:43 worry about when am I gonna get it back
27:45 right because when you give a charity
27:47 you give it to give an interest loan
27:50 you're waiting for you to come back when
27:52 is it gonna come back right so there's
27:54 that then also another thing is that
27:58 whereas when it comes to RIBA it's about
28:00 when am I gonna get my money back and
28:02 when am I gonna get the excess when am I
28:04 gonna get the additional RIBA as well
28:05 number three with giving charity you're
28:09 increasing the mutual love between
28:11 people and whereas with the RIBA there's
28:16 lots of hatred that's especially when
28:17 things go wrong then Subhan Allah then
28:19 you start hating the person who's
28:20 charging you right and that's why they
28:22 call him loan sharks and moneylenders of
28:25 that nature number the the the the
28:28 another point is that in sadaqa allah
28:31 they've got the they've they've got an
28:33 announcement from allah of love so allah
28:36 loves those who give sadaqa and charity
28:38 right and forgiveness as well whereas
28:41 those who consume interest who deal with
28:42 interest for them there's curse and
28:45 there's also the announcement of a war
28:49 against them that's why emotionally as
28:52 well it's a it's a big problem
28:54 emotionally as well it's a big problem
28:56 that's where allah subhanaw taala says
28:57 that those people who deal in interest
28:58 yet they they will come like the one yet
29:02 the hobbit' of Shaitaan noumenal mess
29:04 like possessed individuals there are
29:06 certain signs of such people in this
29:08 world who are into this quick-quick
29:10 gambling and quick quick turn over
29:12 things where they're always constantly
29:14 furtively looking where they're gonna
29:16 make the extra buck but in hereafter
29:18 they'll come out like that anyway allah
29:21 subhanho wa taala then continues the
29:22 discussion about business and there
29:24 you've got the longest verse in the
29:26 Quran where Allah subhana WA Ta'ala says
29:28 that whenever you got a deal with
29:29 somebody make sure you write it down
29:31 certain etiquette to avoid difficulties
29:33 to avoid arguments disputes
29:37 misunderstandings and thus quarrels and
29:40 breakup of families which generally
29:42 happens because people are very casual
29:44 about these things so allah subhanho wa
29:46 taala says yeah you ladina mean that
29:47 Dian Toby Dannon illa a jelly Moo salmon
29:52 recorded this is as I said the longest
29:56 verse which also gives us an
29:58 understanding that he put it all
29:59 together it must be something symbolic
30:00 and significant in that because there's
30:02 lots of other discussions like the Reba
30:04 discussion put that all in one verse he
30:06 put that in several different verses so
30:08 there must be something to significance
30:10 in that as well so anyway these are the
30:12 following things that Allah tells us in
30:14 this in this general verse number one
30:18 make sure that you write down any credit
30:21 any credit or loans or anything where
30:24 anything is given on credit make sure
30:26 you write it down record it report it
30:28 nowadays is much easier if you do it
30:29 online right because everything gets
30:31 recorded right generally that becomes
30:33 easier by default but have an intention
30:36 to follow the verse you get rewarded for
30:37 that then number two make sure that
30:41 whenever you do have a credit agreement
30:43 with somebody you know the time period
30:45 right I need it back by this time make
30:48 sure that's mentioned don't keep it open
30:49 number three that's why I saying Allah
30:52 Halima sama right to it fixed time
30:55 number three if you're on a journey I
30:58 mean nowadays even on a journey you can
31:00 write these things down because you can
31:01 dime on the phone but the Quran is
31:03 talking about places where you don't
31:04 have that access and you can't get pen
31:06 to paper and so on then maybe you can
31:08 use a collateral right if you want a
31:11 security you can use a collateral which
31:13 is you give something of your asset a
31:15 valuable asset for them to hold that's
31:17 allowed as well then allah subhanaw
31:19 taala does say to make sure that nobody
31:21 takes this overboard that i go to the
31:23 shop and i buy something there i pay the
31:24 money i take it while they give you a
31:27 receipt because there's always about
31:28 exchanges and refunds nowadays but you
31:31 don't need to write it down if it's just
31:34 straightforward you don't need to write
