04:39 where thinking is the noun and design is

04:41 the adjective that describes that line

04:44 it's called design thinking because it

04:46 takes a certain approach

04:48 but being a problem solver and thinker

04:52 and indeed by the time you finish you

04:56 are the problem solver but you need to

05:38 changing mindsets and looking at the

06:08 is a company that was transformed to a

06:14 in 2009 it was close to going bust like

06:17 so many startups that launched but

06:18 nobody had noticed

06:20 the revenue was two hundred dollars per

06:22 week there were three young founders

06:24 that maxed out in their credit cards

06:26 they were pouring over their search

06:28 results they were looking at their data

06:30 they were trying to understand what are

06:31 we doing wrong

06:32 they got an advisor in and the advisor

06:35 said

06:36 excuse the language but the advisor

06:38 actually said your photographs suck

06:40 nobody would ever want to stay there

06:42 what did they do

06:43 they gave themselves permission to try

06:45 something new

06:47 they flew to new york rented a camera

06:50 spent time with the customers that were

06:52 listing the properties

06:54 replaced the photography with beautiful

06:56 high resolution pictures

06:58 they did it a week later the results

07:02 of four hundred dollars that was the

07:05 of a billion dollar business because

07:19 are a lot of things where you can

07:23 better than anybody else in the world

07:26 it's not about somewhere to stay for a

07:28 night it's about something that's made

07:30 possible by the hosts

07:32 it's a chance to do something unique

07:35 they talk about homes not rentals pets

07:38 are allowed to get them imagine

07:40 for pet owners this is a big thing they

07:42 understand that

07:44 and indeed in these types of covet what

07:46 you can see on the right there

07:48 is where they talk about not only

07:49 bringing people to places but people

07:51 experiencing places

07:52 online they're constantly driven by

07:55 doing unique things

07:56 and indeed airbnb when people start and
