00:02without making videos it sounds crazy
00:05but i'd like to introduce you to
00:07something called niche youtube channels
00:09and chances are you've probably seen
00:11tons of channels already doing this but
00:13what you probably didn't know is that a
00:15lot of these channels could actually be
00:17making a lot of money and basically the
00:19way it works is that you go to some
00:20special websites you download videos you
00:23repurpose them to make them more
00:25valuable and then you monetize them my
00:27name is matt parr and my students along
00:29with myself are the people behind a lot
00:31of the big faceless youtube channels out
00:33there i personally run over a dozen
00:36different youtube channels most of which
00:38i never even show my face or even create
00:40the videos for i've been able to get
00:42over a million subscribers on a channel
00:44which earned me this gold play button
00:46and multiple other channels to over a
00:48hundred thousand subscribers which got
00:50me multiple silver play buttons i was a
00:52completely broke high school student a
00:54couple years ago back in 2014 and at the
00:57time i did have a youtube channel and i
00:59would just upload like backyard stunts
01:01gaming videos with my friends and that
01:03sort of thing and i'd be lucky if i had
01:05a video get 10 views that is until i
01:07came across a youtube channel that went
01:09by the name of top fives and what was
01:12really interesting about this channel is
01:14that they created videos without ever
01:16even showing their face and got millions
01:18upon millions of views they used other
01:20people's videos they did a voiceover on
01:23top of them and they made them fair use
01:24and the thing about the videos is that
01:26they seemed so easy to make so you know
01:28what i did i took this cracked phone
01:30that i had at the time i recorded
01:32voiceovers i edited them together on my
01:34laptop and i uploaded the videos to
01:36youtube and after switching to this
01:38method of doing youtube i was able to
01:40get to three thousand dollars a month in
01:42the next couple months and i got up to
01:44nine thousand dollars a month not too
01:46long after that and mind you this is all
01:48while being in high school and what's
01:50absolutely incredible about niche
01:51youtube channels is that you can pay
01:53other people to make the videos for you
01:55and so once my time was taken up with
01:58creating youtube videos when i was
01:59making around nine thousand dollars per
02:01month i hired freelancers online and i
02:03put together a content team for very
02:05cheap and then with all this extra time
02:07i was able to start new channels in
02:09different niches and this is how i've
02:10scaled up to making over thirty thousand
02:12dollars per month just from one single
02:14monetization source alone and if you
02:16include all of my income sources from
02:18youtube i make over a hundred thousand
02:21dollars per month and i don't love to
02:22talk about how much money that i'm
02:24making from all these different sources
02:26but i'm making this video series for
02:27that one person out there who's thinking
02:29about doing youtube or who wants to
02:31start an online business but they just
02:32don't know where to start and honestly i
02:34wish i had this resource when i was
02:36starting on youtube it would have been
02:37so incredibly helpful and i would have
02:39been able to bypass years of experience

03:16cameras and then you have to set up this
03:18whole studio and then you sit there
03:19trying to come up with video ideas that
03:21you hope will get views and for most
03:22people they never do and then you spend
03:24hours in front of a camera filming
03:26videos with countless retakes and you
03:28have to have a good on-camera
03:29personality and then you edit videos for
03:31hours upon hours upon hours and then
03:34when you finally get a video up with all
03:36that hard work that you put into it your
03:38video might not get any views and even
03:40if it does then you have to deal with
03:41people personally attacking you within
03:43the comments and then you simply have to
03:44do this process over and over again now
03:47you might have been thinking about doing
03:48this you might have already tried this
03:50and you know how draining of a process
03:52this can be or you've seen tons of other
03:54people try to do this and fail now a lot
03:56of people think that when it comes to
03:57making money on youtube without showing
04:00your face they think that you have to
04:01steal content from other people and just
04:03re-upload it onto youtube and that's

04:07possibly do because sure maybe you
04:09upload some videos you get some views
04:11but all it takes is a couple copyright
04:13strikes and your video gets taken down

04:23and i've been able to build a real
04:25long-term business with youtube by doing
