00:06that's right these are side hustles that
00:08are available to anyone even if you live
00:11in a small town and you're going to
00:13absolutely love these many of them I
00:14have done myself many of them other
00:16friends of mine have done them
00:17successfully and the first one is going
00:19to be buying and selling scrap metal
00:22have you ever looked at that Rusty pile
00:24of metal in your backyard and thought
00:26what if I could pay for my next vacation
00:28with this spoiler alert sometimes times
00:30it can because sometimes one person's
00:32trash can be another person's ticket to
00:34riches and this is the ultimate side
00:36hustle that turns junkyards into gold
00:39mines and basically what this involves
00:41is either buying or finding scrap metal
00:44in a small town and then you go ahead
00:46and sell them to recycling centers or
00:48processing facilities and this side
00:50hustle capitalizes on a demand for scrap
00:53metal providing a service to dispose of
00:55unwanted metal while generating income
00:57through the resale of these materials
00:59and a fun fun fact about this is this
01:01has actually been a side hustle since
01:02ancient times and there's evidence of
01:04metal recycling dating back to ancient
01:06Rome now when it comes to the earning
01:08scrap metal business owners in the US
01:09have actually been reaping the rewards
01:11of this for years and just as an example
01:13in 2020 the scrap metal Market in the US
01:16was evaluated at approximately $52
01:19billion and it's been growing at 3%
01:21every single year so this is something
01:23where you can reliably make $1,000 a
01:26month there's even some months or some
01:28people that really take it seriously and
01:30they can make much more than that plus
01:31you're doing a valuable service to
01:33society as well so overall I'm going to
01:36go ahead and give this one an 8.5 out of

02:24talk about being a handyman and there's
02:26a really good app you can do this with
02:27and it's called task rabbit now there's
02:29a good chance task rabbit is available
02:31in your area and typically you're going
02:32to start off making about $35 an hour
02:35and you can do all kinds of different
02:37things from helping people move to
02:39helping people paint a house or helping
02:41people clean up their yards and there's
02:43people on different side hustle related
02:44reddits that report making $5,000 a week
02:48or more doing this there's also people
02:49that work part-time and they report
02:51making about $1,000 to $1,500 a week and
02:54the truth is these days most people
02:56don't know how to do physical labor they
02:58don't really know how to fix things or
03:00do things that require them getting
03:02their hands dirty everybody's trying to
03:04go to college and get a white collar job
03:07and so if you're the type of person who
03:08can fix things or you can do physical
03:10labor there's a ton of opportunities out
03:13there for you and handymen typically
03:14charge about $50 to $80 per hour at
03:17least and that comes out to about $320
03:20to $600 per day on average however you
03:23can charge a lot more than that
03:25depending on the type of work that you
03:26do so yeah overall this one is excellent
03:29and I get it most of you probably don't
03:31want to do this for the rest of your
03:33life but it can be a great way to make
03:35some extra money on the side or to even
03:37have a job for a short period of your
03:39life and just save up money and then
03:41later on get a better job so I'll go
03:43ahead and give this one a 9.5 out of 10
03:45opportunity score next is going to be
03:48starting a YouTube channel that's right
03:51even if you live out in the middle of
03:52nowhere you live in a small town as long
03:54as you have an internet connection and
03:56either a phone or a computer you can
03:58start a YouTu YouTube channel and one
04:00thing that I get tired of seeing is all
04:02these people who talk about side hustles
04:04online but they don't mention the number
04:06one side hustle which is creating
04:08content which is how they're actually
04:11making money so I try to mention this in
04:13almost every video Just to let you guys
04:15know that I do think this is the number
04:17one way of making money and that's why
04:19I'm doing it myself and interestingly
04:21enough there's a number of content
04:22creators that have grown on YouTube by
04:24featuring mostly their lives in their
04:26small Hometown trout and coffee for
04:28example would regularly features parts
04:30of his small Hometown while also
04:32bringing his viewers along his journey
04:33of building cabins in the woods the
04:35cottage Ferry is another example of a