31:36 that down teach arith and how their
31:37 autumn baina come there's no need to
31:39 write it down because that would cause
31:41 unnecessary difficulty so there's a huge
31:44 balance in the sharia about this now
31:47 since return baccarat has discussed
31:50 salat zakat fasting Hajj jihad charity
31:56 RIBA economics palak EDA mica etc
32:01 the ending of it the ending of the surah
32:04 Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala says that la
32:08 you can live allahu nafsan allows that
32:12 relates to everything before it so allah
32:15 will not make somebody responsible for
32:17 what they do not have the ability to do
32:19 a blind person can never be forced to
32:24 look at something and be punished if he
32:25 doesn't whatever Allah has charged this
32:28 with it's things that we can do and
32:30 should be able to do so for example even
32:33 in fasting Allah has given us
32:34 dispensations if you're traveling and
32:36 you can't fast you don't have to do it
32:38 if you're sick you can't fast you can do
32:40 it up later there are dispensations
32:42 because Allah does not want to place a
32:45 burden upon people that they cannot bear
32:48 Subhan Allah the last verse or the last
32:51 three verses from lillahi Murphy's
32:53 summit and then which is verse number
32:56 284 and then after the almond or Rasool
32:59 is considered to be the hearty mob surat
33:01 al-baqara huge virtues about that the
33:04 the hadith mentioned that if you read
33:06 from Amman or Rasul to the end and again
33:07 that's something you should also have
33:08 your children memorize in yourselves if
33:10 you read that in the evening when going
33:13 to sleep it says catheter who they will
33:15 suffice him they will suffice that
33:17 individual either suffice him from the
33:20 right the Quran has that they must read
33:22 a certain portion a day if they don't
33:25 but they read at least this at the end
33:26 of the day insha Allah that should
33:28 could be protection it could be
33:30 protection for your needs of the world
33:33 so many differently that's why it's a
33:34 good idea to read a man a rustle until
33:36 the end and understand it as far as
33:39 possible also before you go to sleep now
33:42 these are some very important verses and
33:45 I just want to mention there's a hadith
33:46 in Bukhari and Muslim which discuss the
33:48 backdrop of the revelation of this verse
33:51 firstly Allah revealed Allah him a visa
33:53 Marathi oh ma fille Lord when in tube do
33:55 Murphy and Fosse come out of who you has
33:58 him come Villa if you reveal that which
34:00 is in yourself or you keep it hidden
34:02 Allah is gonna reckon you and Allah is
34:05 gonna take it Allah is going to take
34:08 now when the Sahaba saw this remember
34:10 they wanted a hundred percent grades in
34:12 everything of their life that they did
34:14 so they got very pretty
34:15 they said that look you know for outside
34:17 we you know there's things that we can
34:19 regulate and we can control but when it
34:21 comes to thoughts we have no control and
34:22 if we're going to be accountable for our
34:24 thoughts as well you know fleeting
34:27 thoughts that come to the mind Shaitaan
34:28 gives you thoughts we're dead
34:30 so they came to the promise of loss and
34:32 said how can we fulfill this we're in
34:35 trouble now and the prophets are awesome
34:37 said something very interesting and that
34:38 is such a that is such a touching
34:43 understanding of that the prophets are
34:45 lost and said look do you want to be
34:47 like the people before you who said we
34:49 heard and we disobeyed like we can't do
34:50 this it's too difficult
34:52 instead say a man say that we believe
34:56 and we obey and they said that they
35:00 listened immediately and they said that
35:01 and then it mentions in the hadith that
35:03 it made it so easy and then allah
35:05 subhanaw taala reveals the next part
35:06 which is a man or a soul to say that you
35:09 will not be taken to task for what you
35:11 do not have the ability so essentially
35:14 the idea of this is Allah revealed the
35:16 first part first tested them with it as
35:19 soon as they passed the test to say okay
35:21 we're gonna do our best
35:22 yeah Allah Allah then lessened it on
35:24 them the burden upon them and said no
35:26 you will not be taken to task that's why
35:28 the door in there is very powerful Robin
35:30 alert ahamill arena is a wallet a
35:32 Madonnina Easter on Kamehameha who are a
35:34 Latina Min Ko Olina and then Robin Allah
