00:00so when i was younger i was kind of an
00:02introvert and i didn't really want to
00:03travel the world that much and to be
00:05honest with you i've only been to one
00:06country outside the united states which
00:08is canada and then the pandemic happened
00:14the truth is i think a lot of people
00:15took traveling for granted they thought
00:17that they could always just do it
00:18sometime down the line
00:20and that's not necessarily true this
00:22past year has made me realize that i
00:24really do want to travel and it's
00:25something that i want to do before i get
00:26too old to enjoy it and i have been
00:28getting a ton of requests to make this
00:30video so i'm thinking that you might
00:32have the same feeling
00:33as well so in this video i'm going to be
00:35talking about real jobs
00:36that pay you to travel the world all
00:40number one on the list you've probably
00:42heard about this it's going to be
00:44holiday work visas so this is basically
00:47just like a temporary visa that allows
00:50normal job in whatever country you're
00:52staying in so it's basically like you're
00:54getting partially paid to vacation
00:56is it possible to learn this power now
00:59sometimes they'll help you find a job
01:00sometimes you're going to kind of be on
01:03and there's other channels that have
01:04covered this extensively here on youtube
01:06so i won't go into it very much
01:08and most of the time the jobs you're
01:09going to get are going to be relatively
01:11low paying just because the employer
01:13knows that you're going to be leaving in
01:14a few months and so they don't want to
01:16spend all that time and effort to train
01:18so some countries that are really well
01:20known for doing this are going to be
01:22south korea and australia for instance
01:24so let's say you go to south korea for
01:26instance you get a tutoring job that
01:28pays around twenty to thirty dollars an
01:30which is enough for you to live off of
01:32and you're going to be in a part of the
01:33world where it's very easy for you to
01:35fly to other countries and visit them
01:37you could also go to australia for
01:39instance and find a job that makes maybe
01:41twenty to thirty dollars an hour maximum
01:43but you get to live in freaking
01:44australia which is awesome and it's also
01:46a great location to travel to other
01:48parts of the world as well
01:50so this allows you to travel and go to
01:51parts of the world that you wouldn't be
01:54even if you don't have very much money
01:56and so can be a great
01:57option for some people however this is
01:59probably not going to be a
02:00long-term solution it's more something
02:02that you'd maybe do for a few months or
02:06next on the list we are going to be
02:07talking about freelance work oh man
02:10do you know how many freelance jobs i've
02:12had to do in my life to get where i am
02:15so freelance work is basically where you
02:17do gigs for whatever type of skill you
02:20so for instance someone might hire you
02:22to design their website and they might
02:23pay you a few thousand dollars for your
02:25work but this could be any number of
02:27different skills there are lots of gigs
02:28out there where you can get paid over a
02:30hundred dollars an hour for your work
02:32and there are a ton of different sites
02:33out there you can do gigs on one of the
02:35best ones is going to be upwork.com so
02:37if you either have a skill that's
02:39already marketable or you find one
02:40that's really rare that not that many
02:43you can go on this website post your gig
02:45and you will have people contact you
02:47once you feel really confident about
02:50and travel so sometimes these gigs will
02:51be very niche so one example i saw a few
02:54years ago that was really good was there
02:57software service called click funnels
02:59that a lot of internet marketers use and
03:01if you are good at programming that
03:03software service and navigating it
03:05they'll pay you really good money for
03:06that like 30 to 50 an hour sometimes
03:08another really good one is obviously
03:10going to be different types of
03:11programming skills depending on what
03:13language or framework you know you can
03:14get paid 50 plus dollars an hour very
03:16easily sometimes over a hundred
03:18now number three is going to be opening
03:21business now this isn't going to be one
03:23where you can just apply for and
03:26you got the job and this one is kind of
03:28obvious and it's not technically a job
03:29but it's going to give you a
03:31great chance to be able to travel the
03:32world at a young age
03:34and honestly there are a lot of benefits
03:36to having a normal 9-5
03:37job but for some types of people having
03:39a normal job would be a nightmare and
03:42modern problems require modern solutions
03:45now usually with a business a lot of the
03:47time it is going to take a while to get
03:48the ball rolling but
03:49once you get it rolling especially if
03:51it's an online business this will give
03:53you tons of opportunity to travel around
03:55the world so for instance you can start
03:57your own website start your own service
03:59become a consultant create a software
04:01technically you could start a physical
04:03business as well and then just sort of
04:04run it turn key like hire a manager to
04:06run it for you but that's probably going
04:07to be quite a bit more difficult
04:09but keep in mind that starting your own
04:10business is going to be kind of like
04:13it's high risk but also high reward
04:16on the list is going to be your normal
04:18job but instead of going to an
04:20office you work remotely now a lot of
