00:00with AI I think most people are past the
00:02hype of using or paying for tools that
00:04are basically just Cool Tech demos we
00:07want tools to incorporate into our lives
00:09to save time be more productive or
00:12actually use in the real world this is
00:15that list I'm going to cover the seven
00:17AI tools I use every day to increase my
00:19productivity simplify and automate
00:22tedious tasks and just get more done
00:24there's a few of these I was resistant
00:26to at first because sometimes you just
00:27get comfortable doing things the way you
00:30always have but then I'd finally try
00:31them and have no idea how I ever lived
00:34without them there's also five bonus
00:35tools at the end that don't apply
00:37directly to what I do so I don't use
00:39them every day but I research and test a
00:42ton of tools for this Channel and
00:43they're some of the most useful I've
00:45come across for the people that need
00:47them I'll start with Arc browser then
00:49perplexity which I have set up as the
00:52default search engine within Arc after
00:54using this combo for a while going back
00:56to using Chrome or Safari to search
00:58something using Google feels like using
01:00a flip phone a couple major quality of
01:03life improvements you notice right away
01:04is first off the vertical sidebar for
01:06all your bookmarks and tabs it's way
01:08easier to organize this way and doesn't
01:10have that ugly look of 20 tabs up top
01:12like every other browser at least if
01:14you're a tab hoarder like me you can
01:16hide the sidebar then it will pop back
01:18open when you hover so you always have a
01:20clean look then if you start to have too
01:21many tabs open you click this little
01:23broom button and it will use AI to
01:25analyze and sort them into categories
01:28you can also create different spaces for
01:29or profiles or between work personal and
01:32school or by interest and if you open up
01:34a tab that fits into a different profile
01:36you can just drag it over there overall
01:38there's way more options for
01:39organization and having your workspace
01:42just never feel cluttered is really nice
01:44then the split view windows is huge just
01:46drag a tab out and it automatically
01:48jumps into split view then it will
01:50resize them automatically as you drag so
01:52much better than switching between tabs
01:54or using separate windows that are weird
01:56to resize in a similar realm if you're
01:58watching a YouTube video and click on
02:00another tab it automatically switches to
02:02picture in picture this is already a
02:04feature in phones so I don't know why no
02:06other browser has implemented that and
02:08just those features right there are such
02:09game changers and now that I've used
02:11them it seems insane that no one ever
02:13thought of them before there's some
02:15other cool stuff too like it will rename
02:17downloaded files based on content or it
02:19will show link previews when hovering
02:21over a link there's great keyboard
02:23shortcuts you can screenshot or screen
02:25capture the full page natively and these
02:27built-in easel which are a whiteboard
02:29like for taking notes drawing and
02:32collaborating and they're always adding
02:33new stuff they have a big focus on
02:35customization you can toggle on and off
02:37features you like or don't like so
02:39they're already integrated with a ton of
02:40AI features and made the experience much
02:42more modern and fast but they also
02:45partnered with perplexity and you can
02:46set it to your default search engine
02:48that takes the whole thing to the next
02:50level so perplexity is a much faster way
02:52to get from question to answer I'll type
02:55in the search bar what are the key
02:57benefits of Arc browser all right
02:59instead of of a list of links to go
03:01through perplexity basically searches
03:03the internet for you and condenses what
03:05it found all into a short page like a
03:07personal AI research assistant I have an
03:09answer links to the sources that used to
03:12get that answer then some media like
03:14related images and videos and suggested
03:16questions to continue the conversation
03:18with just a click using sources to
03:20formulate its responses cuts down on
03:22hallucinations significantly it's called
03:24retrieval augmented generation and it
03:26will tend to be more accurate than just
03:28asking chat GPT and it does all the
03:30extremely fast in a really clean
03:31interface with no ads so I use it on the
03:34web and the mobile app every day there
03:35are some really nice additional benefits
03:38if you use the paid version like access
03:39to different Advanced llms so you can
03:42switch between GPT 4 and CLA and llama