35:37 tohe milna Molitor catalana be right do
35:40 not let us bear the burdens like the
35:42 people before us had to bear some really
35:44 difficult missile among the Bani Israel
35:46 and so on that they had two laws that
35:48 they had to follow and do not make us do
35:51 those things do not let us have a burden
35:53 of such thing that we do not have the
35:55 ability to bear why for Finland or
35:58 Hamner and so on until the end
36:00 very profound verse I would suggest you
36:01 check it up now so Han Allah we move on
36:05 to surah al-e-imran may allah subhanho
36:07 wa taala give us the trophy to complete
36:08 this as well and the others were just
36:10 like surah al-baqarah surah al-e-imran
36:12 now starts in the third just after
36:16 286 verses of surat al-baqara the
36:19 longest surah in the the longest word in
36:21 the quran this surah surah al-e-imran is
36:23 definitely Madani right is deafening
36:26 medinan that's why get ready for a lot
36:28 because the Medina inverses they
36:31 incorporate a lot more laws as if as
36:33 opposed to just establishing the basis
36:35 of the faith includes that as well
36:37 now the reason is called surah
36:39 al-e-imran I mean you can split this
36:41 entire up in two hundred verses
36:43 approximately right two hundred verses
36:46 so it's smaller than suratul baqarah and
36:48 people have split it up in two themed
36:51 attic sections so according to those
36:53 what they call ruku is where you can
36:55 read per rock art of a 20-acre taraweeh
36:59 and and still finish the Quran right in
37:02 good time they call ruku say it's got
37:04 twenty Roku's in here so twenty major
37:07 sections thematic sections you can call
37:10 them different themes why is it called a
37:12 al means the family of and Imran
37:15 obviously that's the name of someone so
37:17 it's the family of Imran the reason is
37:19 that is a huge discussion about the
37:21 family remember on the family of Imran
37:22 Imran his wife Hannah right been too far
37:26 who that we're gonna speak about her
37:27 then his daughter Miriam been to Iran
37:30 which is Mary right and then after that
37:34 ISA alayhi Salam so there's a huge
37:37 discussion about that but it's not
37:38 entirely just exclusively about that but
37:40 that is one of the big themes of this
37:42 surah and that's why the show is called
37:44 surah al-e-imran according to a hadith
37:49 of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
37:50 sallam it has huge virtues Surat
37:54 al-baqarah surah al-e-imran a called the
37:57 Sahara wane the two illuminated things
38:00 the two illuminated chapters or you can
38:03 say the Sun and the moon of the Quran
38:05 because they hold summer they make up a
38:08 good portion of the Quran with a lot of
38:10 the basic rulings that are required for
38:13 Muslims to understand so the prophets
38:15 also I'm actually encouraged that people
38:16 read this and understand both of these
38:18 surahs and insha'Allah Allah accept this
38:21 endeavor of ours right now in in
38:23 insha'Allah for that purpose as well now
38:26 whereas in surat al-baqara you had a lot
38:29 of discussion the primary discussion was
38:31 to the Bani Israel though there was a
38:33 discussion with the with the nasarah
38:35 and the munafiqeen and so on as well the
38:37 hypocrites but in suratul sort Ali Imran
38:42 is to do with the nesara and the the
38:46 Nazarenes the christians as such the
38:48 people of the Christian faith that's
38:50 very very relevant to early emraan
38:52 because that's Mary Jesus peace be upon
38:55 him so there's a lot of discussion about
38:58 that again the surah begins in a similar
39:01 way to Surat al-baqarah Alif LAAM Meem
39:04 very Cal kitab will arrive fe they're
39:06 here it's Allahu Allah Allahu Allahu
39:09 Allahu Allah whom there is no god except
39:13 he he is the living and a
39:15 self-subsisting then again as I
39:17 mentioned before that with the whole of
39:19 Makkah taught you generally have a
39:20 discussion about the Quran so he says
39:22 nas allah allah al-kitab will hug allah
39:25 has revealed a book upon you with the
39:28 truth masada Colima been a a day which
39:30 confirms everything that they had in
39:32 front of them from the previous nations
39:34 before what Angela Tabata when in Jilin
39:36 he's also the one that's revealed the
39:37 taurat and the injeel now one of the
39:40 reasons why a lot of the verses here
39:42 were revealed right
39:45 in fact 80 verses of the two hundred
39:50 verses about 80 of these verses were