04:22people want to start a business so they
04:24can travel the world and work remotely
04:26but the problem with starting a business
04:28is it's very difficult your chances of
04:32and it usually is going to take quite a
04:34while but what if i told you that
04:36shortcut a cheat code that only big
04:39brain people know about well if there's
04:40anything that we've learned
04:42in the year of 2020 there are a ton of
04:44jobs out there that can actually be done
04:46remotely you don't have to go into an
04:48office to do them or at the very least
04:5080 percent of it can be done from home
04:52now some of you are probably thinking
04:54no way that my job can be done remotely
04:56i'm the exception to the rule but i'm
04:58telling you right now there's probably
05:00some way that at least a significant
05:03can be done from home or maybe traveling
05:06the world or if it can't be done then at
05:08the very least you could probably
05:09transfer to another job that's very
05:11similar to yours that can be so even as
05:14a healthcare worker for instance you'd
05:15think maybe there's no way that job can
05:18but i have a very good friend who
05:19actually switched over to a remote
05:21version of the job she was doing she's a
05:24as well and she got paid almost as much
05:26she only had to take a small pay cut and
05:28on top of that i'll never forget this
05:29computer programmer that i met in las
05:31vegas who had this just nicest gig i've
05:35changed the way that i thought about
05:37work in general he was basically a
05:39database architect that got paid to work
05:4110 hours a week usually and he made over
05:45a year i would run into him at
05:47mcdonald's and different coffee shops
05:49around las vegas when i was studying in
05:52and we would always chit chat it was a
05:53really cool guy and he basically had the
05:55freedom to travel anywhere he wanted to
05:57and do anything that he wanted to
05:59and all he had to do was work around 10
06:01hours a week on average
06:02anyways again programming skills are
06:05great here there's other skills that are
06:06going to be much more
06:08better suited for remote work and so
06:10it's definitely worth it to check out
06:11some of my other videos because i've
06:13talked about this extensively
06:14next on the list is one that you might
06:16not have thought would be on this list
06:17and that is going to be military and
06:20joining the navy now of course this is
06:22going to depend on where you get
06:23stationed and what you're doing you
06:25might get stationed on a ship for
06:26instance that travels all over the world
06:28or maybe you don't get stationed on a
06:29ship but every few years you're going to
06:31be moving around to different locations
06:33and you can technically do this with any
06:34of the military branches but the one
06:36where you're going to be most likely to
06:37get stationed on a ship or an aircraft
06:39carrier that travels all over
06:41is going to be the navy now of course
06:43you're going to want to have a plan
06:44going in here there's certain types of
06:45jobs where you're much more likely to
06:47get stationed on a ship than others so
06:48you're gonna wanna do your research with
06:50this but yeah the military can be a
06:52great option for getting to travel
06:54number six might make you laugh but i'm
06:56gonna say it becoming a youtuber is
07:00fantastic way to travel the world i was
07:04and here's why when you're a youtuber
07:07you can actually get a lot of your trips
07:09sponsored that's right whenever you're
07:11watching one of your favorite youtubers
07:12and they're doing some kind of cool trip
07:14where they're vlogging along the way and
07:16they're kind of just taking you with
07:17there is a secret reason why they're
07:19doing that actually there's several
07:22i mean don't get me wrong vlogging is
07:24fun and all but a lot of the time if
07:25you're gonna go on vacation you probably
07:28but for one a lot of the time you can
07:30actually get parts of your trip
07:31sponsored so let's say you're going to a
07:33really fancy restaurant or you're going
07:35to stay at this hotel
07:36they will actually comp all of that as
07:38long as you mention it in the video
07:40and then on top of that many of the
07:42travel expenses you can actually write
07:44off on your taxes because of the fact
07:46that you are technically
07:48making it for youtube now this is
07:50especially true if you are a
07:51travel vlogger these people will get
07:54crazy tax benefits just because of the
07:56fact that they're taking
07:58videos along the way and that's
07:59technically how they make their money
08:01but even if they are not a travel
08:02vlogger just including a short clip that
08:04you put in one of your youtube videos
08:07is enough to write that off as a tax
08:10that's right you are getting paid to
08:12travel so you get to write
08:13most of it off for free
08:17now this is going to depend on a lot of
08:18different things like the country you
08:20live in the state you live in etc
08:21so make sure that you consult a licensed
08:25and it really pays to have a camera and
08:27know how to use it and i don't want to
08:28brag or anything but i've probably
08:30gotten to the point on this channel
08:32where i could just travel full-time and
08:34live off of the income that i make from
08:37just from the adsense so this can be a
08:39great option for the right person at the
08:40right time but i do have to warn you
08:43just like most things that are worth it
08:44it is going to take some time to build
08:46up a channel like this
08:48so keep that in mind it'll likely take