04:38channel that got really big during the
04:40pandemic when everybody else was locked
04:42in and they were able to allow viewers
04:44to feel like they were basically able to
04:46walk outside because of the refreshing
04:49scenery in a small town where she was
04:51and earnings from a YouTube channel can
04:53vary drastically so I know YouTube
04:56channels that are around 5,000
04:57subscribers that are making hundreds of
04:59of thousands of dollars a month and I
05:01know YouTube channels that have over a
05:03million subscribers that are barely
05:05getting by and so although YouTube is an
05:07incredible opportunity you want to be
05:09smart about the niche that you choose
05:12and that was kind of the mistake that I
05:13made is I chose a bunch of niches that
05:15just aren't profitable and even if I did
05:18you know get a million subscribers I
05:19probably wouldn't have made that much
05:20money for instance I started a channel
05:22on RuneScape I used to play this game
05:24RuneScape back in the day and I started
05:26a channel on that I started another
05:28Channel where I talked about different
05:29study tips I started another Channel
05:31where I talked about self-development
05:32and I uploaded one minute videos and
05:34after failing at all those channels I
05:36finally came back to YouTube in 2019 and
05:38after I started to take it seriously
05:40after just a few months I was making
05:41over $10,000 a month and because of this
05:44I was able to quit my job which I felt
05:47like I was stuck in and I wasn't really
05:49passionate about and it just stressed me
05:51out all the time and once I'd quit my
05:53job I was able to quickly scale my
05:55channel up to over $100,000 a month so
05:58yeah YouTube is is incredible it's
06:00without a doubt in my opinion the best
06:02way of making money online the only
06:05thing is you have to make sure you
06:06select the right Niche and you have to
06:07make sure that you're making the right
06:09videos and by the way I do coach a few
06:11people on how to grow and make money
06:14from YouTube every month I'm very picky
06:16about who I work with I only work with
06:17people who are very serious about
06:19growing on YouTube but you can go ahead

06:36I know that I'm biased but if you do it
06:37in the right way it really is the best
06:39way to make money online in my opinion
06:41next let's talk about junk hauling so
06:44this is basically where you help people
06:46to clean up clutter inside of their
06:48house or sometimes it might be in their
06:50backyard or on their property you put it
06:52in your truck you might put it on a
06:53trailer and then you haul it off and
06:56there's a really cool story about
06:57somebody who actually dropped out out of
06:59college founded a business called 1 1800
07:02got junk and he was able to scale it up
07:04to a $500 million Empire and depending
07:08on your location and where you haul and
07:10how much you haul you can earn anywhere
07:12from $100 to $600 per job and with
07:15consistent gigs you can make a hefty
07:17income in fact you can even scale this
07:19one up to a full-time income so yeah all
07:21you really need is a vehicle you'd
07:23probably want to do some type of
07:25advertising Services you could start on
07:26Facebook or Craigslist and then you just
07:29start doing jobs and if you do a good
07:31job your stuff will basically spread by
07:33word of mouth because lots of people
07:35will recommend you this is a pretty good
07:36one I'll go ahead and give it an 8.5 out
07:39of 10 opportunity score next is going to
07:41be window shield cleaning and this is
07:44exactly what it sounds like you
07:46basically clean people's window Shields
07:48sometimes just on the outside and
07:50sometimes also on the inside now one
07:51thing you could do here is you could
07:53partner up with a local small town gas
07:55station and basically just ask them if
07:57you can clean the windshields of people
07:59who pull up to get gas and you could
08:01maybe split however much you end up
08:03making with the gas station itself so it
08:05would be good for them as well another
08:06thing you could do is offer a mobile
08:08windshield cleaning service or you could
08:10just park out at a very specific place
08:13that is next to a stop sign or a red
08:15light that people are going to be
08:17waiting for a while and then clean
08:18people's windshields as they're waiting
08:20because as much as people love pigeons
08:22they probably don't love the poop that
08:24pigeons drop on their windshield so
08:26here's a few different examples of
08:28people that have actually done this it's
08:29actually a pretty common side hustle and
08:31you typically make between $5 and $10