39:52 revealed on a particular occasion it's a
39:55 very interesting occasion it's when
39:57 there was a delegation from the from the
39:59 Nazarenes the Christians of maggiorin
40:01 came to madina munawwara right
40:05 remember this was a new faith and they
40:07 wanted they wanted to have a discussion
40:09 so it's kind of very interesting
40:10 discussion which I'll leave you to read
40:13 indeed in detail but the main thing is
40:15 that there are two types of verses that
40:19 you'll find in here regarding that
40:21 discussion one is one is allah subhanho
40:27 wa taala says he reminds us from this
40:29 verse number 7 who are the ancillary
40:31 al-kitab I mean who I are to mahkumat
40:33 here there's a division of the two types
40:35 of verses that will be found in the
40:37 Quran the first are the mahkumat the
40:40 unambiguous absolute where there's not
40:44 much of it there's not much of a scope
40:46 of any other meaning the very clear-cut
40:47 and explicit those are the those are the
40:50 humble kitab they're the main
40:54 they're the main unambiguous words a
40:57 versus but then you have other verses or
41:00 other mentions in the Quran like Alif
41:03 LAAM Meem and so on or roar and things
41:05 like that which are called a mutashabiha
41:07 hurts the ambiguous ideas there's a
41:10 purpose behind ambiguous ideas some of
41:12 which we discussed earlier but don't get
41:15 confused between the two do not make the
41:17 humble kita do not take the firm
41:19 absolute verses and try to problematize
41:23 them and try to bring about different
41:25 ideas in them right and likewise don't
41:27 look at the mutashabiha insist on one
41:29 meaning only so that is why allah then
41:31 says that those people who have some
41:33 deviance in their heart they go after
41:36 after the ambiguous ones to try to
41:39 create a fitna and a challenge and a
41:41 dispute and problems in the community
41:44 then that's followed by two robbing
41:47 Allah to Z of Cubana a quranic dua that
41:51 o allah do not cause our hearts to
41:52 deviate after you've guided us and grant
41:54 us mercy from you that's it our that we
41:56 should be making every day really now it
42:00 carries on to beyond verse 18 it will
42:04 carry carry on then two discussions of
42:07 tawheed because remember it's to do with
42:09 the christians and they used to believe
42:12 jesus is the son of God right so that's
42:15 why a big discussion is to do with
42:17 though he didn't hear allah subhanho wa
42:20 taala then critiques the religion the
42:23 the so called later religion of the
42:26 Christians and Jews and the problems
42:28 that have crept in there after the
42:30 changes over the centuries and he speaks
42:33 about also some of the crimes committed
42:35 by them some of the excesses committed
42:37 by them so he for example he talks about
42:39 them killing the prophets for a spilling
42:43 blood in the world spilling blood of
42:45 innocent people another one is to
42:47 basically oppress people and take their
42:49 rights away and allah subhanho wa taala
42:51 is trying to tell the believers now that
42:53 there is something that you need to
42:55 avoid and in fact he also mentions that
42:56 in verse 28 that you should not take
43:00 them as bosom close friends you should
43:02 not take them as such close friends that
43:04 you become impacted by their way you can
43:08 right and that comes more later in other
43:10 parts of the Quran but here allah
43:12 subhanho wa taala is is is basically
43:14 just saying that you should you should
43:16 avoid that lie ahead in minimal caffeine
43:19 olia i mean doing in what mean at the
43:21 expense of believers you take them as
43:23 your close ones instead then after that
43:27 Allah Subhanahu WA Ta'ala speaks about
43:30 there's three stories three very
43:35 important stories very significant
43:38 stories that I mentioned and obviously
43:40 that relates to the other Imran right a
43:44 number of extraordinary events are
43:46 taking place now you've probably heard
43:47 these stories I'm not gonna go into
43:48 great detail about them but generally
43:50 hear about them around 25th of December
43:53 when we have our lectures and programs
43:55 at that time the story of Jesus peace be
43:57 upon him is miraculous birth the Islamic
43:59 understanding I'll give you a summary of
44:01 that but we have some lectures on some
44:03 some Academy where you can go go and
44:05 listen to that inshallah in more detail
44:07 but anyway the idea is that you have