03:45and mixol you can look into all that if
03:46you really like it but the free version
03:48is amazing too perplexity is the first
03:50place I go when I have a question before
03:52Google before chat gbt or anywhere else
03:55next up is notion generally in any
03:58productivity system or in information
04:00gathering system you'll have some sort
04:02of central Hub where all your
04:03information gets stored often referred
04:05to as your second brain which is a
04:07perfect term so how I think about this
04:09is you have the mind machine and Method
04:11so the machine is all these tools for
04:13capturing and processing information
04:15then the mind for it all to live in and
04:17various workflows and methods to process
04:20and get it all there in my system I have
04:22notion as the mind they would have been
04:24included in this either way but they did
04:26also sponsor this video thank you notion
04:28let's do a couple examples I'm always
04:29search searching for new AI tools to
04:31test and information to save basically
04:33the only reason I have Twitter I've seen
04:34a bunch of posts about this arill Avatar
04:36tool I don't have time to experiment
04:38right now but I want to make sure I have
04:39it saved so I have my AI knowledge base
04:42in notion as a pinned tab in Arc so I'll
04:44drag that tab into split view open up
04:47the Avatar folder then copy it in there
04:51having all this stuff as just bookmarks
04:52gets really difficult to navigate I keep
04:54it all in here to remember to read later
04:57or to reference if I'm making a video
05:00also I have my whole content creation
05:02workspace in here so I'll open up the
05:03YouTube folder and do a quick tour I
05:05have video ideas built into almost every
05:07page so I can always see what's in
05:09progress what's upcoming or be able to
05:12jot down a quick idea at any time
05:14there's resources sponsors ideas to-dos
05:18and things to improve whether that's
05:20critiques people leave in the comments
05:23which are often valid although not
05:25always worded constructively or my own
05:27criticisms of myself which aren't always
05:30worded constructively either I suppose
05:32we don't need to open that one let's
05:33open up the video ideas then
05:35productivity tools it's got the sponsor
05:37as notion then it starts as research and
05:39notes where I dump everything but in an
05:41organized manner so here's how I do that
05:43I know I'm going to include Arc so I'll
05:45use this prompt in perplexity summarize
05:47Arc browser in one sentence then give me
05:50a bulleted list of the key features then
05:53a list of sources I can use for further
05:57research boom now I can copy that into
06:00notion then turn everything into a
06:02collapsible section with a drop- down
06:08arrow so I can do that for every tool
06:11and then move them around delete the
06:13ones I test and don't like add notes on
06:15them and then it starts to form an
06:18outline and then I will steadily work
06:22script and then I'll throw title and
06:24thumbnail ideas in here throughout the
06:25process then there's some checklists to
06:27make sure I get everything taken care of
06:29during the load process I can't Deep
06:30dive into the whole setup but I also
06:32love that notion has AI integrated
06:33throughout it's really helpful say I'm
06:35working on the script here I'll
06:37highlight a section what is a good
06:39analogy for this or I'll have it
06:41reformat paragraphs into bullet points a
06:43lot notion is really powerful there's
06:45all sorts of automations you can do you
06:47can collaborate any page you create you
06:49can share as a website it's endless but
06:52I'll just leave it at what I spend the
06:53most time using it for which is content
06:55creation and thought it would be helpful
06:56to show how all these tools can work
07:00I have two message management apps that
07:02are huge timesavers for messages across
07:05every app besides email texts.com is one
07:08of these that's just been a GameChanger
07:10so I have a lot of social media accounts
07:12and I try to avoid spending time on
07:14these platforms for the most part so
07:16instead of going from Twitter to
07:17Instagram to Discord and just forgetting
07:20that LinkedIn even exists text.com
07:23brings them all into one place so I can
07:25just dedicate a block of time and bust
07:27through all of it and avoid any of the
07:28algorithms it includes the non-
07:30algorithm-based apps like slack and
07:32WhatsApp and everything else too and
07:33since it's all private DMS I'd have to
07:35blur out basically my whole screen to
07:37show it so I'm going to cover it quick
07:39basically it's one Unified Inbox for all