08:34per windshield and that means you could
08:35make up to a few hundred a day so not
08:38the best side hustle ever but it's super
08:41easy to get started I mean basically all
08:43you need is a rag and some soap and
08:45water and for that reason I'll go ahead
08:47and give this one a 7.5 out of 10 side
08:50hustle score now with the next one you
08:52don't just wash car windows you actually
08:54could just wash any type of window out
08:57there and I think this one's a little
08:58bit better than just washing car windows
09:00as well and this is basically where you
09:02go around and you wash windows on
09:04different buildings now in some cases
09:06you might be washing windows on the
09:08first floor of a building and if you get
09:09really fancy with this you can actually
09:11get a ladder and then wash windows even
09:13on the second or third floor then here's
09:15an example of someone on Reddit who
09:16started this business and they made
09:18about $10.6 th000 in Revenue their first
09:21month cleaning residential windows like
09:23I said before there's lots and lots of
09:25opportunities if you're willing to get
09:27your hands a little dirty and here's a
09:29YouTube video about this guy who went
09:30from broke to 100K per month in window
09:33cleaning business and that's yet another
09:35example and depending on your location
09:37and the scale of the job you can make
09:39anywhere between 50 and $150 per job
09:42typically sometimes you can make more
09:44than that if it's a larger building and
09:45of course one thing that's great about
09:47this business model is if you do a good
09:49job they're probably going to have you
09:50come back every week or every month and
09:52that's what's known as monthly recurring
09:53Revenue which is a huge deal in business
09:56because you're not having to always go
09:57out there and find new business all the
09:59time so yeah you can make a ton of money
10:02doing this I'm going to go ahead and
10:03give this one an 8.5 out of 10
10:06opportunity score next is going to be a
10:08farmand and I know you're thinking this
10:10is really hard work and yes it is it is
10:13really hard work but there's certain
10:15times of year where Farmers need extra
10:18help and so if you're able to offer your
10:20services as a farm hand they're probably
10:22going to pay you very handsomely why
10:25simply because of supply and demand they
10:27don't have enough people to do the jobs
10:29that they want to do and so you can go
10:31up to a farmer and basically just ask
10:33them what times of year they could use
10:34your help and they'll probably let you
10:36know and then at that time of the year
10:38you come back to them and then you can
10:39start working now typically Farm hands
10:43$18.55 per hour but again if you do it
10:45at certain times of the year you can
10:47make much more than this so this one's
10:49pretty good I'll go ahead and give it a
10:507 out of 10 opportunity score another
10:52one that's very similar is cleaning sign
10:55boards and this is basically where you
10:57clean signs a lot of the time time these
10:59are going to be advertisement signs
11:01sometimes it might also be government
11:02signs and you're basically just going to
11:04be cleaning them to make sure that
11:05they're clean visible and they stand out
11:08now typically you'd make between 50 and
11:10$150 per job and another thing that you
11:12can do here again is the monthly
11:14recurring Revenue you can come back
11:16month after month and do it over and
11:17over again so overall this one's very
11:19similar to the other one so I'm not
11:20going to spend too much time on it but
11:22I'll go ahead and give it a 7.5 out of
11:2410 opportunity score next is going to be
11:26digital product sales so this is
11:29something that of course you can do in a
11:31small town as long as you have access to
11:33a computer and the internet and there's
11:34so many different types of digital
11:36products that you can sell just as an
11:38example this lady right here Rachel
11:40makes about $99,500 a month selling
11:43printables that she makes on canva and
11:45she says she comes up with the ideas for
11:47digital products by using Facebook
11:49groups and Google Trends and her advice
11:51for being successful on websites like
11:53Etsy is to put in effort into listing
11:55images and think like your customer so
11:58yeah absolutely love love selling
11:59digital products online there's a
12:01million different examples of how you
12:03can do this for instance a lot of people
12:04like to sell notion templates a lot of
12:06people like to sell resume templates for
12:08different types of careers I mean the
12:10only limit to what you can sell is your