44:09 Imran and his wife whose name is Hannah
44:15 she once sees this bird having children
44:17 and looking after them and as a mother
44:20 he's very old but as a as a woman women
44:23 have this natural state emotion to want
44:26 children to bear children all right so
44:30 when she sees that she makes a desire
44:33 dua to allah subhana wa ta'ala and this
44:37 teaches us a lesson especially i mean
44:38 i've got a whole section on this in my
44:41 marriage book about dealing with
44:42 infertility because that's a very
44:44 difficult thing for a lot of people to
44:46 deal with it's extremely huge pressure
44:48 not just on themselves but from people
44:50 around them as though you know it's in
44:51 their hands so like when are you gonna
44:53 have a child when are you gonna have a
44:55 son subhanAllah this is oppression you
44:58 should you should let people be and just
45:00 make do offer them but anyway there's a
45:02 strategy taught to us here
45:06 so Maria Molly has salaam sorry Hannah
45:08 she says that in Nina door to like a
45:11 Murphy button Imahara basically she's
45:13 saying that any child that I'm gonna get
45:14 your oh Allah I'm gonna I'm gonna
45:17 dedicate them to the Masjid now
45:19 generally the temple
45:21 it was men who were dedicated to the
45:23 service of the temple so she expected to
45:25 get a son so then anyway she then
45:27 becomes pregnant right she becomes
45:31 pregnant and then she phenomena water at
45:36 her call a table being neewa dark to her
45:38 antha so you know from verse 36 and
45:41 onwards right when she actually gave
45:43 birth she gives birth to a daughter
45:45 rather than a son so she exclaims in
45:48 surprise that I've given birth to a
45:49 daughter and she's wondering now at
45:52 around the same time her husband passes
45:54 away another child is going to be
45:57 dedicated so against the norm it seems
46:00 they accepted her at the temple and
46:02 Zakaria Adi has a day his salam who was
46:05 actually related right to to maryam this
46:09 is maryam was born so he looks after her
46:12 now he's looking after the story is well
46:14 known he's gotta in a chamber she lives
46:16 in a room and no man you know only he
46:19 looks after her there's no other man
46:20 there's no touching with any men at all
46:23 but then suddenly she finds that there's
46:25 these amazing fruits there right imagine
46:28 mangoes in December in England right I
46:31 mean it happens actually if you come
46:32 from South America but I mean but
46:35 basically imagine mangoes in India in
46:37 December it's not gonna happen
46:38 right but basically the idea is that
46:40 they're getting she's getting all of
46:41 these these fruits out of season so he's
46:44 wondering he's saying analogy hava
46:46 where'd you getting where you getting
46:48 this from what what you there in the
46:50 Hadees call column on your analogy had a
46:52 caller to Amina in the LA so then the
46:57 way the Quran says it who nanika that a
46:59 second the courier ISM is very old
47:01 his wife is old say some say over 100
47:04 and she's also known to be barren but
47:08 Subhan Allah they make ado are the
47:11 courier is a makes it or kohlrabi Hubley
47:13 milodon kazoo written by Heba in the
47:16 casimiro Dora and so Hana sure enough
47:18 his wife becomes pregnant so one idea is
47:22 that if you can't have children then
47:24 make an intention that oh Allah if you
47:26 give me a child I will dedicate that
47:29 child to the service of your Deen I will
47:31 make them a half if I will make them in
47:35 if it's a girl and I'm gonna dedicate
47:37 them to the service of the Dean have a
47:40 pious reason motivation for doing that
47:42 and there's several other suggestions
47:45 that there are there as well
47:47 so anyway that then happens and
47:51 masha'Allah she was such a she was such
47:56 a you know significant factor for
48:00 Zachary re sallam making that dua to
48:02 allah subhanho wa taala so allah
48:03 subhanho wa taala gives him a son and
48:05 his name is yeah yeah he's a cousin of
48:06 icily salaam right a solace tom is gonna
48:09 come soon as well so first he talks
48:11 about yeah hani salaam and allah
48:13 subhanho wa taala says about yah hey
48:14 Alice I'm gonna give you a child with
48:16 all of these I'm gonna give you a child
48:18 who is a u.s. raka be here Mossad become
48:21 became a team in Allah West Aida
48:24 waha surah wanna be a Minnesotan is also
48:26 gonna be a prophet it's gonna be very
48:28 chaste he's gonna be a prophet as well
