00:10contractor what what you'll see or what
00:12you'll hear is just a visceral negative
00:16reaction to the construction permitting
00:18process and when I hear that that's the
00:21sort of reaction that gives me energy
00:23because that's an opportunity to improve
00:27the life of someone to make a company or
00:30business more successful
00:35it has a lot of different steps you're
00:37trying to figure out which permits you
00:39need which departments you go to which
00:41forms you need Which documents are
00:43required and as a general contractor or
00:45developer that's not what you're trying
00:47to do you're trying to build a building
00:49and we take all those eyes and all those
00:53t's and we help make sure they're dotted
00:55and crossed so that our customers can
00:58focus on what they care about which is
00:59designing and building beautiful
01:04what peripheral does is we take the
01:07project scope map that through our
01:10software workflow engine and map that
01:12over to the required permits the
01:14relevant departments the forms and the
01:17documents required we then go through
01:19our turbo tax-like workflow where we
01:21pull information in from different
01:23sources to prepare the permit package we
01:26submit that to the municipality provide
01:28monitoring and full transparency to our
01:30customers so they're always proactively
01:33in control of their process so that as
01:36the GC or as the developer you see
01:39everything and you see how it's all
01:41being orchestrated but you don't have to
01:42manage that day to day while still
01:47so how how does a home builder approach
01:49permitting well usually it's whoever
01:51draws the smallest straw
01:54it's not something that most people want
01:56to deal with but if you're focused on
01:58affordable housing and what you know is
02:00that the carrying cost of a project is
02:02also dependent on how much you need to
02:05retain talent and keep your contractors
02:07on schedule and delay costs and having
02:10things sit around versus actually moving
02:13that has a huge impact in fact most of
02:16our case studies that we have around the

02:20permit flow are based on the dollar
02:22amount that they've saved around
02:26if your goal is to minimize the cost of
02:29the affordable housing to the end user
02:31or the end you know consumer that has a

03:04there is an incredible group of
03:06individuals at permit flow that own
03:09certain aspects of this solution to the
03:11problem and that ownership is very
03:14personal for them it's very personal
03:15because they've either seen it firsthand
03:17given their backgrounds or they
03:20understand the impact that it can have
03:22on people who actually need affordable
03:24housing or projects to stay on scope and
03:27on schedule and it's it's really
03:30interesting to have that type of talent
03:31all come together devoted to solving