12:12creativity and Imagination so I'm going
12:14to go ahead and give this one a 9.5 out
12:17of 10 opportunity score next is going to
12:19be home cleaning and this is exactly
12:22what it sounds like you basically go to
12:23people's houses and you clean their
12:25homes now there's a lot of different
12:26types of home cleaning and all of them
12:28can be relatively profitable but some of
12:30the most profitable ones are going to be
12:32carpet couch and bed cleaning and these
12:34just happen to be some of the things
12:36that normal traditional cleaning
12:38companies don't do and they don't do it
12:40because it typically does require
12:41specialized cleaning equipment and that
12:43is a huge opportunity for you to step in
12:46and do it yourself and here's an example
12:48of somebody on YouTube who built aund
12:51million plus cleaning company from
12:53scratch right and this was Karen and
12:55Frank that shared their journey of
12:57building Bravo which is a clean cleaning
12:59company and they started from humble
13:00beginnings becoming one of the largest
13:02privately held businesses in the United
13:04States so if you don't think you can
13:05make money cleaning well there's the
13:07proof $100 million plus business now
13:09typically the average price for cleaning
13:11an entire house would be somewhere
13:12between $230 and $400 and in some cases
13:16you can come back every week every two
13:18weeks every month and that means you're
13:20getting that wonderful monthly recurring
13:22Revenue which is amazing because it's
13:23much cheaper to keep clients rather than
13:25to find new ones so overall I really do
13:28like this one I think it's especially
13:30good if you decide to do one of the ones
13:32I mentioned which is cleaning couches
13:34beds or carpets of course you do need
13:36some kind of specialized equipment like
13:37a steamer but they're relatively easy to
13:39find on Amazon but I'm going to go ahead
13:41and give this one an 8.5 out of 10
13:43opportunity score next is going to be
13:45cleaning gutters and this is one of the
13:47many on this list that I used to do
13:49myself um I am from a small town myself
13:52I actually lived in several different
13:53small towns and I used to go around and
13:55clean people's gutters and basically all
13:57you need is a ladder and then there's
13:59many different ways that you can clean
14:00the gutter some people literally just
14:02use gloves and it's actually very
14:04important that people do this because if
14:05their gutters get clogged up that means
14:07that the water doesn't have a place to
14:09escape and that means it's going to
14:10remain on their roof and eventually it's
14:12going to start leaking into their house
14:14and there's many different people who
14:15have posted about the cleaning gutter
14:17side hustle on places like Tik Tok
14:20Instagram and YouTube this guy for
14:22instance makes $1,300 a day cleaning
14:24roofs and gutters and he says it's one
14:26of the easiest and highest paying side
14:28gigs out there and he talks about how he
14:30got started and generally speaking the
14:32average gutter cleaning gig is going to
14:35$360 so yeah this can be a great way of
14:38making money I'm going to go ahead and
14:39give it a 9 out of 10 opportunity score
14:42next is going to be car cleaning or car
14:45buffering and this is where you would
14:47not only clean the car sometimes on the
14:49outside as well as the inside but you'd
14:50also buffer the outside so that it
14:53shines and this gives your car that new
14:55car look where it just looks really
14:57clean and sleek and people are willing
14:59to pay a ton of money for you to do this
15:01now there's many different ways to do
15:02this of course you could just start up a
15:04normal brick and mortar business and you
15:05could also do a remote car wash as well
15:08and this is basically where you come to
15:09the person's house charge a little bit
15:11extra and you wash their car and do all
15:13the buffering and everything there and
15:15this tends to attract a type of customer
15:18that has more money because they're more
15:19time conscious you know they're trying
15:21to save time by having you come to their
15:22house and because of that for the
15:24convenience you can actually charge
15:25higher and there's an example of a
15:2722-year-old who's earning $77,000 a year
15:30as a car detailer in West Palm Beach and
15:33you can charge anywhere from1 to over
15:36$2,000 for a full detailing so yeah this
15:39is another really good one I'll give it
15:40an 8.5 out of 10 opportunity score now
15:43if you just do the car washing side of
15:45things and you're not doing the
15:46detailing and the correction side and