08:49you several years before you're making a
08:51full-time income but it will definitely
08:54worth it number seven on the list is
08:56going to be teaching
08:57english abroad so you could go to a
08:59country like china or south korea
09:01where there is a lot of kind of wealthy
09:03families that want their kids
09:05not only to know how to speak english
09:07but they want to know certain dialects
09:10there's american english and there's
09:11british english and there are
09:13differences there so they not only want
09:15fluent in writing and reading english
09:17but they also want them to be able to
09:20in a fluent way to americans for
09:22instance and so this one is especially
09:24good if you're smart and you know
09:26unlike me ooh self burn those are rare
09:29and a lot of the time it's less of you
09:31know teaching people the basics of
09:33english and more of just having a
09:34conversation with them
09:36now this one is getting relatively
09:38saturated especially depending on where
09:40you go there's a lot of people who kind
09:41of figured out that this is a great way
09:43to make money and so there are many
09:44people doing this and depending on where
09:46you go it might be pretty saturated but
09:48it can be a great option for the right
09:51next number eight on the list is going
09:53to be somebody that travels for a living
09:55like a pilot or a flight attendant there
09:57are many different careers out there
09:59that travel for a living and it's not
10:01just you know flying type careers you
10:02could also work on a ship for instance
10:05and in many of these careers you'll be
10:06able to go all around the world and
10:07sometimes you'll get to spend a few days
10:09at a time in different locations just to
10:11sample them out and try them and with
10:12airlines for instance if you're smart
10:14about it you can strategically plan your
10:15trips so that you get to spend a few
10:18weekend for instance some place that you
10:19would like to maybe live in the future
10:21you get to test it out and it's almost
10:22like getting paid to vacation there for
10:25on top of that many airlines are going
10:26to offer steeply discounted or just
10:29completely free flights to all kinds of
10:31different places in the world if you
10:33next we're going to be talking about
10:35travel nurses now nursing is one of
10:37those professions i've mentioned many
10:39times on this channel
10:40that is really good not only just when
10:42you look at it at a base level you know
10:44you get paid really well
10:45but it's also extremely flexible so
10:48honestly i'm talking about travel nurses
10:50here but there's a lot of other types of
10:51healthcare professions where you can
10:53also travel as well so there are many
10:55places sometimes this is going to be
10:56within the united states and sometimes
10:59that are gonna need extra help from
11:01healthcare professionals so basically
11:03you would sign up with an agency and
11:04they would tell you what places are in
11:06need of extra help and you would travel
11:08to those places and maybe you'd stay for
11:09a few weeks or a few months sometimes
11:11even longer than that
11:12and you would get to explore in your
11:14free time so you'd spend a little bit of
11:16time there and then if you started to
11:17get tired of it you could just go to a
11:20and then you get to know that place as
11:22well and this is just a great way for
11:24you to figure out what types of places
11:26being in and on top of that a lot of the
11:28time these professions where you have to
11:30travel are going to get paid
11:31really well because there are some
11:33places that really need people
11:34who have these skills number 10 on the
11:38tutoring for a family that moves abroad
11:41a lot of wealthy families
11:43actually travel to different countries
11:45throughout the year so they might spend
11:47three months here three months there
11:48three months there and then three months
11:51now instead of constantly moving their
11:53children from school to school
11:54a lot of them choose to basically
11:56homeschool them and they're going to
11:58hire a tutor for that now this is one of
12:00those jobs where you would be moving
12:01with the family wherever they go
12:03but you'd probably get to live in very
12:05nice places throughout the world and
12:07vacation with the family as well
12:08sometimes so that is
12:10a plus side to this one but let's be
12:13not everyone is going to want to do this
12:14and so instead of doing that you can
12:16tutor online now it probably won't be as
12:19well paying and it's going to be a
12:20little bit more difficult to get a gig
12:22but if you tutor online that can be a
12:24great option especially if you have
12:26something that you are specifically
12:28i remember i used to tutor for a test
12:30called the pcap this is basically the
12:32pharmacy school admissions exam
12:34and i did really well on it and so a lot
12:36of people wanted to know how i studied
12:37for it and i basically just shared my
12:39method for studying and what resources i
12:41used i eventually got to the point where
12:43i was charging over a hundred dollars an
12:45tutoring for the pcat now of course i
12:47wasn't getting a ton of people who are
12:49but it was really good side hustle money
12:51especially for a college kid
12:53if you haven't done it already go ahead
12:55and gently tap that like button hit the
12:58ring the notification bell comment down
12:59below any thoughts comments criticisms
13:01etc that you have on the video
13:03before you leave check out my other
13:04videos right here i made them