07:41your apps it has AI integrated so you
07:43can easily draft responses with chat GPT
07:46get automated summaries and translations
07:48the inbox is also just really organized
07:50where you can search messages or pin
07:53important conversations to the top
07:54there's stuff like send later keyboard
07:56shortcuts a customizable UI and a ton
07:59other features that make it just way
08:00better another great part that needs to
08:02mention is their focus on privacy so
08:04they ensure endtoend encryption of your
08:06messages and send them directly to the
08:08messaging platforms so they never touch
08:10the text.com servers like a digital post
08:13office and this is the only tool on the
08:15list that you don't get much in the free
08:17plan you can only link a couple accounts
08:19it's $15 per month to be able to link
08:21them all I thought it was still worth a
08:22mention because it is a huge timesaver
08:24and I haven't found a good free option
08:26the other big part of this is managing
08:28email which can also be overwhelming and
08:30timec consuming so using an AI email
08:32assistant can help you get to inbox zero
08:35this is another one where I didn't want
08:36to show Private emails so I'm using
08:38other Clips instead of blurring
08:39everything missive is integrated with
08:41open AI so you can quickly create and
08:43reply to emails fix grammar and spelling
08:46errors translate messages and even
08:48customize the AI to your specific needs
08:50using your own prompts one aspect that
08:52stands out with missive over some of the
08:54others is the team integration it's
08:56great for collaborating you can share
08:58custom prompts with your team the the
08:59ability to collaborate around important
09:01emails with your team easily instead of
09:03forwarding and writing back and forth or
09:05jumping into slack or something is
09:07really nice and you do get a lot with
09:09the free version canva is the ultimate
09:11timesaver for all sorts of graphic
09:13design like social media Graphics
09:16presentations and infographics marketing
09:19materials educational materials it's
09:21amazing how easy it makes it like for my
09:23video about Ai mobile apps I needed a
09:25graphic showing all the apps in their
09:27various categories so I jumped into can
09:29and made it really easily in that same
09:32video I needed one for the difference
09:34between chat GPT and Microsoft co-pilot
09:36features I couldn't find a good-looking
09:38one online anywhere so I Just Whipped
09:39one up in canva and it looked awesome it
09:41would take a crazy amount of time for me
09:43to make something half as good in
09:45Photoshop or illustrator and I've been
09:47using those platforms for over a decade
09:49and that already sped things up a ton
09:50but they have a bunch of AI features
09:52rolled out as well where you can create
09:54custom templates from a text prompt if
09:56you have a design you need to resize to
09:58a different aspect ratio it will analyze
10:00and resize it in the best way there's an
10:02AI writing assistant Magic Eraser magic
10:05replace and Magic edit honestly canva
10:08has saved me an immeasurable amount of
10:10time and you can do a ton of this all
10:12for free but you will come across some
10:13templates and Graphics that are only
10:15included in the Pro Plan then there is
10:17of course chat GPT I assume 99% of the
10:20people watching use chat GPT or another
10:22llm already if not I have basically a
10:24full course that I uploaded for free
10:26here on YouTube that goes over every
10:28feature and how to utilize and Implement
10:31them into your work and life so feel
10:33free to check that out I use it for a
10:35lot but the thing that's my most
10:37frequent use of all is brainstorming
10:39having someone or something I guess to
10:42bounce ideas off of is huge even if the
10:44ideas it gives back aren't perfect it
10:46helps to think out of the box and spur
10:48on more thoughts I've run pretty much
10:50everything through chaty PT to ask for
10:52critiques sometimes I take the advice
10:54sometimes I don't but it's almost always
10:56helpful then of course there's a
10:57thousand other things to use it for
10:59those are all the apps I use every day
11:01now I want to cover some more tools that
11:03are awesome but I don't have as much
11:05personal experience with since they
11:06don't apply to what I do there's so many
11:08AI tools that come out all the time and
11:10most people don't have the time to sift
11:12through and test them all out but this
11:13is what I do every day so I want to just
11:15show some of the other most useful tools
11:17I've tested that can hopefully be
11:19helpful to someone out there forms.