15:48basically detailing is where you make it
15:50shine the corrections would be where you
15:52take out any defects like for instance
15:54if it has a tiny little bump in it you
15:56can actually fix those relatively easily
15:58let's just say you're only doing the car
16:00wash side of things it's going to be a
16:01little bit less good so I'll give that
16:03an 8 out of 10 opportunity score but
16:05still pretty good next is going to be
16:07Airbnb hosting now this is becoming more
16:09and more common and I've actually gone
16:11to business conferences and met a bunch
16:13of people who are actually doing this
16:14and at first I was a little bit
16:16skeptical about it but honestly it's a
16:18pretty good side hustle and there are a
16:19lot of people that are making a
16:20full-time income from it as well so for
16:23example this guy started a $2.4 million
16:26Airbnb business in just 9 months and
16:28basically what most of these people do
16:30is they rent out a house they have an
16:33agreement with the landlord that they're
16:35actually going to be using it for Airbnb
16:38and then let's say they're renting the
16:39house for $1,000 a month and they're
16:41able to make like $2,000 a month from
16:43the Airbnb right because they're really
16:45good at marketing it online and making
16:47sure that people are actually filling up
16:49those nights right so there's no empty
16:51nights where the Airbnb isn't being used
16:53and so therefore they're able to make
16:54like $200 or $3,000 a month and it's
16:56probably like 500 to ,000 worth of
16:59profit when you count all the expenses
17:01like cleaning Etc and then all you have
17:03to do is just get a bunch of those and
17:05all of a sudden you're making you know
17:06$10,000 a month or more so yeah this is
17:09a pretty good side hustle um it's more
17:11complicated than people make it out to
17:13be of course but with that being said
17:14I'll still give it an 8 out of 10
17:16opportunity score next is going to be
17:18Tech setup services and this is exactly
17:21what it sounds like you help people set
17:23up their Wi-Fi or their satellite or
17:26their computers or their TVs ET ET and
17:29sometimes you might be assisting
17:30individuals and sometimes you might be
17:32assisting businesses as well and
17:33especially in a small town where not
17:35that many people are very techsavvy this
17:37can be an incredibly profitable side
17:40hustle so typically you can make
17:41anywhere from $20 to $100 per hour doing
17:44this so if you're the type of person
17:46who's extremely tech-savvy this one
17:48could be great for you so yeah this one
17:50is pretty good I'll go ahead and give it
17:51an 8.5 out of 10 opportunity score and
17:54the next one which is very similar is
17:56going to be if you're really good at
17:59kind of online techsavvy typee stuff so
18:01not necessarily setting stuff up but
18:03actually doing stuff online you could
18:05consider getting into digital marketing
18:07and there's many different ways of
18:08making money from this all the way from
18:10getting a job to starting your own
18:12business or working as a freelancer and
18:14one way you could do it for instance is
18:16to advertise for local businesses and
18:19digital marketing is a super valuable
18:21skill set that you can learn I've
18:22actually helped a bunch of people on
18:24this channel get into digital marketing
18:26and you start off making between 40 and
18:28$60,000 a year typically and that's if
18:31you get an entry-level job you can make
18:33much more than that by starting your own
18:34business or doing freelancing so yeah
18:36digital marketing is great I'll give it
18:37a 9.5 out of 10 opportunity score and
18:40also you can access some free training
18:42in digital marketing that basically
18:44shows how all the people that I
18:45interviewed on my channel got into it
18:47and that I'll put down in the
18:48description as well as the pinned
18:50comment below next is going to be lawn
18:53care and believe it or not this one can
18:55be incredibly profitable as well that's
18:57right you can mow people's Lawns you can
18:59weed whack and you can trim their bushes
19:01and their Hedges and make a ton of money
19:03doing it and there's a bunch of examples
19:05of people absolutely crushing it with
19:07this business model for instance there's
19:09this guy on the Family Feud show and
19:11they talked about it he makes $4 million
19:13a year with a lawn care business there's
19:15another guy who posted a video to
19:16YouTube he makes over $10 million a year
19:19with his lawn care business and the
19:21average pay for lawn care is typically
19:22about $30 to $70 per hour so yeah this
19:25is another one you got to be willing to