48:30 and he's gonna be a leader and he's
48:32 wondering how is am I gonna have a child
48:33 but allah subhanaw taala then tells him
48:35 okay do not do this for such long and so
48:38 on and then he has the child then after
48:40 that the discussion is about now Maria
48:41 Molly sternum hood long discussion
48:43 she goes to baytullah Bethlehem and
48:45 there she's gonna have a child suddenly
48:47 you know when she discovers that she's
48:49 pregnant after this encounter with an
48:51 angel right who doesn't touch of it says
48:53 I'm gonna blow the spirit in you and
48:55 then after that when she becomes
48:56 pregnant she's hiding it so she has to
48:58 run away she runs away to beta lung
49:00 and there she gives the child as a
49:01 miraculous short maryam the chapter of
49:04 Maryam is full discourse about that in
49:06 detail which we don't have the time to
49:08 go to right now but then the rest of
49:10 that discussion is here which you can
49:12 inshallah read easily salam is called in
49:16 this part isa islam is called a carry
49:18 the word of allah because he was born
49:21 from the word of allah given to mariam
49:24 alehissallaam then after that talk that
49:26 he's gonna have an element aqua zuhr
49:28 than a bada and so on and that's about
49:31 yahi salaam as well then what we have is
49:35 we will leave the more difficult and
49:38 story of asylees salam to sort maryam
49:41 because that's where it's told in a bit
49:42 more detail some factors i mentioned
49:44 here and other details are there but the
49:46 other point here now is that east
49:49 asalaam begins as he grows up now in the
49:51 Quran or in the Bible for that matter in
49:53 the Old Testament New Testament whatever
49:55 in the New Testament the discussion of
49:57 Esau Islam is only the first birth stage
50:00 the miraculous birth then he suddenly
50:02 disappears there's no mention of him in
50:04 the Quran then suddenly he reappears and
50:06 he's giving dower he's propagating he's
50:08 inviting people to Allah when he's about
50:10 30 or so years old so in between there's
50:13 hardly any discussions mentioned even in
50:15 the New Testament or in the Quran for
50:19 unfortunately the Bani Israel of the
50:23 time even though Jesus peace be upon him
50:25 was from them they did not believe in
50:26 him some people believe but majority of
50:29 them they did not believe and eventually
50:31 the the story takes place where he is
50:33 now going to be assassinated so allah
50:39 speaks about here allah subhanho wa
50:42 taala says for the master ISA this is
50:45 verse 52 for the merese I mean who will
50:47 Kufra column and I'm sorry illallah when
50:49 he realizes that they're gonna
50:50 disbelieve they're not gonna believe he
50:52 says okay who are my assistants who are
50:55 my helpers to Allah the Hawaii in these
50:58 are his very special companions they say
51:00 nano Ansar Allah Allah
51:03 where should be under Musa moon so then
51:06 Allah finishes that part off by saying
51:08 wa makara amakura law they had all the
51:11 strategies and plots in place to finish
51:14 him off but allah subhanho wa taala
51:16 strategy was greater that's why he was
51:19 lifted so now the very quickly the story
51:22 of Esau Ali Salaam is that he was
51:25 sitting in the room he found out that he
51:26 they were coming to take him away or
51:28 assassinate whatever it was and one
51:30 story is that he asked one of his
51:33 students who disciples that who will
51:36 basically go out like me with my
51:39 garments on and they will have to face
51:41 whatever the issue will be outside and
51:43 then they'll be close to me in paradise
51:45 so one of them did that he went out he
51:47 was made to look like Esau D Salaam and
51:50 he was the one that was crucified and
51:52 Esau D sallam was raised up to the
51:54 heavens that's why this will come in the
51:56 next in the six Jews we'll be discussing
51:58 this in detail not gonna go into it
51:59 right now right so we'll leave the
52:02 about that inshallah so just wait until
52:05 the 6th Jews when we discuss them now
52:07 then after that last quarter if God
52:10 Allah we are ISA amimoto efika what are
52:12 Furyk Allah tells you sorry Salam that
52:15 I'm gonna eventually give you death I'm
52:17 gonna raise you to me and I'm gonna
52:18 purify you from those who disbelieved
52:20 right and I'm gonna make you among those
52:22 right who will be followed until the day
52:27 of judgement in the right way I'm gonna
52:30 actually I'm gonna put you above those