11:22apppp is an easy way to create really
11:24nice looking forms surveys and quizzes
11:26that could be a customer feedback survey
11:28contact form or a quiz for a trivia
11:31night or to send to your co-workers or
11:33followers it's really easy to use
11:35customer feedback form about my
11:38bakery now it really quickly uses AI to
11:41generate the whole thing then I can
11:44modify it from there so I'll add an
11:51top then I can switch the theme
11:57one now I can modify any field I can
12:01have ai rewrite them or add any new
12:03fields and options I want and that looks
12:05nice now I can see how that looks on a
12:08tablet or on mobile that was really easy
12:10so let's try a quiz two 10 question quiz
12:17knowledge and boom we've got all our
12:20questions I'll test out an animated
12:23theme that looks pretty
12:26cool once your quiz or form is ready you
12:29can connect it to all sorts of
12:30applications you can share it with their
12:32web link or by embedding it then there's
12:35various ways to view the responses this
12:37makes it super easy to create all this
12:39so if that's something you need you can
12:41try it out for free there's plans to
12:43upgrade based on your usage definitely a
12:45huge timesaver otter is an AI meeting
12:48assistant it can record and transcribe
12:51your meetings in person or on Zoom
12:53Google meet and Microsoft teams then you
12:55can search the text to play back the
12:57audio at adjustable speeds then tap the
12:59words to jump to different spots it can
13:02highlight key points to review later has
13:04automated slide capture it will insert
13:06into the notes I've tested it and it
13:08works great and should be super helpful
13:10if you have a lot of meetings to be able
13:12to review them but also to be able to
13:14stay focused and attentive during the
13:16meeting instead of having to take your
13:17own notes humata simplifies the process
13:20of reading and extracting valuable
13:22information from complex files you can
13:24summarize findings compare documents
13:26search for answers within files and
13:29provide citation links so it's a
13:30powerful tool for enhancing productivity
13:32for improving comprehension of research
13:35materials for uncovering insights in
13:37documents and historical data and Trends
13:39one of their taglines is a good way to
13:41summarize this asking is faster than
13:43skimming recast allows you to turn
13:46online articles into audio summaries in
13:48a conversational format so you upload
13:50any article news or blog post and it
13:52will use AI to generate a back and forth
13:54dialogue between virtual hosts they
13:57explain and discuss key points of the
13:58article so it sounds just like a podcast
14:00it's a pretty cool way to listen to
14:02articles on the go and can be helpful
14:04for retention to hear it as a
14:06conversation today's interesting news is
14:08about open AI CEO Sam Altman and Joanie
14:11IV who was Apple's design Chief the two
14:13have teamed up to create an AI powered
14:15personal device and are currently
14:17seeking funding we don't know much about
14:19the device yet except that it won't
14:21resemble a smartphone given that Altman
14:23is a big investor in the Humane AI pin
14:26with gamma you can use AI to design
14:29engaging presentations documents and web
14:32pages with all the text and images
14:34generated in under a minute this is a
14:36demo website I made in a previous video
14:38I asked for a landing page of a tattoo
14:40shop and got the entire site made with
14:42all the copy and it generated all the
14:44images in around 30 seconds then I
14:46quickly customized the theme and
14:48regenerated images where I wanted then
14:50asked the AI assistant to rewrite a
14:52section and this was the result and you
14:54can publish to a gamma do site or your
14:56own custom domain for people that don't
14:58have any design or coding skills this is
15:00the quickest way to spin up a website
15:02that you can fully update and edit on
15:04your own it works just as well for
15:06presentations and documents too then I
15:08guess the bonus bonus is futur
15:18recommendations every week while you're
15:20there you can sign up for the newsletter
15:22and get AI tools news and tutorials
15:24delivered directly to your inbox
15:26alongside over 200,000 others that are
15:29learning to leverage AI in their
15:30personal creative and professional lives
15:33thank you so much for watching I'll see