19:27get your hands dirty
19:28be out in the sun doing hard work but
19:30you can make a ton of money if you're
19:32willing to do that I'll go ahead and
19:34give this one an 8.5 out of 10
19:36opportunity score next is going to be
19:37pet care and this is one where yeah it's
19:39still a little dirty you still have to
19:40do a little bit of work but it's
19:42honestly probably a lot of fun too and
19:44services would include walking feeding
19:47providing companionship as well as just
19:49housing the pet if the owners go off on
19:52vacation for instance and you can make a
19:54ton of money doing this there is
19:56countless articles online about people
19:59making full-time incomes with a pet care
20:01business because honestly people will
20:03spend a lot of money to make sure that
20:06their pets are well taken care of
20:07because the pets are really just a part
20:08of their family so tons of content
20:10online about how to get started with
20:12this really good business I'll go ahead
20:13and give it an 8 out of 10 opportunity
20:15score very similarly to Pet Care is dog
20:19training and this is where you actually
20:21train other people's dogs now there's
20:23many different ways to do this you can
20:25train family dogs from the time that
20:27they're a puppy to make sure that they
20:28don't have any issues you can also train
20:31dogs that are already having issues or
20:33you could even get contracts with
20:34government agencies and train dogs to be
20:37like police dogs or something like that
20:39or security dogs right so that's
20:41actually what this person does right
20:43here so four-legged security guard dogs
20:47$230,000 right because they need to be
20:49properly trained and the average dog
20:51trainer makes about $60 to $770,000 a
20:53year but again that's like an
20:54entry-level job you can make much more
20:56than that if you start your own business
20:58so yeah another really good one I'll go
21:00ahead and give it a 7.5 out of 10

21:24say you have some room in your backyard
21:26or you've got some room in your basement
21:28you can actually just rent that room out
21:30for storage facilities for somebody else
21:33now there's actually dedicated apps that
21:35do this but chances are if you're in a
21:36small town they may not actually work
21:38there so in this case you'd have to
21:40basically just advertise your services
21:42now you can actually store things in
21:44your place or another thing you could do
21:46is you could actually just build sheds
21:48for other people and if you did the
21:49storage in your place that would be a
21:51really good form of passive income you
21:53could make a few hundred bucks a month
21:55for basically doing nothing just using
21:57up space that you wouldn't have been
21:58using anyways and if you build sheds you
22:01can make a lot more than that so
22:03typically sheds can cost anywhere from
22:06$8,250 on average and on top of that you
22:11$3,350 or more per project so you can
22:13get paid really good money to just
22:15simply assemble a shed and honestly
22:17they're not that difficult to make so
22:19this is another really good one kind of
22:21a random side hustle that's storage
22:23related um I'll go ahead and give this
22:25one a 7 out of 10 next is going to be a
22:28food truck now this is one that's near
22:30and dear to my heart because I've had
22:32some food trucks out there that have
22:34been amazing uh if you find like a
22:36really good Mexican food truck it can
22:38just like change your life basically but
22:40a food truck is a really cheap fast way
22:43of setting up a restaurant that doesn't
22:46cause you to take a lot of risk right so
22:48you can just get a food shop you can
22:49quickly set up a restaurant or a
22:51restaurant idea and you can test it out
22:54and you don't have to worry about having
22:55a physical location where you don't know
22:57if the location's good or not because if
22:59the location isn't good you just drive
23:00your truck to another location and it's
23:02that simple so I recently moved to a new
23:05area and there's basically no good
23:07Mexican restaurants in this area and the
23:09first thing I thought is man someone
23:11needs to set up a food truck here and I
23:13can almost guarantee you that if

23:22not just Mexican food of course for
23:24instance this guy started Soul taco and
23:26that's kind of a Korean Fusion type of
23:28food and food trucks make on average
23:32$500,000 annually and that's about 20
23:3542,000 per month and then if you have
23:37like a fleet of food trucks you're going
23:39to make a lot more than that so yeah
23:41this one can be phenomenal I'm going to
23:43go ahead and give it a 7.5 out of 10