52:32 who have disbelieved so metal a mr0 come
52:35 eventually you'll have to go so
52:36 eventually assad islam is going to come
52:38 back but not as a prophet when he comes
52:40 back he'll come back as a Amati one of
52:43 the members of the nation the prophecy i
52:44 sent him but he doesn't come back in the
52:46 capacity or prophet though he is a
52:48 prophet but he doesn't come back
52:49 actively as a you know playing the part
52:52 of a prophet now allah subhanho wa taala
52:56 talks about what exactly happened is
52:58 that after these verses and after this
53:00 discussion which is in a lurid detail
53:02 with the nasa Rani's the Nazarene the
53:05 Christians eventually they refused to
53:08 believe they refused to believe so now
53:10 something very interesting happens Allah
53:12 subhana WA discusses what the Prophet
53:15 SAW was Indian famine had jkv him in
53:17 bhakti maha a criminal Alan Pakula ala
53:19 nabina anna wa Abner Yokum
53:21 when he saw Anna when he saw a comb one
53:23 force an hour and force a comb some
53:24 Merneptah hill Vanaja I learned that
53:27 Allah here I'll carry him in verse 61
53:28 this was kind of the culminating end
53:31 that when they did not listen professor
53:33 Laurie Salem gave them an ultimatum he
53:35 says ok fine you bring now out of those
53:38 that came there were about 60 people
53:40 that came out of which about fourteen of
53:44 the members of this delegation that
53:47 would come from Niger on of the
53:48 Christians of Natron out of the 60
53:50 people their rights 14 of them were some
53:55 huge religious religious and
54:00 knowledgeable scholars of this so now
54:02 what the prophets a lot of Sodom
54:03 challenges them to is that you bring
54:05 everybody that you want I'll bring
54:07 myself my women and my children and then
54:11 we will do mobile Allah right what is
54:15 mobilizer will do mutual deprecation
54:17 mutual cursing that basically will say
54:20 that if I'm incorrect in my position
54:23 than I be cursed and you will say that
54:25 if you're incorrect you'll be cursed he
54:28 gave that challenge to them despite the
54:30 fact that they were 14 of the huge
54:32 ministers there with them they refused
54:34 to come they refused to take part in
54:37 this right and over the course of
54:40 history there are been different Muslim
54:42 scholars who actually gave this
54:43 challenge it's not being taken up yet
54:45 it's a very dangerous thing to do I mean
54:48 you know Spenny when you're not hundred
54:49 percent right so then after that allah
54:53 subhanho wa taala says that okay fine if
54:56 you're not going to believe or whatever
54:57 then Allah says cool to the Prophet
55:01 Allah meeya al al khattab oh people of
55:03 the book the Allah Allah Kelly Mateen
55:05 Sawa in Boehner now Boehner can come to
55:07 a formula of faith that is universal
55:10 between us is common between us the
55:12 common expression the common formula of
55:15 faith which is that what all of you had
55:18 as well until you changed it and learn a
55:20 Buddha in la la well I know she can be
55:22 Shia when I talking about Donna about
55:24 Ann Arbor Berman do Nilla monotheism
55:27 right that we believe only in Allah we
55:30 don't ascribe any partners to him and we
55:31 don't take each other to be Lords either
55:34 for in towel oh you Lucia do be
55:37 animals even if they refuse then you say
55:39 at least I am of the submitters then it
55:43 carries on there's some other discussion
55:46 about Ibrahim Ali Salim again always
55:48 there's a discussion that ends with
55:49 Ibrahim Ali something makan Ibrahim a
55:51 yahoodi and Ibrahim oooh yahoodi and
55:54 vilanis Ronnie Ibrahim medicine was not
55:56 yahoodi he was not nice Rani
55:57 well I can kanahani from muslima he was
56:00 the submitter Muslim and Hanif which
56:03 means a pure mana theast
56:04 so I Muslims are called Muslims with the
56:06 world with their action it's not related
56:09 to a place Muslim is not related to a
56:12 place or a person you know called
56:15 right we are called Muslim and Muslim
56:18 means the submitters those who submit to
56:20 the will of Allah warns that there are
56:23 people of the book who will want you to
56:26 they'd love for you to deviate as well
56:28 and finally the surah finishes with the
56:32 discussion that they're not going to
56:34 listen then allah subhanho wa taala does
56:36 say one thing here Allah mentions that
56:40 we have taken a covenant with all the
56:43 prophets that includes the prophets of
56:44 the of the Bani Israel and others that
