06:59 cervani was making her posts the site
07:01 grew by 75 only fan CEO Tim Stokely said
07:05 that they were seeing about two hundred
07:07 thousand new users every 24 hours seven
07:10 to eight thousand of which were signing
07:12 up as creators I feel like there's a
07:14 joke to be made here about how the

09:22 seem anywhere near enough to buy a house

09:34 thousand dollars is certainly a decent
09:36 sum of money but it isn't the hundreds
09:39 of thousands most people would assume
09:41 this woman made and you're probably
09:43 wondering why I bring this up it's
09:45 because only fans feels like something
09:46 akin to a pyramid scheme and posts like
09:49 sarvani's which very well could have
09:51 been paid for by the company itself only
09:54 serve to get women in the door but the
09:56 promise of making their own boatload of
09:58 cash in the years since in the many
10:00 articles we've seen with similar claims
10:02 about young women buying luxury items
10:04 because of only fans how many of these
10:07 stories are actually true how many of

10:12 problem is the platform doesn't actually

10:18 women and the majority of content on the

11:24 fans seems to be under the same illusion
11:27 and yes the site itself does offer a
11:29 degree of safety and when I say safety I
11:31 may in physical safety in the sense that
11:34 you can take a picture post it online
11:36 and then you don't have to go into like
11:38 I don't know some guy's dingy flat or
11:41 have to walk the streets like a woman of
11:43 the night and potentially get murdered
11:45 by a Jack the Ripper type but only fans
11:48 also offer some degree of online
11:50 protection in the event that you are not
11:52 safe for work content is leaked to other
11:55 websites which it's going to be I mean

12:57 legal complaints to an online takedown
12:59 requests shows the dmca request for her
13:02 only fans content the site has sent out
13:05 literally dozens of takedown notices for
13:09 prawn sites that stole and distributed
13:11 her content from only fans without her
13:14 consent or approval or anything so the
13:17 idea that you can simply delete your
13:19 account and wipe your hands a bit not
13:22 the reality and also if we're being
13:24 totally honest about this it's also
13:26 wildly irresponsible for only fans to
13:29 act like it has any sort of control over
13:31 what can and can't be distributed
13:33 outside of its platform so for those of
13:35 you who've been following along let me
13:37 summarize everything for you women who
13:39 have only fans accounts or maybe who are
13:42 being paid directly by only fans itself
13:44 are making posts about their fake
13:46 success or over-inflated success this
13:49 encourages other women to sign up for
13:51 the platform where those women will go
13:53 on to make about a hundred and fifty
13:55 dollars a month when they realize this
13:57 isn't all it's cracked up to be and
13:58 these are not in fact the droids they
14:00 are looking for they will try to delete
14:02 their account not realizing that the
14:04 videos and images they shared on only
14:07 fans will exist on the internet forever

14:22 has become so normalized that nobody
14:24 really seems to give any consideration
14:26 to how it actually makes women feel

15:04 experienced massive amounts of success
15:07 on the platform but both went on to
15:09 handle that and there our feelings
15:12 towards their accounts in totally
15:14 different ways Blac Chyna whose name is
15:16 Angela White decided to delete her
15:18 account in early 2023 after making it in
15:22 2020. are you seeing a pattern here in
15:25 an interview she said I don't do only
15:27 fans anymore I don't do it anymore at
15:30 all I'm just changing everything about
15:32 me it's a dead end all that stuff is a
15:35 dead end and I know I'm worth more than
15:38 that since she has removed her breast
15:40 implants other body and face
15:42 modifications gotten a demonic tattoo
15:45 removed and has since reinvested in
15:47 religion in another interview white said
15:49 that God would not want her to do only
15:51 fans and it is degrading her story is a
15:54 reasonably positive one Diana Dietz on
15:57 the other hand is much less so I've
16:00 actually made a video discussing Deets
16:01 on this channel before she would edit
16:03 her face to appear considerably younger
16:05 while still showing her adult figure in
16:09 you know the usual loses she joined only
16:12 fans sometime in 2019 or 2020 and
16:15 started morphing her images as a way to
16:17 both protect her real identity and put
16:19 her digital art skills to work in a
16:22 short space of time she grew from 700
16:25 000 followers on Instagram to over 3
16:27 million and soon she amassed over 10 000
16:30 paying subscribers on only fans paying
16:33 approximately ten dollars a month in
16:35 October 2020 some people began posting
16:38 on Reddit about how Deets had certainly
16:40 and clearly used digital editing to
16:43 restyle her face to look pre-hubesscent
16:45 this is something that she categorically
16:47 denied in later interviews but come on
16:49 like come like look at this come on in
16:52 early 2021 popular tiktoko back a day
16:54 posted a video eviscerating Deeds from
16:57 modifying her features to look like a
16:59 young teenager and accusing her of
17:01 pandering two fans of the playground a
17:03 short time later in February 2023 Dietz
17:06 took her own life after falling into a
17:08 deep depression related to her only fans
17:10 content friends say the model had been
17:13 depressed over the backlash and
17:14 criticism some of her photos triggered
17:16 particularly those saying that she was
17:18 beating fans of the playground
17:20 interestingly depressingly when I was
17:22 looking into this topic an anti-prong
17:25 advocate called Kate osin or seen osin
17:29 accused Deets of grooming and catfishing
17:32 underage women on social media as part
17:35 of a scheme to get them to join only
17:37 fans and it comes full circle
17:41 pyramid-like scheme did I did I not tell
17:44 you did I not tell you something else
17:46 that I think is worth noting is that
17:48 only fans as a general rule takes 20
17:50 percent of all subscriptions meaning
17:52 that in dietz's case only fans was
17:55 taking two dollars per subscriber so if
17:58 we are to run on the assumption that
18:00 Dietz was actually fan of the playground
18:03 baiting that means that only fans was
18:05 actively profiting off of that now at
18:09 the end of the day it is up to the
18:10 individual to assess the risks that come
18:13 with doing things like this and cam
18:15 girls whether people like it or not have
18:17 existed since the early days of the
18:19 internet so this entire Enterprise was
18:22 bound to grow and of course there is a
18:24 lot more to this topic but we are going
18:26 to save that for another day overall I
18:29 want to highlight that only fans cropped
18:31 up at a very unique point in time where
18:34 not only did Real World conditions
18:36 enable it to become part of public

19:03 both officially in the sense that this
19:05 website is marketed towards poor
19:08 University women as a way to make
19:10 thousands and thousands of dollars but
19:12 also unofficially in the public and
19:15 cultural discourse that surrounds this
19:17 topic marking only fans as some bizarre
19:21 Holy Grail of female Liberation in the
19:24 end I personally in 99 of cases don't
19:27 think it's either and I firmly believe
19:30 that the dark parts of this site of only
19:33 fans and sites just like it must be
19:36 exposed to sunlight now before I open