56:46 if Wade AHA Allah whom Ethicon nabiyeen
56:50 Adama RT to come in kita be more hikmah
56:52 Samaha akuma rasoolallah Masada column
56:55 American letterman una be wallet answer
57:00 well hasta melodica history Khalu a
57:03 Colavecchia were an american Monisha
57:06 hidden so that's verse 81 where allah is
57:10 saying that we took a covenant from all
57:12 the prophets right that we've given you
57:15 a book wisdom and so on if after that a
57:18 messenger comes to you who confirms
57:21 everything that you stand for then you
57:23 will certainly believe in him you'll
57:25 bring faith and you will assist him that
57:27 is talking about mohammed salah salem
57:28 that was actually in their books every
57:30 prophet was made to take that covenant
57:32 that's why you have discussions in the
57:34 Testament Old Testament cetera about
57:36 muhammad sallallahu wasallam
57:38 alluding to him not just there but in
57:40 many of the other witty quality books
57:43 that claim to be divine and so on so
57:45 Allah is saying that if that is the case
57:48 with your prophets then why don't you
57:49 listen you see the idea is that the Jews
57:51 the earliest they were supposed to move
57:55 on to the following of esau d salam but
57:57 they didn't they stayed where they were
57:58 right what was then relevant was
58:01 following Assadi salam so those who
58:03 followed him alhamdulillah now after
58:04 esau he sounded again the religion
58:06 became changed and confused and lots of
58:12 problems crept in so now Allah sent
58:13 Muhammad sallallaahu Salim so everybody
58:16 should have updated and upgraded to
58:18 Islam but they didn't so they've
58:20 basically stayed in the earlier versions
58:23 have not upgraded to the latest versions
58:25 and those are not being supported
58:26 anymore right those versions are not
58:29 being supported anymore the latest
58:30 version is Islam and that will remain
58:32 until the day of judgment so that's the
58:34 discussion here finally Allah subhana WA
58:39 about he really goes down on this belief
58:41 right now speaking about all the evils
58:43 of disbelief and what's gonna happen and
58:44 so on but always whenever there's
58:46 discouragement of anything there's
58:48 always encouragement that's where Allah
58:50 says Allah ladina thir blooming body 30
58:52 kvass Allah who is always a way out
58:53 right except those who accept those who
58:58 will repent and who after doing wrong
59:02 and then they will reform then allah
59:03 subhanho wa taala is always forgiving
59:05 right and the merciful and the final
59:07 verse is in the ladina calf or ramadan
59:11 allah Akala home either bananamana home
59:13 in now serene right that there's a
59:15 severe punishment for those who do not
59:17 come to the right path and they will
59:20 have no assistance in the hereafter so
59:23 just to quickly round it off with a few
59:26 additional points number one as we
59:32 mentioned there are some two very
59:33 profound and important verses that
59:35 everybody should memorize which is the
59:37 ayatul kursi and the last two verses
59:40 from amman or rasool write of surah
59:42 al-baqarah then we have the few stories
59:46 about resurrection and coming back to
59:48 life and so on then allah subhanho wa
59:51 speaks about interaction in terms of the
59:54 dane and loans and because that creates
59:57 huge discord in the in the community
59:59 when things go wrong like that that's
01:00:01 why I make sure you do it then allah
01:00:02 subhanho wa taala in surah al-e-imran
01:00:04 discusses the criterion between the
01:00:06 truth and falsehood the miraculous birth
01:00:09 of Maryam alehissalaam mother sorry
01:00:14 Maria Molly Salam herself
01:00:15 dedicated to the temple and so on and
01:00:17 then giving a lot of encouragement of
01:00:21 how to deal with not being able to have
01:00:24 children within that story as well that
01:00:27 tried to intend to have children who
01:00:30 will inshallah become of service to the
01:00:32 Dean then allah subhanho wa taala
01:00:34 discusses the importance of oneness of
01:00:39 allah and the corruption that had
01:00:41 entered into the religions of moosa and
01:00:43 essa aleihsalaam right
01:00:45 and then finally allah subhanho wa taala
01:00:48 tells us is one verse in a very
01:00:49 particular verse 113
01:00:52 rather verse 175 of al-e-imran Allah
01:00:56 says romina al-kitab you man in that man
01:00:57 who became poor in you at the he lake
01:01:00 I mean who man in Thurman who budino and
